In fact, when my robot starts, it saves out a file with its _track representation_ which I can read and plot with a program such as octave. Then I additionally save the calculated optimal trajectory, average actual trajectory, the set of all trajectories while practicing, including speed data, wheel turning and so on. This is sometimes too much data, so it's better to just output it on the console and look at it real-time for debugging. |

Hi Alexander, As far as I know this is not readily available in torcs. You will have to implement it yourself. To test my trajectory optimization algorithms I created a Java program that loaded a track from file and displayed it in a 2D overview. Then I could test my algorithms and display the results on that track. Ofc this is good to test only algorithms that do not required live information to optimize (such as car velocity, lap times etc). But it's a good way to test algorithms that just need the track segmenent information. like a biggest arc algorithm etc. Regards, Nicos On 5/9/07, Alexander Tsamutali <as...@gm...> wrote: > > Hi. > > Currently i'm writing a robot which tries to find better trajectory in > advance (biggest arc, etc.). Hi. Currently i'm writing a robot which tries to find better trajectory in advance (biggest arc, etc.). Is it possible to draw it's findings directly on the track to facilitate debugging? -- Alexander Tsamutali |

I would like to make a toyota RAV 4 on torcs...do you think it=
is possible to build my own car and simulate it on torcs. If so, please te=
