Hi everyone. I just upgraded the track Goldstone-Sand, including improvements commentaries by Haruna (thanks). I have also updated some textures and errors in the 3D model. I too uploaded an improved wheel model for open wheell cars. You can download from my website on the links at the end of this news: http://apr-free.info/joomla/index.php/circuitos-torcs/88-en-descarga-goldstone-sand-silverstone-arena-cap-10 Cheers -------------------------------------------------------------------- http://apr-free.info Recursos para Torcs, Cante y Técnica TV. --- El dom, 9/12/10, Haruna Say <ato...@gm...> escribió: De: Haruna Say <ato...@gm...> Asunto: Re: [Speed-dreams-users] Re : [Speed-dreams-devel] Godstone Sand Circuit to test A: "manfariel" <man...@ya...> Cc: spe...@li..., tor...@li..., "xavier bertaux" <ber...@ya...>, tor...@li..., spe...@li... Cheers While I throughly enjoy the circuit, there are some major things that really bug me 100%: - You can go through the pit wall up until the track section with the actual pit area. (Screenshot) - You can go through the walls at the pit exit. - Black outlines on tree and spectator textures are *really* ugly; add "_n" to your tree and spectator textures so this doesn't happen. - Bright green tarmac next to the curbs? Aren't they usually a darker shade or is real "Goldstone's" astroturf like that? Cheers, Haruna. |

Yes. They are just a decorative element. I follow the advice of h-j-s and W.D.B. in the walls of the pit. The issue is not to put barriers to entry and exit of the robots, so that totally eliminates the barriers outside the pit-line.

uouuuuuu ... recalled a "trick" in this sense but did not know exactly what it was. I'm on it. Thank you.
- Bright green tarmac next to the curbs? Aren't they usually a darker shade or is real "Goldstone's" astroturf like that?---------------------------------
No. This is not astroturf. This is painted cement. I've looked at videos and seems to be darker, but not much. I look more closely and fix it if necessary.
Cheers,
Haruna."------------------------------
Thanks for your feedback Haruna :-)

Hi xavier Thanks for your feedback. Regarding the black doors, we must be especially careful when editing the pit building. In f1orza happened to me. I included in the svn tonight but I put it in the category Circuit (gprix is just a category for track not finish - for SD) minx question, I remade g-speedway now called Newton, but I have a problem when I remake a track, the pit doors are black (just a plane black) year idea ? Normally pit doors is generated by program not by the 3D editor. I posed the question to Andrew but yet no reply, he must be full time work Cheers Xavier De : manfariel <man...@ya...> À : spe...@li...; tor...@li... Cc : tor...@li...; spe...@li...
