Hello, I've imported the TuxKart from supertuxkart game for torcs. Moreover I've cloned the Olethros driver for these car. Installation instruction are provided in the zip file wich contain the car and the driver (already compiled for linux but not for windows, if anybody can compile it for windows and send me the compiled driver library it would be great and i would include it in this package) You can download the files form http://files.filefront.com/tuxkart+and+driverszip/;13087119;/fileinfo.html Bye, Vicente www.vmarti.es |

Hi Gustavo, I can send you the Install.class, it is 2.5MB zipped. Can you receive a file this size on this address? kilo Gabor Kmetyko On Thu, Jan 15, 2009 at 4:19 PM, gustavo battiti <gus...@pi...> wrote: > Oh, yes Sk, > O forgot to say that. > I use linux. > > Thanks > gustavo > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > This SF.net email is sponsored by: > SourcForge Community > SourceForge wants to tell your story. > http://p.sf.net/sfu/sf-spreadtheword > _______________________________________________ > Torcs-users mailing list > Tor...@li... > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/torcs-users > > |

I´ve downloaded the trackeditor 0.6.2c.tar.bz2, from berniews page, (Thanks God, I found it ), descompress it, and the minihowto said: rename the file install-0.6.x.class to install.class, then run java Install. questions: I don´t find that file. Where do I find install-0.6.x.class? If there is other way, can somebody help me? The tutorial "make your tracks in 20 minutes" of Vicente Marti, said that trackeditor and trackgen are provided by TORCS. I saw that trackgen is in /torcs/bin and works fine, but what happens with trackeditor ?, if somebody knows, can help me please?. many thanks bata |

I am running Torcs on an Intel Mac, with a Logitech Extreme 3D joystick. Torcs is not seeing the joystick in the Controls screen. In the preferences, the GLUT panel does recognise it and respond correctly. I already use the joystick with FlightGear, so the joystick / computer combination is okay. Is anyone else using this setup and getting the joystick to work correctly? Is there anything I need to do in Torcs to get it to look for the joystick? Thanks Andrew |

Hi all,
the fordgt40 (kc-gt40.xml ) don´t have section sound in the xml file, in
the optional package for TORCS 1.3.1.
I I copied the fordgt2.wav from the previous gt40, to /data/sound, and
then take the section from other car and copied to kc-gt40.xml, and
changed the wav file, and set the rpm scale to 1.0.
<section name="Sound">
<attstr name="engine sample" val="fordgt2.wav"/>
<attnum name="rpm scale" val="1.0"/>
</section>

Greetings all, The technical basics: Debian testing with custom 2.6.27 kernel gcc/g++ 4.3.2 TORCS 1.3.1 via CVS using "cvs -z5 -d:pserver:ano...@to...:/cvsroot/torcs co -r r1-3-1 -P torcs" Following niggling problems after switching to r1-3-1, I deleted the entire torcs/src directory and all other files in torcs/ and checked them out fresh. This solved my first set of problems where simuv3 failed to compile. The problem now: Compile fails for src/drivers/K1999. Following the lead of the earlier announcement of 1.3.1-test1, I changed the following lines in K1999.cpp: Replace #include <iostream.h> with #include <iostream> Replace #include <iomanip.h> with #include <iomanip> Replace #include <fstream.h> with #include <fstream> Build now fails with the following output: ====== g++ -I/usr/local/source/CVS/torcs/torcs/torcs/export/include -I/usr/local/source/CVS/torcs/torcs/torcs -g -O2 -Wall -fPIC -fno-strict-aliasing -O2 -DUSE_RANDR_EXT -DGL_GLEXT_PROTOTYPES -Wall -fPIC -fno-strict-aliasing -O2 -DUSE_RANDR_EXT -DGL_GLEXT_PROTOTYPES -D_SVID_SOURCE -D_BSD_SOURCE -DSHM -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -Wno-deprecated -c K1999.cpp K1999.cpp:105: error: 'ostream' has not been declared K1999.cpp: In function 'void initTrack(int, tTrack*, void*, void**, tSituation*)': K1999.cpp:525: error: 'ends' was not declared in this scope make[3]: *** [K1999.o] Error 1 ====== Sincerely, Jonathan |

Hi All, A quick question: is there a way to predefine the fovy for the up car view. One can zoom in and out once the race is started but every new race start the view starts from quite far up. Where would that setting be, i.e. in an xml somewhere ? Cheers Laurent |

Hi All I was very pleased over the announcement of the content-Exchange side and uploaded fast some of my tracks. Unfortunately small errors in-crept, therefore the objections. I tried until today (also with Bernhard's Help) to have removed these tracks again from the server, unfortunately without success!!! Since that proved Contact-link as dead-link , for me the side is nevertheless rather suspect and I recommend all, to still be waiting until further notice with upload any data. Meanwhile all 6 TRACKs are revised with trees, grandstands, fences, spectators ect., are however only uploaded if the old tracks are removed!!! With sporty greetings h - j - s |

I´m trying 1.3.1 version, It looks so better than 1.3.0. The cars look so better. To drive seems to be a little more difficult, and realistic too. The default oponents are more realistics too. I don´t like the new car names. car1btr, car2 .... etc. I prefer the real name of the cars. ¿Is possible to drive fordgt40 ?. To configure it I haved to install freeglut-dev, plib 1.8.5, libopenal-dev, then runs well in kubuntu 8.10 with command line /usr/local/bin/torcs. The path for games is other in kubuntu, and don´t recognize it (this what I mean, I don´t know if its true), Bata |

Hi Adam I guess you are a victim of the buggy VIA OpenGL drivers (if I got the right hardware description from the net), get working ones (if they exist, I doubt...) or try to report it to VIA. http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1162378&group_id=3777&atid=103777 Bye, Bernhard. tor...@li... wrote: > As list administrator, your authorization is requested for the > following mailing list posting: > > List: Tor...@li... > From: be...@bl... > Subject: [Fwd: Torcs-users post from the...@ho... requires approval] > Reason: Message body is too big: 72034 bytes with a limit of 40 KB > > At your convenience, visit: > > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/admindb/torcs-users > > to approve or deny the request. > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > Subject: > [Fwd: Torcs-users post from the...@ho... requires approval] > From: > Bernhard Wymann <be...@bl...> > Date: > Thu, 01 Jan 2009 23:54:24 +0100 > To: > torcs-users <tor...@li...> > > To: > torcs-users <tor...@li...> > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > Subject: > Torcs-users post from the...@ho... requires approval > From: > tor...@li... > Date: > Thu, 01 Jan 2009 20:03:34 +0000 > To: > tor...@li... > > To: > tor...@li... > > > As list administrator, your authorization is requested for the > following mailing list posting: > > List: Tor...@li... > From: the...@ho... > Subject: FW: Only see brake lights and skid marks > Reason: Message body is too big: 71184 bytes with a limit of 40 KB > > At your convenience, visit: > > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/admindb/torcs-users > > to approve or deny the request. > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > Subject: > FW: Only see brake lights and skid marks > From: > Adam Anonymous <the...@ho...> > Date: > Thu, 1 Jan 2009 22:03:28 +0200 > To: > <tor...@li...> > > To: > <tor...@li...> > > > > > From: the...@ho...: tor...@li...: Only see brake lights and skid marksDate: Thu, 1 Jan 2009 21:36:37 +0200 > > Hi I am a complete newbie.
