Hi, I just installed Torcs 1.3.4 and the SCR patch on a windows7 (64 bit) machine. Installation went fine without a problem. But when I run torcs, after loading the drivers and before switching to the 3d rendered view, the program crashes (see screenshot). It could be a OpenGL driver problem. Then how can I debug it? Is there any kind of logfile I can refer to? I just cross-posted the question on stackoverflow, if someone wants to earn credits: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/43094384/how-to-debug-torcs-1-3-4-scr-on-windows-7 Best Till ------------------------ Dipl. Hi Bernhard, Thanks for the response. I am using TORCS-1.3.7 on Ubuntu 16.04.4. When I run torcs with the “-r” command line option I get the following output and the GUI starts up: Visual Properties Report ------------------------ Compatibility mode, properties unknown. I would appreciate any advice or suggestions on how to troubleshoot this. Thanks. Hi Works here as specified (-r, command line mode only). What TORCS version/patches are you using? Hello, I am trying to train a neural net in the practice mode of TORCS, with only the sensor readings, but have been unable to find a way to run the simulator without a display. I tried using the “-r” command line option, but that does not seem to work for me and the display with the race is still being launched. Is there any way to run the simulator, to race and get the sensor readings, without launching the visuals of the race? Thanks in advance for the help. Regards, Abhinav |

Hi, car1-ow1 has had significant changes in CVS. I would really like to have a car1-ow1 and a car2-ow1. Others will likely prefer two ow1 cars also. (especially if they were to test drive the latest TORCS) |
