I made a cockpit for the existing nashcar-model but tough it doesn't make problems with loading into TORCS it seems to slow down the framerate quite a bit. It can't be the amount of triangles/vertices because the TRB-models have more of those and yet perform much better. Could anyone point out what i might have made wrong e.g. special restrictions, pitfalls with .ac-files?

The second question is about the accc-tool. When converting the said model to .acc the performance is ba bit better, but accc makes holes in the cockpit. When i deleted the triangles which disappeared and replaced them, and tried another conversion other triangles got deleted. Also i find strange that it doesn't seem any logic in this e.g. i have 2 seats which are one model and copied but holes appear on either only one seat or on different locations. Where could be the (real) problem in the model?

Is TORCS 1.3.1 more unstable on some tracks than on others?
I am using ubuntu amd64 with the nvidia 177.82 driver from the repository. I compiled from source and changed the Inferno historic robot to the Inferno robot.
The carset was a wild mixture of historic cars, rallye cars and the supercars.
I searched for a similar thread but I have found none.

I could race on several tracks without any problems but when I started racing on cg-track-2 the game always crashed with the classical:

$LIBDIR/torcs-bin -l $LOCAL_CONF -L $LIBDIR -D $DATADIR $*
The -s option changes nothing.

I tried to experiment, I removed all supercars except one type and ran 12 lap races, then I changed the car type and ran again. They all finished without problems. Then a race with all supercars that crashed. The number of cars seems to affect the stability.

I did another experiment, I started one 32 lap race on Ruudskogen that was problemfree. Then I changed the track to Street-1, closed the game and restarted, the game crashed. I have tried several races on Street-1 and they always crash, sometimes on lap 1, sometimes on lap 30.

I have no trailing ~ anywhere and a driver bug would, I guess, affect all tracks egually.

The tracks that I have completed races on are: e-track 1, 2, 6, cg-track 1, 3, Ruudskogen, Brondehach, a-speedway and Michigan but with the exception of Ruudskogen I have only one test on them.

The tracks that never completes are Street-1 and cg-track-2 and I've tried several times on them.

Have anyone else experienced something similar? Can someone guess on a cause? Is there a solution or workaround? Do I do something wrong?
