If I were a dirty old man, I'd note that the Pebbles cereals are named after Fred's daughter Pebbles, so on a metaphorical level, all of those commercials with Barney tricking Fred out of his cereal are really about Rubble snatching Fred's daughter. I'm just sayin'.

I'm not exactly sure why Fred keeps Barney around...
