It took another 12 years, actually closer to 20 years, of even more severe sanctions (they got progressively worse over time) on Syria to bring down that state, not to mention military interventions in eastern Syria by the US, billions of dollars of military aid from Zionist inspired actors, massacres, false flag chemical attacks, endless bombing by the Israelis.

In 1973 the Syrian army and its Egyptian counterpart had the Zionist enemy defeated save for the massive airlift that rescued Israel (and Sadat’s perfidy).

-1- Where will fresh water come from?

Iranian Hamas wrecked the Gaza aquifer. There is no excess water available from Palestinian Jews. Also, none from the Muslim Authority in Judea & Samaria. This leaves two possibilities:

A pipeline from a water rich Islamic land? The nearby countries are also short, so this would be from where… Turkey? Iraq? Possibly Syria?

Industrial scale desalination plants?
    • What Muslim countries would pay to build them?
    • How would Islam pay the rather steep annual costs?
    • How would Jihadists be kept out? Vital as any infrastructure contaminated with terrorist tunnels and munitions depots will eventually be blown up.

Conceivably desalination could be sited in Saudi Arabia with a short pipe line to deliver the fresh water. However, the Saudis are not going to risk being stuck with the annual bill. Long term funding by Islam as a whole is essential.

The obvious choice is helping large numbers of Muslim squatters leave their colonies Judea, Samaria, and especially Gaza. An honourable and compensated Right of Religious Return to authentic Muslim lands. Not to eternal camps, but to new livelihoods.

Trump’s suggestion for Jordan and Egypt seem unlikely to work. Both are short on resources and have limited economic opportunities. Better choices would be Iran, Qatar, and Turkey. They have more water and jobs for Muslims returning authentic Islamic religious homelands.

The straightforward fact is the Palestinians’ right under international law to attack and attempt to repel a hostile Jewish occupation force, regardless of whether today it falsely operates under the biblical name of “Israel,” instead of as it did a century ago out in the open as Bolshevism in Russia.

It may not technically occupy the United States, yet it exerts such total control over US foreign policy that no animal trainer in the zoo has so much control over the minds of his charges as do the Jews the minds of America’s political class. “Support Israel”? Our politicians don’t so much support Israel as they get down on their knees to obey America’s Jews.

It’s quite sad actually. Syria as a state was the last hold out in the Arabic speaking world. I often wondered how the country managed to make it even this far. There was literally no one supporting its economy except maybe Iran with its oil shipments. Its entire industrial base around Aleppo was stolen and carted off to Turkey. The eastern third has been under US/US proxy occupation. The EU and the US had some of the severest sanctions placed on it. Unlike Russia, which is a huge country where sanctions can be overcome, Syria was too small to withstand the combination of both sanctions and the theft of whatever resources could be used to maintain an economy.

My question is why Russia and China didn’t do more. Russia refused to help defend Syria against constant Zionist bombardment, even though they had air defenses in place. China could have helped out economically. Iran’s responses to constant Zionist provocations were too tepid. Surely they must have known what was going to happen especially considering the precedents in Iraq and Libya.

Also, as far as I know, no state actors ever demanded the withdrawal of US forces from Syria (other than Syria itself) which made possible the theft of Syria’s resources. This was 19th century style rip off imperialism that was supposed to have disappeared with all the international legal conventions introduced in the 20th century. Not only did Syria collapse, international law collapsed with it.

Israel just had 15 months of some of most blatantly genocidal policies in recent memory yet there is hardly a single sanction imposed on it by anyone, eastern powers included. On the contrary it received likely in excess of $50 billion in western assistance. Yet the whole western world and most of the Arabic speaking world ganged up to strangle Syria.

P.S. I’d like to add that the map shown shows the illegally annexed Israeli occupied Jolan Heights (of 1967, since expanded in 2024) as excluded from Syria. It is still legally part of Syria. The passing of time does not make it legal.

Well it does appear to me that the controlled media is perpetuating — what is today a myth — the world outside the U.S. is far from the way the world was 75 years ago. Soon the other neighbourhood kids have a growth spurt and one day the bully realizes he has been left behind in the 6th grade while everyone else has simply moved on. Finally he ‘graduates’ to high school.

Trump’s 1st term unwound these mistakes. Because Iran was violating JCPOA he withdrew the U.S. from it. Then he worked with regional partners to restore containment of Iranian terrorism and aggression. This led to substantial improvements, including the Abraham Accords.

Biden abandoned Trump’s progress, giving billions of dollars to Khamenei. Unsurprisingly, the region deteriorated again as Iranian Hezbollah and Iranian Hamas were emboldened. Biden’s weakness led directly to the Iranian Hamas genocide attack on October 7. Fortunately, Netanyahu recognized Biden’s impotence. He ignored the Veggie-in-Chief and ran the minimum necessary Hostage Rescue SMO.

Trump’s 2nd term will bring back containment of Iranian aggression. The U.S. Congress clearly backs this approach and the House is beginning efforts to sanction the pro-genocide ICC. Will Iranian Hamas be smart? Releasing hostages and laying down arms is their best option. If they keep fighting, they will keep losing. How many of their coreligionists will Iranian Hamas expend as human shields before they capitulate?
