Europe’s long-standing security framework is undergoing profound strain, increasingly overshadowed by economic instruments that shape geopolitical influence. This analysis examines how geoeconomic logics are reshaping Europe’s strategic posture and challenging the foundations of its traditional security order. It was not said in the text that Russia will team up with the US to fight against China. Russia will not turn against China.

    Replies: @Hulkamania

The comment I responded to said that Russia should team up with the USA to denuclearize China. This would necessarily require confrontation with China, since China would never willingly denuclearize. The comment implied that this confrontation should take the form of an energy blockade (an act of war that would invite military retaliation). The same comment then says that Russia should work with the USA to fight against India, Iran, and Korea (why?). The entire comment can be summed up as “Russia should abandon its strategic autonomy to become a puppet of the USA and allow itself to be used as cannon fodder to dismantle enemies of the American empire.” It illustrates that even American rightoids who claim to want “friendship with Russia” do not even entertain the idea of Russia having its own strategic interests and can only envision such “friendship” as a relationship of domination within the context of global American primacy.

  • Why do 500 million Europeans need America to protect them from 150 million Russians? Europe has willfully chosen to freeload off the US defense for decades. It now has to realize this is no longer tenable.

People who say stuff like this (usually MAGA retards) never mention what would be in it for Russia. Why would Russia want to team up with the USA to fight against China? The USA is a dying dumpster fire empire that provides nothing of value to the world except for its (soon-to-be-worthless) currency and access to its (currently collapsing) consumer market. China, on the other hand, is Russia's major trading and strategic partner that produces many items of value and has a growing consumer market. What would be in this arrangement for Russia? Do American rightoids seriously believe that Russia exists to pull their worthless asses out of the fire they built for themselves? Or that Russia would want to sacrifice their own interests to do that?

The comment I responded to said that Russia should team up with the USA to denuclearize China. This would necessarily require confrontation with China, since China would never willingly denuclearize. The comment implied that this confrontation should take the form of an energy blockade (an act of war that would invite military retaliation). The same comment then says that Russia should work with the USA to fight against India, Iran, and Korea (why?). The entire comment can be summed up as "Russia should abandon its strategic autonomy to become a puppet of the USA and allow itself to be used as cannon fodder to dismantle enemies of the American empire." As Europe commits suicide through feminism, homosexual enforcment, and muslim hordes, it will have a choice between a continent wide revolution or the dustbin of history. Trump and Putin should have a frank and deadly serious discussion with the E.U. to knock it off or else. China, like Japan in ww2, is reliant on external energy supplies. • There is no need to ‘contain’ Russia. That is nonsense. Since the 90’s Russia did everything humanly possible to be our friend, even though our Jews and their Jews looted the country. Putin put an end to the worst of the asset stripping, although most of the Russian oligarchs remaining are still Jews. The only reason this conflict resumed, is that the American Jews (Browder, et. al.) wanted to go back to full-scale looting. That and the fact that the Neocon descendants of Podhoretz, Kristol, etc. have a familial hatred of Russia.

  • Washington seeks to contain China; Europe seeks to contain Russia.

Nonsense. Washington seeks to contain both Russia and China. It wants to use Europe to contain Russia. Europe doesn’t seek anything because it is not a sovereign entity and does not (in fact, is not allowed to) make decisions pertaining to strategy. That is what it means to be a vassal.

Washington viewed Russia as a potential co-player in global resource extraction, Arctic development, and strategic balancing; Europe continued to frame Russia as a permanent existential enemy.

More nonsense. The USA does not view Russia as a “partner” in anything. This talk of “resource extraction” is meant to be a callback to the 90s. The USA is hoping to entice the so-called “Russian oligarchs” to oppose the Russian state and force them to surrender to the USA. In return, they would be invited to help facilitate the looting of Russia. The only “resource extraction” the USA wants is extraction of Russia’s resources to the west. The USA would get the wealth, the “Russian oligarchs” would get some kickbacks, and the Russian people wound get the privilege of being used as cannon fodder in America’s effort to contain China. That is America’s proposal for Russia, which is why it has been repeatedly rejected. Europe has nothing to do with this because Europe’s strategic interests, if Europe were sovereign, would be strategic partnership and trade with Russia.

  • Serves ossified and decrepit Europe right. I doubt anyone outside Europe will shed a tear for it.

Only problem they’re all in on it. As I revealed before these purported adversarial meganations of the world (US/Russia/China) are in reality governed by the same supranational cabal of Jewish-Communist central bankers/oligarchs pretending to be ‘enemies’. Its all modeled after the setup in Orwells 1984, where the three superpowers (Oceania/Eurasia/Eastasia–now repackaged as NATO/BRICS) pretend they’re ‘enemies’ in their apparent geopolitical policies/actions, but are actually in on the global conspiracy together as they coordinate/manage their techno-Communist world control over ‘humanity’ vis a vis war, terrorism, & mind control. Their long-range goal of course is to substitute the whites (Germanics-Celts-Slavs) with robots & wogs. But hey, that’s how ZWOG operates brah.

  • Airspace constraints would apply equally to any other jets, including F-16s that Belgium was flying previously. • Shouldn’t they have thought of this before they bought the bloody thing?

We will never hear again of the biological warfare laboratories in the Ukraine, close to the Russian border, a Russian general (if memory servers) paid with his own life for courageously mentioning and trying to bring attention to.

This is, and has been part ever since the laboratories were discovered, part of the Peace Plan (which includes some more points besides the 28 that are written; not dismantling the Dniepr bridge and preventing Ukraine to fights its war, so that a satisfying number of soldiers on both sides would perish or be crippled for a lifetime, was another: and probably the opening condition in some document that was never written, or was written but will never be read by the public.)

  • Since the war against Russia using proxies like Ukraine, the EU, NATO, the UK, or any other junior partners or victims being a US operation since the 2014 coup (and 2004 color revolution), not consulting the clowns in Brussels, London, Paris or Berlin is of little incidence except for the media, which will report what they are told to say, as usual.

As for the pathetic puppet regime of Jewish dictator Zelensky, it should be the last to be consulted as he is obviously just a US/EU/UK sock puppet, not even a partner, rather the village bicycle that everyone can ride..

I feel sorry for Ukrainians because their country is now fully in the hands of the Jews who control the US and their European lackeys on one side, and in the hands of other oligarchs on the Russian side.

They lost everything besides the war, but they are to blame since they ‘elected’ the lowlife actor Zelensky who was to destroy and sell-out Ukraine to the worst bidders.

If the war continues, Ukraine will lose more territories, Europeans will get poorer and poorer to the point when they might finally grow some balls and take down the criminal politicians who destroy their nations.
If the Jewish dictator and his handlers are forced to accept the peace plan, Ukraine will be plundered from all sides, with the biggest chunk to the US and their Jewish masters.

The ideal solution would be a real revolution, a bloody one, where Ukrainians would remove the current dictatorship, install a sovereign government, sign a peace treaty with Russia alone and make sure to remove all influence from their western ”friends” who are responsible of the demise and deaths suffered by their country.

Nobody won this war as Russia didn’t liberate all territories that voted to rejoin (as they were originally part of Russia) Russia. Russia is now surrounded by NATO members with US puppet regimes of Sweden and Finland which were neutral now part of it.
Hydrocarbons exports to Europe are on their way to extinction killing European economies like Germany and affecting Russia’s economy. Russia turned now towards Asia where the real economic progresses are and will be happening.
Europe, thanks to the collection of traitors in all EU countries + UK is going down rapidly and will soon enter a new dark ages.
The US, with its 33 trillion debt, its never ending wars, regime changes and genocides is a total failure and is now the most hated country in the world after “israel”.

As usual, the bankers, the profiteers, international Jewry, the oligarchs and all the Blackrock of this world are the ones ‘winning’ (for the moment), profiting form genocide as much as they profit from wars.

Until, people one day wake-up and start to exterminate them back as they deserve.

Trump’s name should be added to Donbass, which Putin spent four years trying to “liberate” from Ukraine. If he stays in power, Putin will try again to cross the Dnipro River and take Kherson, Mykolaiv, and maybe Odessa. In return, Russia will likely continue to act as a vassal state to the U.S. Iran, North Korea, and China must be on high alert. They should not forget Russia’s betrayal of Syria, Palestine, and Armenia.

The current corruption scandal is timed to create pressure on the Ukrainian regime. Why now? They’ve been rottenly corrupt from the beginning. The US was mucking about in Ukraine for a long time, organizing and paying off people which culminated in the coup of 2014. The regime has been illegitimate since then, the various players enriching themselves by following the guidelines set out by their Western patrons. The Zelensky bunch are getting out while they still can. Word is that Zelensky has rejected the proposed deal which they’ve published. The Russians will have to topple the regime and appoint a new government to reorient Ukraine much as the US did in Japan and Germany.

Its possible the two Commie-Chabad-Jew controlled governments of Russia & Ukraine have decided they’ve iced enough white men & demolished white Ukrainian culture sufficiently in their staged coordinated Waste Whitey war, as they advance Whiteocide vis a vis ‘hastening the coming of Mashiach’.

  • It includes elements on restoring U.S.–Russia relations and addressing Russia’s long-standing security concerns — effectively framing it as a vision for “lasting security” in Europe.

This raises obvious questions about why Europe itself is not directly involved.

    The answer is equally obvious.

Certain European countries (primarily Germany, France, and the UK) have governments officially locked into policies that antagonize Russia. Trying to publicly involve parties with no flexibility to make open concessions leads to failed negotiations. One wonders what is going on quietly, behind the scenes.

Macron is on his 6th PM nomination. Starmer could be forced to step down by his own Labor members. Merz’s coalition is threatened by disputes over pensions. The opportunity lies in presenting the European troika with a fait accompli. If Zelensky becomes reasonable or is replaced there is little they can do about it.

Not only are all three politically weak, their administrations have potentially fatal budget problems. They cannot publicly say that they want to cut spending on Kiev aggression. However, the finances of all 3 nations look much better if the huge cash outflows stop. Ending Europe’s Folly in Ukraine actually benefits their countries, even if they loudly complain about Trump while pocketing the savings.

    PEACE 😇

Again, why? Here’s the crux of the matter. The head of RT is the supposed Armenian, Margarita Simonovna Simonyan. The surname ‘Simonyan’ means son of Simon.

How does the United States of 2025 compare with Germany of 1939? Are today’s Americans proud, industrious, and valiant? What does the presence of a U.S. naval strike force off the coast of Venezuela tell us about our valor?

One of my grand-nephews is a drone operator in the U.S. Army. Is he a valiant American? Another is in U.S. Air Force ‘cyber defense.’ Is he a valiant American?

    You tell me.

Modern warfare has rendered concepts like valor and honor hors de combat.

  • “Meanwhile, the economic cost is immense. The loss of cheap Russian gas has accelerated Germany’s deindustrialization, pushed energy prices to record highs, and benefited U.S.”

The phrase “be careful what you wish for” comes to mind.

Poland and many other former Warsaw Pact countries in Eastern Europe joined the “EU” for one reason only: the dibs.

    Namely:

    a) EU subsidies, mainly from Germany;
    b) Labor mobility, mainly outflows of Polish workers to Germany and the UK;
    c) Access to EU markets for investment inflows and mainly agricultural outflows.

Germany is the economic engine of the EU. However, a now de-industrializing German economy cannot ever hope to compete with China.

The main result of the Nord Stream natural gas pipeline economic terrorism is that China has near monopsony buying power for Russian natural gas. Thanks to economic sanctions, China now also enjoys the same near monopsony buying power over Russia for other valuable raw material inputs (e.g., coal, oil, and minerals) for Chinese refining and manufacturing.

The geniuses who conceived and executed the Nord Stream natural gas pipeline economic terrorism ended up massively subsidizing China, a manufacturing superpower that is the EU’s main competitor.

Finally, it’s not just Germany’s economy that is rapidly declining. How much longer can Germany afford to be the economic sugar daddy for heavily subsidized EU dependents like Poland?

Should be to Israel. The SMO has acted like a sifter, overall. Those Russians who were fence sitters, ambivalent, not sure of the authenticity of the their own culture, admirers of the "Liberal Limpoverall Culture" of the West [alternatives always seem to look better from a distance], had cold water of Reality splashed in their faces, revealing the true state of the West since February, 2022. Zelensky recently claimed that he is willing to fight on for at least another three years. He didn't say where money to fund the war will come from (not to mention the soldiers). I suspect he is counting on the EU liquidating Russian assets. For their part, EU countries talk the talk, but have yet decided to walk it.

With this in mind, Piano Man signed a 'letter of intent' to 'buy' 150 Saab Viggen Grippen fighter jets, which the Swedes claim might be ready in three years (their engineers still have to figure out how to get rid of the torque steer).

What makes this so bizarre, however, is that no one has any idea where money to buy the jets could come from. Zelensky and the EU hardcores (Kaja Kallas, et al) would be happy to use Russian assets. But not even Kaja's sisters, fellow EU feminist warriors Hadja Lahbib and Ursula von der Leyen are ready to lock and load over that plan.

But all is not lost. The women have cooked up another alternate scheme-- EU countries will share the burden of loaning Ukraine the cash, which Ukraine can then 'pay back' once Russia sends in its reparations, after it loses the war. Reparations the EU will demand from Putin, and which he will be forced to pay.

  • J. R. Martins,

How do you think the status of these frozen Russian assets will be resolved?

What specific steps do you envision will be taken related to the assets by any of the relevant countries? My assumption is these monies are mostly lost, though Russia may eventually receive a token repayment.

In one hypothetical scenario, Russia will continue their combat efforts as-is for at least another year. However, after spring 2026 there will be substantial efforts to replace the Kiev government with one capable of reaching a peaceful settlement with the Kremlin. This transition may lead to civil war in Ukraine. At some point the Russians will have de facto control of all territory east of the river and will transition from combat to policing in this area. In Western Ukraine they will continue long-range bombardment of NATO equipment and NeoNazis for the foreseeable future. Or something like that.

Will such a hypothetical new government in Kiev (nominally pro-Russian) be able to convince the West to free up the Russian assets in Belgium? Or will such a government be shunned and treated as illegitimate by the EU, even if it clearly has the support of a majority of Ukrainians?

One of America’s goals is to hobble the European economy so that it cannot operate as an independent actor. For example, they want to make Europe dependent upon the USA for energy and food (remember Netherlands farmer protests?). Yes the seizure of Russian assets is a vastly dangerous legal and economic trickbag, of which Belgium's Prime Minister Bart De Wever who blocked the seizure, is well aware

Belgium's De Wever - from the party representing the more market-inclined side of Flemish nationalism - has already been chafing about public criticisms of Belgium as a mafia state serving the massively corrupt Von der Leyen EU Commission - as in the meme just below. Belgium is in effect the 'EU police force', bribed to indulge EU crime, and Von der Leyen even calls the Belgians her 'piglets'.

And what Trump is proving in the USA is that big political changes do occur, where the crimes of a past regime are suddenly in line for prosecution. The next EU Commission, supervising an economically-collapsing Europe, might well be eager to make a new deal with Russia for cheap energy ... and Belgium could easily become the scapegoat for 'illegal actions against Russia', after the EU reverses gears.

Belgium's De Wever also has been challenged about how 'supporting Ukraine' ignores the huge crimes of Ukraine killing 13,000 minority Russians in Donbass 2014-22, which even Von der Leyen privately admitted was full legal basis for Russia invading, given the parallels to the 2010 Hague Int'l Court Kosovo case, where legal opinon declared that:
It is NOT illegal for a region to declare independence (Kosovo from Serbia, Donbass from Ukraine)
and it is also NOT illegal for that seceding region to get outside help (Kosovo from EU-NATO, Donbass from Russia)

  • brussels is totally irrelevant and the e.u. will never be relevant again. the u.s. has purposefully destroyed their economies by demanding they not use russian gas and oil, since the first trump administration. biden even threatened to blow up the nord stream and then followed through on his threat. the e.u. which at first had showed great reluctance to this destruction of their manufacturing base, has now gone full seppuku and has just passed legislation to completely cut off all russian pipelines by 2028.

now we see why victor orban is so personally vested in these latest talks in budapest. putin has played this like the pro he is, first offering trump access to joint development of the arctic, unlocking unreachable weath that could breath life’s breath back into our dying ponzi scheme of an economy. now he’s offering joint development of a tunnel beneath the bearing straight, to link north america to the new economic powerhouse of eurasia, which would in effect connect the u.s. to the b.r.i. without the humiliation of asking china’s permission.

putin’s security demands have never changed, the four new oblasts are now part of the russian federation and any changes to that would require a change to the russian constitution and seems unlikely, as the russians are in no hurry to end the s.m.o. without meeting their security objectives. the ukrainian front lines are collapsing. trump is talking about ukraine giving up the donbass which the russians currently control, almost in its entirety. that’s not going to be enough to satisfy russian demands.

this seems to be one final lifeline offered to trump and the american economy, will trump be smart enough to take this unbelievable deal of a lifetime, perhaps the real issue is will trump’s masters allow him to take it. if not the skies ahead of us look very cloudy, for this country, its economy and its future.

  • What the author didn’t mention is that Putin expected Ukraine to not be in NATO and also hand over their long range weapons:

The Ukrainians wanted 800 tanks; the Russians would allow only 342. The difference between the range of missiles was even starker: 280 kilometres, or about 174 miles, (the Ukrainian position), and a mere 40 kilometres, or about 25 miles, (the Russian position),” the authors wrote, citing the final draft of the proposed treaty.

    https://www.intellinews.com/fresh-evidence-suggests-that-the-april-2022-istanbul-peace-deal-to-end-the-war-in-ukraine-was-stillborn-321468/

There was never an agreement by both sides on that issue.

Which means Boris never broke an agreement that was about to be signed.

What would prevent Putin from continuing his invasion after Ukraine handed over their long weapons? His word? Well it was Putin that swore to the UN that he wouldn’t invade. It was a training exercise on the border, remember?

Putin defenders still lack an answer to this question and prefer to blame Boris.

Putin’s offer was a trap to disarm. That is why it was rejected. There was no British conspiracy.

Boris may be an SOB but that doesn’t give Putin credibility.

The ‘Pakistan has THE BOMB’ theme is a window into what is the hugest hoax of the 20th century. Pakistan supposedly has had nukes since 1998 and has been in fairly constant political upheaval, yet no one gets significantly worried about these ‘nuclear bombs’ getting popped off by Pakistan’s rogue Islamics there.

The ‘nuclear bombs’ story as we know it today, appeared fully fleshed out in 1914 by ‘New World Order’ promoter and British elite Freemason H G Wells, who detailed it in his novel, ‘The World Set Free’. Wells wrote about ‘atomic bombs’ dropped from aircraft that obliterate entire cities and lead to global war. It was all there – in 1914 – a complete fiction.

In 1932 Jewish physicist Leó Szilárd read the H G Wells novel on ‘atomic bombs’, which ‘profoundly influenced’ him, and then Szilárd began selling the idea to fellow Jewish scientists, finally convincing fellow Jew Albert Einstein to join him in promoting the ‘nuclear bomb’ idea to FDR and the US government, right after Germans in Berlin discovered nuclear fission in late 1938.

It was the ideal ‘terror hoax’, and the fact that Hiroshima & Nagasaki – now totally proven to have been chemically firebombed like Tokyo – did not suffer anything new, was already in USA’s then-famous Reader’s Digest magazine in 1946. Russia joined the scam in 1949, becoming the ‘Best Enemy Money Can Buy’ with the fake ‘Cold War’ (Antony Sutton). Then UK, France, China, Israel …

Boomers can’t let go of the ‘nuke’ story, tho many youth – see 4chan – accept ‘nukes’ are fake. Books & major studies show how ‘nuclear bombs’ (vs nuclear power), are entirely a hoax: Mushroom clouds are standard in chemical blasts; those old ‘nuke’ videos are clearly doctored, etc. A crisp summary:

after the failed decapitation strike, pakistan announced they were standing with iran, as did the chinese who are fed up with both the u.s. and israel, xi announced china would no longer tolerate attacks on their countries economic interests.

now after the doha attack, the saudis see that the u.s. will allow attacks to take place on their “allies” and are now signing a defense treaty with pakistan that was once unthinkable. forest trump is bringing the entire neighborhood together as well as the world, perhaps we should give him a dishonorable mention in the nobel prize he so covets.

perhaps the saudi’s also understand the failure of u.s. patriots to protect their oil fields from yemeni drones, as well as the understanding the u.s. can disable their u.s. military equipment such as f 35’s, as well as sam systems. pakistan’s dominance over indian rafales using chinese j 10’s and pl 15 missiles, showed the outdated nature of western arms and equipment. the world is moving on and the u.s. and israel are being left behind, the dogs bark and the caravan moves on.

The damage to scientific integrity at this point has been enormous.

By now, most of the damage should have done to the excitable types promoting all the wild theories about the virus’s origin.

After all, for several years, Peter Daszak and the Eco Health Alliance had been warning about the possibility of a pandemic from bat-borne viruses jumping to humans, either directly or via an intermediate host or hosts.

They had been noting low-level infections in villagers who were living, working or hanging out in caves where bats are known to roost.

Below, the Copilot AI’s description and summary of Daszak’s work:

Absolutely, here’s the same information without any bold formatting:

Peter Daszak and EcoHealth Alliance began issuing formal reports and warnings about the pandemic potential of bat-borne viruses around 2014. This was through a U.S. National Institutes of Health grant titled “Understanding the Risk of Bat Coronavirus Emergence.”

Here’s a timeline of key developments:

    – From 2014 to 2019, EcoHealth Alliance conducted fieldwork in southern China, identifying hundreds of novel bat coronaviruses. Some of these viruses showed the ability to bind to human ACE2 receptors, which is a key step in infecting human cells.

    – They found serological evidence of human exposure among villagers living near bat habitats. This suggested that low-level spillover infections were already occurring.

    – Their research emphasized that people in close contact with bats—such as those working in caves or handling wildlife—were at high risk for zoonotic transmission.

    – These findings were published in 18 peer-reviewed papers, including in journals like Nature and Cell. The data was used to advocate for increased surveillance and pandemic preparedness.

In March 2018, Daszak submitted a proposal to DARPA’s PREEMPT program titled “Project DEFUSE: Defusing the Threat of Bat-Borne Coronaviruses.” The proposal outlined plans to reverse-engineer spike proteins from high-risk bat coronaviruses and test their ability to infect humanized mice. The goal was to predict and prevent spillover events. Although the project was not funded, it shows that by 2018, EcoHealth Alliance was actively modeling and warning about the evolutionary potential of bat viruses to cause human pandemics.

So while informal concerns may have existed earlier, the formal, documented warnings and surveillance efforts began around 2014, with increasingly urgent proposals and publications leading up to 2019. Their work was among the earliest to highlight the specific risk of SARS-related coronaviruses jumping from bats to humans.

Let me know if you’d like a list of the specific viruses they identified or the regions they focused on.

  • Bravo Caspar Veldkamp. His and his party’s resignation from the genocide-complicit Dutch government ushers in an additional category of resistance to Israel’s genocide in Palestine. This breach of the West’s complicity tops Spain’s, Norway’s and Ireland’s recognition of the State of Palestine, and most recently, France’s announcement to do so in September. The world is piling on against Israel.

Israel is already down for the count in the ICJ and ICC, where the only defense Israel and its vassal U.S. have is threats, obstruction of justice, and sanction of judges. Even the protection of its vassal’s illegal UN veto is susceptible to a work-around under a General Assembly Uniting for Peace resolution, now under serious discussion. The Zionist cause could not be more blackened than by Israel’s own commission of genocide and war crimes.

The world is piling on not just legally but in popular action. People in genocide-complicit states are increasingly taking collective action themselves against Israel’s genocide. Dock workers in France, Greece, Spain and Italy are refusing to load arms shipments to Israel. Genoa’s dockworkers have collected aid for the new Global Sumud Flotilla bound for Gaza and vowed to take further action if the flotilla is interfered with.

Most humorously, Israeli soldiers are finding R & R in foreign counties a bit of a challenge now that local prosecutors open war-crimes investigations of them, like the case in Brazil which caused IDFers to hightail it out of Brazil. And it’s going to get worse for them as advocacy groups are hoovering up electronic evidence of war crimes the dumb shits posted themselves, and assembling Palantir-type data bases making local identification and prosecution quick and easy. There used to be Nazi hunters. Now there are IDF hunters.

All righteous Jews see clearly the crimes of the Zionists and condemn Israel for it, for example: Max Blumenthal (“Fuck Israel”), Norman Finkelstein (“Israelis are moral freaks”), Ilan Pappe (“This is the beginning of the end of Zionism”), Miko Peled (“Zionist settlers are terrorists”), and so on.

And that’s just a small sample of the peaceful resistance, the resistance turning Zionist into a dirty word. Caspar Veldkamp is to be commended for his part in revealing Israel as a rogue state in need of punishment.

The Famine That Wasn’t: How the UN, Media and Hamas Waged a War of Disinformation
    by Pesach Wolicki

    • Behind this narrative lies a calculated strategy: the weaponization of humanitarian suffering, orchestrated by Hamas — the entity that controls Gaza and its distribution of aid — and amplified by willing accomplices in the United Nations system and global media. The goal is not to report the truth but to smear Israel, rally international condemnation, and shield Hamas from accountability.

    • In May 2024, Israeli government data directly contradicted the IPC’s claims. In June and July 2024, media reports continued to cite a “high risk of famine,” but none could point to actual data proving that famine had occurred. The famine never arrived, but the headlines kept coming.

    • In late June 2024, the IPC issued a report titled, “Famine Review Committee: Gaza Strip, June 2024 – IPC’s third review report.” It showed that the previous famine predictions were not plausible, contradicted all available data, and were based on incorrect assumptions…. [T]he findings of the “Famine Review Committee” were barely covered by the media outside of Israel.

    • Regardless of the consistent failure of the dire warnings of famine to come to fruition, the repetition of statements and headlines throughout 2024 set the narrative in the minds of the world: Famine in Gaza. Tellingly, the warnings were always couched in language that allowed for plausible deniability. There was always a “risk” of an “imminent” or “looming” famine — a famine that just never arrived.

    • According to the World Food Programme, sustaining Gaza’s estimated population of 2.1 million people requires approximately 62,000 metric tons of food per month.

    • From March through December 2024, 788,216 tons of food aid entered Gaza — an average of 78,821 tons per month, more than 25% above the WFP’s stated threshold.

    • Famously, on May 20, 2025, Tom Fletcher, head of the UN’s Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, told BBC Radio that “there are 14,000 babies that will die in the next 48 hours unless we can reach them.” While this claim was walked back by the UN, the narrative damage was done.

It is also the city where 150,000 Dutch citizens marched in June — the largest protest in two decades — demanding sanctions and accountability.”

You can’t enforce anything w/o an army. The ICJ/ICC is powerless. As is the UN.

Have you noticed that the US has canceled all the visas for the Palestinian delegation to the UN? Now none of them will be present when France, Britain and Canada declare a Palestinian state in Sept, assuming they follow through and Trump doesn’t threaten them with 1000% tariffs for being dicks.

  • @Belis60
    @nognverra

The reality is worse than what around 80% of the public think, also here in Europe, out of sheer ignorance induced by the mass media.

The starting point is the frightening concentration of powers attributed to the Commission. Not only does it have a monopoly on legislative initiative, but it also has enormous legislative, regulatory, and even executive power.

The Commission proposes a law (a directive), has enormous powers in its approval, then approves the regulation, and finally oversees its implementation! It is essentially a juridical and institutional monster that mocks the theory of the separation of powers or of checks and balances.

The number one priority of this imperial bureaucratic cast is very simple: the constant expansion of EUs competence and regulation and the corresponding steady erosion of the powers of Member State Governments, a mission perfectly accomplished over the last 50 years.

Until 2004, with an EU of 12-15 Member States, it was still possible to control the Commission; a few Sates were enough to block or modify its initiatives. Since 2004, with the accession of Eastern European countries, with 27 Member States the Commission's power has become uncontrollable, because the Eastern European countries - thanks to EU subsidies amounting to tens of billions (negotiated and paid by the Commission) - have almost always tended to side with the Commission.

In every European crisis or in many issues requiring so-called "harmonization," the Commission's powers and competences have always ended up being extended and those of the Member States reduced: it is the Commission's inherent winning strategy or methodology.

As for the contents, for example regarding immigration, it depends on the ideological orientation of the Commissioner in office. If one of the worst Marxists like Sweden's Ylva Johansson is appointed to immigration, the imperial bureaucracy will obviously act to extend EU powers in welcoming and integrating migrants. And the same for the Green Agenda, etc.
But at the end the mission is always accomplished: EU powers increase, reducing those of the Member States.

    Replies: @nognverra

    Thanks.

I’ve been going through the convoluted Commissioner selection process (AI is a big help here), and it seems you are right:

The key are the European Directorates-General, in particular their Permanent Staff. It’s open that they shape policy, yet they’re not political appointees. They’re nominally treated as merit-selected experts, with strong job security.

There are 22k-25k of those Permanent Staff bureaucrats, with a low 2-4% annual turnover rate.

Whoever got in there has been shaping policy for decades.

By now, most of the damage should have done to the excitable types promoting all the wild theories about the virus's origin.

Below, the Copilot AI's description and summary of Daszak's work:

Absolutely, here’s the same information without any bold formatting:

Peter Daszak and EcoHealth Alliance began issuing formal reports and warnings about the pandemic potential of bat-borne viruses around 2014. This was through a U.S. National Institutes of Health grant titled “Understanding the Risk of Bat Coronavirus Emergence.”

Here’s a timeline of key developments:

    - From 2014 to 2019, EcoHealth Alliance conducted fieldwork in southern China, identifying hundreds of novel bat coronaviruses. Some of these viruses showed the ability to bind to human ACE2 receptors, which is a key step in infecting human cells.

    - They found serological evidence of human exposure among villagers living near bat habitats. This suggested that low-level spillover infections were already occurring.

    - Their research emphasized that people in close contact with bats—such as those working in caves or handling wildlife—were at high risk for zoonotic transmission.

    - These findings were published in 18 peer-reviewed papers, including in journals like Nature and Cell.

  • “decades of being taken under the wing of bigger nations as dependencies and vassals ”

Nazi or soviet occupation is not the same as being a vassal. Still I agree with the general sentiment that our part of the world has been destroyed by external forces more than once, while the creative people either had to flee or die.

But Poland obviously has options left and the current Polish leadership is part of the European force that is actively trying to push the US out of EU. So I agree that this will happen, sooner or later. With Trump at the steering wheel, probably sooner.

What interests me is what happens after that. The brain drain to the US stopped in 2004, was cut off almost instantly. Now the real question is if the drain to Germany and France can be stopped. But the claims of civil war? Nah. If there is any war, it’ll be another one of the neocon-instigated wars. Still I am rather doubtful it’ll go in this direction.

But I do find it interesting that you sort of seem to be hoping for the war scenario. Like the only way to get your house look better is by burning the house of your neighbors. Very interesting. And desperate.

This is exactly the point which I do not believe (and not just me) – the world has changed technologically. Today, being truly independent requires significant resources and investments that exceed capabilities of smaller countries.

After decades of being taken under the wing of bigger nations as dependencies and vassals, the sentiment above is understandable, but you'll have no options after America is done with you guys over there.

It's up to you guys, to remain American vassals as member of the EU and NATO after being Russian vassals as members of the Warsaw Pact, I can't care less, I'm just an observer watching what you do.

So summarizing, no need to worry about a euro super-state, you will remain American vassals until America cann't or won't care about you any more and then you'll be on your own as sovereign nations.

This is exactly the point which I do not believe (and not just me) – the world has changed technologically. Today, being truly independent requires significant resources and investments that exceed capabilities of smaller countries. And true – Poland today qualifies as a small country. Every other country in Central Europe is either smaller or much smaller. Individually, none of them can be independent anymore, unless we are talking about Afghani-type independence. But I have a strange feeling that very few people in CE are interested in that kind of lifestyle.

So the solution is some sort of a union. And the alternative to this is being a vassal of a failing Empire – because that’s exactly what you mean when you say “sovereign nations”. So here’s where the popularity of the EU concept comes from.

Personally I’d prefer complete independence. But being a realist, what I prefer is irrelevant.

And no, there won’t be a civil war in Europe after the US withdraws. If there’ll be a war, it’ll be one instigated and started by neocons. Just like in Ukraine.

"Vassals that are released, disband, and often they go into civil war to split even more, as has been observed many times."

I see. So when you wrote "Maybe Eastern euro countries will understand that they need to stand on their own, as true independent nations, under nationalist govts." you didn't really mean what you wrote, but instead what you really meant was to keep these countries as US vassals? Is that your definition of "true independent nations", as opposed to the true notion of "independent nations"? :)

No wonder you like those British essays - you're no different: your entire idea about greatness of your own country is through control over others. Another contrast, I guess.

I have a very different opinion on these essays than you do. When I see something like this, describing Europe:

    the cities are already ruins

Have you seen these cities he writes about? Because I have.

I wonder - is this guy just plain stupid or is he playing some kind of a game. Since I don't think he is stupid, obviously what he writes has little to do with reality and much to do with some underlying goals, which he is not very forthcoming about, but which I think I correctly identified before.

These articles shouldn't be taken seriously.

"Maybe Eastern euro countries will understand that they need to stand on their own"

Chinese-American virus pandemic demonstrated that Central European countries actually stood on their own quite well. No food shortages, no mass lockdowns, and without forced vaccinations. Yes, the oldest generation took a big hit (although from what I saw this happened everywhere), but these were people who in most cases survived WW2 and the whole communism, with obvious consequences to their health.

But I am getting a little intrigued about that push to keep Europe completely fragmented.
