Hi, Honestly I wanted to reply earlier but do not know how to. I did a retry all over again two days ago and it has been working fine in the last 5 attempts. Thank you. -- Sent From UX Bruno Cornec wrote: Hello, Zulkefli Aris (Yahoo) via Mondo-devel said on Tue, Feb 18, 2025 at 06:47:47AM +0000: I am having issues restoring from Mondo archive created. I see that you restore in a VMware VM without LVM setup, while it's seems that the original machine was different. The file i-want-my-lvm seems empty, thus not recreating the LVM expecting, but I don't understand why there is a mismatch as I have no clue about how the original system was configure. Also I rebuilt a Rocky 9 version of the latest mondo 3.2.3 + mindi 3.0.3 for you to test at: http://www.mondorescue.org/ftp/rocky/9/x86_64/ to see whether it changes anything. Hello Pop Marin, I'm glad to hear you solved your problem, however, I don't think it was from me. I am just an old bloke who has forgotten more than I ever learned, so thank you for your reply, but it was unfortunately not me who helped you. I am usually the one who goes online begging for help, which is freely given and I thank the people who give their time to help others. Lovely talking to you Pop, Rodney Jackson On 16/2/25 02:58, mpopHoinareala via Mondo-devel wrote: > Hi there, > > I found today on web your answer for me on > https://sourceforge.net/p/mondo/mailman/mondo-devel/?viewmonth=202502 > > After I remove mondo & mindi and other and I reinstalled mondo and > mindi and busybox-mindi was problem with generate boot+data disks. > > But I find EXTRA_SPACE options on mindi.conf and problem is resolved. > So, I recommend you to set default to 300000. Hi there, I found today on web your answer for me on https://sourceforge.net/p/mondo/mailman/mondo-devel/?viewmonth=202502 After I remove mondo & mindi and other and I reinstalled mondo and mindi and busybox-mindi was problem with generate boot+data disks. But I find EXTRA_SPACE options on mindi.conf and problem is resolved. So, I recommend you to set default to 300000. For me only this value working. Thank you very much! I love this MondoRescue! All the best, Pop Marin |

THis there is a regression with cp --parents. Iv'e replaced that call with tar instead (as done already way back in 2007 for other cp --parents in mindi, but this one was left). You have packages to test here: http://www.mondorescue.org/ftp/debian/12/ Let me know if they fix your issue.
