Hi,

this remotely reminds me of an error I encountered some time ago. I 
discussed it here on the list, but at the end I had to fix it with a 
local patched copy of mindi. Works good since then.

In fact, I can just get the prompt

BOOT:

but nothing else .

I tried to use "interactive" 
(http://www.mondorescue.org/docs/mondorescue-howto/overview-linuxbackup.html) 
but it is not found)

I feeI that some tools/files are missing. Is there a list somewhere of 
what files I should find into mindi.iso CD ?

Hello,

Just to tell that I also tried to copy syslinux.cfg at the CD root and 
this was OK.
The boot goes until a root command line available.

As far as I can see :

  * the log file /tmp/oid/log doesn't exist
  * the keyboard is not the french one and no keybd command available to
    change it. For me it is a big issue 😂

To resume, here is what is in my mindi.iso :

That rings a bell. 
Try adding the syslinux.cfg at the root dir as well.

But I don't know what config file is missing while syslinux.cfg is 
present under EFI/BOOT and EFI.

I'm trying to understand and decode what does /usr/sbin/mindi ...

Note : my environment is

Essayez de mettre ce fichier sous le répertoire BOOT pour voir ce qu'il
se passe. Il me semble avoir reçu des patches pour mindi, mais il y a
longtemps déjà que j'avais intégré mais pas testé complètement sur lap
branche 3.3. Je dois me remettre sur tout cela après autant de temps
sans le faire et j'ai un peu oublié, mais c'est une bonne opportunité de
le faire.

à priori, j'ai pu corriger l'erreur.

Dans mindi 3.0.2, j'ai remplacé la ligne 2273

    cp $LDLINUXE64/../libutil.c32 $efidir 2>> $LOGFILE || Die "Cannot
    copy $LDLINUXE64 to $efidir). Did you run out of disk space?"

par :

    cp $(dirname $LDLINUXE64)/libutil.c32 $efidir 2>> $LOGFILE || Die
    "Cannot copy $LDLINUXE64 to $efidir). Did you run out of disk space?"

J'ai relancé une sauvegarde et tout c'est bien passé sans erreur (je 
n'ai pas encore testé la gravure et le boot du CD ISO 1 généré).

Est ce bien un bug dans le code de mindi ?

Depuis je rencontre un problème avec mindi qui semble vouloir utiliser 
un fichier comme répertoire :
