Hi, I haven't checked your logs in detail, but on a first look it looks quite similar to a problem I was having after debian upgrade. Take a look at this email: https://sourceforge.net/p/mondo/mailman/message/37186486/ There is a patch attached which resolved the issue for me. Give it a shot, maybe it will help you too. Hi Bruno etal, I hope that you are all well. I have not been on the forum asking questions for a long time but the subject line says it all. But I have been following the forum I have upgraded to Xubuntu 22.04.1 LTS from 20.04 LTS I do not upgrade until .1 version is released. The 1st system I needed to increase the size of the file in the mindi.conf file so that I did not fail with no free space error EXTRA_SPACE= 786432 #12 x 65536 (2^16) This generated the 1st ISO with the size > the 3.9GB i.e. larger than a DVD but I assumed that I could convert to a bootable USB to rebuilt if necessary. The 2nd system I needed to increase to 16 x 65536 still an error at the beginning no free space. 2A) I noticed that when backing up on another system that space was being used on the root drive during the Mindi creation. Therefore using GParted, I increased the size of the root partition to generate more free space from 5GB to 11GB. This was quite laborious because I needed to reduce of one partition, then the extended partition, then move /home to create more space for /root 2B) since the error seemed to occur during the beginning of setting up the Mindi ISO part, I thought that I would use the /W option in order to not create the mindi.ISO as part of backup. But this failed with the same error. So I am wondering where do I go from here. I do not want to upgrade my personal nfs-server which used as an archival server because I would loose all access to the ability to make backups. I am attaching 3 files mindi-conf.txt i.e.1st system mindi-conf-mcg.txt 2nd system the log file the latest log file as tar.gz If you require, I can supply copies of the appropriate script files that I have generated so that I have the ability run backups weekly , automatically using cron. I have other questions but they can hold to later. Best Wishes Jim Robinson full moniker:= James D. Robinson as in the help notes and yes as you can see I am still using Mondorescue after many years. |
