Hi, this Thread is old, but I want to add something Am 05.04.20 um 01:21 schrieb Bruno Cornec: > > Could you try to use the recit detailed here: > http://trac.mondorescue.org/wiki/Documentation#Manualrestoration > If that doesn't help, let me know. > The afio command is not complete, it should be: afio -ivZ -P lzop /cdrom/archives/13.afio.lzo But I also have a question: How do I recreate big files that are backuped using slices? Thanks in advance Martin |

The last current published version is 3.2.2 which is alas 4 years old. There are test versions of the next 3.3.0 available. This will become the next stable version and new fixes will be based on that code. This is the branch receiving patches at the moment. I need to incorporate some patches received for Debian in this version before publication. Wrt support, this is Free Software (GNU GPL v2 licensed) so this is supportded by the community. Some companies used to sell services around that, but I've not heard anything recently. This ML can be used to report issues with the SW and this community can provide help. If you need a more formal support, then you'd need to contract someone to provide it. Feel free to provide more details on what you expect when you mention the term support. Hope that clarifies, Bruno. -- HPE WW FLOSS Technology Strategist http://www.hpe.com/engage/opensource Open Source Profession, WW Linux Community Lead http://github.com/bcornec FLOSS projects: http://mondorescue.org http://project-builder.org Musique ancienne? http://www.musique-ancienne.org http://www.medieval.org |

Hello, I have successfully installed Red Hat 6 on a new Dell Precision 7740 laptop using UEFI. I wanted to use mondo to take an image of it, then restore it, but it does not work. I believe the "nvme" driver is not part of the mondo boot environment, so my attempt to "nuke" it fails because it can't find the nvme device; named something like nvme0n1. Is there a way to force the nvme driver to be installed at mondo boot time? If not, can I load it via expert mode? My issue stems from OE that we deliver that was fine on previous dell laptops, which were legacy boot only. Now we purchased EFI only laptops, that have nvme devices, and my production mondo OE image is not fully compatible. I was hoping to install a fresh RHEL 6 install on the new laptop, then restore all the data from the previous mondo image to that same laptop, then reboot it it and see if it still works. If so, I could mondo that combined laptop and use it, with EFI boot. Thanks for any help, advice, assistance. Life seemed easier pre-EFI. Mike |
