    In some ways you are correct, but gerrymandering, by both parties, is State based. The problem of corruption, using legal donations is universal, but the players are definitely different locally, Statewide and Nationally. Healthcare in the USA is double other developed countries, with consistently worse outcomes, often because without insurance you get no care. US insulin prices $300, England $30, Africa $3, for the same thing. The US has come down from $600, not very long ago.

    Can’t tell you how many times I’ve had this conversation with the lady of the house. She has Fox programming on every moment I’m not there to turn tv off. Can’t pull her off her belief that Fox is an conservative channel. I only watch internet band biographies for the most part.

    I am not in a position to dispute your 96% claim. I thought the lab record in Wuhan said it was a match. But, in either case State criminal behavior, very difficult to prove, cannot be ruled out. Eight years between 2012 1nd 2020, but no one in health care was looking for, much less identifying this beast in the public sector. So this virus could have been killing people before it was noticed and identified in Wuhan.

Humula objected to the US military presence in Peru and was suspected of ties to Hugo Chávez. This concerned the US, a primary recipient of Peru’s exports. Using radio and TV, the US embassy launched its considerable resources to undermine Humala. Humala lost the election in 2006. He then won in 2011, beating Keiko Fujimori. But by 2011, Humala had established himself as a candidate of the neoliberals, someone that the US saw as harmless and useful.

    The US appointed a new ambassador to Peru this year, Lisa Kenna, a former advisor to US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, a nine-year veteran at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), and a US Secretary of State official in Iraq. Just before the election, Ambassador Kenna released a video, in which she spoke of the close ties between the US and Peru and of the need for a peaceful transition from one president to another. But, Keena also assisted Trump in his efforts to dig up dirt on Biden, through the Ukraine.

    In his prison cell former President Fujimori has supported the election challenge with his cell phone and help from his conservative party and the CIA. The Fujimori team had assembled assembled hundreds of lawyers before the vote, anticipating the possibility of a Castillo victory and the need to tie him up in the courts. The white collar legal army put in place is a racist lawfare strategy; their entire game has been to invalidate the votes of Peru’s indigenous communities.

    Pedro Castillo continues to hold the streets. The crowds do not want their election to be stolen. But the US Embassy is directing darker forces in another classic US interference in the election of a sovereign country.

    At about 4:15 Fauci says - "where there would be an increased risk of the vaccine not being as effective, as it originally was" (i.e. - by way of the unvaccinated getting sick and circulating mutations). But he has this precisely backwards - no? What about the Israeli report that shows (quoting myself from my attached July 13th email of 2:51 p.m.): "exposure to a wild covid infection, ..... offers 7x the efficacy against infection/reinfection vs. vaxx"? Doesn't this show that those that are vaccinated harbor the seeds of the vaxx-immune-escape that Fauci is worried about (as he should be worried about), and not the unvaccinated?

    Unfortunately his statement on HCQ usage in Africa is false. The strain of malaria in Tanzania is cloroquine resistant. Additionally Africans do not take malaria prophylaxis. There are other drugs approved for that purpose but none are recommended long term and are typically only taken by short term expats.

    For som time here. it was being claimed that Africa was Covid free, or suffering low death rates. Because of their pandemic experiences they do have better testing, tracing and isolation policies in place. But there are still infections in the region.

    This has been written after the 2002-2003 SARS epidemic was over. Baric reports that they succeeded in reassembly of SARS virus. As you see David Martin omits the year 2003 date to make an impression that the paper from which he quotes (above in Italic) came from something before the epidemic. In the next sentence "On April 19, 2002 – the Spring before the first SARS outbreak in Asia" he is back to 2002, so a reader has impression that everything what he sees is still happening before the SARS epidemic of 2002. Again David Martin deceptively misleads.

    Why is he doing it? The title of the document "The Fauci/COVID-19 Dossier" with a statement that "This document is prepared for humanity by Dr. David E. Martin." Is he suffering from the delusion of grandeur or is somebody paying him. After all there is a considerable research put into this document. There are some useful information one can get from his effort. But why does he mislead and is deceptive?

    I hope that somebody will disassemble his document further tough it won't have much impact on adherents he gained via Youtube videos. They ain't no readers. Just look at yourself, Paul Craig Roberts. There's no fool like an old fool.

    Not being sarcastic, but near as I can tell, positive means not negative money. Bank credit is negative money.

    Private corporate banking creates "bank credit" from nothing, and then when it returns to the ledger it disappears. It is a positive at first, and then a negative. The positive and negative cancel out into nothingness. What came from nothing returns to nothing. Private banks create and destroy money, they don't intermediate existing (positive) money.

    Positive money would be "pre-existing" and savers would loan to borrowers. The money never goes negative and disappears. OK, never is a strong word, there has to be some extinguishing loans, typically at the Treasury level, to then drain the supply to prevent inflation.

    The colonial system of the U.S. was BILLS OF CREDIT, along with some debt free issuance. The money supply was mostly positive.

    Bills of Credit were an issuance from state authority, typically a state bank, and then said credit would stay in the money supply to do useful work. When Bills of Credit were recalled, the money supply would be drained by taxes and fees. Or, the money supply could be drained by not spending debt free into the commons. Benjamin Franklin's letters give insight into the bills of credit, where they debated when to issue more, or not, depending on economic circumstances.

    It doesn't matter whether you like it or not. All of life is a hierarchy, and the money system is a control system at the top of said hierarchy. Gravity makes you fall down, and the money system is a control grid. Deal with it.

    The question that should occupy mind space, is how to codify the hierarchy and control systems of civilization.

    To preface this comment, I was a patent examiner for 7 years and have been a patent agent for 20 years.

    That the Patent Office grants patents for viruses is no indication that viruses actually exist.

    First, Patent Offices have no laboratory facilities and they experimentally check absolutely nothing. The Examiners rely entirely on the written submission of the Applicant and on the patent and scientific literature to assess the merits of the patent application.

    Second, Patent Examiners usually have post-graduate degrees, and depending on the subject matter area, the most advanced degree can be a Bachelor's, Masters or Doctorate. For biotechnology, most, if not all, Examiners have a Doctorate. However, almost all Examiners have little to no experience in the field beyond their schooling.

    Third, Examiners have time quotas per case, which means that even if an Examiner was inclined to do a thorough job of examining the science, it would be impossible.

    Fourth, the primary task with which the Examiner fills the time quota is to search the literature to see if the claimed invention is novel and non-obvious. Correctness of description is not something the Examiner focuses on and, unless there is a glaring mistake, the Examiner will not usually catch it.

    The collection of items one to four above means, in a practical sense, that Patent Offices accept without discussion the scientific dogma in which they have been indoctrinated and largely accept without discussion that the description set forth in a patent application is correct and truthfully put forward.

    In the case of viruses, it is scientific dogma that viruses exist and Examiners have been inculcated in that dogma without the time or facilities to challenge that dogma even if they wanted to or were allowed to by the Patent Office brass. Therefore it is completely unsurprising that the Patent Office would grant patents on viruses and parts thereof, even if viruses do not actually exist.

    The question of whether viruses exist begs the question do we even exist. Viral structure and DNA sequence are mapped and studied for both viruses and humans.

    In all things under Capitalism, the person or institution with the deepest pockets prevails, at least initially. But eventually the truth has a way of emerging after about fifty years. The truth about leaded gasoline and tobacco use took that long to emerge. The corrupting influence is Corporate profits, which keeps glyphosate on the market presently.   • First I would like to thank PCR and Unz for opening up discussion on this topic, a rarity with this once very important voice for truth and human ethics., whose growing paranoia has some justification, if sometimes overblown. I offer the following additional points to this discussion

    Trump had no patience for government rules or bureaucracy and “fast tracked” vaccines, even as he downplayed those risks. On any given day, true to form, he might blame China, or deny that Covid-19 was anything worse than the flue. That is certainly true for many people that tested positive.

    All drugs, surgeries and treatments for health problems incur risk. Normal CDC testing evaluates those risks against the benefits to approve or disapprove a procedure, vaccine or drug. It was Trump’s idea to circumvent these practices and his followers that resist vaccination more often. As far as I know Trump was never vaccinated, even though he tested positive at one point.

    Bio-weapons labs are putting the human population at grave risk. The 1918 pandemic was traced to a Rockefeller Research facility. Post 9-11 Anthrax came from a US lab. Some believe lyme diease epidemic also originated in a US lab. There are incurable smallpox variants stored in these labs. Like nuclear weapons manufacturing, they need to be shut down, by international treaty, for the sake of mankind. Otherwise these problems will get worse and worse.

    Undertakers in various parts of the world have been overwhelmed by Covid-19, leading to mass graves in parts of the world, especially those targeted for sanctions by the USA, which denies medical supplies to those in need. Maybe all the news we received is made up in a studio, but I doubt it. It might have been a deliberate government weapon, but far more likely an unfortunate, unnecessary accident and even possibly a mutated natural bat virus first identified in 2012. Only, honest transparency, a rarity in modern “democratic” life, can resolve this question.

    The only treatments for new pandemics require strict testing, tracing and lock-downs. Effective, but intrusive. Contrary to what right wing zealots claim, masks, though imperfect, help reduce infection. But isolation of known infections is the most effective treatment and countries which practiced these measures quickly recovered. There was little if any difference between outcomes in cooperative and uncooperative States. Consistent, national policies are required and regions with high air traffic are more vulnerable. These practices are kinda like tyranny, yet the only effective tools available until Trump’s vaccines came along.

    If its all fake, to promote fear, it involves every government in the world, including countries with a better track record of transparency than the USA, like Scandinavia. While all Governments seek to portray themselves in the most positive light possible, and there is plenty of sordid human history, it makes no sense to deliberately kill and treat people simultaneously, to promote fear and obedience. The tools available to the health care industry in these circumstances are very limited until vaccines are developed. Development of these vaccines in so many countries with starkly different political systems lead a rational person to conclude they are the only reasonable alternative, requiring cutting edge big science all over the world. That said, all new technology, comes with unknown risks, that can take time to understand. While many companies seek to profit by covering up risks, that is not a government inspired grand conspiracy. Thalidomide was a nastier example, which led to better testing practices. Our government tests to define and reduce those risks. Trump cut that red tape, which increased risks.

    The FIRE sector and fellow travelers (the deep state), is more than just "bankers."

    Also, the Federal Reserve is the tail on the dog, not the dog. The private bank system creates credit at the moment you show up to become hypothecated. Banks find reserves from other banks on the overnight market, up to the last minute, and at the lowest cost they can find. The FED discount window is only used as a last resort.

    The FED does monetize public debts indirectly, as TBills end up on the FED's ledger. This action is called "expanding the ledger." QE is merely the buying of TBills from banks, and swapping dollars.

    This is similar to you swapping from savings to your deposit accounts, with no net change to the ledger at the private bank level. However, it is a change in risk profiles, as the TBills and MBS and other paper is bought by the FED at face value.

    The FED is not really the tip of the pyramid, it is a "system" or money trust of private banks, where their reserves are linked up by law... the Federal Reserve Act.

    Off shoring of jobs was done purposefully to then make "arbitrage" on Chinese debt-free labor. Green mailers like (((Carl Icahn))) would borrow "credit" from his buddies and then attack American Industry to move off shore. The FED was not involved in creating credit directly, and only acted as an adjunct and post facto to the private "finance capital" system.

    I've been an employer for decades and have always done it under a corporate name. You are conflating the huge corporations like Apple and Google with the average small business. The large corporations exist because the legal system is bought and paid for by them. The small business owner has the expense overhead of a corporation with all its reporting and rules but gets very little benefit under the law. The reason to have a corporation is to satisfy gov't regulations and the banking and insurance sectors that won't do business with you unless you have a corp.

    Unions were a good idea 100 years ago but are now just an extortion mechanism for a small segment of the population that's unionized. Unions only work when the bulk of the population isn't unionized so they can extract above average pay and benefits that the consuming public gets to pay for. If everyone were unionized, there would be no one left to take advantage of.

    Property taxes support local governments, especially schools, so they cannot be eliminated without some other source of income. Schools are vital to real long term productivity.

    California capped it, primarily intending to protect the elderly, who do not live forever. But the unintended consequence became the largest beneficiaries of the law are Corporations, which can live forever. Conservative Courts awarded that Prop 13 benefit to Corporations, as part of a more than hundred year campaign to provide Corporations the same rights as human beings. Thus, property taxes on the Bank of America building cannot be raised more than 1% a year in perpetuity.

    Property taxes support local governments, especially schools, so they cannot be eliminated without some other source of income. Schools are vital to real long term productivity.

    California capped it, primarily intending to protect the elderly, who do not live forever. But the unintended consequence became the largest beneficiaries of the law are Corporations, which can live forever. Conservative Courts awarded that Prop 13 benefit to Corporations, as part of a more than hundred year campaign to provide Corporations the same rights as human beings. Thus, property taxes on the Bank of America building cannot be raised more than 1% a year in perpetuity.

    There should be no such thing as property tax. Local gov't should provide far fewer services to reduce the amount of money they need. Some cities have outsourced almost all their services to private contractors that get paid for services rendered.

    For example : All schools should be private and funded by the parents of children attending. There wouldn't be any school boards to ram their favorite political agenda down parent's throats. Water and sewer service should be metered and paid for by what's used. Street maintenance should come from a tax on fuel or mileage in the case of an electric vehicle. Welfare should be completely shut down so the phony religious and charitable organizations are forced to take up the slack to keep their tax exempt status or go out of business. Street cops should be fired since they're useless in fighting crime.

    Discounting Jewish claims as "history" while asserting Muslim claims as "current" drives a logical method. Sufficient time will make the Muslim claims "historic" too. If Palestinian Jews have to struggle 1,000 Years to keep their land, they will do so until their side is the only "current" one.

    Personally, I think it would be better to look for solutions now.

    There is a huge opportunity for peaceful negotiations. Hamas has destroyed the fresh water aquifer under Gaza. Even the UN admits that water is an issue. Physical reality points towards relocating the current population to a New Muslim Palestine with sufficient natural resources. Separating the sides so that there is no "head butting" at the fence line will stop the day-to-day toll on civilians.

    I am not suggesting such a thing will be *easy*. However, it breaks the paradigm that has made things worse for 80+ years and offers no hope of forward progress.

    Anybody that makes a 2000 year old property claim for the Jewish community in Palestine should be prepared to return the entire Western Hemisphere to indigenous Indians.

    Israel is the largest beneficiary of US foreign aid in the world. At least 50% of that aid must be spent on US weapons of mass destruction, including artillery, tanks, fighter planes, and the almighty bulldozer which destroys Palestinian homes and farms on a daily basis, including 2000 year old olive trees. Palestinians have sticks, rocks and home made rockets to fight back with.

    Sorry for the delay but I wanted a chance to give your replies a decent response. I am not a Christian and that religion has no appeal to me. That said, I would rather live in a Christian country than any other and I have the utmost respect for Christians and their beliefs and I think that the First Amendment was wrongly interpreted when the powers-that-be used it to separate Christianity from government functions and the Ten Commandments from government property. Americans were Christians before the Constitution existed and for 200 years it was not imagined that the Constitution could be separated from Christianity. That came about due to the influence of so-called "liberals" on the Supreme Court and IMO should be reversed at first opportunity.

    Your quote from the imam is ludicrous. Anyone who has studied Islam knows that Sharia law tells Muslims to submit to local government if that government is not Muslim, but this submission is reluctant and temporary while they are living in Dar al-Harb, the Area of War. When Muslims grow their numbers to a critical mass, they are required to institute Sharia law throughout the country. This can be seen in London and Paris where Muslims send out patrols to harass and exclude non-Muslims in predominantly Muslim areas, establishing No-Go Zones even regarding police. Islam presumes and prescribes a permanent state of war with non-Muslims who do not submit to Muslim power. I can give you citations from the Quran if this is new to you that prescribe perpetual war with non-Muslims. I know Muslims where I live who innocently ask "Why do American courts not implement the Sharia?" These immigrants truly do not understand the least thing about their "new home" in America, not having been required to learn anything whatsoever about the US before they immigrated. Now they actively push for Sharia in American courts, which includes outlawing non-traditional sex and establishing Islam as the only state religion. Islam has no notion of separating religion from government, for Muslims these are always one and the same. Only a few uninfluential Westernized intellectuals say different, or a few traditional clerics who are trying to disguise the true nature of Islam as evident in the Quran.

    The universalism of Islam, however, like the universalism of Christianity, is an illusion. Almost from the beginning Muslim states broke up into regional variants, just as Christianity did. Universal religions are merely tools of imperial rule and imperial expansion and always eventually break up as local populations reject orthodoxy and adopt variants more in line with their local traditions. There is even a school that sees Islam as a local Christian variant that revolted against Byzantine universalism, only later morphing into its own universal imperialism.

    I agree with Nietzsche in that local tradition, like most aspects of society, and like consciousness itself, are largely ultimately expressions of physiological processes, or, in a word, disguised instinct, being the playing out of DNA. This is not determinism, as it still leaves a substantial part for free will, but most of what people think they are freely deciding on their own are actually the playing out of unconscious, i.e., genetics-driven processes. This means race trumps religion.

    I am not happy with this conclusion. I have reluctantly come to believe this after a lifetime of studying anthropology and history. I with we could all hold hands and sing kumbaya as a single happy collective. But the facts say otherwise. Acknowledging the racial basis of all societies and history is inevitable if one accepts Darwinian principles and modern genetics research. Notions such as pride, contempt, hate, etc, have nothing whatsoever to do with it. You remind me of Darwin's wife who insisted he not be buried in a church yard because of his "sins". But sin has nothing to do with science. And race is science, being nothing more than a taxonomic classification of variant elements of DNA in homo sapiens. Only fundamentalists in the Cult of Wokism deny this.

    Perhaps there is hope in the fact that DNA also changes and that every distinct group of people is changing all the time since evolution did not stop 40,000 or 50,000 or 150,000 years ago as some claim, but evolution continues even today to alter people's DNA in subtle ways. Prof Edward Dutton, for example, points out that average IQ rises and falls over time like waves, and has been falling in Western societies for at least a century. Other researchers agree, just as they agree that the different races (and there is no such thing as "the human race") differ in many subtle and profound ways, IQ being only one small part.

    Just to make things clear, I do not reject all religion, just universal ones. My favorite hero is the Emperor Julian, who attempted to restore polytheism in the 4th century. But the "universalists" of the time attacked and destroyed all polytheist temples after his death, just as the fundamentalist Wokists are destroying all "temples" of tolerance today after Trump was removed from office by the election steal of 2020. Polytheism was tolerant and in accord with the Aryan / Indo-European tradition. The success of the Catholic Church IMO was due to its quiet embrace of polytheism, this is visible in its cult of saints. This is where I see a Christian-European tradition versus a Judeo-Islamic tradition, there being no such thing as Judeo-Christian tradition which is a modern invention. But I still prefer pre-Christian European religious traditions because the Indo-European pantheon is more in accord with millennia of Aryan tradition, which inevitably means Aryan genetics. As Christianity dies, and it is dying, then I am confident that Europe will return to its genetic roots and re-embrace pre-Christian polytheism., assuming that those genetics are still extant.

    Although the founders of the USA included a few Christians, the majority were Deists, who reject revelation and look to the natural world to find truth through reason and observation.     This essay by Radhika Desai and the venerable Michael Hudson exemplifies 19th century 'narrative economics,' in which the authors seek to convince the reader by applying logic to a long list of disconnected historical events, that their brilliant subjective interpretation explains it all.

    Unfortunately, the narrative logic here is barely even coherent.

    Desai and Hudson quote -- of all people -- Karl Marx to the effect that 'the weight of gold fixed upon as the standard of prices diverges from the weight which serves as the circulating medium' because of -- wait for it -- coin wear. AH HA HA HA.

    I burst out laughing at this absurd, ahistorical claim. Coin wear, easily measured with a scale if of concern, was a vanishingly minor issue with metallic coinage, compared to governments themselves (such as the Roman Empire) intentionally and radically debasing coins' gold or silver content.

    Helpfully making my own point for me, Desai and Hudson proceed -- thousands of droning words later, after most readers will have nodded off -- to admit that 'Gold is the path of least resistance and de facto expedient in such a transition [away from the dollar].'

    Thanks, gents! Glad we've finally solved that vexing coin wear problem, what with e-payments supplanting jingling pockets.

    More seriously, though, Desai and Hudson repeatedly conflate currency (the medium of exchange) with payments systems, as if the two are largely interchangeable. They aren't.

    And thus, after a disastrous half century experiment with exclusively fiat, debt-backed currencies which have generated the most disastrous bubble in human history, the authors propose no solution to the problem of establishing a stable means of exchange as we pick up the pieces from the forthcoming wreckage.

    As they said, 'gold is the path of least resistance.' As for decentralized finance ('defi') which proposes simply to disintermediate the exploitative, hegemonic institutions which Desai and Hudson so deplore, the authors utter nary a peep.

    If this were an undergrad economics thesis, I'd award a generous gentleman's C. Nice try, lads.

    What was not stated was that a healthy economy is a virtuous cycle of production and consumption. Interest and rent are two costs which have nothing to do with production or consumption.
    The authors are saying money in any system of exchange is not really the equivalent of a real commodity, which is derived from real production, and that’s OK.
    If costs such as interest charges and rent become too burdensome for a country to continue to be productive competitively, something must be done. Those debts must be forgiven.
    In America today, that remains an option for businesses, but not for individuals, particularly if they have a job, no matter how poor the pay. As Picketty proved debt growth consistently exceeds economic growth, so the system is unsustainable. The Bankers solution is to impose austerity and receive full compensation, insolvency or death be damned.
    This consistent outcome in Western economies is because most debt is issued by private interests, unlike China which issues public debt and simply writes off failures without imposing austerity on the working public.
    Their solution, debt forgiveness, was long a part of the US economy, but BushII cancelled most personal bankruptcy.

    We know it's difficult to understand for many who haven't followed Dr. Michael Hudson's numerous articles.
    At present, he is regarded as the BEST ECONOMIST if not in the world, certainly in the Western World. For instance, Dr. Paul Craig Roberts, an economist and many others understand Dr.Hudson's brilliance.

    Maybe a little background on Dr.Hudson would help some.
    Dr. Hudson was raised in a Marxist environment. His father was especially vocal against US Capitalism. That was several decades ago.....When Hudson went to universities, it was understood that he had a brilliant mind in the areas of FINANCE & economies 'round the world.

    After his university days, he was hired by some of the TOP US Financial Centers such as Chase Manhattan Bank. He constructed numerous methods for these companies to enlarge their profits all around the world. Applause, applause.
    But as he grew older, he could see that the growing power of US Capitalism was damaging nations, their governments, and citizens, alike.
    He was sought out in Canada to help that government to sort out their financial difficulties, but by then, "Capitalist Interests" had emerged there, and Hudson was defeated in his efforts.

    As the years have gone by, he was offered positions in many other nations, but he became keenly interested in the new economic concepts emanating from China. He sits on important Chinese boards while pointing the best way for China to grow economically......
    At the same time, he has lectures around the world with nations who are desperately trying to divorce themselves from the immense avarice and greed of the US system.

    It was once believed that the collapse of the Soviet Union was the most profound development of the last century, promoting the USA into the planet’s only Superpower. But that is wrong. The Chinese Revolution is the most momentous event of the last century, and its con sequence is the rise of China as the center of global capital accumulation, BASED ON PRODUCTION OF THE MOST HIGHER VALUED GOODS IN MANUFACTURING.

    This development was the doing of the elites who are running our country on Wall Street, as their profitable plaything, under the political cover of DC. It is the opposite of the countries that prevailed after WWII and the USA when it landed on the moon.

    This is a deliberate long running class warfare campaign. Books were written and praised about this momentous event in the seventies. One such book was titled “Megatrends” written by John Nesbitt, the seventies version is in your library but I’m sure it has since been edited heavily. It promised a thriving service economy as all manufacturing is moved overseas. Productive labor is fundamentally different than service labor in that production creates NEW wealth whereas services including all paper shuffling transfers existing wealth between citizens without increasing the national wealth.

    Lincoln put it this way, “Labor is prior to, and independent of, capital. Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if labor had not first existed. Labor is the superior of capital, and deserves much the higher consideration.”

    This was going to be wonderful because it would move all dirty work and pollution overseas. Never mind that we all share the same atmosphere. A service economy In the meantime we will be raising our military budget every year, which is heavily dependent on steel, copper, chips and circuit boards, among another million other items all manufactured overseas. So our military is incapable of fighting a sustained conflict against another major power. They have already proven to be ineffective against the Viet Cong, Al Qaida, ISIS, or the Taliban…. Yet the goons in charge keep repeating themselves, shooting us all in the foot.

    Except they have a very high correlation with how well someone will do in academic pursuits. Think of it as an aptitude test for academic work. Every business used to have specific aptitude tests until the SCOTUS decided they were racist.

    How fair is it to anybody. the teacher and other students, to have people so deficient in basic mathematical talent in the calculus class holding everybody else back?

    How would you determine who society is going to spend it's resources on to develop their talents. Even at private institutions, government grants pay for a large part of the students development.

    Taken by itself, that sentence is misleading and I apologize. The context was meant to be “Race, a dubious category, should have no basis in the way we are treated under the law, or as individual human beings. Every economy requires more laborers than thinkers to function. Even if intelligence tests are legitimate they have no place in a free and fair society.”

    There is nothing wrong with segregating people during their education on account of their interests and/or their talents.

    But it is wrong to use poor intelligence as a political weapon for exploitation or imprisonment of people by race or any other category. It makes as much sense as punishing someone for having red hair. Unfortunately, our country’s original constitution made many such distinctions. Some have been fixed, but only when protestors took to the streets, beginning with women’s suffrage. The ruling class has been fighting back since FDR, rather successfully. This is all wrong.

    Is the dollar still relevant?
    In order to pass a law through çongress, it must first pass through Committee. Committees are controlled by the two parties. Congressman gain committee spots by financial support of the party. The party comes around with it's hand out. No tickee, no shirtee.
    Get it? Congress is just one big whore house. Any law MUST be introduced by financial support of members 'johns'. Most Reps are 'three hole' congressmen. But wait, there's more.
    It's so easy to take foreign contributions. Even an Israeli could do it. So the world is awash in dollars, any of which can find it's way into Congressional pockets. Is it any wonder American workers are shat upon? (i.e. $600/wk Convid bonus. Throw the dog a bone.)
    The grabbing hands grab all they can
    All for themselves, after all
    Everything counts in large amounts.
    It's a competitive world.
