    Steve,

I don’t think there is a negative correlation between sports and music. I love music and sports. It’s just that I’m average at both. I think there are two factors at play here:

    1. You are looking at professional musicians and athletes. It’s hard to find anyone that talented at two separate disciplines. Not a negative correlation, just the laws of probability for extremely rare things.

    2. To be a pro athlete or pro musician requires a lot of practice. A good athlete but excellent musician (or vice-versa) will likely channel his time into the activity he is better at preventing excelling at the other activity.

Having said this, there are people good at both. Brett Myers was a starter for the 2008 WS winning Phillies (as a Dodgers fan you must remember his 3-3, 3 RBI game in the NLCS, right?) and has gone on to a career(?) in country music.

There is no recruitment problem; rather, the standards for recruitment still follow old obsolete white racist protocols that are intentionally designed to favor white heterosexual males. This is the same problem that has been found with standards to become pilots, engineers, and scientists.

A fair test for deciding if one qualifies for joining the military would just have one question: do you love Democracy, Freedom, and Human Rights? If the answer is yes, then they should be allowed to join.

And we must stop saying individuals are too "fat"; this is like saying individuals are too dark, or that they have hair that is too curly, or that their noses are too wide and flat or too hooked. It's just plain racism. And what's especially racist is that the military still uses IQ tests, a debunked pseudo-scientific construct.

Think of just how amazing it is that millions of Americans at this very moment are willing to sacrifice their very lives in the military in order to promote Democracy, Freedom, and Human Rights. Yet we are treating them like garbage by telling them they are too "inferior" to serve their county and humanity.

The idea that an ideologically motivated country will do the practical in its military affairs is more than questionable. If Woke ideology is the ideology of the day at the expense of true esprit de corps then a sub optimal military force will be sent to the field no matter the consequences.

Moreover, if the view of much of society is that the military is an alien force defending an alien or illegitimate government the view that the military of the US is an occupation force will only grow. This kind of thinking is already present in reduced recruitment figures and even the sentiments of the article above.

One need not be seditious the article states. Pay the taxes and obey the laws and stay away from the military. The problem is that the military is only the leading edge of a government that is no longer worthy of support. The hostility of the military against those who oppose state ideology extends to the rest of the population. The military just, for the present, puts a finer point on it.

The view that the military is an alien force will be increasingly followed by the view that the government is alien as well. At some point that military will be called into occupation duty against civil dissent which will only increase the fires of sedition. The US is facing a slow moving revolution from the top down which has yet to break opposition. We are marching towards that make or break moment.

The US military is a powerful fighting force, at least on paper. Yet it may be that it is only fit for domestic occupation duty. The case has been made that its critical military hardware is obsolescent and the financial system that supports it is near collapse.

Military technology has moved on and the US has lagged behind. For many years carrier groups have been considered sitting ducks at sea. Current arguments are that the carriers would go to the bottom quickly in any nonnuclear WWIII scenario. How would armies be sent abroad in such a situation? Troopships would go to the bottom faster than carriers. Aircraft would be shot from the sky. A nuclear war as an alternative changes the world forever.

Assuming this current US army got to some field of battle in Europe or Asia would it be competent to fight? Relatively poorly equipped despite the money lavished upon it, perhaps with less than sufficient ammunition, and suffering increasing internal dissension under fire how effective would it be as a fighting force? Perhaps it is a good idea that the US army engage the Russians in Ukraine to test its fighting capabilities?

We are more likely to face a Red Army, White Army situation as the US government demonstrates itself an alien force to a large part of the population. Global war recedes into the distance as increasing military strength in Eurasia and decreasing US financial strength reduces the power of the hegemon. Economic strain, even collapse, inflation, inadequate domestic production of real goods and services including military hardware, decreasing legitimacy, opposition from a united Russia and China abroad argue for the next great fight in US history to be a domestic one.

It's similar to all the hype about Jim Brown. He was a good running back, but it helps when you're as big as the average defensive lineman and bigger than the rest.

Wilt and Brown both benefited greatly from playing in eras where the quality of athletic competition had not yet peaked.

Both of these guys would have been remarkably less dominant had they played in the 80's and 90's.

Jim Brown was listed at 232. When he joined the league in 1957, other famous running backs included Ollie Matson (220) and Frank Gifford (197). Tank Younger was 225 and Alan Ameche 216.

I looked up Jim Brown's contemporaries, the famous Green Bay running back duo: Jim Taylor was listed at 214 and Paul Hornung at 215. Gale Sayers was 198 pounds. Brown's successor with the Cleveland Browns, Leroy Kelly, was 202 pounds. Calvin Hill was 227. O.J. was 212.

Defensive linemen in the 1957 Pro Bowl ranged from the 220s into the 260s. Hall of Fame linebacker Chuck Bednarik was 233, same as Brown.

So Jim Brown at 232 was very big, huge even, for a top running back 56 years ago, but not immensely big. Today, the top running backs probably average around 225, with Derrick Henry at 247 and Christian McCaffrey at 205.

The NFL fullback who much have been terrifyingly large was Bronko Nagurski, who played from 1930 into the 1940s. He's listed at 226.

"Jim Brown played in the NFL at 225-230 pounds. NFL linemen on both sides of the ball were considerably bigger than that."

Not in the 50's and early 60's. It wasn't until the late 60's early 70's where Dlinemen started weighing up 260 plus across the front.

A 225 man running full speed into a 250 man just coming off of a block, or moving laterally, is going to win that collision most of the time.

Look Brown was a good back, but if he had played in the 80's onward he would have not been the dominant player he was in his era. Maybe not even in the 70's. Playing against the Steel Curtain twice a year would have been a challenge for him.

Of course beating Tyre (why would you name your kid after a rubber donut?) to death was not right but, like almost every other black death at the hands of the police, he contributed to his own death and this has not been mentioned in the media accounts

At some point in the encounter he attempts to run off and that's when shit get really real. I realize that by that point he is not thinking clearly anymore. But somehow blacks have to get it into their heads that attempting to run away is not going to result in an improvement in an already bad situation. Whites in a similar situation understand that they are going to have an unpleasant evening and maybe have to spend the night in jail or face charges or whatever, but they recognize that they have no choice but to accept their fate in the short run.

Blacks seem to exhibit some sort of magical thinking where somehow the police are going to respect their desire to leave a bad situation as long as they want it badly enough. And if the cops don't, that they somehow have the right to take matters into their own hands and run off or fight with the cops (note that regardless of whether you hypothetically have such a legal right in the face of what you perceive to be an unlawful arrest, as a practical matter you don't). This sort of magical thinking (that you are bulletproof or invisible or whatever) is not unknown in history but is usually in the context of a mass movement. Blacks do this as individuals but as a widespread pattern.

Trying to run off or resist is only going to piss the cops off even more. The Talk needs to include the message that running from the police is not a good idea ( at least not if you don't have a clear chance of getting away). This may be some sort of animalistic fight or flight response and not the result of rational thought but blacks are human and can be taught to overcome their animal instincts or magical thinking. But they need to have this mindset in place long before the encounter begins.

Blacks seem to exhibit some sort of magical thinking where somehow the police are going to respect their desire to leave a bad situation as long as they want it badly enough.

I agree but I’m going to take it one step further. I’ve seen many interactions between police and citizens. In my experience, Negros almost invariably exhibit a lack of respect for legitimate police authority far more often and to a much greater degree than other races. Police seem accustomed to giving Negros more slack in this regard than they would other races. It’s as if police experience or folklore has inured them to this reality.

I was saying to a friend last night that it would not be long for the death of Tyre Nichols to be the fault of, wait for it, white people.

And right on cue, this morning we have Van Jones:

At the end of the day, it is the race of the victim who is brutalized — not the race of the violent cop — that is most relevant in determining whether racial bias is a factor in police violence. It’s hard to imagine five cops of any color beating a White person to death under similar circumstances. And it is almost impossible to imagine five Black cops giving a White arrestee the kind of beat-down that Nichols allegedly received.

It’s that simple. For race-baiters like Jones, if the victim is Black, he (or she) is always a victim of racial hatred. It’s a self-fulfilling statement. A statement that cannot be defeated, even when the criminals are Black. If a Black man is the victim, race is always the reason.

Jones and race-baiters like him are stoking flames that will envelop the nation. Antifa–the thugs and goons who burned America three years ago–have taken to the street again, and will, again, burn, loot, and destroy property. I saw plenty of signs on the streets of Memphis that called for “justice” for Nichols, but Antifa thugs burning cities isn’t about Tyre Nichols. It’s never about the victims of police violence.

The cops were systemically white, and intersectionally, as well.

  • The 93% of murder suspects being black in Memphis might indicate that blacks are a tad more violent than others. This might explain why black cops are disciplined more often, they come from a cohort that tends to be more violent.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that…

The Talk needs to include the message that running from the police is not a good idea ( at least not if you don't have a clear chance of getting away). , @Wade Hampton
    @Twinkie

Rodney King and the Memphis victim would not have experienced what they did had they just laid quietly on the ground and put their hands behind their back when they were first instructed to do so by the police.

The Memphis police committed murder -- second degree maybe?. Chauvin used an approved, non-lethal restraint technique on a criminal who overdosed and died in his custody.

I look forward to comparing the treatment of the police in the two cases.

And then we have the simple fact of follow the leader, be part of the fad. Blacks are BELOVED by the white and Jew elites and are extremely violent. Sop what's a poor Asian to think and do to get some love from the Yank elites?

At some point, gangs of Asians are going to decide they have had enough go sacred cow blacks, and they will then make deals with Mexicans and whatever whites have enough gas left in the tank, and they are going to explode on scared cow blacks and the handlers and backers of the sacred cows. J. Ross, I think this is basically correct.

White guys might get into arguments with co-workers. Maybe in the very odd case some actual fighting. But basically, we white guys aren't so bolted down. If there are "issues" we tend to go ahead and get into it more or less--depending on the person--when it's at hand.

The East Asian guys tend to be more repressed ... but then when they snap, they are more likely to really snap.

The other aspect is immigration. Immigration takes people out of their normal cultural milieu and dumps them in another culture where they are likely to be an atomized individual and not fit in. For example, the Korean POS at Virginia Tech 15 years back. He'd have been a loon and a loser back in Korea. But being a "fish-out-water" surrounded by all these white girls who had zero interest in him probably didn't help.

That's right. It is to be expected. Because no other group in human history has been as scapegoat-dependent as them. They have never been able to live without one. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scapegoating

It's the explanation for why, for all their alleged intelligence, they've never been able to create a civilization of their own. In other words, the fact that they are so scapegoat-dependent is why they're predators and parasites.

The only solution is for the Scapegoat to go No Contact. But, in this case, that's easier said than done. Because what Supremacy Inc. is doing is making whites the first global scapegoat. So even if, as a group, No Contact isn't possible, the gesture toward it is. And that means calling them out. Once that happens, and there's no reason why it can't, things will never be the same for all involved.

For some this solution might not be enough. And maybe it isn't.

I live here and totally agree. I enjoyed the article but it reads like fan fiction. The author clearly is completely disconnected from the reality on the ground. We live in the Santa Cruz Mountains. I’m married to a Thai lady. We are conservative and far to the traditional (early 20th century hard right). I was an executive now run our business which thankfully is growing. Most of our customers are white from around the world. Most share our political views surprisingly. Whites are very clearly under attack by the khazar Jews globally. Increasingly they know it and articulate it more than I’ve ever heard since the WWI generation used to point it out. My parents were older when they had me. I grew up around people born in the 19th century. So my identity formation and my works views are somewhat unique these days. I’m a boomer but amongst the youngest and last. I have completely flipped on the Jewish question. The Jewish elite openly have been calling for white genocide for generations. The Holohoax was a sham. But it needs to be real the next time. Sure there are people calling themselves Jews today (they aren’t even ethnic Jews they’re Eastern European and turk mixed khazars) that have no idea of their own reality. They are euro trash but they’re innocent, unlike their elites. Those elites especially the Rothschilds need to go immediately into ovens with apples in their mouths for all the evil they’ve done and are planning to do.

As for Mexifornia it’s a ruin. We are still here because my wife prefers we not retire to Thailand yet. I’ve honored her request but have been clear as soon as SHTF to a degree I decide is a threat we are gone. Either to there or Montana. I left corporate America for pretty much what’s in the article. Just quit and started our business. Of our trend line holds we will be back to mid six figures by the end of the year. We are already over two after starting in June. You can still do that here. And outside the cities it’s beautiful. Also in the rural areas especially in the mountains. A gold rush is still possible. The beauty of the land and it’s relative affordability are why. The population around us is measured to be like 96% white. So low crime, peaceful and comfortable. What crime there is tends to be of the nuisance variety or what I call fake crimes like DUI or parcel theft. Parcel theft coming from low class whites and organized Hispanic theft gangs from San Jose. The invaders all deserve the chair or public hangings around the court house for any crimes.

Smash and grab thefts are frequent and brazen in the valley and san Fransicko. The police do nothing and literally just stand around and watch. But they’re always available to harass and shake down motorists, business owners and the dwindling middle class as they go about their days.

It’s practically impossible for whites to be hired in blue collar trades or public works here. On the corporate level (I was a senior executive for many years in FAANGS and financial services) diversity hires trump whites. The only reason I was usually hired was to clean up the mess of some past or current C level diversity hire. I don’t know how much longer I’d have made it. Because they increasingly don’t even care about actual performance anymore in the C suite out here or at the board level. It’s just diversity, diversity, diversity damn the consequences. The author is delusional about that. Almost all of the Indian, Chinese and especially blacks are completely incompetent in our technical fields. They’re pretty incompetent in other. The only reason they’re here is to replace us. The only reason they have any success is that the government enforced it. It’s straight up steal from the whites give to the invaders. I’m old enough to have heard our elites tell us what they were doing.

Another thing, everything here is falling apart. The grid, water, power, roads, everything. That’s by design. They just mandated 200,000 trucks off the roads. They’re pushing EVs and banning natural gas appliances. Our grid is already collapsing. It is impossible to support the proposed number of EVs let alone the appliance banning. We have three generators at our ranch. Power is out for days or weeks at a time. I’m putting in solar (myself) this year. Not because I give a crap about the fake global warming nonsense. But because I can’t run it properly without consistent power. We built a house in my wife’s village near Burma (third world) and have almost no power outages except very short occasional ones during the monsoons.

We are not far off from Weimar Germany. The Jews have adjusted for that since then. By flooding us with the worst possible sub species genetic trash on the planet and then taxing us to support it. The author of the piece above has identified some of the patterns accurately but completely misses effects and end game. I’m guessing he lives in a wealthy white liberal enclave completely insulted from reality. He strikes as the kind of guy that will be surprised as a BLM rape gang does his wife and children in front of him in his own home as they ravage his neighborhood as the police stand around outside keeping homeowners from defending themselves. Arresting any whites who try.

I haven’t seen one mention of George Floyd, Brianna Taylor, or BLM; most of the crowds outside of LA have been very white, and the local entertainment is usually wholesome stuff: contests for fans, mascots shooting t-shirt guns, sing-a-longs, etc. The only exception so far was some kind of gay dance troupe at one Mavericks game.

Granted, I expect there will be some pozz on MLK day, but so far I’ve been pleasantly surprised.

One thing to consider is that when Wilt was playing in the 60’s there were like 9 or 10 teams. And while this may serve to diminish the accomplishments of the Boston Celtics (it’s easier to dominate a smaller league) it actually makes Wilt’s accomplishments a bit more comparable to today, given that there are 30+ teams to spread the talent among. But for my money the best center of all time remains Kareem. That sky hook was unstoppable. It isn’t used anymore not because it has gone out of fashion; it’s because nobody else has been able to use it as effectively as Kareem. He would still dominate with it in today’s game.

    Replies: @SteveRogers42, @Haxo Angmark

The fundamentals aren’t taught anymore, and the hook is seen as an unathletic “old man’s” shot. The players don’t care about effectiveness nearly as much as they care about stylin’, so nobody bothers to perfect the shot. It’s actually easy to learn the basic hook shot, and little kids try it automatically when they first step on a court.

Nah…This is wrong. Lots of old timers could sling it from deep, but they only counted as twos. Pistol Pete and the Van Arsdale boys to name a few. Since there was no 3 pt line the NBA game developed around post play and for whatever reason the NBA is slow to adapt. Basketball Xs and Os is innovated at the lower levels. Always has been.

For example, the first year the NCAA experimented with the 3pt line in nonconf, Bob Knight’s Hoosiers had 2 50%+ shooters. One year after it was fully implemented, Knights Hoosiers won the NCAA title behind Steve Alford’s 53% 3pt shooting where he averaged 6 attempts a game. By the 90’s Rick Pitino’s Kentucky teams were already running up-tempo offenses focused on the three. Pitino would always correctly say 33% from 3 is the same as 50% from 2. NBA executives didn’t start parroting this until well into the 2000’s.

During this same time in the 80’s the NBA’s best shooter Larry Bird was often averaging 1 3-pointer attempt a game in some seasons in the NBA. Criminally stupid. The NBA is very slow to adapt. They mostly have the dumbest coaches and league office.

    Replies: @SteveRogers42, @Bragadocious, @Jonah321

  • Regarding Wilt having no jump-shot, that’s strange to say because he scored on fadeaway shots on 60% percent of his points, supposedly. There’s a lot of footage of him shooting fadeaway after fadeaway on Youtube. I think these are nearly the same thing: so the better way of putting it might be that Wilt could shoot, just not that set shot that they taught ubiquitously back then.

    • Agree: Marquis, SteveRogers42
  • There are no post-up centers today, and on the rare occasions when a big man finds himself down on the blocks, he has no pivot moves to employ. Since no modern defender has seen a true low-post center, Wilt would bulldoze the baggy-pants brigade on offense.

Wilt said that the reason he developed the finger roll was to challenge himself. Scoring was too easy with conventional shots. Much like Kareem’s hook, no one has been able to replicate it since.

I’m not. At this point I think the smart, but cynical, move would be for Ukraine to let those economic disaster areas join Russia. The problem for the poor people of Donbas is that Russia seems to have no use for them. Putin wants to control Kiev, Kharkiv, Mariupol and Odessa, not an aging depopulated rust belt that needs economic subsidies.

The cynical way Putin’s army has thrown poorly trained, under equipped ethnic Russians from LNR and DNR into the meat grinder over the past 6 months should horrify you if you actually care about Russians, or if you just a normal human being with any empathy. Russian military strategy in the 2000’s is
    – to destroy the enemy’s armor,
    – to envelop enemy troops and
    – offer a choice of surrender and relocation or annihilation,
    – and to preserve infrastructure
    – while protecting civilians.

For eight years, Kiev has indiscriminately shelled the Donbass.

The Russian Army in Ukraine is incredibly incompetent. Most of the troops Ukraine is rolling up around Kherson are poorly motivated conscripts from the DNR and LNR and Russian police who have been pressed into service (in fact, you even see gloating in Russian social media about the Rosgvardia lads getting slaughtered now that they have to actually fight and not just punch female protesters in the stomach).

For whatever reason, Putin has still refused to commit elite troops to the “Special Operation”. As Ukraine moves forward towards Donetsk at blitzkrieg pace, 50,000 of Russia’s best soldiers are playing war games out in the Russian Far East, helping to train Chinese troops.

Perhaps it makes sense to keep the A Team in reserve for defense against an actual NATO attack on Russia, but a defeat on this scale, even if it’s the Russian C Team, is doing immense damage to Russian prestige.

Putin also is facing the problem that he is chewing up the interior security forces. Regional leaders are increasingly unafraid of Moscow and there won’t be many police left to deal with large protests if Russians decide to go on the streets.

I think the reality of absolute numerical parity means that you can have a football team or minor men's sports teams but not both (unless you create a women's football team which no one really has).

If you have a Big 10 football program like Iowa does, it's likely a big net revenue producer for the University via the conference television contract, ticket sales, and licensing of merchandise (jerseys, sweatshirts, etc.) so you're not going to kill the one cash cow that the athletic department has (and which subsidizes the other athletics programs). Therefore wrestling has to go to make way for women's crew or something similar.

Title IX should be repealed but a slight tweak in exempting the net revenue neutral or revenue producing sports programs when calculating participation by sex for Title IX compliance would fix the bulk of this issue. So big time college football teams, some basketball programs, and a smattering of hockey programs would be exempt, but the roster size of football makes it the big "gender offender" when it comes to Title IX compliance requiring the addition of b.s. women's programs for numerical parity. Take football out of the equation and you don't need to make up sports for 70+ women with little or no interest anyway.

  • Women in the army have NOT improved combat readiness. As a career combat leader, most of the issues I dealt with were female related. They get paid the same, yet most cannot hack the physical job requirements of handling several 80 lb cable reels, pounding in several 6 ft ground rods, erecting antenna systems, and digging fighting positions with full cammo on day one, and then three days later, breaking that all down, moving, and setting it all up again. 3 person teams that I assigned could NEVER include an all female team. I always assign teams as two males, one female. There were times when I had to assign a two female, one male team and that one male would be exhausted as he had to do all of the heavy lifting and physically demanding work.

The physical fitness standards are NOT the same. They tried to do that, but it has failed miserably and are now back to the two standard system. Note that both male and female soldiers are paid the same, yet more is required of males.

I got sick of dealing with female issues and went through the Combat Leadership Course and was assigned as the radioman in LRSD.

The first female graduate of Ranger School went on to 75th Ranger Reg where she quickly went to town screwing team members. This has all been kept quite. The problem with women on combat teams is one of endurance, strength, and dealing with the most powerful human trait of them all: Sexual attraction. If a team member is screwing a fellow team member, they are compromised as they will be distracted by her and she him, during combat ops. Imagine a security perimeter under attack and one of them is shot. Chances are 100%, their bunk buddy will be distracted and attempt to immediately leave their position to render aid. THIS IS AN ALREADY PROVEN FACT.

The origin of the significance of 47 can be traced to Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Voyager writer Joe Menosky, who attended Pomona College in California. There is a club at Pomona called The 47 Society, which claims that there exists a mathematical proof that all numbers are equal to 47, and that the number 47 occurs with greater frequency in nature than other numbers – 74 makes frequent reappearances as well, as does 23 (half of 47 rounded down).

Joe Menosky first started including references to 47 in his scripts in the fourth season of TNG, and the in-joke quickly caught on among the rest of the staff. Since then, references to 47 have been included in many episodes and movies of all the modern series.

The more you’ve memorized tactically allows your confidence and judgement to more consistently manifest better outcomes for the cop and perp both.

The typical fat man or chick cop leads me to believe that training and marksmanship standards have been reduced significantly from a decade ago. Even with training, it’s hard to perform under pressure when you’re a clumsy, self-indulgent fat ass. If your body is in shitshape, when the adrenaline starts pumping hard, your own nervous system can’t take it. So… you make horrible mistakes. Or worse, you get killed.

Btw, the first thing any competent shooting instructor discourages you to do is the "spray and pray" shit, whether you’re using a pistol, or an assault rifle on full automatic. Spray and pray results in missed targets, wasted ammunition, and dead soldiers/cops.

Too many commenters here watch too many silly movies.

After an age-and-gender-normed Cooper test on their first day at the Basic Academy, police officers in WA are not required to take another PFT in their entire careers. In fact, they will never be required to take a basic annual medical exam after hiring.

Modern police are not hired with the understanding that they need to be competent in physical altercations of any kind. If, by chance, an officer is hired with the natural capacity to be confident and competent in a use-of-force situation, those attributes tend to erode given the cultural and institutional preference for “social workers with badges”.

Long ago, I took an extended firearms course with a US LEO instructor who told the group, point blank, that by the time we finished the three-month course, we would probably be able to shoot better than most police officers. He was a thorough and painstaking instructor and I never had reason to doubt what he said.

It's been estimated that it takes 20,000-30,000 live rounds with a weapons platform to become truly proficient in its use so that the controls are firmly wired in muscle memory.

Calculate what this would translate into in terms of ammunition costs and the costs of time training for the new officer (and Instructors/RSOs) which is not spent on patrols or investigations and you understand why proficiency is rare in law enforcement save for specialized units with augmented training budgets.

However, those municipal governments all seem to find plenty of money to spend on foot massages for unwed mothers, et al.

As and experienced competitive shooter (USPSA, IDPA, multi-gun, SASS), I can assure you that cops are lousy shots.

They shoot until they qualify and the qualifying target is kept on record so that the department can claim that the cop was property trained and tested.

Firearms training will consist of shooting the state qualification course on a quarterly basis. This will consist of paper targets shot at known distances from a standing position, with a malfunction drill and a verbal command example thrown in. There will probably be no supplementary combat simulations, no integration of firearms with “defensive tactics”, and in fact no physical exertion of any kind.

Local police are not allowed to enforce federal law in such matters as illegal immigration. At most, they can check a box on their general report form and request that a copy (containing ID info on the persons of interest) be sent to ICE or whatever they're calling themselves nowadays.

You read about it, I lived it.

Whole lotta “mays” in that opinion. In practice, police administrators do not interface with the feds on immigration matters.

Now shove that Bud Light bottle up your ass.

Stupid, yes, but he’s always been a world-class liar. At the start of the 2020 campaign, though, you could tell that senility had impacted his ability to lie convincingly. He was like an aging pitcher who had lost the hop on his fastball, and now any rookie up from AAA for a cup of coffee could take him over the wall.

  • Most West Coast departments have a “No Pursuit” policy. If an officer spots a stolen car and it refuses to yield, he can only wave goodbye. Not surprisingly, auto thefts skyrocket. Same SOPs for a violator that flees from a traffic stop, or any other matter that does not rise to the level of a violent felony in progress. If a driver had been reported as leaving a daycare carrying a disembodied head and an AK-47, officers MIGHT be allowed to pursue IF traffic and weather conditions were optimal and IF he receives authorization from a supervisor.

If you want to see the feckless future of policing, go to the Left Coast.

No, it's really just a question of going local. Policing should be done at the community level.

Orthodox Jews have their own police force apparently (I suppose, private?) because they don't like outsiders. Well, let's generalize that, with a community police from the area policing each neighbourhood.

Of course, it's not perfect but it seems a possible improvement to me. Otherwise, what's your suggestion?

    Replies: @Truth, @SteveRogers42

    Tribal police departments as well.

Weirdly written don't believe its truth. Author just happens to have overview of Black "hood", "barrio", and Richey Rich land. Really? Sharp eighth grader with racial grudge could have written it.

    Replies: @SteveRogers42

Many street cops change precincts/sectors several times during their careers. Each area will have a different racial composition, and policing each one will be a unique experience.
