Other than ice hockey and it’s tradition of “enforcers” I can’t think of another major sport which does this to this degree, though maybe you could say every sport in actual honor cultures do this

The tradition of fisticuffs in hockey is a rather explicit exchange - if you want to intimidate/brutalize/retaliate against your opponent, you must do it without the stick in your hands. Think of it as a sort of lex talionis - it moderates the violence to a level that is acceptable but generally not life-threatening (i.e., beating one another with sticks). That's the Don Cherry old time hockey theory anyway.

At the team level, if you want to knock Gretzky around, you have to be willing to fight Dave Semenko or Marty McSorley, although there is a tradition of the all-around tough hockey guy like Gordie Howe, Mark Messier or Eric Lindros who could score and were willing to fight your team's enforcer. It was also common for a hockey player to start a fight in order to shift the momentum in a game.

  • Campaign ads? CAMPAIGN ADS? We don’t need to steenkin’ campaign ads!

Folks, you could campaign on a chicken in every pot, it doesn’t matter. The election is going to be decided in mostly Dem controlled swing states which ALL, every one of them, have compromised election systems.

The Dems are already funding and rolling out ballot harvesting operations. They have the people in place, the compliant state laws (check out Pennsylvania, which has basically made voting legal for anybody that feels like voting), and a blissfully unconcerned Republican party.

They are stealing the election again. That’s why they dumped Biden. A win for him would seem too improbable. So now we get Kamala, with an instant 24×7 media hagiography campaign on pre-set themes (obviously MONTHS in preparation) and we’ve entered plausible territory, complete with phony polls, celebrity endorsements, etc. (Though it must have been annoying to re-print all those pre-Biden voted ballots!)

If Trump doesn’t have a very, very good plan to prevent the ballot harvesting and fake votes, he loses again. No matter what his campaign.

In other words, it’s over. He’s losing. Plus, Dems will take an unstoppable majority in both Houses. I said a long while back that 2024 would be the last election. I’m pretty sure I’m right. Though admittedly I thought they’d shove in Gavin “The Skin Suit” Newsom, but looks like they’re going with the slutty idiot.

  • Harris is a fascinating case, a perfect exemplar of her most fervent fan club: the clapped out, barren wine aunts.

As an attractive young woman, Harris made her way in “politics” by letting powerful men pass her around like a beer-can bong at a Grateful Dead concert. She failed upward over and over. Finally, as the wall became inevitable, she found a classic beta schlub provider in her Jewish lawyer husband Doug Emhoff, whom Harris married when she was 50. Her party girl years behind her, she probably snagged Emhoff by being willing to do all the pervy stuff his repressed Jewish porn actor soul so long wanted. Because you gotta figure Kamala swallows and lets Dougy take her up the dirty back road now and then. A perfect match.

Emhoff also brought along two step daughters, one of whom is obviously an emotionally damaged wreck, as every picture of her clearly illustrates. What a family.

Harris herself is an oddball mix of two toxic cultures, Jamaican and Indian. So she’s low IQ yet crafty, show-offy and outgoing yet a back stabbing pole climber. She takes on whatever points of view the woke zeitgeist tells her to parrot, because she’s too stupid to understand the issues (Jamaican) yet instinctively knows where the power centers are (Indian caste culture).

She never had a child of her own, and probably never cared to. It might ruin her figure, which is still impressive one must admit, and that was always her ticket to success. The wine aunts both love her, because just like them she rode a thousand saddles, yet hate her, because she’s stayed slim and actually managed to snag the nebbish beta provider they all long for during their long, lonely nights drunk ragging on Twitter.

Steve’s thesis: If a politician is stubborn about leaving, that means his handlers aren’t real and he’s really in control.

I respect Steve a great deal, but he does seem to be spending cycles denying the obvious--that Joe Biden is a demented front man for other people's policies.

My Peak State theory suggests that often the guy nominally at the peak of the publicly disseminated organization chart, such as President Joe Biden, often has a remarkable amount of power to resist everybody not at the top of the org chart, especially if he is a stubborn old fool. What you see is what you get.

This strikes me as un-insightful. "Duh" territory.

There's no question people at the top of the org chart have power. But what sort of power they have and how "sticky" it is vary all over the map.

-- Dennis Mullenburg was Boeing CEO, but when a couple of the 737-Max planes he had pushed to market went into auto-crash mode, he was soon no longer on the Boeing org chart at all.

-- Boris Johnson wiggled and piggled his way to Conservative Party leader and become Prime Minister but when his shenanigans--"Partygate" seems to have been perhaps the key shove--were sufficient to piss off voters and enough Conservative Party MPs, suddenly he had to resign.

It just so happens that the US Presidency is--by design--a lot more "sticky" than most "top of the org chart" positions. And the Democrats denial of the reality of Biden's capability--denial of empirical reality being par for their course--meant they missed their chance to push him to bow out or get primary-ed out. And the Parasite Party's--current--rules require delegates to vote for their candidate on the first ballot, which means Biden on the ticket.

But neither the fact that the US Presidency is a particularly "sticky" position nor Joe+Jill Biden's roaring egos change the fact that Biden is an old, seriously declined and incapable figurehead and it is a "Biden Administration" of "centrist" Jews running this shit show.

The Democrats Wall Street money guys--presumably mostly Jewish--did not want a Bernie Sanders or Liz Warren style "progressive". They wanted to oust Trump, with someone whose "progressive" policies would be minoritarian mau-mauing against whitey, not mau-mauing against Wall Street looters. Biden as Obama's VP was a credible option to pick up black support and get past white progressive voters who showed no interest in the guy. It worked.

And lo and behold, the "Biden Administration" is chock full of supposedly "centrist" Jews--both chiefs of staff, four of the big five cabinet posts. Meanwhile Joe Biden comes to "work" at 10 and can go maybe to 3, before "sunset". Biden isn't setting policy beyond saying "ok". And the policy set is not the culmination of "what Joe Biden worked his whole life to achieve". Biden's career was simply keeping the finance guys happy and comfortable to keep his job and he was not a notably "racially progressive" (anti-white) politician (e.g. busing, crime)--which is a large part of why Biden chose him as a signal "see look, you white folks don't have to worry".

No this is America's first Jewish administration, with a--yes, stubborn old man--goy figurehead nominally in charge. And apparently what these "centrist" and "adults in the room" Jews wanted to do was make war upon the American people and nation.

That Biden--Joe and Jill--are stubborn and egotistical and cling to the top job--which is possible for the US Presidency in a way that is not possible for most top jobs--doesn't change the reality that other people have been in charge of actual policy and this is "Biden Administration" in name only.

  • Oh good lord. All the swing states have totally compromised electoral systems. ALL of them, the den of GOP thieves Georgia included. The Dems could run a turnip — they kind of are — and it will beat Trump, just like it happened in 2020. Trump will be leading, there will be a sudden need to “stop the counting” or “fix a broken pipe” (that didn’t exist) or whatever the excuse. A zillion ballots will get rolled in, bing bang boom, the turnip wins.

Yeah, what are ya gonna do about it? Nothing, that’s what. Just like happened last time.

Now, there is still a theory that the Derp State might WANT Trump to win, so he’s saddled with a financial system on the verge of imploding, 40 or 50 million illegals who will not go quietly, and a psychotic MIC that wants to fight a war with everybody but can’t even keep their planes in the air.

We are blessed with a leadership class that is BOTH sociopathically evil and morally corrupt, and also stupid and incompetent. So it’s hard to say. And don’t forget, the little bastard judge Merchan might put Trump in prison before the election. I’d say the Great Debate made that more likely than ever, but the machinations run deep, and Merchan is just a tiny cog in the great, grinding wheel.

But Potato Joe does add a crinkle, which is that if Trump goes into the election polling miles ahead and then the same “wait… wait… wait.. wait… Joe wins!” con gets pulled, people will be way less willing to get shafted again. But then, if MAGAs riot, they’ll just shoot them down in the streets. So no problem. And yes, your friendly neighborhood National Guard or military or police will happily gun you down in the streets, honky.

This ignores just how bad "Biden" has been for the American people; as someone who lived through the 1970s, "he's" been speedrunning them. So will this election look like 2020, or more like the 1980 Reagan-Carter landslide? There's talk about New York state being in play this year!

So if there are a lot more swing states the Democrats and corrupt GOPe like Georgia's as you later pointed out might not be able to steal the election with Plans A and B (might try Plan C for coup, though).

And don’t forget, the little bastard judge Merchan might put Trump in prison before the election.

The Supreme Court put a stick in the wheel of that kangaroo, err per America's paper of record they've been complaining about the comparison, circus.

The jury was presented with some facts that arguably were Official Acts. We were pretty sure Merchan would imprison Trump just before the Republican convention started, but now the sentencing is delayed until at least September 18th, "if at all" if some reports about he said were correct. This may also allow for federal court intervention. Yes, there's indeed the very real possibility Trump will be in a NY state prison by the election ... but that doesn't mean he won't win, and won't eventually escape that trap.

The republic is dead as Rome's was for Julius Caeser when he crossed the Rubicon with his troops because he'd also suffer the same fate of illegitimate prosecution, but I think you're overly blackpilling the immediate situation.

And underestimating the many ways "MAGAs" could respond without tipping the country into a hot, shooting civil war. Although that's of course a real possibility ... and there you're ignoring the minor detail of the Deep State going to war with its logistics base.

Here is the FULL quotation from your source.

—Until about 1765 Lopez was primarily interested in coastal shipping to American ports and traded mainly in spermaceti. However, in 1763, he also became interested in transatlantic trade. Transatlantic ventures required greater capital investments than the young Lopez could afford. After Aaron’s marriage to the daughter of Jacob Rodriguez Rivera in 1763, Lopez and Rivera frequently pulled their resources to finance long voyages. In the next few years, they sent a ship to Lisbon, one of the Canary Islands, and several others to join in the African slave trade. Lopez and Rivera were neither the first nor the only Newport Jews to engage in the slave trade. In October of 1762 Isaac Elizer and his partner Samuel Moses sent the sloop Prince George to Africa to pick up slaves for sale in the Bahamas. Lopez and Rivera dispatched their first ship to Africa in the same year.—

  • The dynamics of nearly all these cases are interesting. Back in Washington, DC, you have a gaggle of ultra corrupt but smart, wily lawyers working for Biden. They are nearly all Jews. They dream up the cases and the “approach.” What, you really think that black woman who wore her dress backwards, or nitwit Alvin Bragg could come up with these triple-bankshot prosecutions?

No, the blacks involved are all too stupid. But over and over, the Jews who actually dream up these cases hand them off to nitwit blacks to implement. It’s easy enough to find judges who are weaklings or political partisans, and happy to break all known legal precedents. Why not? Who is going to go after Merchan for his endless series of nonsensical, frequently openly unconstitutional decisions? Places like NYC or Atlanta are progressive hives. There are no other bees in the hive, and they all protect one another.

Now, Republicans could be engaging in similar shenanigans at the state level, but of course they are feckless and useless, and as long as McConnel can keep the Chinese cash flowing and Lindsey Graham can keep diddling boys and get away with it, they’re perfectly happy with scraps from the table.

We need to spin three plates:
1 -- Get people aware of violence-enabling rhetoric being tolerated by the establishment and elites when it targets whites, with the result that Jews die (this is the Failure of Ack Man). This language is prohibited by already existing laws and mores, so fixing it is potentially possible and even quick, but cultural corruption among the educated requires a spreading of the word. This plate, fastest.
2 -- Get people aware of the dangerous worthlessness of our elites. They contribute nothing good to society, and do much that is damaging. This overlaps with the first plate, but requires more exposure and time, so it spins slower.
3 -- Slowest off all, most quietly and gradually, they notice who the elites and, crucially, who the thought leaders reaponsible for the corruption are, and how the rules are always bent for them, like Ack Man's robocopping. This has to be all but allowed to happen on its own.

  • My book tour allowed me to finally spend a few days in Austin, Texas for the first time in my life. It was a lot of fun. I was funny at my dinner for three dozen on Thursday. On Friday I was a little dull at the more public evening for ~150, but, wow, Austin...
  • About ten years ago I went to Austin a lot because my company at the time had an office there. I found the town to be pretty shabby looking overall, with way too many homeless freaks wandering around.

The food is far too Tex-Mex / Mexican focused, though I did have an incredible sushi dinner there. The Austinites are insufferable in how much they mention how “great” their Mexican food is (note: there is no such thing as great Mexican food), and for some reason they are obsessed with breakfast burritos. A breakfast burrito is just an annoying way to eat a typical breakfast, albeit one heavier on stupid chili peppers, and get your hands greasy. Meh. They got angry with me when I said I don’t really care about breakfast burritos and it became like a running joke. Silly people.

Also, one time we went to a “fancy” hipster Mexican restaurant (same crap, slightly better ingredients), and they had cricket tacos on the menu, so of course we tried it. And yeah, it was basically disgusting food that only the Austin hipsters would pretend was delicious. This was before all the “you will eat ze bugs” propaganda started up. No, Klaus, I will not eat ze bugs, because they’re gross.

Ha yea I forgot about that. They talk a lot about their Tex-Mex and queso. If you refer to queso as nacho cheese you could face jail time. They seem to think they invented breakfast burritos.

It has to be the "full-scale invasion" despite it being (in Feb 22) around 200,000 Russian troops against armed forces of a million.

Let's look at the top BBC story on Ukraine, about the nuclear watchdog's report on the mysterious (to the BBC) drone and shell attacks on a Russian-occupied nuclear plant.

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-68757082

IAEA head Rafael Grossi said Sunday's drone strike was "reckless" and "a major escalation of the nuclear safety and security dangers" facing the plant.

The Zaporizhzhia plant, in southern Ukraine, is the largest in Europe. Russian forces seized it shortly after launching their February 2022 full-scale invasion and have occupied it ever since, alongside most of the Zaporizhzhia region.

LOL. The “what you are saying it too dumb so Jews can’t be doing it” defense.

It’s interesting to watch you squirm around to get all literal on my expressions that are obviously figurative, while you like to wildly extrapolate and read non-existent context into the stuff I write straight up “just the facts ma’am” style. I guess that’s Jewish verbal “genius”.

The meaning of “drown the goyim” is crystal clear–maybe not to low-wattage folks, but certainly to you. It means ordinary American white people, my people–the pitchfork people, “flyovers”, “boring white bread” people–the ordinary white people Jews have been whining about, demeaning and mocking for 100 years. The American stand-ins for the ordinary pitchfork people Jews have been hostile to in Europe for hundreds of years. The people who actually settled and built America. The ordinary people Jews have worked to strip the American nation from and make it more “diverse”–i.e. balkanized, contentious, unpleasant–so that Jews will feel more comfortable.

Since Jews routinely show up on the editorial pages advertising their contempt for white (settler) Americans –how immigrants are better, how lazy working class Americans don’t deserve America, how the old white bread America was oppressive, how America has improved with diversity and is being improved with more of it now!, how great it is that whites will be a minority–you hardly need me to make up some “anti-Semitic” fable about Jews. Jews have a tendency to yap–a lot. So it isn’t exactly rocket science to pick up on their attitudes. Jews tell you. Even my goyishe kop can read.

And then there’s the “Biden Administration”–staffed by the supposed “adults in the room” mainstream Jews, saving America from the Nazi Trump. Turns out the Jewish genocidal editorial page anti-white-gentile fantasizing wasn’t just idle talk. Mainstream “adults in the room” Jews do indeed hate and want to genocide the historic American nation … and they are doing it.

So sorry to disappoint you about Jewish “brains” Jack, but “drown the goyim”–i.e. the American goyim–with foreign goyim–to balkanize and destroy the American nation as a coherent nation–is indeed precisely the Jewish strategy. "Anti-white" wasn't a thing in 1945. You can't project Current Year obsessions onto the past any more than you can put black people into Elizabethan England. In 1945, the dividing lines were political (Marxist vs. non-Marxist) rather than racial.

International Style architecture is fundamentally an academic Marxist style. Actual workers didn't like it and Stalin himself didn't like it, but Leftist architects in the West did. The question is how they got to impose their taste on the rest of us?

Marxism only became anti-Western (rather than anti-capitalist) in the context of the Cold War. Marxism is itself a Western ideology (Marx was German and worked in Britain). It was only thru an accident of history that it succeeded in the East against all expectation.

    “Anti-white” wasn’t a thing in 1945.

Susan Sontag wrote “the white race is the cancer of human history” in 1966, literally the starting gate for openly stated hatred against whites. It didn’t simply appear in her neurotic Jewish brain. It was in the air for a long time, only Jews hadn’t quite settled their cultural hegemony in 1945. By the mid 1960s of course they were the dominant group culturally, soon to be so financially. But Jews had been promoting ugly modernism for a long time before Sontag laid out the thought process so brazenly, and ugly modernism is specifically designed to demoralize and weaken white Christian culture.

Certainly not all but many of the worst modern architects, the ones who create truly oppressive and hateful structures, are Jewish. The absolutely virulent, overtly vicious public sculptor, Richard Serra, he of the gigantic and alienating rusty walls, is half Jewish. • Garvey will not win. California is the vote harvesting capitol of America, and Dems spend tens of millions on vote harvesting. Because they are ruthless, know how to win, and have billionaire backers (mostly Jewish) who want to see the world burn.

Meanwhile, the Republican donor class retards just spent hundreds of millions in clearly hopeless attempts to get DeSantis elected, and then shifting to Nimrod-ah, a candidate almost as detestable as Hillary. So instead of spending those hundreds of millions on vote harvesting and get-out-the-vote efforts, like the Dems will do, they basically just burned it. Imbeciles.

Government restrictions on data lead me to ask, “ What will America’s Chernobyl be?” Been rewatching the series recently and one of the main themes of the show is that a government / society that cannot face the truth about itself is doomed to disaster.

I’m not the only commentator here to note the disturbing trends between the current US and late 80s Soviet Union:
    - corrupt gerontocracy
    - declining life span and increasing substance abuse
    - great discrepancy between actual power and self-perceived power
(Great quote from Chernobyl came from the Gorbachev character “Our power comes from the perception of power.”)

I think the root of all of this is a society that is unable to tell the necessary truths about itself. So if we take the analogy all the way, the question becomes, what will be the shock to the system that will force the necessary change? What will America’s Chernobyl be?

“ What will America’s Chernobyl be?”

It will start the night of the election when Trump is declared the winner. Which they are going to allow (he actually will win, of course, just like last time). Immediately following will begin the migrant riots. Which is why millions upon millions have been let in and flown to every city, town and hamlet in America. Feds and antifa will be on the ground in the larger cities stirring the pot. The usual blacks will of course join in the fun and the looting, adding to the mayhem. Reparations! Justice!

Because Trump won’t be President yet, it will allow Biden to declare a state of emergency and martial law. Trump will be arrested for “inciting riots” (baloney, but doesn’t matter). Massive restrictions on movement and speech will be imposed, the internet censored. The election results will be suspended, permanently.

Biden (if he’s still kicking) will resign, Newsom will take over (doesn’t need a Constitutional mechanism because the Constitution will no longer be in force). Full Soviet style, one party tyranny will descend on America. That’s it, that’s the storyline.

Ross correctly conveys anti-whiteness as a more generalized form of antisemitism, and reminds his Jewish readers that the global left will always hate Israel for being whiter than the surrounding Islamic barbarians.

As I noted before, the shift of US Jews from left to right of center is mostly a matter of intermarriage and low fertility of leftists and their demographic replacement by high fertility conservatives.

Nonetheless, the degree and speed in which the worldwide left joyfully endorsed the 10-7 massacres of Jewish civilians should shift the big stock of boomer Jews to the right.

One sign of this is that AIPAC is on track to quadruple its spending this cycle in Dem primaries, while J Street, aligned with the Israeli and American center-left, is shrinking and withdrawing from Dem
    primaries involvement.

The nonsense level is pouring over the dam here at iSteve this morning.

It’s mid-tide here, so not ideal, but maybe time to just bail out and beach walk with AnotherMom.

Anti-whiteness is a Jewish created ideology. All the dismissive “white-bread” stuff and continual insults, lies and abuse directed at whitey, didn’t come from the utter dominance of blacks in Hollyweird, or the media, or academia. It’s been a 60+ year j’accuse–from Jews.

And it has hardly stopped–or even eased up. Quite the contrary. The “Biden Administration” is a bunch of the supposed centrist–“adults in the room”–Jews. And their policy toward whitey has been an openly genocidal “drown the goyim!” open border. Literally, stating that people have the right to come, asking them to come and then busing and flying them into white communities to break, trash and “diversify” them. And, of course, the usual “the Nazis are coming!” abuse toward whites who object.

Seriously give the “Jews and whites are brothers” nonsense a rest. We white folks know how brothers actually behave and Jews do not behave like that. Yeah, we all know about the Stephen Miller style patriot outliers. But American Jews have been the sworn enemy of white people and the continued existence of America as white and Western nation.

    Geez.

It seems to me that NAFTA -like much of the commentary around illegal immigration – is an example of something that theoretically is good for the US economically but comes with a significant human cost that in the long run is a major problem and little upside to ordinary citizens. Too many of our elites look at the US as an economic zone as opposed to a nation with a distinct people and culture that ought to be preserved.

    Very well said, Arclight!

For the Jews seeing the America as just an "economic zone" is just natural. They are middle man minority--marketplace minority--this is how they see and relate to the world. And they saw the American people as an "other"--gentiles, oppressive, potentially hostile. As they've made abundantly clear over the past 60+ years. (A lesson in why you should never let a separate people gain power in your nation.)

But for the WASP elites like the Bush family, this is a huge change. America used to be their nation. A nation of their people, with a particular glorious destiny--under their management. But somewhere along in the "opening up" and then the Jews long march through the institutions--and reordering them--the WASPs just defected to the new order. Lost all sense of stewardship. Just became nothing but global-cosmopolitan fellow travelers. Empty people.

Indeed, there may only be one white, practicing Protestant, and that is Pete Buttigieg, who is best known for being gay. • For Mr. Biden, it was a matter of principle. He wanted to show the world that the United States was a humane nation, while also demonstrating to his fellow citizens that government could work again.

What’s with the assumption that vegetable Joe Biden was behind any of the decisions at all? I don’t know who’s making the decisions in “his” administration, but I’m pretty sure it ain’t him.

But those early promises have largely been set aside as chaos engulfs the border and imperils Mr. Biden’s re-election hopes. The number of people crossing into the United States has reached record levels, more than double than in the Trump years. The asylum system is still all but broken.

The asylum system is broken by design, and no one in Congress seems to have any desire to fix it. Whatever else we do or don’t do with asylum law, the first simple change needs to be a hard ceiling on how many people can receive asylum in any given year.

Perhaps because he’s from meh Delaware, Biden never internalized the lesson that there are countless people out there who want to move to the USA because it’s a better place than the countries that they and their relatives are responsible for…

That assumes that Biden has spent any meaningful amount of time in Delaware in the last 50 years. He spent 44 uninterrupted years in the Senate and as Vice President, then four years out of office from 2017-2021. Probably most of that time was spent in DC, which has achieved Tower of Babel levels of diversity. Perhaps wherever he is he’s simply been in a cocoon. More likely, he’s just too corrupt and ignorant to care.

Joe Biden still seems to live in the world of his youth, in the 1950s Delaware, when it was Irish Catholics vs. Protestants. Very, very few of the people high in his administration – almost none – are white Protestants.

The "Catholics" are pretty much all nominal. Nobody hates the Church like an ex-member, as seen in various revolutions around the globe. Biden's picks, like Joe himself, cover their inner rebellion successfully enough to get by.

As for Protestants, it's like their absence from the Supreme Court. There is no center to them anymore. Biden isn't going to pick a Bible-thumper, and Buttcheek's conversion tells you all you need to know about the other wing.

Also, Homeland is in your top 5 in relevance--really its #1 these days. And what is notable about this administration is not even the glaring lack of white Protestants, it is its utter Jewish domination--almost complete in anything that actually matters. The scared 2% of the population running the country.

You can say Harris is "relevant" in terms of being the ugly blob they are stuck with if Biden actually dies. And there's the black guy at defense, but I doubt he's doing much on the policy side, just crank turning management. Well and then there's Jill--she apparently gets pissed and yells at people when they are lax and let Joe by Joe and embarrass himself.

Jack D, a lawyer who seems to know an impressive amount about cooking (and cars), claims that sourdough is essentially foreign to America. As a Westerner who grew up with sourdough, I disagreed. But maybe we can both have a point, and sourdough baking can become part of the American culinary repertoire as both an immigrant add-on and a holdover from the wagon trains of the early 19th century

The thing is, we'll be richer as a country and people either way. Culture is something you build. It isn't a genetic trait, and because of that we have even more of a right to call it our own, because we either voluntarily took it on or came up with it ourselves.

Like the Italians who embraced Signor Artusi, we as Americans have the right to - and should - interpret our culture as we see fit. Those who scold us and push us around can take a hike. Frozen food is no longer dinosaur shaped chicken paste and Swanson's TV dinners. Thanks to refrigerated containers (set to freezing temperature) you can load a container full of frozen food in Bangkok or Mumbai or Genoa and have it shipped all the way to your your kitchen freezer by way of your local Trader Joes or Indian grocery store. Arguably this stuff if MORE authentic than anything you can have prepared by immigrant cooks in America because not only the preparation but also the ingredients are authentic and local to their place of origin.

BTW this stuff is a whole lot cheaper than restaurant food despite being shipped half way around the globe and being 100% authentic. Not only are their labor costs and ingredient costs lower but any time you buy food from a restaurant (even if you take out) the restaurant has to cover its retail rent, insurance, etc. etc. And the guy who cooked it doesn't have to bring his whole family to America unto the 1,000th generation just so you can have pad thai for dinner.

Not every dish takes kindly to freezing but if you pick and choose properly you can do surprisingly well even if you can't cook worth a damn. Depending on the dish, it may be helpful to heat the dish in a real oven or cook it on the stovetop vs. the usual "stick it in the microwave". And you can dress it up - squeeze some fresh lemon juice onto it, garnish it with some fresh parsley or cilantro, etc.

Nor is this stuff just gringo fare. Go into any Indian grocery store and you will see a large frozen food section - this stuff is made for the Indian market and good enough for Indians to eat. Even if 80% of the people in India are so poor that all they can afford to eat is compressed dirt, they have 1.4 billion people so just the top 20% is almost the size of the entire US market and the top 20% of earners in India can now afford to own a refrigerator and buy frozen food in a supermarket. And you can buy the exact same food.

JackD has observed that the cooks in the kitchens of most non-Asian restaurants in the United States are Latinx. I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of even Asian restaurants in the United States employ Latinx cooks. I’ve seen Latinx working as sushi chefs.

Do Latinx have a particular aptitude for the culinary arts that White people do not have? Mexican food has a very good reputation, but the rest of Central America does not seem to have distinguished itself.

If Latinx can become the foremost cooks in America of all kinds of world cuisine—Italian, French, Spanish, American, German, Indian, Japanese—is there reason to think that White people could not also do the job? Are White people unable to learn? Are they unable to follow a recipe? We know, according to the Narrative, that they at least are good (perhaps too good) at following orders.

Importing more foreigners to cook seems unnecessary when there are so many Latinx in the United States already, and considering that any shortage of them might be filled by White people who are able to follow recipes.

JackD has observed that the cooks in the kitchens of most non-Asian restaurants in the United States are Latinx… Do Latinx have a particular aptitude for the culinary arts that White people do not have?

No, they’re just cheaper to hire and willing to work in lousy conditions. If you go to a truly high-end restaurant, there are no Latinx cooks. Bus boys maybe, but not cooks, other than maybe very white South Americans. The skill and knowledge levels are way to high for the typical border jumper, and the chef and cooks are all white or Asian. The occasional talented tenth black as well.

But here’s the thing. Most cooking is easy. Especially in restaurants where the menu is essentially the same 365 days a year. (High-end resaturants full of white and Asian chefs often change their menus on a daily basis.)

If Latinx can become the foremost cooks in America of all kinds of world cuisine

They are nowhere near the “foremost cooks,” as I’ve explained. They make easily repeatable food, no matter the cusine, because basically anyone willing to work long hours in lousy conditions for low pay can do it. (Well ok, a lot of blacks can’t because they don’t have the discipline, and many younger whites don’t have the stamina.) I repeat, there is NOTHING MAGICAL about cooking most food. If your mother used to cook at home, did you stare in amazement as if she were doing something extraordinary? Nah, she’s just making dinner. The Salvadoran in the back of Lenny’s Clam Shop is doing the same thing, only he’s doing it 300 times a night, every night. 95% of restaurants are like this. Nothing special, any nitwit willing to work hard can do it.

Who do you think said this, when asked about the southern border and the issue of sanctuary cities?

“You have to have a federal government that can enforce laws. This administration has been fundamentally derelict in not funding any of the requirements that are needed even to enforce the existing laws.”

Would he allow cities to ignore federal law? “No.”

It may seem surprising, but that was Joe Biden — way back in 2007 during the George W. Bush administration.

In those days, the then-senator and candidate for the Democrat nomination for president was talking tough on sanctuary cities.

He warned that in these cities, stores ended up closing and the cities themselves became “dumpsters.”

This is why I use “Biden Administration”. Biden has never been a man–person who stood for anything. He’s always been an empty suit servicing his banking/finance paymasters. But he was never notably an anti-white/minoritarian. His positioning was normal white-guy center-left–racially moderate, against busing, for locking up criminals, etc. Obama put him on the ticket, not because he was a soul-mate, but to reassure the more centrist and working class Democrats (traditionally they had to con a decent number of white normies to win) “hey normal white guy”. He’s never shown any particular zeal for immigration, much less the whole contemptible “they don’t deserve America”, “immigrants are better people” replace whitey shtick.

Hence, I conclude the Biden Administrations core policy–the “drown the goyim!” open border–is because Biden is pretty much a husk and this is the first Jewish administration. All the ethnic hostility, the hatred/denial of the fact America was founded, settled, built by a particular people, the default anti-nationalism tick and immigration zealotry … just let loose in reaction to ousting the Nazi Trump. So these supposed “adults in the room”–and not stupid people–gave us a policy so silly and stupid it’s like something from some Jr. High girl’s “we are the world” essay or a Robert Bartley editorial.

So let me get this straight: walking, lifting weights, and "very high impact, short duration" sprinting -- none of that qualifies as "vigorous exercise" to you? If it does, then admit it: by "largely correct", what you're really trying to say is "wrong".

I don't think either he or Biden is driving a treadmill for an hour at a stretch, so that's a bit of a red herring, but realistically, how much weightlifting and sprinting -- of any duration -- do you think Trump is doing in any given week? Granted, hauling your weight over even a hallway or two technically qualifies as some serious weightlifting for a man of his girth, but I'm not sure that counts in the way you seem to want it to.

Much of America's obesity problem is due to overeating and sedentary lifestyle, period. Trump started his presidency with the Republicans in control of the House and the Senate. At the end of four years, Democrats controlled all three. In the end, Trump's biggest accomplishment was a budget busting tax cut that added $4 trillion to the national debt that will eventually have to be paid back with interest.

Other than postponing some taxes and moving a higher tax burden to younger generations, what else did Trump do that lasted past his being in office. Maybe the change in regulations at the Department of Education where Devos and her staff followed the administrative law rule to pass regulations that would takes years to change?

Ted Lieu is a pestilential rodent himself, and a nitwit twink to boot, and he exemplifies PeterIke’s Law that Asian immigration will be toxic for legacy America. That said, he’s right that glue traps are terrible, but he wants this to be a FEDERAL issue? Right now, when the nation is falling apart in 100 different ways? Sure, let’s spend time and resources on this mouse issue.

As for Jack D, it’s nice to see him admitting, in his usual ham-fisted way (non kosher), that Joos are oppressing us. He’s right! He’s also right that the new Asian overlords will be worse, in some ways anyhow. But what he doesn’t bring up is how the Jews are teaming up all over with the Asians, to knock down whitey. Look at the Biden administration: loads of Jews running the show, vast numbers of Indians at the second tier levels, implementing the Jew orders.

Only thing is, once they achieve enough political and economic force, the Asians will be happy to push the Jews out of the way. The Indians especially. The Chinese are too busy inter-marrying with Jews (Chinese have zero racial pride and will mate with anything).

My only hope is that the Asians are using woke as a way to power, and a way to suck up to the Jews that they need right now, but they don’t really mean it. Same way Jews were all about the labor union movement until they gained economic power, and then went on to invent corporate raiding and outsourcing, crushing American labor forever. Jews never gave two dreidels about “working people,” it was simply a path to power, much like Jewish organized crime (100x worse than Italian).

So once Asians get on top of the heap, they may revert to their more normal, fantastically racist attitudes and finally put the hammer down on blacks and ship out vast numbers of Hispanics. You know, to make room for millions of more Asians. Because that’s how they roll.

The only reason America isn’t 75% Jewish is there’s just not enough of them to go around. America WILL be 75% Asian and Asian/White mix at some point.

But when Jewish spies and industrial espionage practitioners take everything they learn in German universities to America

This is idiotic, which is not unexpected because most anti-Semites are idiots.

Oppenheimer didn't go to Germany (and to England and to Denmark) as a spy but as a student. It's common, then and now, for students to study in foreign universities. This is not called espionage. However, what he studied was quantum mechanics and not nuclear fission because it was unknown at the time.

Hahn, in whose lab fission was discovered decades later, had himself been a student of Rutherford's in England (no one called him a German spy). He knew that he had somehow made barium out of uranium in his lab, which seemed an impossible sort of alchemy like making gold out of lead. It fell to Hahn's Jewish students , Lise Meitner and her nephew Otto Frisch to provide the explanation for what had happened in Hahn's lab. Unfortunately, by the time they did so, they were living in Sweden because the Nazis had chased them out of Germany.

I guess the students exceeded the masters because the Germans themselves couldn't figure out how to make a bomb. In part they were impeded by the idiotic Deutsche Physik movement, which opposed Einstein's work on the grounds that it was "Jewish science". It turns out that there is no such thing as German physics and Jewish physics, just correct physics and incorrect and the German kind was incorrect.

Maybe the Nazis should have thought of this before they expelled their most brilliant (Jewish) scientists. In WWI, the Germans kept their brilliant Jewish scientists like Fritz Haber and they contributed mightily to their war effort instead of fighting for their enemies. But the Nazis were so blinded by Jew hatred that they shot themselves in the foot.

After the war, the center of physics, chemistry, etc. shifted from Germany to the US along with the Jews. Most of the top universities in the world today are in the US and hardly any are left in Judenrein Germany. Somehow, without their Jewish "spies", German universities were never quite the same again.

Well thank goodness. So now I can stop worrying about the 350,000 or so Chinese students who study in America every year, and the many thousands hired by US government and businesses, because now I know they aren’t spies. And DEFINITELY back in the 20s through the 50s there were no Jews involved in spying, or in the Communist party. I mean if you don’t count half the Roosevelt administration and 90% of the Jews in America at the time.

  • @joelc
I'm pretty much a hipster leftist when it comes to cars in the city. I think we need to redesign all cities to make it as inconvenient and as expensive as possible for cars to be driven in a city. Removing a ton of roads, most parking lots, making a ton of streets pedestrian-only, giving a ton of space to bikes, even more space still to tramways. This is the sort of city I dream of, I hate what cities are now. I'm a reactionary on that, but others may see this as pure leftist environmentalism.

So yes, even if the pedestrian is to blame, the driver should still be jailed for manslaughter almost by default. When people fear 15 minutes cities, I'm like... sign me up to the WEF. If that's the thing you fear, you must love your Wal Mart and Amazon dystopia a lot. Not seriously trusting the WEF, but to me a return to small businesses in mix-use residential areas is obviously an ideal, not something to fear. Less cars, less parking lots, less supermarkets, more small businesses, that's the kind of society I'd love to live in. Walkable everywhere with tramways, trains, metros available around the clock. It is merely correcting the mistakes we've been making in our decadence of the past 60 years.

You forget an important element : Netanyahu. He is Trump's Old World Alter Ego. Trump wins with a majority of electoral votes, thanks to Likud intervention in the Swing States, but he has only 43% of the popular vote, though it may be argued that it is due to massive immigration voting in already wall-to-wall blue states. Trump has been in favour of an all-out military intervention on the side of Israel to destroy Gaza and bases his campaign on the fear that most new immigrants called by Biden are pro-Palestinians, many of them members of the Hamas or of the Mexican gangs or both. Biden has been assassinated to be replaced by Newsom, who pushes for an all-out Green New Deal and faces preachers who say ecology is God's business, not man's, and clearly state that the end of the world is preferable to the end of free enterprise.

Finally Trump is reelected by his Great Electors, but many states don't acknowledge his election as valid, and Newsom claims to be the legitimate president of the American democracy. Trump answers that America as intended by the Founding Fathers is a constitutional republic not a mere mob-o-cracy, that he has nothing against new immigrants but that they have to give the proof they are good Americans before being entitled to vote : he principally refers to those immigrants having been accepted as soldiers who will fight for Israel and then be given the American citizenship. Trump clearly states that the US have to stand as a meritocracy first, which implies that voting rights have to be merited and that the liberals who spit upon American traditions should lose their right to vote and be given only a green card until they prove again their faithfulness.

Newsom is not against meritocracy but starts holding a communist discourse : democracy must come first and no one should be barred from being an American citizen by being born in the wrong part of the world : anyone who masters proper American English and/or Esperanto and speaks or uses it two hours per day or more, even if only on Facebook or other social networks and has never been censored for wrong opinions is a de facto American citizen even if he hasn't started migrating. Newsom declares Denver to be America's New Capital, the real shining city on a real hill.

Trump on his side agrees with making English obligatory with the difference that the second language allowed and taught as such in all schools will be hebrew. Trump also adds that the only religions allowed in America will have to acknowledge the Seven Noachide laws as the basis of their morality. Trump acknowledges Israel's sovereignty over the DC : one who resides there resides in Israel and votes in Israeli elections which means in practice only if he is a Jew. All Israeli citizens can vote in US presidential elections. Trump proclaims the US and Israel to be joined at the hip.

On his side, Newsom manages to gain the backing of the UN as he sides with the Palestinian cause.

In practice America has entered cold civil war with the Union being divided into two. The Red States outlaw the Democratic party for national treason and for antisemitism, and the Blue states outlaw the Republican Party for crimes against humanity and against the planet.

  • A great historic challenge for the American republic was reconciliation between the North and South following the Civil War. The country remained deeply divided in the late 19th Century. For example, baseball had become the "national pastime" in the North during the Civil War as soldiers killed time playing baseball in Union army camps. Up...

Actual contemporary Jews did not find "country club antisemitism" to be all that concerning. The only people who bring up "country club antisemitism" are (1) clueless liberals who have run out of things to complain about and (2) antisemites as a way of showing that American Jews had it really good and were complaining about trivialities. #2 being most heard from on Unz.

It's true that American antisemitism was (in comparison to the European kind) mostly free from violence and not officially supported by the government. The big issue in America was always black vs. white and not Jew vs. Gentile so most of the discriminatory energy was directed toward blacks and not Jews.

The whole "country club antisemitism" thing was retconned by a later generation. Jews at the time mostly preferred their own clubs anyway. The usual kvetch about "country club antisemitism" is "My GRANDFATHER was denied admission to [name local WASP Country Club] here. Not "I" but "my grandpa". And for every Jew who actually says this, there are ten Men of Unz to pounce on him.

Real American Jews at the time opposed "college admission antisemitism". They opposed "hiring antisemitism". They opposed "getting a bank loan antisemitism". They opposed "having my company hired as a contractor antisemitism". These things were real and affected a lot of people and hit them in their pocketbook. The snooty country club and resort anti-Semitism was slightly grating because it classified Jews as 2nd class citizens (blacks were 3rd class) but it really didn't affect the day to day life of most Jews, especially not the recent immigrant masses who were not up to the country club life yet anyway.

Another long forgotten aspect of American life is how the earlier generation of German Jews were disgusted by the mass arrivals of the dirty Ost Juden. The German Jews were well assimilated, wealthy and weren’t causing social turmoil. Then along come all these gangsters, hoodlums, criminals, sex perverts, etc. who made them look bad and spun up anti Jewish feelings (as well they should have).

Well naturally, that’s a long time ago and the Eastern Jews, unlike their Italian mob compatriots, were able to turn their organized crime wealth into legitimate businesses, media control and massive political power, and here we are. Nobody remembers the German Jews anymore. It’s all Harvey Weinstein now.

Lincoln was the greatest tyrant in American history.

In the first four months of his presidency, he created a complete military dictatorship, destroyed the Constitution, ended forever the constitutional republic which the Founding Fathers instituted, committed horrendous crimes against civilian citizens, and formed the tyrannical, overbearing and oppressive Federal government which the American people suffer under to this day. In his first 4 months, he:

    1. Failed to call Congress into session after Fort Sumter – in direct violation of the Constitution.

    2. Called up an army of 75,000 men from each Union state, bypassing the Congressional authority – in direct violation of the Constitution.

    3. Unilaterally suspended the writ of habeas corpus, a function of Congress, violating the Constitution. This gave him the power, as he saw it, to arrest civilians without charge and imprison them indefinitely without trial—which he did.

    4. Ignored a Supreme Court order to restore the right of habeas corpus, thus violating the Constitution again and ignoring the Separation of Powers which the Founders put in place exactly for the purpose of preventing one man’s using tyrannical powers in the executive.

    5. When the Chief Justice forwarded a copy of the Supreme Court’s decision to Lincoln, he wrote out an order for the arrest of the Chief Justice and gave it to a U.S. Marshall for expedition, in violation of the Constitution.

    6. Unilaterally ordered a naval blockade of southern ports, an act of war, and a responsibility of Congress – in violation of the Constitution.

    7. Commandeered and closed over 300 newspapers in the North, because of editorials against his war policy and his illegal military invasion of the South. This clearly violated the First Amendment freedom of speech and press clauses.

    8. Sent in Army forces to destroy the printing presses and other machinery at those newspapers, in violation of the Constitution.

Arrested the publishers, editors and owners of those newspapers, and imprisoned them without charge and without trial for the remainder of the war, all in direct violation of both the Constitution and the Supreme Court order aforementioned.

    9. Arrested and imprisoned, without charge or trial, another 15,000-20,000 U.S. citizens who dared to speak out against the war, his policies, or were suspected of anti-war feelings.

    10. Sent the Army to arrest members of the legislature of Maryland to keep them from meeting legally, because they were debating a bill of secession; they were all imprisoned without charge or trial, in direct violation of the Constitution.

    11. Unilaterally created the state of West Virginia in direct violation of the Constitution.

    12. Sent 350,000+ Northern men to their deaths to kill 350,000+ Southern men in order to force the free and sovereign states of the South to remain in the Union they, the people, legally voted to peacefully withdraw from, all in order to continue the South’s revenue flow into the North.

I hate to tell you this, but whiteness is not everything. Whites from outside the Hajnal line are not the same as whites from inside.

Jamaican blacks have quite a different history than American blacks. There are some urban gansta types from Kingston but those from the rural parts of the island are really quite nice and not unintelligent. My carpenter for many years was Jamaican and his son is a doctor. They speak about American blacks in terms that would make George Wallace blush.

It’s good to see the WaPo admitting things that have been obvious for a very long time, but their story is still chock full of fantasy and delusion. Oh and oops, another thousand Ukrainians died today for this useless Jewish war.
