We are in for certain the most avoidable and deliberate crisis in the history of America. None of this needs to be happening. There are no powerful natural forces leading to this point. The basic enforcement of existing law would have saved our border, our elections, our cities, and our foreign policy, and the laws had to be quietly suspended in every case to ram through the agenda.

At the wife's insistnce I went to HerseyPark in PA last weekend. Overall, the sea of humanity was horrific - but the "whites" we some of the worst. Women with random ugly tattoos all over their body, etc. I noticed that since everyone has tattoos now, the people who used to get them to "rebel" have had to up their game - they get neck and face tattoos. I am actually rooting for America to collapse at this point.

The first five listed are benefit programs for the old, disabled and injured. The one qualification on that is that about 4.5% of all Social Security benefits are paid out to survivors. Liberals in general are spiteful and it has gotten worse. They don't like to see others do well. Single liberal women especially don't want to see someone else get a boyfriend. The liberal men can be similar but in different areas. They don't like to see another man get a raise or promotion. Envy drives liberalism and liberalism drives envy. It's very unhealthy.

But yes I think men and women should help others connect whether it be in business, romance, etc. It's called a society.

Well I share quite a bit on my time working with liberal women in the city. The most surprising revelation was how rarely they date outside their race. They really didn't date blue collar White guys either unless they made a decent amount of money. These women all seemed to think that a college educated White guy with minimal height/salary/fitness was out there for them. Half probably became cat moms. Some figured out the truth and did ok but the colleges are really churning out these indoctrinated women with liberal arts degrees. An open position that didn't require strong technical skills would have at least 150 applicants and many of those would have masters degrees. They would have women with a private school degree offering to fly across the country for a low paying job.

It was also surprising how few actually went out. They weren't out slutting it up like Sex and the City. They would go home and watch TV with a dog or cat. One had a dog with a name like Rob and for months I thought it was a boyfriend. She would say stuff like "Rob and I are going to the beach for the weekend".

Anyways I would rather work in a men's prison than work around that many women again. Especially liberal women. Ugh. Too much estrogen and fuzzy headed liberal beliefs. I don't mind working with women in a mixed office but that was too much.

No, the problem is that affirmative action characters cannot have any depth. You can't cast an actor to represent the entire Black race only to slander them by him being dumb, buffoonish, greedy, cruel, or having any other moral failing. He must be wise, strong, powerful, loyal, and most importantly FIERCE. The only faults he can have are being too loyal, too moral, too smart for his own good, and most importantly other characters discounting him due to their racism. Damn legacy of antebellum slavery being so powerful that it poisons the minds of Middle Earth and Westeros!

So, you're left with stupid characters with no depth. The Black Targaryen has no purpose other than to look cool and FIERCE. I refuse to watch Rings of Power, but I imagine Negrolas the Elf and Black Dwarf Woman are the same.

There are other corollaries to this rule, also. Because you can't punch down, no Hollywood screenplay will ever again be written with a villain who is not a white, 100% straight, right-wing man. Every movie will basically be a mashup of Sum of All Fears and Selma, with a European aristocrat trying to bring back fascism and denying little Black girls fair educational opportunities along the way.

One need not like Trump [and I suspect Sailer is not a huge fan] to recognize how illegitimate much of the opposition to him has been. Remember, the face of the anti-Trump GOP is none other than the daughter of Dick Cheney. If I were his kid, I would change my name and keep my head down for life. But Liz revels in continuing her unaccountable father's Satanic legacy. Finally someone with something to say rather than blaming the collapse in marriage rates on women's sluttiness. I disagree about the age range somewhat; I believe you can start 10 years earlier. It's the early 90s when young adults started living the low-income, low-status lifestyle of a student well into their 30s. It does seem the life events (getting a decent paying job) that might trigger the decision to marry aren't happening to enough young people at a predictable date (within 6 months of graduation). A cultural issue that does play a part is that females are expected to have academic credentials and successful careers to be desirable mates nowadays. Self-esteem issues on the part of both sexes probably have a lot to do with pretending not to mind living in a dump and that the too many casual, transitory relationships don't bother you either.

Our fearless host used to write about affordable family formation though of late prefers slut-shaming to analysis. One wonders if the younger generations' frivolity isn't contagious. Anyway, my theory is we stay in lockstep with our peers all through school often finding ourselves unequal to the task of coping with the much less predictable and structured real world. Regressive behavior patterns then emerge as a consequence of not being able to transition to the next phase of adult life. Those who didn't suffer the same fate either mock the unfortunate mercilessly due to vicarious humiliation or schadenfreude because those struggling are young; or they claim falling away from traditional values is the problem with the solution being a return to such values. Like you, I suspect that economic issues play a large part in the social dysfunction we're observing. Managing the economy so good jobs are plentiful for college grads is certainly a good idea but I think we should go further as a society by preparing young people to cope well no matter how the economy is performing.

BTW, I know a bunch of folks here will call me a whimp or a cuck and argue we should fight for every inch of ground--a feeling I certainly respect.

But I think it is time, we admit that America is not coming back--intact. That we are two separate nations--America and "Rainbow"--occupying intermingled real-estate. And it is time to separate.

Rather than a hot war--or worse, dying off to satisfy these turds--I suggest promoting the very decent and civilized principle of "self-determination of peoples". They don't govern us, we don't govern them. And work for a peaceful separation.

BYU hauled a guy out of the gym, and banned him from sports events. The university quickly issued the typical groveling apology.

But -- and it's of course hard to believe -- things may not be quite as they seem. The local police did an investigation, and no one other than Rachel Richardson can be found who heard anything like a racial slur. There's no video or phone evidence whatsoever.

South Korea has again recorded the world's lowest fertility rate with the number sinking to a new low.

The rate in the country first dropped lower than one child per woman in 2018.

But on Wednesday, figures released by the government showed the figure had dropped to 0.81 - down three points from the previous year, and a sixth consecutive decline.

 

Women in South Korea are highly educated, yet far from equal in the workplace. The country has the highest gender pay gap of any rich country. Most of the housework and childcare in South Korea still falls to women and it is common for women to stop work after having children or for their careers to stagnate.

Essentially, many women here are still forced to choose between having a career and having a family. Increasingly they are deciding they don't want to sacrifice their careers.

I agree, California isn’t cheap but some things are good values.

1. Property tax starts at 1% and can’t go up more than 2% a year. After 10-20 years you are paying maybe 0.3%.

2. Low AC requirements, and gas heating is cheap and not needed as much as elsewhere.

3. Big undeveloped or very lightly developed open spaces dominate the big cities and suburbs. Residential lots can be smaller without feeling cramped.

4. Quality fresh produce is the overall cheapest in the USA. Citrus for 5 or 10 cents a pound in season.

There’s a certain level of tasteful and elite living you need very expensive housing for. When you have an area of 2000sf homes on small lots and strong anti-development zoning that cost $1.5 million or more, you have an area where the people are quality, but lack the space to be gaudy and ostentatious. You can also have a nice walkable street life, which you miss if you are in a Dallas or Atlanta suburb of 1.5 million homes that are on half acres and 5000sf and nobody walks anywhere, and may lack sidewalks. I don’t think those areas are bad, but it is nice California has both big pimpin’ mcmansion exurbs and lots of classy inner suburbs.

Ultimately though, the high cost of California homes is illusory, homes here are actually free to most homeowners. My down payment and past ten years of mortgage and property tax payments add up to about $400,000. My tax deductions and equity buildup have been at least a million. The “rent” on my house has been essentially $5,000 of profit per month, year after year, and possibly never taxed due to stepped up basis of capital gains at death.

Maybe the gravy will stop running at some point, but we are more than 100 years into a multigenerational growth market, and our biggest source of new funds, tech nerds and Chinese, are both trending richer.

California is 5.4% non-hispanic black compared to 13% in the other 49 states. More Jews+Chinese here than Blacks. SF area has the highest per capita GDP in the world for large metropolitan areas.

It isn’t for everyone, but it has its charms.

How could it be that high? Or are three-fourths of them lying just to get an AA advantage in admissions? I have to think it is the latter. That many cannot really be LGBTQ otherwise the average LSAT score of these schools would plunge.
