Last week, the Senate voted on a $468 billion spending bill filled with over 6,000 earmarks.

The bill contains more than 6,000 earmarks detailed over 605 pages which include:

$4 million for a waterfront walkway in New Jersey
$3.5 million for Detroit’s Thanksgiving Parade float maker’s new headquarters
$1.75 million for the Met (The Metropolitan Museum of Art) in New York City
$1 million for an environmental justice center in New York City
$500,000 for gardens in San Francisco
$1 million to a non-profit in Minnesota to build a coffee shop and a greenhouse for refugees
$1 million to help San Francisco organic dairy farmers
$500,000 for a “cybercrime vehicle” for the Honolulu police department
$1.2 million for bike path resurfacing in Rhode Island
$209,000 for HVAC replacement for the “Charles Town Opera House” in West Virginia
These are only ten of the over 6,000 wasteful earmarks included in the spending bill that is funding half of the government. In a couple weeks the uniparty in Washington will come back to fund the other half of the government, and if there were 6,000 earmarks this week, I’m guessing they’ll have 6,000 next week.

This type of excessive, wasteful spending is what is bankrupting our nation and driving up costs for Kentuckians across our Commonwealth. We can’t continue like this, and I for one will continue fighting against reckless spending that is driving up costs and driving down the value of your dollar.

U.S. citizens with a marriage certificate issued from Kentucky can now enter their marriage information through the Social Security Administration’s online application to request a “name-change” replacement SSN card, without visiting a field office or card center.

The online application is the easiest way to obtain a replacement SSN card.

Dr. Rand Paul Fights to Secure U.S. Border While Others in Congress Send Billions More Overseas

This past week in Washington, we started the week by receiving a 300+ page, $118 billion Border/Ukraine/Israel/Taiwan package that was crafted behind closed doors by Senate Democrats and Republican Leadership. The package, which was dubbed by Republican Leadership as a “border deal,” was released Sunday night to members and expect to be passed by the week’s end.

This “border deal” did nothing to secure our border, and passing it into law would have worsened the border crisis. Not only did it allow 1.8 million illegal aliens to enter the U.S. before temporarily closing parts of the border, but it also codified Biden’s catch-and-release policies.

And that’s not even the most egregious part, it not only failed to secure our border, but out of the $118 billion spending package, Senate Democrats and Republican Leadership allocated just 16 percent of that to the U.S. border. The rest of the funds, 84 percent or about $98 billion were set to be sent overseas to help defend other nations’ borders. Ukraine, the biggest beneficiary of all, was to receive $60 billion more to fund their war, in addition to $7.85 billion for the lavish salaries of Ukrainian bureaucrats.

Thankfully, that bill was killed.

On Wednesday afternoon, with the help of several conservative Republicans in the Senate, we were able to stop the fake border bill from being further considered.

Our victory was short-lived when, yet again, Senate Democrats and Republican Leadership colluded to put forward their backup plan, which is a $95 billion foreign aid package for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan.

[That mention of “Israel,” took all of Paul’s courage. But give him credit for having some.]

Image The package includes $60 billion for Ukraine – this is on top of the previous $113 billion Congress has given them. It also includes $9 billion in humanitarian assistance for Gaza, which will more than likely end up in the hands of Hamas terrorists.

So, while our U.S. borders remain wide open, Senate Democrats, Republican Leadership, and President Biden are gearing up to ship your hard-earned tax dollars overseas without even addressing our needs at home first.

It’s a terrible idea to put forward and pass a bill that tries to secure other countries’ borders before we secure our own. We need to address our problems here at home in a real way.

This bill sends a message to Americans that their elected officials don’t care about them. As I travel around our Commonwealth, I’ve never met any Kentuckian who says, “fix the border of Ukraine before you fix our border.”

Those in Congress, like me will continue to defend the Constitution, protect your tax dollars, and fight against policies that do nothing but hurt you, the American people.

Dr. Rand Paul Leads Letter to Senate Leadership on Proposed Border Bill

Recently, as Ranking Member of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, along with Senators Rick Scott (R-FL), Ron Johnson (R-WI), Roger Marshall (R-KS), and Josh Hawley (R-MO), all members of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee (HSGAC), sent a letter to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY).

The letter urges that any proposed bill affecting border security should undergo careful consideration by the committees of jurisdiction, which includes HSGAC.

In the letter, we stressed the need for all members to be afforded the opportunity to thoroughly review and consider any proposed changes that have significant consequences on our nation’s security, immigration system, and taxpayers.

We also requested that the government officials tasked with implementing these proposals testify publicly to enhance transparency and ensure members are fully informed of the potential consequences of these changes prior to consideration on the Senate floor.

I agree with everything that you wrote. The ENTIRE U.S. government is completely out of control.

Here in NE Tennessee, my new home state for the past six years, I have been seeing chemtrails in the sky. The first time that I noticed them was on 10 April 2023, then on 23 September 2023, then on 24-November 2023 and also just recently.

A couple of weeks ago, I had a medical test done at a nearby city, passing through the county seat. I took my laptop computer with me, as I was planning on having a visit with the county sheriff. I stopped in at the sheriff’s department, but he was not available. A couple of young female sheriff’s deputies came out to find out the purpose of my visit.

I told the deputies that I had some pictures on my computer, hoping that the sheriff could see them and to get his “take” on the matter. As it turned out, the battery in my computer had run down and I was not able to access the pictures.

One of the deputies asked me what the pictures were of and I told her that they were pictures of the SKY. She then said to me, “Oh, you mean the chemtrails?” She used the exact word “chemtrails” – before I was able to say the word!

I asked them what they could tell me about the chemtrails and was told that it was a “federal matter” and “was under investigation.” I asked them WHO was doing the investigating and was told that it “was above their pay grade” and that they would get into trouble if they discussed it any more.

I then told the two deputies that I had left my name, address and phone number with the receptionist and that if the sheriff or any other law enforcement person wanted to stop by my house and talk with me, I would be very happy to talk to them, as I had nothing to hide.

The visit to the sheriff’s office CONFIRMED my belief in the so-called chemtrail “conspiracy theory.” It is NOT a “conspiracy theory.” It is a conspiracy FACT.

I thought the “history lesson” part of the interview was the best one. It was something new and unusual. You could see Tucker getting nervous that the interview would be a flop, given most Americans’ ignorance and lack of interest in even recent history (i.e. post-2009).

Putin’s quips about CIA and Nord Stream were funny too.

(By the way I am pretty sure that Tucker is CIA, just like his father was, and the “rejection” is just a cover story).

Personally, I do not support democracy, at least not universal suffrage democracy, but I don’t think the people are that stupid, that they can’t even see an interview without their minds being conquered. This is a very extreme view, to frame the population as little children like this.

You imposed your personal beliefs within your summary of Vladimir Putin‘s answers to Carlson‘s questions. This interview was not of you, but of Vladimir Putin. Despite that, and a few other oddities in your overview, You did an excellent job. Your portion that covered/exposed Carlson’s (his controlling Zionist Oligarchs’) public views regarding China, were a nice added accent.
