I've been thinking some more about a book by Susan Rogers, who was Prince's sound engineer on Purple Rain and then got a cognitive science Ph.D., called This Is What It Sounds Like about the appeal of popular music. I feel like I didn't give enough examples from the 1970s when I reviewed it awhile...

Long hair among guys went fully mainstream around 1989. Heck, even when short in the front a lot of guys had mullets in the early 90's. Among guys born after about 1975, there's no taboo regarding long hair, they never had a football coach threaten to cut them from the team if they didn't cut their hair (I've worked with guys born in the late 70's who told me that they used to have longer hair, back in the 90's).

    Replies: @dcite

Long hair was mainstream in the early 70s, as a lot of photos and ads from the era will show. It was cooler to be shorter haired by the late-70s. By the 90s nobody cared much one way or the other..

    • Replies: @Yojimbo/Zatoichi
    @dcite

But since the mid. '90's and right now into today 2022, most white men have shorter hair. There is a trend among younger black men to have multi-colored extensions, much as if they were girls at the beauty parlor--just observe rappers and NFLers without their helmets on. Not just dreadlocks, but actual extensions as if they're women.

Idiosyncratic musician Frank Zappa (1940-93), son of a chemical warfare spook, was a leading figure in the CIA-military-complex-led music scene at Laurel Canyon, California, where it turns out, so many of the 1960s - 1970s musical figures were birthed, their members hugely often from Deep State government families ... Jim Morrison of the Doors, son of Gulf of Tonkin incident Admiral Morrison, and many more.

Frank Zappa was essentially a ringmaster for the CIA 'hippie music scene' operations doing their psy-op on USA culture (hedonism & feminism derailing the 'revolution'), which is why Zappa was so 'worshipped', he 'launched careers' with a nod to the Deep State & media complex. Everyone needs to be familiar with the epic work of the late great David McGowan (1960-2015), who wrote:

Frank’s dad Francis Zappa was, in case you were wondering, a chemical warfare specialist assigned to Edgewood Arsenal, the longtime home of America’s chemical warfare program, as well as a facility frequently cited as being deeply enmeshed in MK-ULTRA operations ... Francis Zappa continued to busy himself with doing classified work for the military/intelligence complex.

Frank Zappa [the musician his son] was, by numerous accounts, a rigidly authoritarian control-freak and a supporter of U.S. military actions in Southeast Asia. Frank Zappa never really made a secret of the fact that he had nothing but contempt for the ‘hippie’ culture that he helped create and that he surrounded himself with.

And to what race did those Egyptian Africans belong?

Ancient Egyptians were Black Africans from Nubia (Northern Sudan).

They represented themselves with dark brown skin and braided hair, and that includes their Pharaohs. Below is a statue representing Tutankhamun:

    http://www.shenoc.com/toutankhamon%208.jpg

Here are Nefertiti and Akhenaton (Louvre museum):

Egyptians summarised their views of races in the "Book of Gates", illustrated by Belzoni from within Pharaoh's Sethi 1st tomb. They represented themselves with a brown skin (centre lower row), lighter than that of SubSaharan Africans (top row) , significantly darker than that of Caucasoid Northern Africans/Lybians (top right) and of Persians (bottom right).

    Replies: @OilcanFloyd, @Theodore, @dcite

I’ve looked at hundreds of ancient Egyptian portraits. The paintings are ambiguous. The 3-D ones (carvings in stone for example) are a mixed bag. There are those who obviously have sub-Saharan African looks, but most do not. I could cherry pick some very white looking examples, as you have the black looking ones. But really they look like — Egyptians. They don’t look like anybody else really, but they lean more towards a typical middle-eastern sort of Caucasoid type.. In fact, they look much like they do now. If you go to Egypt you will see. The northern part of the country has persons very white looking by north African standards, while the southern part has more black African looks. Just what you’d expect. And Egyptians did differentiate between the black Nubians and themselves by color, as they differentiated between themselves and the light Hittites, by color among other traits.

    • Replies: @Iris
    @dcite

Many thanks for the elaborate reply.

The Black African origin of Ancient Egypt's civilisation was first established by Senegalese scientist Cheikh Anta Diop in 1954. He did not base his demonstration only on the colour of their skin, as they represented themselves, but also on a large array of evidence stretching to many domains: linguistic, sociological, religious.

His works led to the Unesco organising the Cairo Congress on the Origins of Ancient Egypt, a gathering that the foremost history specialists attended and got their conventional thesis blown to smithereens by Diop.

Diop has produced a rich body of works; the problem is that none of his detractors has been able to produce refutations of the same quality.

To clarify, t "Black Origin" means that the original, first Pharaonic dynasties started in Southern Egypt (Lower Nubia) where there was not, and still there is not, any indigenous "Whites /Caucasoid" population.

The successive Egyptian human settlements came in the following sequential order, moving South, from Lower Nubia, to North, towards the Mediterranean:
    - Nabta Playa circa 10,000 BC
    - Abou Simbel circa 7,000 BC
    - Thebes (Louxor) circa 3,200 BC

Ancient Egyptians, of course, merged with their whiter neighbours as they moved North, but they were the ones bringing civilisation along to places where there was none.

As per the different shades of brown they used to represent themselves, well, we can't understand it because we are not Black. On the contrary, Native Black Africans do differentiate between the different ethnic groups based on face features and nuance of skin colour, and represented themselves accordingly.
People from today's Northern Sudan look different, both in features and skin tone, from those in Southern Sudan. The former are probably the closest cousins to the original Egyptians.

Your views are frankly irrelevant and aren't upheld by able White students that get into elite institutions. As an example, 99% of Harvard students said they voted for Hillary Clinton. The same is true for MIT, Caltech, Stanford, Yale, Berkeley, Brown, the various liberal arts colleges, and so on. Those affected by affirmative action and end up in, say, Amherst as opposed to Harvard because of it, do not share your views. All across the country liberal White students are the ones in support of these policies even when it affects them.

Yet it's less able conservatives who are worried about this. Odd. Why do you care about the outcome of White liberals when they allegedly support your genocide?

Personally, I think affirmative action is wrong and people should be priorotised as individuals. However, once you remove legacy admissions, Whites would in effect have the same proportion and number of students in places like Harvard or UC, but Asians would increase in numbers, and Blacks/Hispanics would decline.

These institutions are not created for your identity. It was not long ago when the White working class was despised, and most White Americans were once in this category -- only a small % are the descendants of landowners and aristocrats.

    Good for Ed.

For Focault, "homosexual" is really all you need to know.

Homosexuals are disordered. Homosexual intellectualism is always disordered and destructive. That doesn't mean there aren't a few homosexuals who love their civilizations--perhaps care about their nieces and nephews--and work to preserve their nations and civilizations. But any intellectualism motivated by their homosexuality--its expression, its desires--will be perverse and destructive.

Homosexuals don't come to preserve and maintain and extend, they come to bugger things up.

He knew he’d been dropped in it, so was heading to the theatre to meet a contact. Funnily enough, Tippett spent several minutes rushing about, clearly trying to find someone just after the assassination. The time Tippett was shot precludes Oswald from being the killer. The Zapruder film shows JFK being violently propelled backward.

Oswald said he was a “patsy” and had admired president Kennedy. He was trying to reach legal counsel and was prevented. He was murdered before he could testify. His widow later, despite feeling she would be murdered herself, claimed he did not kill JFK and had never killed anybody. Oswald’s girlfriend (well, he was no saint), a cancer research student he met in 1963 in New Orleans, tells the story convincingly. Ignore the detractors–she tells only what she knows and when you have read her story, you will think differently.
Another person to read is Christopher Fulton, The Inheritance. It’s about the Cartier watch JFK was wearing at the time of the assassination, and the mercury that adhered to it. For years the CIA was trying to get hold of it and JFK’s secretary, Evelyn Lincoln, had been given it by RFK. It ended up in Fulton’s hands and he put it up for auction, the buyer finally being JFK Jr., who went down a year and half later. Fulton ended up in federal prison for 8 years on trumped up tax evasion charges. The Inheritance makes a great deal of that tragedy make sense. The Mossad may have been involved–many such groups were. But many others had even more reason to kill JFK.

Oswald was not prevented from contacting an attorney. As soon as he was booked, before he was put in a holding cell, he was given a phone to call any attorney he wished. This would be about 3/30-4 central time, 4/30-5 east coast time.

Oswald called NYC information and got the phone number of NYC counsel for the ACLU and member of the communist party John Abt. Oswald, being a member of the communist & porn industry front group ACLU, was familiar with the liberal crusader and CPUSA hero John Abt.

Abt had left for the day. So Oswald left a message. That was about 3/30-4 central time. Oswald was allowed to phone and leave a message for Abt about 5/30 the same evening.

About 8/pm several members of the board of directors of the Dallas Bar Association arrived at police headquarters and spoke with the police chief and others handling Oswald about the importance of coordinating the suspect’s legal counsel with the police investigation.

First, As a suspect Oswald has civil rights that must be respected.
Second, If the president’s killer were convicted, it would be very very bad if his conviction were overturned because of some procedural mistake by Dallas PD during Oswald’s arrest and booking.

Oswald was taken to the visiting room where the Bar Association delegation waited. Oswald informed both the officers escorting him, the police chief and the important prestigious Bar Association attorneys that the only attorney he wanted was fellow CPUSA member, John Abt.

2 phone calls to the attorney of Oswald’s choice made within 3 hours of Oswald’s arrival at police headquarters, the first as soon he was booked. Plus visit from several of the most prestigious attorneys in town in their official capacity as directors of the Dallas Bar Association offering legal representation 5 hours after booking is not

Actually the description in Shakespeare does imply negroid features. That’s what made the marriage scandalous. At lest this is what I recall from a textbook discussion written by reasonably non-pc scholars decades ago. In medieval and later Europe, here was no overwhelming aversion to marriage with Levantine/Arab/middle eastern types. The religion was the problem, more than the ethnicity, unless the Arabs were Christians. Black Africans, however, were another matter.

You're missing the bit where a KEY ISLAMIC BELIEF about paradise is that all black men get to be white.

That's your reward as a black dude. You go through a purifying fire and all your ugliness is burned away and you get to be just as white as everyone else. This was Muhammad's belief when he was specifically asked about being black in paradise. He did not question that being black was inferior. It could merely be overcome through Islam.

Muhammad is "beautiful" because he has a face like a moon (round and white) and bright (white) like a flame. He was "compassionate" because he gave his mulatto nurse and former slave to his adopted son as a wife because it shows he provided even for ugly old women.

You can't say that Islam does not have an intensely racist foundation. Because it does.

    Replies: @dcite

Mohammed claimed blacks would become white in Paradise, because he was speaking in metaphor. White meant radiant, free of earthly dross. It meant that the spirit of the white and black would be of the same hue, depending on their virtues. This was their belief. Most religious teachings started as simple narratives from everyday life (in Christianity they’re called parables), used to represent the spiritual reality. That said, there was a preference for lighter skin throughout Asia.

Actually, in February 2015, Donald Trump on a public stage before a huge audience at the CPAC conference, talking to Sean Hannity, Trump himself brought up the subject of Epstein & Clinton, in which Trump confidently said Bill Clinton would have 'a lot of problems' with 'Jeffrey Epstein's Island', Trump seemingly unworried about any of his own links to Epstein

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uO5TXhrEevs

The Jeffrey Epstein arrest has its oddities, and seems to be a very Jewish & Mossad enterprise itself - perhaps both winding down and extending, the honeypot blackmail scheme which was arguably the purpose of the underage girls and politicians on Epstein's island, that scheme & Epstein's mysterious 'wealth' perhaps largely the creation of ultra-Zionist Jewish billionaire Les Wexner, the original buyer of Epstein's NYC mansion that was 'raided' the other day
    https://www.henrymakow.com/2019/07/epstein-arrest-is-mossad-operation.html

    Replies: @dcite

Trump banned Epstein from his own island after Epstein assaulted the 14 yr old daughter of an employee; Trump also brought testified against Epstein by going to the police himself in 2010. The police publicly commented on that. He was not friends with Epstein, and even any “chummy” acquaintance would not have extended beyond 20o3. The only time he had any flights with an Epstein was catching a ride from Florida to NY with Epstein’s son. It is inevitable that the very rich in NYC, meet and sometimes appear to be “chummy.” But pedos have been arrested in huge numbers since 2017 and assets of known human traffickers were seized in December 2017 causing about 1000 resignations of many CEOs.
Indeed, this is probably a brilliant strategy. All the Trump haters will tune in to see the non-existent connection of Trump and Epstein, just as they tuned in for the non-existent meddling of the Russian’s on Trump’s behalf in 2016. They keep trying. And in the act, they see who the real villains are. Someday people will look back and wonder at how so many could miss what was really happening right under the noses.

Grandmother ovarian cancer inherited by granddaughter through grandma’s son father of granddaughter who inherits granma’s tendency to ovarian cancer.

You just want to start a ridiculous fight because you know nothing about the medical anatomical facts about inheritance. Anatomy courses are concerned about inherited diseases not appearance but the same principles apply.

Just look at you own family or all those tabloid people. For instance Bras Pitts natural daughters look like him, not Angelina Jolie. As the twin boy gets older, he is getting to look like Angelina Jolie.

Bruce Willis’ daughters follow the standard pattern, unfortunately they look like him, not their pretty mother.
On of Arnold Swartchneggers daughters is one of the 20-30% exceptions. She’s lucky she looks like her attractive mother not her coarse featured cave man father.

JFK Jr. as a child bore a striking resemblance to JFK Sr. at the same age. A picture of two years old John Jr. from the back, watching his dad’s helicopter come in , shows a hair whorl and head shape exactly like JFK Sr. People who actually were in the presence of the father and then the son, always remarked on the similarity of body type, general resemblance, and speech.
I’ve noticed most threads dealing with this topic, at least one troll shows up and says things in much the same way from thread to thread.
One way to weaken the Kennedy allure and regret for having missed it, is to claim it is not even theirs. Truly contemptible. JFK knew the enemies he was up against, how unspeakably diabolical and unrelenting they were.
We’ve seen a number of comments attesting to that.
I would recommend “The Inheritance” by Christopher Fulton. The man spent ten years in various prinsons including federal for no clear reason except that he came into the possession (orignally frm Evelyn Lincoln) of the watch JFK wore on the day of the assassination. Mercury specks were in it, proving the gun had to have been one that shot such bullets. JFK Jr. bought the watch. While Christopher Fulton was in prison, someone predicted to him that the ‘son” might go down soon because he knew too much and could move into a powerful position.
Of course he was murdered. That’s as plain as day.

"And you think he is some kind of fraud?"

I don't think he is "some kind of fraud". I'm sure he's 100% a fraud. I've already explained why (see 185).

You can't be elected to the most "powerful" office in the world w/o accepting to serve the real master of the american people - the zio-mafia.

Trump not only accepts to serve the devil but he belongs to the family. Of course everyone he's free to serve the devil: there are lots of advantages(material) in doing so. You can even end up being the most "powerful" man in the world.

And of course the zio-mafia isn't stupid. It's in their own interest that material conditions of the proles that their poodles (Trump, Putin, Merkel, Macron) supposedly serve, are the best possible.

USA is still one of the richest country in the world. Trump can even get his wall. Obama got his health care "reform".

But I'm afraid that doesn't change the FACT that all american presidents since JFK are a fraud because presidents are elected to serve their people and not a foreign power.

Neither would most of the law makers who have slimed their way into places of power in the past 30 years. But guess what, when I immigrated to this wonderful western country, the first thing that they told me was how we are all equal. And the way they said it was like they were expecting me to break into applause. They couldn’t understand that the way I understood their stupid announcement was: “Congratulation, you are now officially an “N” word”. How else should a person interpret it when someone tells you that you are equal with the “N” words. You know what my true political beliefs are? I am a conservative socialist. Or right wing socialist. I believe there should be more equality based on income, not based on race. But, that’s exactly why multiculturalism was invented. Nobody considered Poles and Liths — even Italians and Greeks — as anything other than white, though I did know a Greek guy who got teased during the summer when he came back from the beach.
Not one Pole or Lith, not one Czeck, Slovak, or Ukrainian, would identify as anything other than white. In fact, they seemed a lot more openly and bitterly bigoted than non-east European ethnics, if only because in their city dwellings, they were often surrounded by blacks, and victimized by crimes. I think it may also have been where they came from but I don’t know. They were some of the most bigoted people I ever met and it had nothing to do with “Anglo-Saxon” attitudes. Noam Chomsky discussed JFK in the context of Oliver Stone's film which followed Fletcher Prouty's JFK: The CIA, Vietnam, and the Plot to Assassinate John F. Kennedy. Chomsky scoffed at the idea Kennedy would have ever have countenanced a withdrawal from Vietnam without victory, as people like Schlesinger claimed. Kennedy got elected with phoney missile gaps and as Pres he promised to bear any burden. As Chomsky showed, you only have to look at Kennedy's own statements about Vietnam as the "finger in the dyke" ect ect to see how preposterous it is to think LBJ's reign was a reversal of JFK's.

Chomsky says he is accused of conspiracy theories when he is merely offering an institutional analysis. For example when the board of a corporation say they want to help consumers and protect workers jobs, it is not a conspiracy theory to think they want to make profits and to that end they seek to establish a monopoly, sack workers and influence government to help them.

    .

I discovered U2 as a teenager in the 80s. I immediately liked them

They could rock with the best of them , without the depravity and debauchery of many rock bands. Trips to rehab, leaving illegitimate children around, smashing up hotel rooms, wrecking sports cars never impressed me much

The songs were so uplifting and appealed for real social justice. They spoke out against Irish sectarian violence , Central American juntas and for Amnesty International. They approached these topics in a Christian humanist way, not in a left-wing" Im socially superior to everyone else' way.

Their albums were real growers. There were so many not-so-obvious gems in them - Mothers of the Disappeared, A Sort of Homecoming, Drowning Man, One Tree Hill, Acrobat

Concerts were stunning., full of positive energy , And they plowed all the money they made back into the concerts. Sony invented all this new technology for the Zoo-TV tour . Bono had the live charisma of Jim Morrison

They didn't charge as much as they could for concerts, making them as affordable as possible ( though that may have been to guarantee a sell out, which looks better) I heard stories of their people going into the nosebleeds and bringing fans into front row seats (which were dominated by industry people)

Every album sounded different. war, the Unforgettable Fire, The Joshua Tree, Achtung Baby didn't resemble each other but were all amazing

    That's why I liked U2

Now they are a joke. The music is crap. They look ridiculous prancing around like they are cool rock stars. Rather like a middle-aged woman carrying on like she still has sexual power.

My guess for the decline is they got to old and too rich. They finally ran out of ideas for new music. And their lifestyles don't help with creativity. Bozo lives in the San Remo overlooking Central Park hanging out with people knowing how to massively game the system . Great life but not conducive to making great art. It matters who you surround yourself with.

What nonsense. Fact: in California up until 1970, there was no tuition to attend state universities. Go and look it up. Anybody with a good GPA could enroll at UCLA, UC Berkeley, UC Davis, etc. It was paid for through income taxes, property taxes etc just like high school is funded across the country. It was Reagan who ended that most excellent program, arguing 'everybody should pay for their own college' or some similar asshole conservative talking point. And look at what has come to pass: the capitalist swine in USA have commodified higher education, making getting a degree in USA the most expensive in the world. What an unmitigated disaster: so now universities must run begging to corporations for donations and charge sky high tuition. Only an asshole like Betsy DeVoss and her ilk would be proud of such a disastrous outcome from cutting federal and state funding of university.

Americans always amuse me with their myopic, limited perspective on college education: they never look to other countries to see how they fund university. "What!? Free university education!? Impossible! That's....erm....communism and communism is BAD goo-goo ga-ga" Why is it that Germany, Norway, Sweden, Czech Republic, etc etc have no problems providing free university education to its citizens? Because these countries have been filled mostly with their own people. They understand the abilities and behavior of those people from long years of history, and know who will be using the system and for what ends. Some also use a filtering system around the age of 12 and put kids on a certain school track, college bound or not. You wouldn’t want that, would you? And they were fairly prosperous. The United States is full of all kinds of people who streamed in here from god knows where, many just to game the system. And damned if my tax money is going to pay for their college education when I, and many like me, ordinary middle class people, had to work our way through school. Sometimes I think most college is scam. I just don’t want to be double scammed, paying for other peoples’ college education.

  • I have found these “studies” tiresome, goofy, and divisive, for a long time now… but “library science” in that list of the un-needed “studies?” The library world is certainly changing. However, since the 1980s, library courses are heavily computer oriented and those with the inclination, became programmers of some sort and their professional can get quite “technical” so to speak. The earliest forms of confederated search engines were developed in libraries in the 1970s, years before the internet became public. A good library/librarian benefits staff in organizations, and in academia. The better students and staff are the ones who tend to avail themselves of the benefits, although I sat in a meeting where one IT guy bragged of working for Apple and not entering a library since high school. He looked like Eric Schmidt’s brother, and was in his 40s. He was one of the cheerleaders for decimation of informative paper products.
In any case, there has been a wholesale assault on libraries, mostly by “liberals,” turning the public ones into recreational facilities and unofficial day care centers, when there are people who go there for peace, quiet, and reading. The agency libraries meanwhile, are being deliberately decimated of print material. Some of this is necessary, but irreplaceable print books and other documents, are being thrown out by the bin-load to the shock and dismay of economists and scientists who catch the libraries in the act. And don’t drink the cool-aid that all this information is “on-line.” It’s not. Copyright, expense, lack of ability to access, not everyone wants a long book on-line. Furthermore, don’t overlook the fact that digital works can be messed with. What is writ on paper, is writ. What is writ by the digital is easily messed with, and has been according to some authors.
An article by a Canadian government worker in 2012 noted the relentless bibliocide in government libraries, and how it seemed to be promoted by the same “liberals” who are working so hard to liberalize everything while supposedly making information available to all. Only, it appears, government approved information.

Wife beating was distinctly declasse in most of European history, and an English woman could shame a husband in the public view for that, even in the early 18th century, according to a famous novel I once read, maybe by Defoe but not sure. Either sex is capable of sadism. But it is usually a bad idea. The idea that beaten women are more fertile is so bizar and so conducive of producing more psychopaths and violent thugs that….well, maybe you just described some cultures.
It’s something we should evolve away from and not all animals exhibit that behavior anyway. Who needs more children brought up with all that.
Civilizations with a literature have produced vast compendiums on the arts of love and sex. It’s what’s called civilization and being human. We are not animals. That is a component of our nature, but we can go farther. It seems that some people muse with nostalgia on the worst we can be.

Which stats also show every detail of perps age, race, gender, was a weapon used or involved? What Type weapon?.....What time of day or nite committed crime, was perp charged and convicted? or aquitted of crime? etc. etc. etc.

Check fbi report crime stats and you shall find that, On average, per every year, going back as Far as fbi reports first began aprox. 50 years ago, and in almost all of, if not indeed in every year of reporting's….African Black Male Perps make up a HUGE Majority of total number of Convicted Perps.

Rape is listed as a Violent crime. in avg year in usa, Rapes of White women BY Black males Vs rapes of Black females By a White male perp.....Shows actual proven Undisputed total numbers as...Typically in any year listed as, about 35,000 White women Raped by savage black males...VS. Black Women raped by white male= aprox 5 that's FIVE rapes per year!

    35,000 vs 5.

In EVERY fbi listed category of Violent crimes, of which as prior stated it is at least a Dozen to perhaps 15 separate crime categories/types violent crime lists....Those in turn get broken down into yet More defined categories such as weapon or not?.....Age groups---Victims vs perp race etc.

NO matter how badly these self hater whitey defenders, of vicious savage attacker perps known of as Savage African Black American Males, wish it were not so.....FACTS within each yearly FBI crime report shows, and shows it with zero possible way to dispute or refute the facts.....That show, African Black Males commit on average a ratio of Violent Crimes in general, and also Against Whites, in off the chart examples of 75% to as high as 89% depends on actual category/type violent crimes, are done BY Black Males. With NO wiggle room for any sort of disputing of or word-spinning and word twisting by even worlds best expert twisters and spinners.

In other words...Blacks commit an avg within every category of a dozen of more separate crimes of Violence, about 75% to 89% crimes by Black Males aged 14/15 to aged 26 yrs old male black perps.

Very similar percentages also when comparing crimes of violence committed by Blacks against White's Vs Whites committed against Blacks....Total numbers, and percentage wise, show its a huge Joke as to what these unz forum Idiotic Whites who so defend blacks really are eh.

I doubt such clowns who are self hater whites will ever actually check fbi reports though, as doing so will badly burst their Fantasy love affair with violence prone, sub human savage, African black males that so clouds the warped already minds of these idiotic self loather whites, posting totally wrong headed replies so obviously Not based on FBI crime stats, nor even based on reality eh.

PS: Several websites contain an essay or listing of violent crimes that get committed against White's, By Black African savage perps of said violence. Which also show the precise percentage difference between likelihood of being attacked by a black criminal if You are a White person.

I do not recall exact percentages of every category of violent crime a White may have perpetrated upon them, By a Criminal Militant Violence Prone black male....However I do recall, Murder of a White, done By a black savage criminal was around...Whites are aprox. 53-Times more likely to get murdered By a Black criminal, than is a black victim of white murderer to occur.

FIFTY THREE Times More Likely for a White person to get Murdered By a African Savage Black perp criminal.....Than for opposite to occur to a Black victim of white perp.....

This takes into equation factors of black population numbers etc compared to white pop numbers.

Bottom line when all facts and numbers/percentages get included properly...A White person is 53-Times More likely to get Murdered By a Black perp, than for exact opposite to happen with black as victim of whitey....Put That in your pipe and smoke on it eh, you self hater foolish whiteys at unz forum.

Just offhand I could think of 12 people.. Almost every white person in my more or less middle class line up of friends and acquaintances has been themselves, or knows someone, or is related to someone, who was robbed, raped (sister of friend when she was a teen, also he tried to kill her), assaulted, murdered (father of a friend), beaten up (lots, some killed) or otherwise badly interfered with, by blacks. The white on black harassment and crime is much less. And as for historic crime, give us the stats please. White on black rape is extremely rare, so rare that it seems strange it suddenly just stopped because blacks got their rights. If one middle class person who lives in an average area of a large metropolis, as did the aforementioned victims, can come up with that number … yes. We are indeed surrounded by potential predators and the only reason there are not way more murders of whites is because we try so hard (and discretely if we are “liberals”) to keep away from most blacks.

people (probably) have a distinctly lower (negative) opinion of a male converting to his wife’s religion than a woman converting to her husband’s.

Actually the opposite has often been true, at least in Western countries since the 18th, or maybe 19th centuries. Partly because religion had begun to be seen as a business occupying mainly women, most intensely. This was not so much the case in previous centuries. I’ve come across many examples of this attitude reading biographies and histories of persons living from the late 18th to 20th centuries. Religion was just not taken as seriously by men, or maybe the differences were taken less seriously, and children tended to be raised in the mother’s religion. Men would convert (or not, didn’t make much difference) for family unity, more than out of doctrinal conviction.

There was an earlier name for them. Creoles. They were often rich and privileged and sought for marriages with the European upper classes

Creole has come to have different meanings, but the original meaning just meant “born in the New World,” in a French or Spanish speaking area, of European lineage. Corresponds to the English word “cradle” though I don’t know the more complex etymology. “Rich and privileged” is a comparative term, and only a few were, and only by comparison with the mass of “POCs.” “Yellow Jack,” part of a famous French descended Creole family, owned many acres of the coast of Alabama, and entertained Andrew Jackson during the War of 1812. But most were of modest means. Mixed race marriages were illegal in the Gulf area during French and American rule, though they could occur during Spanish rule. Anyway, white creole women were famous for only wanting to marry European-born men (of European parentage.) This left many white men of the Gulf area (who were also creoles) without wives and led, of course, to “arrangements” with mixed-race or black women. But I don’t think the Europeans en masse, were ever beating the shores of the Gulf Coast, looking for non-white spouses. Inevitably, among the well traveled, it happened now and then.

Whereas only a minority of women, like 20%, thought most men acceptable enough. The jist of this was that it’s women’s fault people don’t get hitched, by being absurdly picky.

But relative valuing of different qualities is not the same thing as overall pickiness. Perhaps men care primarily about looks, but only men in the top 10-20% of attractiveness are picky about looks. The rest are happy if the girl is their looks-match and she's not obese.

.... When I first encountered the neocons in the 1980s, they had been given Central America to play with. President Ronald Reagan had credentialed many of them, bringing into the U.S. government neocon luminaries such as Elliott Abrams and Robert Kagan. But Reagan mostly kept them out of the big-power realms: the Mideast and Europe.

Those strategic areas went to the “adults,” people like James Baker, George Shultz, Philip Habib and Brent Scowcroft. The poor Central Americans, as they tried to shed generations of repression and backwardness imposed by brutal right-wing oligarchies, faced U.S. neocon ideologues who unleashed death squads and even genocide against peasants, students and workers.

The result not surprisingly was a flood of refugees, especially from El Salvador and Guatemala, northward to the United States. The neocon “success” in the 1980s, crushing progressive social movements and reinforcing the oligarchic controls, left most countries of Central America in the grip of corrupt regimes and crime syndicates, periodically driving more waves of what Reagan called “feet people” through Mexico to the southern U.S. border.......

oh god. The Gangs of New York? You think that’s history? Batman wasn’t around yet to keep things under control.

Homicide and violent crime was fairly rare among the Irish of the late 19th century. Mostly they were inclined drunkeness and got into fights. But rape and murder, very rare. Nor were they victimized by other whites to any great extent. The hardships were mostly working and living conditions, not violence.

Yes. The entire industry is greedy. That doesn’t mean they don’t produce some good products, allow some good deals. Or that some employed in it are not good people. But the people at the top, who run it, are there to make money. I once heard of a naturopath doctor whose herb field was destroyed by government agents after he claimed to have cured cancer, and made his cases public. The agents told him, “Cancer is our industry. Leave it alone.”
And looking at the power institutions supposedly devoted to curing cancer, and thinking of the money made by all the personnel, do you think they really want to cure anything?
Most doctors say they themselves would never do chemotherapy if they were diagnosed with cancer.

One more time. National and religious animosities can lead to extreme insults–the Saxons and Normans in 12th century Britain; the Walloons and the Flemings in Belgium, that sort of thing; and if they are an economic threat, it gets serious. The Irish were just white people, part of the European genetic cluster and easily able to assimilate among more high achieving whites, as soon as they got out of their extremely rural country, obscured their alien religion, lost their accents, and blended in. Genetically there is no dissimilarity from other northern Europeans, and the angst about them was theater for the most part. Even the “No Irish Need Apply” signs were myth. I was a little surprised to learn that. They were in worse condition of any immigrants on record when they arrived in America. It was largely Irish immigrants who caused the cholera epidemics in Boston and some other cities, to become such disasters. Not intentional, but still. If I were an old-stock dweller of those cities, I’d have hated the Irish too.
However, most (I can’t answer for all) 19th century opinions about them being sub-humans had all the black comedy of a SNL live skit featuring the Czech brothers. And then there were the large number of U.S. presidents descended from Scotch-Irish. But they were Protestants and therefore intrinsically human…?
You can find jokes among the cantons in Switzerland mocking each other in ways that sound serious, but I’m sure they feel more like one another than they feel like the Bangladeshi and Somali “migrants” I used to see hanging around railroad stations. You miss out *the* three vital drivers of third world immigration into Europe.

1/. The Left. Basically, in its modern incarnation at least, institutionally anti-white. Perhaps exceedingly foolish in terms of policies, but very very cunning. Knows full well that the path to permanent political power - and thus implementing Marx - is by importing as much of the third world as possible, as fast as possible.

2/. The Economist Magazine. Unspeakable, evil, stupid fools. But stupid fools puffed up by arrogance and ENORMOUS influence. If you want to know what the Deep State is thinking - and more crucially a not very intelligent politician on the make (most of them) - read The Economist. True to form, and true to its unfathomable evil and stupidity, The Economist wants massive uncontrolled third world immigration. So, massive uncontrolled third world immigration is what Europe, assuredly, will get.
That it plays into the hands of (1) above, The Economist's supposed mortal enemy, (actually white people and not the left are The Economist's enemies), doesn't seem to register with them. Which is typical if their arrogance and stupidity.

    3/. The EU.
A dictatorship, a real true autocratic undemocratic unaccountable unrepresentative elitist dictatorship for you. Forget Mussolini, Hitler, Amin etc, here's the real deal, but in Juncker's sheep-like clothing. Run by institutionally anti-whit arrogant wooden-headed fools. Plus, you yourself are hardly an 'immigration restrictionist'. You wrote pages and pages to normalize Hispanics (even illegal ones) as an acceptable population simply for having a lower crime rate than blacks. I am one of the few who defended you in the past, but now I see that you are just a 'Divide and Conquer' Jew.

Furthermore, his style of writing seems to mark him as an agitated foreigner who learned English as an adult rather than someone who grew up with English as his first language.

Point to specific examples. A drive-by claim like this is simply poor form on your part.

There is apparently much less to Ron Unz than meets the eye. He knows little about subjects that he claims to specialize in, and the extent of his education is questionable. The concept of 'credentialed but not educated' comes to mind when describing Ron Unz.

Among other things, he greatly excuses the illegal immigration of Hispanics, but then also wants a $12/hr minimum wage. Minimum wages are already a violation of Econ 101 concepts, but it really does not work when there are a mass of illegal immigrants in the labor pool. It is hard to claim Ron Unz is intelligent when he does not see this contradiction.

Where do you come from? You show that tone-deafness of strangers in a strange land. You can know the textbook language and be totally unable to understand or speak in a normal way.
I have a long line of Irish ancestors; one, an Irish Catholic from County Kerry, was knighted by the king of England, probably for race horse training, in the early 1800s. A sort of Barry Lyndon, a book by Thackeray you should read for more enlightenment. The film was good too.
The Irish were likely to be despised in the mid-19th century America due to poverty and backwardness, not to mention religion. Everyone from a peasant background was seen as backward and “other”for reasons of language and custom; but that didn’t last long outside, maybe, Boston, and certainly the idea of them as a different race was, well, only skin deep. A veneer. An Irishman or Irishwoman who converted to Protestantism immediately assumed human dimensions even in 1850.
There are a few genetic differences, especially in the far west of Ireland, but the Irish are all but indistinguishable from other Brits (the white kind) and everybody always knew that because basic phenotype mostly tells the truth.

The white natives of Britain, and mainland Europe, have been mixing with black africans since at least the Roman conquest. In the 16th century numerous africans had settled in London and other parts of the country. This was before the British got heavily involved in the Atlantic Slave Trade.

Shakespeare was most likely a product of race-mixing from the 1500s. His portrait clearly shows that he was mixed race, probably a quadroon. Yellowish complexion, balding at the top but bushy haired on the sides, flaring nostrils, fullish lips etc. He sure didn’t look like a native of the British Isles, or of Europe for that matter. The servant girl is groped by an enthusiastic, important guest, while serving at the family dinner table. Vermeer and family are mildly embarrassed but indifferent. Shocked and worried about the old guy’s plans, she quickly consummates her courtship with her boyfriend so that he will have no reason to doubt her virtue. Had she been attacked by the important guest, she would not have said anything to anyone. Everyone would have called her names–like, maybe, crow or buzzard. The misery would have been compounded and the important man’s discomfiture, not hers, would have left a worst taste for everyone who mattered. Only murder would have made her a sympathetic character.

Qadaffi made Libya bloom in the southern part of the country. He was using oil money to in Library what the Israelis had done in Israel, turning desert into fertile soil. One Libyan during the “revolt” was quoted as wondering what the hell was going on. Libyans were fine. Any Libyan could take out a loan and get money for education, a house, etc. They did not want Qadaffi removed. Clinton wanted Qadaffi removed, and her banker buddies, because Libya was not playing by the globalist rules of banking. Most of the middle eastern countries were not, which is why the neocons targeted them for destruction in the 1990s. Seven countries. Now, the only countries not playing are North Korea and Cuba, I think.
Should have just paid him to keep Africa out of Europe. But no. Clinton had to get her money.

Plus, now Trump owes a favour to Xi Jinping.

I support the Donald because the alternative was Hillary. But this was a mistake. He probably lowered his poll ratings by intervening in the case, and cost some local criminal justice system hundreds of thousands of dollars in incarceration and parole expenses at some point in the future. In China, at least, they might have been scared straight after years in Chinese prison. Stateside, they'll just continue offending.

The Donald's talk radio persona is amusing, but I'm cringing at the possibility of serious losses in 2018. Heck, maybe 2018 starts on December 12, 2017, when Roy Moore loses what should have been a sure thing.

They seem to have a keener awareness of who to respect.
There are over a 1,000 sealed indictments right now indicating an massive sting operation, HRC very likely among them. The Podestas have dissolved their lobbying group after being arrested, ostensibly for money laundering, but far worse is what they are really known for. A “body farm” associated with the Clinton’s was raided in Oregon. DACA has been addressed just the other day by Sessions as against constitutional law, allowed illegally by Obama, and will no longer be tolerated. Virtually none of this was reported by the MSM which concentrated on the nonsense about allegations against Moore, and the Russian nothing burger. Oh yeah, all the Russian accuations thrown by the Clintons and other Democrats are turning out to be on their own faces. Again, minimal MSM coverage.

Possibly a bit behind. Is it two coffins now? They’ve found a few generations of Swedes who are starting to look more like Nigerians after living in a tropical climate? Whatever anyone’s personal awareness of the latest scientific research that would be disseminated to the masses, and which all has a political slant because of who funds and publishes it, evolution remains a theory, and not the only theory (no, I don’t mean creationism.) People hold to these theories as to a religion. Even the nuns in Catholic school were teaching evolution decades ago. You’re right. They adapted.
Of course adaptation occurs, but whole races of people obediently evolving in tandem from “adaptations” or random selection? Eskimos, Aleuts and Siberian natives are not blond and never will be. Genetic engineering by more advanced, off-earth d0-gooders makes more sense to me than that.
    But that’s just me.

    Hey Intelligent Dasein,

You can’t make a negro out of a White man just by plopping him into bright sunlight for a few centuries.

Why not? The current theory is that the White man didn't originate in Europe but came there from somewhere (jury is still out on exactly where). After a while (how long is also up for grabs) he became what he is; intelligence, strength, skin tone, etc.

bright sunlight for a few centuries

Sure, but we aren't talking about simply the sunlight, we are talking about the entire environment. And yes, centuries is a short time - millenia is not.

I believe certain parts of Darwin's conclusions seem fairly sound while others aren't.

I will not deny that landscape, environment, food, and many other things have a terroir effect on the development of all organisms

OK so we agree here - so I asked Priss to explain why. So please explain why in a convincing way? Why is the White man, who is a result of environmental selective pressures on the European continent somehow insulated from selective pressures in a different environment? I'm open to discussion on this.

    Peace.

Evolution has always only been a theory, supported by a very small amount of bones. Some say only enough to fit in a coffin. Darwin himself called it a theory and it fit with the tenor of his times, or at least with the trendy of the day.
To think that Swedes, breeding only among themselves, would turn into Nigerians after some tens of thousands of decades of living in West Africa, is absurd. And also vice versa. Absurd. \
We act like we already know everything there is to know about our history on this planet. We do not.

And accepting theories put forward 150 years ago, as fact which no “scientific” person should challenge, is not how to find answers. Science has become the new religion and woe to anyone who challenges the accepted dogma. Sometimes it seems we’re actually moving backwards.

As I mentioned, I find some aspects of the theory quite sound and some not so. I have the same reservations as you do since I don't believe we know the whole picture and it is constantly being revised:

I share your skepticism of Scientism.

The aspect I find quite sound (in the various theories of evolution - since there is not just one) is that the environment has an effect on the development and progression of a given organism - I don't see how anyone can argue this. For instance, high-altitude adaptation in various mountain people with larger lung capacity (we can discuss details on how long it took or the exact mechanism, but the fact is obvious to all):
"A recent study of Tibetan villagers who live their lives at around 15,000 feet has shown that they have 10 oxygen-processing genes not commonly found in lowland populations."

Right, the NYC skyline was literally built by on the backs of slave bodies. Likewise, the diamonds in South Africa were all stolen. All the white man had to do was trick a gullible Zulu shaman or two, walk a mile and a half towards the Earth's core with a shopping cart and fill it up like a looter at Payless. And the Native Americans, living in a utopia of noble savagery and inter-tribal harmony, had deeds filed with their respective county clerks showing ownership of all the land in their possession, which was, likewise, subsequently stolen.

    Replies: @jacques sheete, @dcite

Whenever anybody tells me blacks “built” the cities, it sounds so absurd. The urbanizing areas of 19th and early 20th century America had very few blacks and enormous white immigrant working class populations. 1/3 of Cinciannati was white immigrant in 1890. The death rate among Irish immigrants in laboring jobs was particularly high. A history professor said the Irish were preferred for really dangerous jobs in the ante-bellum South because there was an unending supply of them, and blacks were too expensive to risk. A black co-worker taking the class passed that on to me.
Even in the late 20th century they had to find builders from Italy to refurbish the mayor’s mansion in downtown Baltimore. I still remember people being afraid that the future mayors would all be black, and the exquisite mansion would be gradually destroyed. They’d had experience with black takeovers and it was never good. I don’t know what it looks like today.
Blacks’ labor was, however, crucial in maintaining cities in the Gulf area and probably other southern cities. Apparently even skilled labor became associated with black or “mulattos” and even skills like brick laying would indicate someone’s race. This did not happen outside the Gulf area. I think the French/Spanish influence had something to do with the attitudes in New Orleans and the Gulf area.
White creole women even insisted that their husbands be born in Europe and not America, which led to a lot of interesting arrangements.

I’m not surprised. Only a psychopath can perpetrate so deliberately, so much death and mayhem, and then get worshiped by people who never knew him because he — did what exactly? Millions of people would have lived had Lenin never been, and also countless rabbits, murdered not for meat or fur, but because Lenin just wanted to. I met a traveler from an antique land,
Who said—“Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. . . . Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
    The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed;

    My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings;
Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair!

The lone and level sands stretch far away.”

This article just described millions of people who had no control over Lenin’s demons, being murdered, destroyed economically, labeled parasites while doing all the work that provided anything good, like food, clothing, shelter and education. Communism was responsible for mega-deaths. Lenin looks haunted and insane in that photo; because he was, morally. Sickness alone doesn’t give that expression.
It boils down to this: Lenin caused more horror and bloodshed than would have happened if he’d just got out of Dodge and let it alone. Russia was “progressing” just fine without him. He is one of those many people the world would have been better off without.

If blacks were able to form their own ethnostate in North America, does anyone think the problem of "inequality" would be magically solved?

Of course, not. A cognitive elite would soon rise to the top, and a large underclass would remain at the bottom. And everyone there would likely be less well off, without a massive white taxpayer base to shoulder much of the burden of funding and running society.

Ethiopia was never formally colonized by the Western powers, and yet it is hardly an egalitarian paradise today. Quite the opposite, in fact. If we can't blame whitey for this, it must obviously have much more to do with basic human nature.

Why does anyone take Ta-Nehisi Coates seriously? He doesn't seem to understand the first thing about human beings. If he really is black America's greatest living intellectual today, that's an insult to all the far more intelligent black Americans I've known myself.

I don’t see much evidence anywhere in the world that he was wrong.
