  • Anti-Logos / Anti-God / Anti-Christ should be used in the vernacular more to describe this kinda of rebellious behavior against Metaphysical Reality. This describes anarchic behavior, rioting, deliberately making ugly art as a critic of Creation, preaching 2+2=5, etc.

I see you all struggle with the nomenclature since your operating under the erroneous Enlightenment conclusion in modernity that God is Dead. Assume God is alive and living and these people are effectively telling Him he’s wrong about how He created this place and what should be and how.

Freedom has no essence, it is infinitely malleable, it promotes change. Change is inherently Leftist. Freedom promotes
change and change will be harnessed by the Left, for their ends. Without an orthodoxy that is defended, there can't be any change that is not Leftist. The other term "values", is also not conservative, and has no essence or reality in Truth, it was first extensively used by Nietzsche to describe the new reality the superman had to create with the death of God. Nietzsche thought these supermen would be reactionary and destroy the plague of modernity - egalatarianism. The Left hijacked Nietzsche and values are created by the Left. The impotent Right merely tries to take the edge off these values and assists the March of the Left. So without an orthodoxy there is nothing for these paper tiger conservatives to conserve. They are constantly trying to conserve yesterday's Leftism and prepping for defeat and the next adoption of Leftist values. So, they will fight for girls' and women's sports today while applauding an adult man " becoming a woman" as an act of freedom. They conserve nothing and actually acclimate the population to Leftist hegemony.

Thank you for writing this article.
It’s fascinating to see the millennial propagandization within Western historiography against the Byzantine Empire; even to this day it deliberately receives little to no attention from historians. Through our Western history courses, we were endlessly regaled about pagan Rome and the HRE, but the Eastern Roman Empire was a mere passing note despite reigning for 1000 years. We hear about the Dark Ages of Europe but never about the concurrent Golden Age of Byzantium.
I believe the West could value greatly from understanding this missing aspect of OUR history. Looking toward the Russian system of Byzantine Symphonia is a good start and something we can learn from. The Western secular notion of ‘Separation of Church and State’ (a Luciferian inversion of Symphonia) has been a disaster for the ethical/moral fibre of its nations; leading to the modern soulless deracinated “individual”: the Homo-economicus.

Yes, I already know you don't want to believe it. The distraction won't work, though. I'm learning not to get bogged down in taking this sort of response seriously. (Thanks for assisting in the training.) Probably better to just add me to your ignore list. Don't worry: nobody else wants to believe it either.

    Consider two competing hypotheses:
    Big Brother doubts your loyalty.
Big Brother does not doubt your loyalty.

Come to think, the second makes more sense. Again: no need to worry.

A fortiori: yes you're trying to disguise your thinking and it's not working, but as a matter of fact it was already not working; it turns out these disguises aren't necessary. You've been fine without them and will continue to be fine without them.

    --

Any real-world hypothesis has inconsistencies. I'm not 100% sure where they all come from, but it's guaranteed simply due to being considered by non-infinite brains. There are unwarranted but necessary simplifications.*

Thus the best hypothesis is the one with the fewest inconsistencies, which would be the latter in this case. Of course I'm always open to new data, which may shift the balance of known inconsistencies.

*E.g. Newtonian physics isn't wrong, it's a simplification of Einsteinian physics. Likewise, if Newton was "wrong" then general relativity is also wrong, because it's a simplification of some more general order.

That’s some pretty good reasoning there.
But there’s a catch, you can be consistent in a framework that itself is ultimately erroneous/false. For example, you can be consistent in a work of fiction, but it is still a work of fiction and not our reality/metaphysics. Consistency itself can never completely justify a system (Gödel’s incompleteness theorems).
I’m not saying that consistency isn’t valuable, but there are other epistemic composite elements required such as coherency and prepositional/axiomatic transcendence required to hold justification.
Else we’re stuck in the verisimilitude of telling better and better fantasies/narratives-lies.

    • Replies: @Alrenous
    @Papa

In context, coherency and consistencyare synonyms. You wanted the term correspondence.

Though the error was in fact a Freudian slip; your intuition was telling you that coherence and correspondence are secretly identical.

A theory is coherent when it agrees with itself. A theory corresponds when it agrees with empirical results.
Problem: what are empirical results? Functionally, we don't observe the experiment, we observe our thoughts about the experiment. (Kant was on-topic but also needs some inversion.) Likewise, we observe our thoughts about the theory. A theory with correspondence is merely our thoughts being coherent with other thoughts. This principle generalizes across all beliefs. The correspondence theory of truth is merely a special case of the coherence theory of truth. Believing in either ontologically commits you to believing in the other.

Secondarily, logical consistency is in fact extremely difficult. Works of fiction aren't, in fact, consistent. Expanding the attack surface to a mere four points is typically more than enough to make experiment superfluous, assuming you didn't slip up with the logic.

Further, coherency is all that's necessary. The point of a theory is to arrange our actions so that their consequences are the consequences we value. However, consequences are, again, merely thoughts. Merely perceptions. It's about arranging perceptions with respect to other perceptions. As long as the desired perceptions obtain (coherently with the hypothesized input perceptions) then the goal has been achieved.

    --

Godel's first incompleteness theorem is straight wrong. His proof uses a grammatical error. E.g. it proves that physics shouldn't be able to figure out what physics is going to do next. 3. Anglosphere, aside from various European countries covet Russia's immense natural wealth and have been trying to gain control of it for centuries. There was a brief period after the breakup of USSR, during Yeltsin, that International Gangsters looted Russia of 100s of US$ billions. The argument goes that Dracula’s opponents are scientifically-minded professionals (two doctors and a lawyer) who are determined to stop Dracula bringing about the degeneration of Britain through the breeding of “a new and ever-widening circle of semi-demons”—in Robinson’s view, a metaphor for miscegenation. As the author correctly noted early in the article, survival isn’t justification enough as there is no transcendent aim: without God everything is ultimately nihilistic since we’re in a decaying material box. There is no “winner” if everything in the Universe is ultimately crushed by entropy: 1000 year Reich or even 1,000,000,000 year Reich doesn’t matter since it all goes unceremoniously in the chessboard at the end. That’s the fundamental flaw of materialist worldviews even with pseudo-spiritual notions sprinkled on top. One could make the equally justified argument that in a world of suffering with no purpose, the best evolutionary adaption isn’t to survive but to just not exist. And frankly, that’s the direction that modern philosophy is leading mankind toward: misanthropy and antinatalism.

Meanwhile with Orthodoxy, you can apply Theosis on a national level: elevate your people into saints not just in the life but beyond as well. A saint doesn’t lose his history and identity when becoming a saint; in fact those things were ontologically essential in becoming one: who you are, where you are from, how did you get to where you are. We’ve become so demoralized insofar as believing that just being/surviving as a average citizen is “good enough” that we’ve forgotten the heights of what man could be; what groups of men could be. Hell, modern man is so metaphysically ill that he forgets what a saint even looks like if they were presented with one. So cynical that they’ll think it’s some kind of virtue signaling bit or scam, not realizing that they are standing face-to-face with a better man, a truly transcendent man beyond mere suffering and surviving.

In this sense both the ethics of Christianity and Buddhism were at one and the same time egoistic and altruistic. Self-obliteration in this life assures self-realization in the other. Self-realization being, according to Buddhism, the mother of all evil, self-obliteration is the road to permanent happiness. Buddhistic as well as Christian Altruism are thus founded on other-worldliness, which in the Christian scheme flowers in the assurance of personal felicity in a higher state, whereas in that of Buddhism it promises release from all evil of self-existence in the blissful and happy Nirvana

  • EMJ and KM both have philosophical holes in their justification.
For EMJ it is the Catholic Church and the potential of attracting new parishioners, despite the institution itself falling to Modernism and becoming a mere “temporal power” devoid of spiritual justification (no better than the watered down Christianity of Protestantism).
For KM it is the the lack of telos in his scientific approach: in a Godless world, Evolution has no purpose or morality or values; it’s merely a force of nature like gravity or the wind. If he adopts the Nietzschean worldview, then the Jews by all means are the winners of the Will-to-Power race and it would evolutionary advantageous to kneel down to this Ubermensch people that can impose their 2+2=5 values onto gentiles. So KM is in a philosophically indefensible position without some sort of external metaphysic that can justify why the Jews are bad and why gentile success are good; it’s like saying of nature why predator lions are inherently bad and why prey gazelles are inherently good. With no metaphysics outside of physics, then there is no greater ethical justification; it may as well be arbitrary/morally relativistic.

The only synthetic outlet that seems justifiable is through the ethnic Orthodox Churches. Unlike the Catholic Church, they withstood the full jewish assault of the Bolsheviks and were triumphant in the end. They maintain the strict spirituality, traditions, values and morality of the past 2000 years of European man; without the innovations, rationalism, and ad hoc Natural Theological innovations of Catholic and Protestant Churches. And unlike the Catholics and Protestant, they hold ethnic identity, heritage, and history in high regard through the acknowledgment and veneration of their distributed network of ancient ethno-nationalist churches, with the track record of being able to create new autocephalous ethno-churches for nations willing to adopt Orthodoxy.

I disagree. What you see is end result of philosophy without theology. Reason, empiricism, and even epistemology on its own cannot justify itself; it requires a transcendent presupposition: Logos. As man was in awe over their seaming mastery over nature, they saw themselves as material gods rather than discoverers of truths. Who needs God when we are now gods? Ultimately this hubris in “reason” has lead to present times where man thinks he can craft values out of nothing and they will become “truth” with enough will to power (applied sophisticated nihilism). In the end, this Faustian exercise of rejecting Logos in the pursuit of man’s apotheosis will lead to degenerative catabolic collapse.

The East has a future. They understand that theology precedes philosophy. They learned quick and hard in a century what rejection of the Logos has lead to; while their brothers in the West have taking the slow innocuous poison over centuries.

My view is that mankind will never advance under the millstone of the ancient fairy tales.

Advance in to what? Further nihilism?
The Faustian West is so infected with rationalism that it’s “rationalized” itself to a soulless husk of biomachinery unable to even abstract anything transcendent.

When I look around I do not see anything rational at all. Back when we were rational we led the world in scientific achievement.

I agree that the west has lost its' spiritual moorings, but the flight isn't to rationalism but to marxist fantasy and delusion.

Cultural marxism/ political correctness promotes a totally irrational world devoid of logic and reason and common sense.

There is nothing rational about a child claiming that he identifies as a girl so they give him female hormones and chop his dick off.

We are now in the realm of off the charts jewing, levels of jewing never seen before. They are obviously testing the white race to see just how much shit we are willing to take.

  • One of the significant aspects of the current revolutionary madness sweeping the nation is the unrestrained assault on the cultural artifacts of Western Christian civilization. Here is an unpleasant but true assertion: the west as a culture is in its terminal decline.

'The West' is the secular bastard child of Western Christian Civilization. The West indeed is going to die. Its historic peoples all could be swept into oblivion, some of them absorbed into Mohammedan groups, some into Jews, some into Asian groups. Non-Christian religion will be central to those absorptions.

Those who rediscover and work to revive Christendom will survive as distinct peoples. Christendom was been under major assault from within since the dawn of the Reformation. Cathey surely knows that, but he rarely gets around to proclaiming it, which only allows the masses who read him to keep trying to save 'the West' with methods and ideas that actually slowly murder all vestiges of Western Christian Civilization.

This quote from Cathey shows the problem: In a broader sense, this assault portends a basic denial of the richness and nourishing fruits of our culture and what that culture has given us. For that denial goes far beyond visible symbols in copper and granite or in place names. We have seen this in the increasing demands for a Taliban-like “cultural cleansing” of our society.

The Taliban does nothing in that arena that Anglo-Saxon Puritans, and other Protestant Reformers, did not master centuries ago, as they ravaged Western Christendom in half. Why avoid naming the internal traitors?

It is either Christ and Christendom or Chaos, in which Jews dominate. Many Mohammedans assume that they will have another run of large scale run, but if they do it will be just like those of the past: Jews per capita will direct and prosper most. Like Christian heresy, Mohammedanism, once Western cultures are subdued, always sees Jews rise and control from the wings.

The terror of that very possibility is what drives both the Neocon Jews and Liberal Jews to fits of frothing insanity over Putin and Russia.

Jews know the enemy they wish to exterminate, and it is not democracy, not capitalism, not 'the West,' not the USA, not even all nations defined by people with white skin. It is historic Christianity and any possibility of a revival of Christendom.

Comparing US and Russia makes no sense.

True, US is a sick country. In soulful and cultural terms, it is now far sicker than USSR under communism.

But the big difference is the core US economy is working. Plenty of food is grown, shipped to stores, and no one is hungry. US has industries that extract tons of natural resources from the ground, and US has Canada as its front yard. US is really US-Canada as Canada is really just the 51st state.

Because the US has so much good land and functional industries that extract minerals and oils and produce tons of food, it cannot be compared with Russia in the 90s when the basic economy didn't function.

Also, the examples of Brazil and Mexico tell us even a rotten system keeps chugging along if people are resigned to the rottenness.

I’m glad that point didn’t only stand out to me, but my take was a bit different; that these manic and deranged liberals simply have no ability to comprehend reality anymore, so they just say nonsensical things because it’s the only way they can interpret things in their mentally ill state.

Please point to a single person at a trump rally the would indicate that they’re emulating some kind of Trump modeled luxury. Of course he’s a motivational speaker … that’s the job of a good President, and it drives them insane like mindless zombies that it’s the opposite of the dark lord obama.

We are actually dealing with a kind of weaponized mental virus that is spread and infects people like some kind of real world zombie apocalypse that is eating its way through society. They simply cannot comprehend reality anymore as their minds turn to mush.

  • The concern about someone getting away with something undeservedly while sacrificing the whole is the fruit of extreme pharisaical moralising. Jesus dispenses with this mentality in the parable of the weeds where he tells his concerned workers to leave the weeds alone. Judgement is God’s at His way and time not ours. When planting grass one nourishes the grass. The growing strong grass will take care of the weeds. When raising kids one nourishes the virtues while keeping an eye on the weeds. An atomised, moralistic, hypocritical society focuses on the weeds. What kind of children this produces is another subject.

Paul, in tune with semitic and greek thinking, understood the nature of money as the root of all evil (If we did not love it, it would not exist). Money is a system of values that comes from the vanity of mans’ imagination. It is mans’ objectification of the world in order to subjugate and possess it. It is not merely a means of exchange. It replaces the ‘value’ god has given to His creation.

Whereas relationships are normal. Money perverts human relations. It is a fake or mask over human relations. It is totalitarian in that it attempts to subjugate the world to a number, to one interpretation. Thus it is cataphatic. It does not matter whether the price/value of something is determined by a politburo (communism) or the masses at large (‘free market’). Jesus did not come to tune up our otherwise fine civilisations. He came to overthrow/transform them.

As a sickness and a perversion of human relations ‘fallen’ man understood the necessity of periodic cleansing from the debts quantified and measured in units of money. Paul clarifies that we all have a debt of love toward each other. This debt is the basis for an unending virtuous cycle of self offering not objectifiable and quantifiable. This debt of love is perverted by money and all that money presupposes as mentioned above. Furthermore, money implies an evaluation of each persons offering with fallen criteria and then an attempt to objectify that offering and, thereby, more ‘justly’ distribute the ‘value’ of the said offering. But human justice is just a redistribution of violence. And money is nothing more than a perpetuation of this violence because it rests on the disintegration of life, a life whose unity we are called to at every level of existence – political, economic, spiritual, etc.

  • Jesus came to establish a new political order and not a religion. This is evident by the use of the term ‘ekklesia’ or church. He juxtaposed His ekklesia against that of the demos. That this order was political with economic repercussions is evident in Acts where believers freely rejected private property. This rejection pulls the rug out from all western civilisation and was, unlike modern christianity, a serious threat to the established order as all states and rule rest on possessiveness/property. The state disappears without it.

All societies are built on a polarity: individual desire/common law. Each human is the sum total of his/her desires. But so that we can live with a modicum of relative peace given the conflicting nature of individual desires an impersonal common law comes and draws a line arbitrarily and sets a limit on our individual desires. Jesus without saying a word against emperors and rulers reverses the polarity: common experience/personal law. In the common experience of love at the Eucharist each individual believer turns that into his personal law/desire. Thus undermining all forms of rule.

This (love) alone solves the historical pendulum that Plato describes is the trap of all human history – that between the one and the many. That is, mans’ desire to be free and his desire to live in community; chaos and totalitarianism. There is no system to resolve this, neither capitalism nor communism. Love/Liberty cannot be made a system. Love (God) is the only solution and this presupposes liberty. Only when man freely shares his whole life (thus truly manifesting all that he is) can we overcome the vicious cycles that trap us in death. Love alone conquers death. This love is manifest as unity: unity within man, unity with the entire creation and ultimately with the uncreated as well. And this is a unity that presupposes diversity not the extinguishing of the individual. This involves/is a new, regenerate man. It involves a process/cycle of constant dying to self and rebirth throughout life. It/love is a struggle, a suffering, a cross. The cross is the mystery hidden in every relationship. Either i crucify my ego and allow the other to move freely toward me and i toward him or i project my ego onto the other and subjugate/crucify them to myself. There is no getting around this mystery hidden in every relationship. Love is not by nature painful. It is my pride that makes it painful… Essential to this realisation is forgiveness on every level because the unity that He calls us to is unity on every level: political, economic, social, material, spiritual, etc…
