Neal, If you navigate to this URL from the machine itself, does it work? http://localhost:8080/ortrack/command?type=ping Henri _____ From: ore...@li... Subject: [Oreka-user] could not contact orktrack I finally got orkaudio running and orktrack and orkweb with logs on info and debug level and the ONLY error I get is from orkaudio.log that says "ERROR reporting:116 - Could not contact orktrack" so as you might imagine I get nothing listed in orkweb which makes my days and hours of work for nothing. As I said I have the logs on debug and the best it can do is tell me it can't contact orktrack? I have no reason why. Please can anyone tell me what I need to do to fix it? |

Thank you very much for the help. I know these must be trivial questions,
but I do appreciate the help.
I have it compiled fine, but I am getting the following error when starting
orkaudio:
./orkaudio debug
/downloads/oreka/orkaudio/.libs/lt-orkaudio: error while loading shared
libraries: libsndfile.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or
directory
I searched for the file and it is in /usr/local/lib/
I then found on the support this command and ran it with the result:
ldd /usr/lib/libvoip.so
libACE.so.5 => not found
libxerces-c.so.27 => /usr/lib/libxerces-c.so.27 (0xf6c0a000)
liblog4cxx.so.9 => not found
liborkbase.so.0 => /usr/lib/liborkbase.so.0 (0xf6bf1000)
libpcap.so.0.8.3 => /usr/lib/libpcap.so.0.8.3 (0xf6bcf000)
libstdc++.so.6 => /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6 (0xf6b03000)
libm.so.6 => /lib/tls/libm.so.6 (0xf6ae0000)
libc.so.6 => /lib/tls/libc.so.6 (0xf69b9000)
libgcc_s.so.1 => /lib/libgcc_s.so.1 (0xf69b0000)
libpthread.so.0 => /lib/tls/libpthread.so.0 (0xf699e000)
/lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x00b30000)
I searched for those "not found" and they are in the /usr/local/lib/ not the
/usr/lib
I know it is a simple solution, but it is Friday and I am having a major
mental block.
Thanks.

Otherwise, my guess is that libxerces-c is installed in /usr/local/lib
instead of /ustr/lib and ld does not find it, you need to make install with
/usr/lib as a prefix.

Kevin,
It seems you don't have xerces-c properly installed. Depending on your OS,
you might install it with the native packages repository system.

Subject: [Oreka-user] Error Compiling orkaudio
I submitted this already, but I was really wondering if someone could help
me on it. I am compiling the subversion of orkaudio using
https://oreka.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/oreka/branches/orkaudio-voip-byend
point/orkaudio/ and the instructions from
https://oreka.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/oreka/branches/orkaudio-voip-byend
point/BUILD_C++.txt . I have everything compiled fine up to orkaudio.
The following commands have run successfully:
* libtoolize --force
* automake -a
* make -f Makefile.cvs
* ./configure
But when I run make, I get the following error:
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lxerces-c
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[3]: *** [libgenerator.la] Error 1
make[3]: Leaving directory
`/downloads/oreka/orkaudio/audiocaptureplugins/generator'
make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/downloads/oreka/orkaudio/audiocaptureplugins'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/downloads/oreka/orkaudio'
make: *** [all] Error 2
Anyone else have this problem? If so how did you resolve it? If you need any
other information please let me know I really want to get this working. I am
so close.
Thanks.

Hi Ali, OrkTrack or OrkWeb automatically create the database when they first start up. If this does not happen it's most likely because of a wrong database configuration. It seems the RTP traffic you are seeing is of type 5, which could be IMA =
ADPCM. We do not yet support this codec, it=E2=80=99s the first time =
this codec is reported. What is the telephony system?

Hello,
I am interested in this useful tool. I am reading the source code recently. Will you please tell me which part of the source code implements the function of decode(retrieval) the captured session.The clearer the better.
I have already looked for this part of source code several times, but I don't think I found them.
Thank you in advance.

I got the subversion fine and am now trying to compile it. I have orkbase compiled and all necessary prereqs as mentioned in https://oreka.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/oreka/trunk/BUILD_C++.txt Now when issuing the command 'make' I get the following: /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lxerces-c collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[3]: *** [libgenerator.la] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory `/root/orkaudio/audiocaptureplugins/generator' make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/root/orkaudio/audiocaptureplugins' make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/orkaudio' make: *** [all] Error 2 I really like figuring errors out on my own, but this one has got me stumped. Kevin, 0.5-313 will not give you IAX2 support, only the very latest code under subversion which you need to compile. Henri -----Original Message----- From: ore...@li... Hi Wang, If you want to compile the latest version under MSVC, you need to checkout the source tree using tortoiseSVN and compile it according to instructions there: http://oreka.sourceforge.net/oreka-documentation.html#d0e119 If you do not use MSVC6, you will have to compile all dependencies also.
