Hi, I have installed OrkAudio on Debian lenny and it works fine. I have Java 1.5, Tomcat 5.5 and MySQL 5.0 (hopefully 4.x is not mandatory). I have followed the installation instructions in the online user manual to install OrkTrack and OrkWeb. Tomvcat has unpacked the .war files and I've updated the web.xml files. When I start Tomcat, it tries to start OrkTrack and OrkWeb but fails with an Exception. Here is the log for OrkWeb. OrkTrack has the same exception. Does it have something to do with my Java environment? Or with Tomcat? 17:26:41,496 root INFO - ======================================== 17:26:41,497 root INFO - orkweb starting ... 17:26:42,217 org.apache.catalina.core.ContainerBase.[Catalina].[localhost].[/orkweb] ERROR - Exception sending context initialized event to listener instance of class net.sf.oreka.orkweb.ContextListener java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org.hibernate.impl.SessionFactoryImpl at java.lang.Class.initializeClass(libgcj.so.90) at org.hibernate.cfg.Configuration.buildSessionFactory(Configuration.java:1 033) at net.sf.oreka.HibernateManager.configure(HibernateManager.java:97) at net.sf.oreka.orkweb.ContextListener.contextInitialized(ContextListener.j ava:49) at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardContext.listenerStart(StandardContext.j ava:3764) at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardContext.start(StandardContext.java:4216 ) at org.apache.catalina.core.ContainerBase.addChildInternal(ContainerBase.ja va:760) at org.apache.catalina.core.ContainerBase.access$0(ContainerBase.java:744) at org.apache.catalina.core.ContainerBase$PrivilegedAddChild.run(ContainerB ase.java:144) at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(libgcj.so.90) at org.apache.catalina.core.ContainerBase.addChild(ContainerBase.java:738) at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardHost.addChild(StandardHost.java:544) at org.apache.catalina.startup.HostConfig.deployDirectory(HostConfig.java:9 26) at org.apache.catalina.startup.HostConfig.deployDirectories(HostConfig.java :889) at org.apache.catalina.startup.HostConfig.deployApps(HostConfig.java:492) at org.apache.catalina.startup.HostConfig.start(HostConfig.java:1149) at org.apache.catalina.startup.HostConfig.lifecycleEvent(HostConfig.java:31 1) at org.apache.catalina.util.LifecycleSupport.fireLifecycleEvent(LifecycleSu pport.java:120) at org.apache.catalina.core.ContainerBase.start(ContainerBase.java:1022) at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardHost.start(StandardHost.java:736) at org.apache.catalina.core.ContainerBase.start(ContainerBase.java:1014) at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardEngine.start(StandardEngine.java:443) at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardService.start(StandardService.java:448) at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardServer.start(StandardServer.java:700) at org.apache.catalina.startup.Catalina.start(Catalina.java:552) at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(libgcj.so.90) at org.apache.catalina.startup.Bootstrap.start(Bootstrap.java:295) at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(libgcj.so.90) at org.apache.commons.daemon.support.DaemonLoader.start(DaemonLoader.java:1 77) 17:26:42,235 root INFO - orkweb stopping ... 17:26:42,236 root INFO - ======================================== Any help would be appreciated. thanks, David Witham Grab a Recession Buster combo and get almost $248 of extra value! I have the latest version of Orekaudio running from the SVN. Does this code support recording Avaya H323? It is implied in the xml config file; <!-- Use libh323voip.so for Avaya, Nortel Unistim, H.323 and MGCP --> and <!--<AvayaDetect>yes</AvayaDetect>--> <!--<RtcpDetect>yes</RtcpDetect>--> Is anyone using the code? Does it work well ? Many Thanks, Shad |

Hi Henry, Yes I did that yesterday and it did work and I can hear the recordings alright. However, still remains the security issue I mentioned below. I can put the full HTTP path of the wav file without having to log in.. For example: http://10.11.220.10:8080//2009/07/26/19/20090726_191754_10.121.230.30,29990. wav plays with no problems. Subject: [Oreka-user] Recordings default path Hi, I got orkaudio, orkweb, and orktrack all working fine under Windows XP. My problem is the common problem of getting the recorded files to playback in OrkWeb. I read all similar post in the forum but I noticed that it seems I am doing something wrong. I used orkaudio-0.5-313-win32-installer.exe to install OrkAudio which installs by default in C:\Program Files\Orkaudio accordingly the recordings are saved in the AudioRecordings folder under this path. OrkWeb is installed under C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 5.0\webapps\orkweb. I noticed that the Java script play button is pointing to the URL http://10.11.220.10:8080//2009/07/26/19/20090726_191754_10.121.230.30,29990. wav <http://10.11.220.10:8080/2009/07/26/19/20090726_191754_10.121.230.30,29990. wav> The WAV files are of course not located in that folder and that is why they are not reachable even by IE. So what is the right method if getting the recordings be saved in the proper Tomcat OrkWeb folder. Also it is important that these files are not reachable unless the correct credentials for the OrkWeb are entered. Thanks |

Pierre, The open source version of Oreka is not able to decode G729. Cheers, Henri _____ From: Pierre MAGNUS [mailto:pie...@gm...] Sent: 17 July 2009 10:58 To: ore...@li... Subject: [Oreka-user] Files with extension mfc.orig (RTP payload type:18) Hi All, I've installed and configured Oreka, and it works find. Meanwhile, some of the files have the extension xxx.mfc.orig. And in the orkaudio.log, there is the message "ERROR batchProcessing:277 - Th0 Could not find decoder for RTP payload type:18" My oreka srv is plugged on a "Extreme Summit", with port mirroring enabled, and I sniff 3 Vlan for the VoIp, only one off them can be correctly sniffed and converted to .wav files. Other one are sniffed, but not converted ... Is there a way to manually convert theses files ? Is the compression codec (G711and G729) the reason for theses files ? How can I convert all the files automatically ? Thank's for your help. Pierre |

Hi, Henri; thank you for the reply. We're currently running Ubuntu Server 9.04. Russell. Henri Herscher wrote: Russell, What is your operating system/version? Hello again, Thank you Barry for solving my issue with file permissions, it worked perfectly. I'm now left with only one more problem, regarding a difference between system time and the time oreka believes it to be. The current system clock is correct, as is the BIOS clock; these are using BST (GMT+1). I have verified this by using both 'date' and 'hwclock'. For some reason oreka believes the current time to be one hours less, which would be GMT0/UTC. While I am not bothered that the logs are one hour out, it does mean that recorded calls are placed in the wrong folders, which is somewhat irksome. Has anyone else experienced this, or could offer a pointer or two? Cheers. Russell Morris. Jonathan, We are working on this. Right now it is not possible for Oreka to be an active SIP endpoint. A good solution however would probably be to setup a server with Asterisk terminating the SIP trunks coming from the recorded phones and deploy Oreka on the same server so that it intercepts the SIP traffic. Henri _____ From: Jonathan Dixon [mailto:jon...@dx...] Sent: 09 July 2009 08:21 To: ore...@li... Subject: [Oreka-user] Recording CUCM 6 using the new recording method Hi list, Does Oreka support (or plan to support) recording Cisco CallManager 6 and above calls using the new SIP INVITE based method of call recording, negating the need for SPAN ports? CallManager sends two INVITEs to the recorder to record the call and the IP phone's built in bridge streams the RTP directly to the call recorder. I know this is supported by several commercial recorders, just wondering if there are any plans to support it here? Would be a nice feature as we have several clusters with a large number of remote sites where the odd phone needs to be recorded and the cost of putting a dedicated recorder (or SPANing back the voice VLAN) is prohibitive. Chris, We have never used Tomcat6. You might try Tomcat 5.5. Henri _____ From: Chris Pallen [mailto:chr...@sy...] Sent: 28 June 2009 11:54 To: ore...@li... Subject: [Oreka-user] Can't get OrkWeb on Windows to work I have installed OrkAudio and have it working. I cannot get OrkWeb to work. The problem seems to be with Tomcat interacting with the lib.zip files that need to be placed in the Tomcat directory. WHen these "jar" files are in the Tomcat directory, Apache seems to be completely dead (can't even go to http://localhost:8080/manager/html ) I used instructions here: (best description I could find) http://translate.google.ca/translate?hl=en&sl=ru&u=http://icepartners.ru/sis tema-zapisi-razgovorov-dlya-3cx-phone-system.html&ei=8Gk_Sr32A4nUNJPtrKgO&sa =X&oi=translate&resnum=6&ct=result&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dorktrack%2B%252Blib.zi p%2B%252B%255DTomcat%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DG to install OrkWeb/OrkTrack I have Java (appears to be 1.6.0_14) installed Installed TomCat 6.0.20 Server and MySQL 5.1 I was able to naviagte to http://localhost:8080 or http://localhost:8080/manager/html so Apache seemed to be working. However after completing the step where I copy the files from lib.zip to C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 6.0\lib I am no longer able to to navigate to the localhost pages (at all) The web browser hangs for a long time. (Yes Apache service is started!). If the lib.zip files are present or not in the Tomcat directory is the only factor that changed. If I then go and remove the files in the Tomcat directory (there were 52 of them) presto, I can now navigate to http://localhost:8080 <http://localhost:8080/> again. I tried completely unistalling and then reinstalling everything and have the same result. Questions: 1) Are the prerequisites OK (I think I have more recent versions of them than specified)? 2) Anyone have similar issues? 3) Any suggestions? Thanks! |
