Hi Wang, You are most probably using the official 0.5 release found on sourceforge. Yea I'm on linux, thanks. I looked through and added eth0 to the <Devices> list, but when orkaudio starts it still says its using the defaulted adapter, eth1, even though eth0 comes before it in the config. Where else do I need to change this? Thanks again. |

Chase,
If you are under Linux, the config.xml file is under /etc/orkaudio.
Cheers

Actually, to be honest, I'm an idiot apparently. I was letting orkaudio use
the default adapter(eth1), but I need it to use eth0. I also wasn't aware
of the manual, so thank you for the link, I"m sure that will help
tremendously. I can't seem to find the config.xml file in the orkaudio
folder with which to change the adapter though.

i'm just misunderstanding the software. Thank you.

Hi Chase,
I believe you need to recompile orkaudio if you are using feisty. Too many
changes since Hoary on which the binary sourceforge package was compiled.

Hi Rajashekhara,
The pure open source version as downloaded from sourceforge does not have
any restrictions.
Cheers

Subject: OrkAudio recording restrictions
Dear all,
I am running into an issue after placing OrkAudio and OrkWeb in test
production environment. OrkWeb is reporting very less number of calls
(around 75) where as the PBX Log shows that we have 400+ calls made between
the monitored hours from an extension.
Is there any restriction put on the free OrkAudio / OrkWeb ?
Please guide me to overcome this issue.
With Warm Regards,

James,
I'm surprised that you do not manage to record anything. The error you are
reporting should not prevent the recording from happening. It seems from the
log that you are opening the right NIC so I'm at a loss here. Can you try to
run orkaudio on the command line from the same account as you run wireshark?

Subject: [Oreka-user] No recordings on Server 2003
Hi,
I really like the idea of ORKAUDIO but I've not been able to record
anything!
I'm using this on Windows Server 2003 and I'm using the latest version.
I've confirmed that I can capture RTP G711 traffic using Wireshark on the
selected interface and I can see both sides of the traffic as I've been able
to export the conversations.
Presumably the <MediaGateways> tag is my VOIP provider's IP address, I can
see two different addresses in the Wireshark capture and I've put them both
in the tag.
I get an error in the in the orkaudio.log, 2007-05-22 21:38:20,876 ERROR
root:46 - Failed to start command line server on port:10000, I cannot find
any information for this error in the mailing lists.
I have only installed the orkaudio package.
If anyone can help me with this, I would really appreciate it.
James
