did, enjoy it

* Uncomment all source in /etc/apt/sources.list

This makes sense, it means that log4cxx as compiled in Ubuntu Hoary will not
work under LTS which does not surprise me.

What surprises me more is why you cannot compile orkaudio against the Ubuntu
LTS packaged version of log4cxx?

Did you make sure to install the devel version from the apt repository?

If yes, could you please post the compilation errors you get to the list?

the log4cxx 0.9.7-1 in in orkaudio-0.5-313-ubuntu-5.04-i386-DEBs.tar

I don't recall having seen such an error in the past. Could you try to
deploy other tapestry 4 apps to this host and see if they work fine?

Hi all,
I wonder if anyone have had this same problem. When i login succesfuly to orkweb i get server internal error with exception regarding an abstract method not implemented. I tried different updates of JRE 1.5 and versions of Tomcat and all the same.

I suspect it has to do with log4cxx, you're probably right. We need to
recompile it for this version of Ubuntu.

Is there a way you could make your vmware image available via http or ftp?

Have you run make install in both orkbasecxx and orkaudio before running
orkaudio?

Suported codecs are: GSM, iLBC, G711 ulaw and G711 alaw.

Oreka can capture perfectly  raw format conversations but it can't convert
to wav format. My log file say:

Could not find decoder for RTP payload type:4

DO you  support that payload?

This would be a matter of writing an audio capture plugin for Oreka on the
same model as the VoIP plugin or the SoundDevice plugin. This plugin would
take care of grabbing data from the hardware and presenting it in the Oreka
format.

might just be that we forgot to update it when we changed the dll interface
maybe. I need to look at it.
Nobody's tried to build it under Linux yet, that's also on the todo list for
somebody that has a bit of time to invest into it.

Hi Jason,
 
You need to tweak the service table in the database so that the hostnames
point to the right place. This will fix the orkweb audio links.

Thanks for your reply Henri. Got the remote orkaudio servers reporting to
one centralized database & got the orkaudio servers creating the WAV files
to a NAS via samba mount. However seems like the data in the database always
points back to the original orkaudio server. What does the setting
'TrackerHostname' do?  Is there a way to reflect in the orktrack

Thanks for your reply Henri. Got the remote orkaudio servers reporting
to one centralized database & got the orkaudio servers creating the WAV
files to a NAS via samba mount. However seems like the data in the
database always points back to the original orkaudio server. What does
the setting 'TrackerHostname' do?  Is there a way to reflect in the
orktrack entries(orkweb interface really)  the audio files now sit else
