Hello, 

I was hoping someone could help me. I'm currently trying to use Orkaudio to
pick up RTP traffic from our VOIP Switch. 

I've tried the installation on Windows and Linux (both Debian and CentOS4)
but although Orkaudio picks up and records RTP packets the WAV file returns
with just a hissing noise (I can send a copy if need be). I've tried
changing the conversation codec and have tried both gsm, pcmwav. I don't
have OrkTrack or OrkWeb installed yet.

Looking through the error log, nothing seems to be unusual. 

I'm quite happy to send my config.xml if that will help. 

If anyone could offer some advice I would be extremely grateful.

BlockedIpRanges is only available from subversion for now until a new
official release.

Armin,

 

You need to compile a newer version of Oreka in order to be able to control
timeout values (<RtpSessionTimeoutSec> and
<RtpSessionWithSignallingTimeoutSec>).

 

Otherwise for calls that are not recorded, do you know if the recorder even
sees the wanted RTP stream? I can take a look if you can send a pcap trace
directly to me.

Only 50-80% of the calls are recorded properly:

-Some calls are recorded in one file when the call agent gets a busy line
and dials another number immediately. If this is the case, the recording
only contains the remote party of the second Call.

-Some Calls are not recorded at all (I think it's also a problem with a fast
series of calls)

 

What can I do?

Should I set <AudioDuration>5</AudioDuration> to less?

Hi Jonass,

Thank you very much for posting compilation instructions for Ubuntu on =
your
website.

The command-line server and http server ports are listening for remote
commands. You can use them for example to ping the services and see if =
they
are up.

I were able to turn off the servers by adding lines like=20
"<CommandLineServerPort>23</CommandLineServerPort>" to config.xml=20
(ie set them to a port already used). Feels like a bad solution=20
though. Hopefully Henri can explain these servers more after the=20
holidays.
