Neal, Orkaudio logging is based on log4cxx which in turn is based on log4j. You can try looking at the documentation of those two frameworks. Hi all,
I am testing orkaudio for more than 30 extensions. I am facing an issue
with call with 0 second call time/talk time. The calls are not getting
logged in the database anywhere and the call next to that also gets missed.
Can any one help me out with this?

Thanks very much for the help. I am running a stand alone Orkaudio so I don't

Tim,
This just means that somehow orktrack is not listening on port 8080. Have
you got Tomcat working correctly with orktrack deployed?

Henri,
Thanks for the info. I found a registry setting called NetworkUseG729Only
which was set to 1. I set it to zero and it works.
There is, however, the following error in the log file. Any ideas?
2007-09-05 09:45:03,578 ERROR reporting:116 - Could not contact orktrack
Thanks again!

Henri,
Thanks for the info. I found a registry setting called NetworkUseG729Only
which was set to 1. I set it to zero and it works.
There is, however, the following error in the log file. Any ideas?
2007-09-05 09:45:03,578 ERROR reporting:116 - Could not contact orktrack
Thanks again!

Tim,
Check your Communicator settings, you might have the possibility to only
allow G.711 which would work. Otherwise, the only option is to configure the
Call Manager for G.711.

So the RTP packets are encoded using G.729A format? I am using Cisco IP
Communicator. Is there anything I can do to get it to play nice with
Orkaudio?
Thanks for the help,

So the RTP packets are encoded using G.729A format? I am using Cisco IP
Communicator. Is there anything I can do to get it to play nice with Orkaudio?
Thanks for the help,
Tim

Hi All, I have few more clarifications with regard to the OrecX storage and archive. 1. What will be the storage required for recording 1 session? ( storage/per minute ) 2. How you are going to achieve backup/archive of recorded messages on Linux system. 3. What are the methods to send email to administrators information storage status.? 4. What are the requirements of processor, storage, RAM to record conversation of 1000 users. Average call duration of a single session can be 10 min. -- Thanks & Regards, Vidura Senadeera, Network Engineer, Debug Solutions Sri Lanka.
