STITCHING WITH IRIS

 

Finished Page 2 and on to Page 3 I am running out of GAST Raven and it is out of stock everywhere

I am still stitching on Prairie Schooler 2001 yearly Santa.  Once I finish is right hand, which should be tomorrow, I will start his beard and head.  I work on him about an hour every afternoon.

I have my Christmas ornament for July all kitted up.  Actually, I have several kitted up.  Since it is Christmas in July, I think I am going to start 1 ornament on July 1st and then start 1 each Monday through out July.  I will only work on finishing the one I start on July 1st and then do the others as my monthly ornaments in August, September, October, and November.  After I finish the stitching on the July ornament I will go back to PS Santas as my afternoon stitch.

 I'm almost finished with page 2 on this project.  Couple more stitching sessions and it will be on to page 3.

I have also been stitching of PS 2001 yearly Santa and making good progress.  I only stitch on it an hour or so in the afternoon.  No picture, I will wait until the stitching is finished.

 I made a little progress on Cardinal Points this past week, but I seem to be doing more frogging than stitching.  Oh well, every little bit helps.

 I didn't think I had made much progress on this project until I compared today's picture with last Monday's.  I stitched more than I thought.

I love how this is turning out.  I can't believe how vibrant it is with only 1 strand of floss on 18CT Aida.  I have always used 2 strands before.  LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it.

I also started my June Christmas ornament on the 1st of June.  Thought I would have it stitched by now, but I don't.  Maybe by Wednesday.  I won't be able to stitch tomorrow afternoon as Linda and I are going to see the new Downton Abbey movie.  

 I sent this to The Carolina Stitcher, Faye Riggsbee to have finished into a flat fold.  She did a marvelous job.

I now have 7, yes 7, WIPs.  Cardinal Points, 4 Prairie Schooler, yearly Santas, Lizzie Kate Summer ABCs and Lizzie Kate Got Snow?.    Who am I?  I have never had more than 2 or 3 WIPs at any one time.  My plans are to finish Got Snow?, my June ornament, then Summer ABCs and then I will tackle the 4 yearly Santas one at a time.  Cardinal Points I plan on stitching on daily until it is finished.
