I am currently stitching the 1990 PS Yearly Santa. I just have his head and hat to stitch and he will be done. Then I have a whole list of what I would like to stitch in 2022. I plan on stitching a Christmas ornament every month making sure I start it on the 1st of each month.

I have a finish
I bet you are tired of seeing this project every week. Well next week may be the last time as I think I will have it finished by the end of the weekend. I only have the remaining boarder to do. Up the right side and a little bit on the top. Mistakes in the vine abound but I don't think anyone but me will know. I have been thinking of sending this to Jill Rensel Studios to have it framed but I'm not sure I like it enough to spend that kind of money getting it framed. I think the part that I don't like is the urn on the left side of the house. It is just to big in proportion to the house. I wish someone actually read this blog so they could tell me what they think.
Started my Christmas decorating today. I decorated the downstairs bathroom after a thorough cleaning. I also started cleaning the dining room and decorated the dining room table. If I haven't told you in the past, I Love Christmas. I do love Christmas but I also want to get the house decorated before December 8th when Susan comes for a few days. My plan is to finish cleaning the dining room and the living room tomorrow and then the Family room on Wednesday. I will start decorating upstairs on Thursday and then do the family room on Monday. I also have to give the guest room a lick and a promise before Sue comes and take the quilt off the bed.
I am going to sit down and do a little gift wrapping before I spend some time stitching on Merry Christmas a freebie from Hello from Liz Matthews.
It's not perfect but I don't think anyone but I don't think anyone will know where the mistakes are.
I've been working in this for 6 weeks now. This past week has been frustrating. I have a mistake. Well I had several mistakes. I fixed one big one and now I have a little one that I know where it ends but I can't figure out where it begins. It's tiny and I know I can fudge it but I don't want to. I will just keep going and count off of where I know it is correct and see what happens.
Today Bob is going out to lunch with some old high school friends. I wasn't invited.
I am in the process of FFOing 2 more smalls and hope to have them finished today. Then I am putting my sewing machine away and hope it doesn't have to come out again until after the holidays. It has been nice the last 2 days with Bob working outside to get the back porch and patio winterized. I have had the office all to myself and can sew to my hearts content.
Four weeks of progress on this project.
Stitched on 16CT Sandstone by BeStitchMe (this fabric is a dream to stitch on) using a combination of DMC, GAST and WDW. I had to make some changes because several of the GAST threads have been unavailable for several months and I wanted to start this project so bad. I am hoping to send it to Rensel Studios for framing once it is finished. Well that is if it looks OK with the changes I made.
I have 3 Fully Finished Objects as of today. One is for me, one is for Anna Kathryn Walker, and the other is for Aubrey Walker.
I finished the stitching on another ornament yesterday. My plans are to stitch ornaments in he afternoons, not necessarily a Christmas ornament, but something small. I also plan to stitch one Christmas ornament each month.

Hot off the hoop.
I hope everyone has a happy and safe July 4th.
With the voter suppression bills that are being passed in so many states across the country and our leaders in Washington. ie Republicans for the most part, not even admitting that there was an Insurrection at the Capitol on January 6th I personally don't think we have a lot to celebrate. We are headed into a Nazi run country not the democratic country I have known for the last 74 years.
We had Shirley and CJ over for dinner last night. Our dinner was grilled lamb chops, potato salad from Erin, green bean salad and blueberry buckle with vanilla ice cream. It was good to see them and to be able to hug and kiss them. My husband behaved and didn't mention politics oned.
It is time for me to go get dh up and then make some baked beans and mix up my hamburgers for dinner today.
I finished the stitching on this last night. I am so glad to have this finished as all I seemed to do is frog, frog, frog. I think it was the fabric with the little black specks and I had a lot of trouble seeing the holes.

More progress on Pretty Little Paris by Satsuma Street. I have to admit it is a struggle to stitch all the white in this project. I stitch mostly at night and I just can't seem to see the white stitched at times.
This week I finished Notre Dame and the hot air balloon. I was also stitching on a small freebie from Hello From Liz Matthews called Hope but I didn't get a lot done.
Here is my progress on Pretty Little Paris. I had lots of frogging this week so not a lot of progress.
This project so so much brighter in person than in any picture I take. I really wish it looked like the picture. I got mad at this after I frogged most of the orange border on the bottom so I started April Flip-It by Lizzie Kate. Didn't get much done but I did get a start. I really don't like having more than one project going at any one time.
I've made some good progress on this. I have about 10 or so stitched and the Eiffel Tower will be finished. I would have done them last night but it is hard for me to stitch white at night. Then I will continue to work on Notre Dame. I should soon be at the halfway mark. In person the colors look so much brighter. I like the picture better than the real thing.
I started this project a week ago today. This is what I've completed in 7 days.

I wish I could understand why Santa is holding a Sunflower. My husband said he
is celebrating Christmas in July. Maybe.
I plan on seeing of the woman at the Party Shop in Limerick is still doing finishing. If she is I will
take this to her for finishing. It isn't that I don't love the way Vonna and Faye Riggsbee finish
my stitching, I just think that I will support a local finisher.
I just received this back from the framer yesterday. I sent it to Faye Riggsbee, The Carolina Stitcher. She did an amazing job and always makes my stitching look so good.
I-m currently stitching the 1994 yearly Santa. Should have the stitching finished in a few more days. Once it is done I am going to call a local finisher to see if she is still doing finishing and see what she does with it. I love the way Faye and Vonna finish my Santas but I want to keep a local business running so I will see if Ronnie is still doing finishing.
is all finished and on display.

I have Summer all stitched and ready to finish. Just need to buckle down and do it.
I am currently stitching the 1994 Prairie Schooler yearly Santa. Yesterday I tore his beard out 3 times. I think I am finally on track with it in the right place.
I finished the stitching on all the Christmas ornaments for the Greats for 2021. I stitched an extra one so I could try out a finishing idea I have in my head.
I finished stitching 2 more 2021 Christmas ornaments for the greats. Well actually I finished 3 but didn't take a picture of the 3rd one. I also finished the Stitching on Heartstring Samplery Baby Its Cold Outside. I really didn't like stitching Baby Its Cold Outside. I disliked stitching all that white and I think it looks pretty horrible. I also made a major mistake but I think I covered up for it pretty OK.
