Little House of Needleworks - Mayflower Landing
This is the 400 year anniversary of the landing of the Mayflower so I decided to stitch this in commemoration of the landing at Plymouth Rock. So I started this about a month or so ago. I am stitching it on 16CT PTL Legacy with the called for threads.
Love it and can't wait to see if finished. Just hope that I can get it framed before the end of the year.

Today is Bob' s Birthday
Today is Bob's birthday. Not going to say how old he is. He is the love of my life. I am planning on making him a Chocolate Pie and then we are having Pork Tenderloin in Green Peppercorn Mustard sauce, asparagus and I don't remember the starch for dinner.
I also finished the stitching on another COVID-19 freebie yesterday.

Now I need to find another small to stitch on in the afternoons. I think I am ready to start another Christmas ornament. Haven't stitched Christmas in a couple of months. lol I just ordered the 2020 Prairie Schooler Yearly Santa so I can't wait to get it. I think I might start it right away. I am still stitching on LHN Mayflower landing. I didn't stitch on it at all on Saturday or Sunday. Just didn't feel like it. Last night I did put a few stitches in while watching West Wing.

More Irises
OK I threw a picture of Clematis in too. I just can't believe how beautiful flowers are this year. Maybe because of all the stay at home orders around the country the flowers are so pretty so we have something nice to enjoy as we stay tome and protect each other from COVID-19.
I am stitching. This afternoon I stitched on a JBW Lovebird that Leslie from KYKS sent me. It is a beautiful Cardinal sitting on a spool of thread. I actually thing it is suppose to be a pin cushion but I don't know if I am going to stitch the pins that are sticking into it. I should finish it in a day or so. I am also stitching LHN Mayflower Landing. I am half finished with the stitching on it and I am loving it. Today I spent some time sewing 4 small pillows together. Well actually I sew 2 of them together and hopefully I will do the other 2 tomorrow. They are Lizzie Kate Summer Smalls. I can't wait to get then all sewed, turned and stuffed.
I decorated my ornament tree this afternoon for summer. It is mostly patriotic ornaments so it will stay this way until after Labor Day. I see there are a few ornaments that I didn't do a good job of finishing so I may have to replace them or stitch them over. I have gotten a little better in finishing ornaments over the last couple of years thanks to Vonna P,, The Twisted Stitcher's tutorials.

No stitching today - Pictures of our backyard
Today Bob and I have been married for 35 years. Sounds like a long time but it doesn't seem like a long tome. Love him as much today as I did on the day we got married.
What I'm really here for is to show you some pictures from our back yard. Love that Iris. Bob just planted it last fall and it is turning out so pretty.

WIP - Little House of Needleworks - Mayflower Landing
Since this is the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower Landing I wanted to stitch something to coumarate it. I chose Little House of Needleworks Mayflower Landing. I finally started it on April 22nd and this is what I have accomplished so far.
Designer: Little House of Needleworks
Design: Mayflower Landing
Fabric: PT{ 16CT Legacy
Floss: Called for
1st Stitch: 04/22/2020
I am also stitching on Lizzie Kate Summer Smalls. I have 3 of them finished, Summer, birds and berries and just started bees.
Yesterday Part 5, May< came out for the Linen & Threads 2020 Mystery SAL so I plan on starting that tonight. I don't think I have often had 3 projects all going on at the same time.
We are still under stay-at-home orders for COVID-19. Montgomery Co. will be one of the last counties to open up since we have the 2nd highest number of cases in the state behind Philadelphia. Oh well, I have my stitching and I do a little bit of crocheting and reading. I am perfectly happy staying home.
Tomorrow we are going to clean off the back porch and set it up for the summer. Hopefully I can then spend some time out there reading and just enjoying nature.
Here are a couple of pictures of some wildflowers, we think, that Bob found at the back of our property.
Bob says they are more vibrant in person that these pictures are all washed out. I noticed this morning that the azaleas out front are starting to bloom. They are a deep coral pink and really pretty. It is suppose to be really nice tomorrow and Sunday so if them come out some more I will take some pictures.
