STITCHING WITH IRIS

I finished the following 3 Easter ornaments for my ornament tree.  I stitched these last year and didn't like the way they turned out so I re-stitched them and finished them in a different way.  They are OK but I think I give up on ovals and rounds.  All three are from 100 Weekend Cross-Stitch Gifts by Barbara Finwall and Nancy Javier.  There are a couple more Easter Egg designs and I have started stitching another one but in the meantime my Sister has asked me to stitch something for her (Lizzie Kate - Easter Flit It) so that is what I am working on during the day right now.  I did take some pictures of the tree decorated for Easter but they didn't come out very well so I will re-take them another day when it is bright and sunny.

We recently had the bathroom in our basement remodeled.  It turned out really nice and as Bob says it is now the best room in the house.   We took lots of before and after pictures and posted them in Webshots.  I don't want to download them again here as there are just way to many pictures. We have one major problem with this renovation and that is we had in-floor heating installed and it doesn't work.  It is so frustrating and I sure hope that it is an easy fix because if they have to tear the whole bathroom apart to fix it that is what they will have to do.  We are not paying the rest of the money until the heat works.

I finished this yesterday and it is now proudly hanging on my ornament tree with my other St. Patrick's Day ornaments.
