Hello bloggers and hoppers!
The idea for this hop was Joan's @MooseStash Quilting and what a fun idea for February!! Thank you Joan!! I have enjoyed visiting all the blogs and 'sweet' ideas~ have you too?
I decided to make a project from the Fat Quarter Shop's exclusive free patterns, with a little twist. I wanted my wall hanging to be mini. :-) I did the math and made the Love Note Pattern half size.
It is approx 10.25" x 12" inches~
Ok, I love it, but what if I made it even smaller?
How about 5" x 6"?
It is really easy to reduce patterns and blocks and I had a blast making the mini-mini. ;-) Ok, I might be a math nerd, but honestly~ it is easy. :-)
In the evenings I worked on the accompanying free cross-stitch pattern. I got it stitched, but not fully finished.... it will be by next year! LOL I have a small cutting board that I plan to mount it on so I can hang it in my dining nook next year. :-)
I hope you enjoyed my little 'sweet' treats. Be sure to check out all of today's bloggers~
