If you send a wireshark pcap trace of this scenario (please send offline), we can take a look. Please only capture on one single extension with a capture filter such as "host 10.0.0.56" where 10.0.0.56 would be the considered phone. Oreka Version - 1.7 Phone System - Cisco Call Manager 9.1.2.11900-12 Hi There, I hope someone is able to help me with this problem that we are having while recording calls with Oreka. When a call comes in, Oreka is picking the call up successfully, and initially records the conversation absolutely fine. However, if that call is then put on hold and then retrieved again by the user, then the audio quality deteriorates drastically to the point where you can not make out the conversation. I am using RSPAN to capture the traffic, where the switches (CISCO 3750 / 3110X) mirrors the voice vlan to a remote span vlan, and then the listening switch mirrors the span vlan to a listening switch port (Oreka). I am not sure if you need any other information? Thank you in advance, Kevin |

Is there a way to alias the [localparty] or [remoteparty] result to a different name to be used in the tapefilenaming ? For example, if either or both fields is 5123, Id like the file name to reflect "paulsphone" instead of the 5123. Im lucky that intercom calls always keep the PBX in the middle, so a recorded intercom call from paul to jim would be named paul_jim instead of 5123_5029 when using [localparty],_,[remoteparty] Thanks. -- *-Paul* |

I'm using Omnitronics IPR100 analog to VoIP converters for sending radio traffic over a WAN with one device at a central location set up as a dispatch server and other devices at the remote radio sites. The devices are set up to use the G.711-PCMA codec. When transmitting from the dispatch server (unicast) the RTP stream is successfully captured and transcoded into wav format. For some reason when a remote radio user replies it is creating an MCF file but does not successfully transcode into a wav file. Would there be a particular reason why this is not completing? In the logs I'm getting a lot of 'tcpsip:1909 - Short payload, will look if it belongs to a previous TCP stream' errors. ********************************************************************** The information transmitted in this email is intended only for the person or entity to which it is addressed and may contain confidential and/or privileged material. The mcf format is just a quick way to save the RTP data without any processing, the mcf format can be understood by reading the Oreka code. So in your case, the mcf contains blocks of audio encoded in G.723.1, probably not useful to you. As you have found out, the semantics for now is that a record API call is only successful if an orkuid is returned. This orkuid is stored in the orktape.orkUid field in the MySQL database. Hello Bilal! If you want install the graphic administration for management is necessary to have two network interface, because one must to be dedicated to listen and write recordings (this is for orkaudio - Oreka service). For example: I put my sniffer interface in promisc mode (CentOS), and the other network interface is for management, search and listen recordings from the web. Hello,
I have a recording server that was using GenToo, and crashed. I
re-installed CentOS because it was the only linux OS that you had rolled
out newer versions of. Well, since my server is pretty old, and not 64
bit compatible, I was forced to use 0.5 version of orkaudio.
I have everything working for the most part, but no matter what I do the
recording names are not changing. I absolutely must have the files named
in a specific format. My config.xml is below:
<config>
<AudioOutputPath>/var/log/orkaudio/</AudioOutputPath>
<CapturePluginPath>/usr/lib</CapturePluginPath>
<CapturePlugin>libvoip.so</CapturePlugin>
<StorageAudioFormat>gsm</StorageAudioForm>
<DeleteNativeFile>yes</DeleteNativeFile>
<TrackerHostname>tessoro</TrackerHostname>
<ClientTimeout>1000</ClientTimeout>
<CapturePortFilters>LiveMonitoring</CapturePortFilters>
<TapeProcessors>BatchProcessing, TapeFileNaming</TapeProcessors>
<TapeFileNaming>myrecordings-,[nativecallid]</TapeFileNaming>
<BatchProcessingEnhancePriority>true</BatchProcessingEnhancePriority>
<VoIpPlugin>
<Devices>eth1</Devices>
</VoIpPlugin>
</config>
Creatively Yours,

Hi you all, I work for a call center and have no control on how the audio is encoded to send it over the wire. The audio is G723.1 encoded, thus OrkAudio is not able to convert them to wav files. My question is ¿are those MCF files raw audio? Thank you in advance. -- Saul Martínez ᐧ |

Hi, Why is http://myserver:59140/command?type=record&party=xxxx Always returning success = true? Should it not return true only if sip and rtp media ip packages is going through the package analyzer compent part of oreka GPL at the same moment? Because, a recording does not really start, if the session is not allready ongoing. That is, if I first request http://myserver:59140/command?type=record&party=xxxx on my party and then make a call to a remote party, this conversation is not gonna be recorded. One could think that it should autmatically schedule the request, but it doesn't. Therefore the request should return success = false, when requesting a record before initiating the call. Also, the only thing returned from a successful record start (if we have ongoing packet traffic for the party), is an attribute within the comment xml element, called orkuid. Cannot find this orkuid anywhere. Should'nt it be the id of the orktape instead? For ex. orkuid:20140211_105941_DDMF. Regards Peder |

Peder, Put orkaudio in non-lookback mode in the main section of config.xml and you'll achieve what you want: <LookBackRecording>no</LookBackRecording> Henri On 5 February 2014 09:11, Peder Olofsson <po...@ho...> wrote: > Hi, > > How do I turn off automatic capture in Oreka GPL? Hi, How do I turn off automatic capture in Oreka GPL? I just want to use commands for starting, pausing, stoping recording using url requests such as: http://myserver:59140/command?type=record&party=xxxx http://myserver:59140/command?type=pause&party=xxxx http://myserver:59140/command?type=stop&party=xxxx Probably, some setting in the orkaudio config.xml or a setting for the orktrack application hosted in Tomcat, but I cant find any documentation for this specific setting. |

If your speex is installed in /usr/lib or /usr/local/lib, it should be found automatically. The open source version of Oreka only works with port mirroring, i.e. it will not accept SIP INVITEs from the CallManager as in BIB style recording. Your best bet is to use Oreka to record calls via intercepting skinny and RTP traffic using port mirroring, or else try the commercial version in conjunction with BIB. Has anybody configured CUCM 9.1.2 with Oreka orkaudio-1.7-844? I set up CUCM for recording (all according to Cisco Documentation), but CUCM is not sending SIP invites to the Oreka server. I am running Oreka server on RH6 on a VM. Any ideas? |

Hello; Thanks a lot for the help and all the members of this list. I need to change the recorded filenames to be as in the below example, but it is not changing although I did restart for orkaudio service "service orkaudio stop, service orkaudio start" and I have the below outputs: [UserName@CC 16]# orkaudio debug | grep TapeFileNaming 2014-01-28 16:49:10,677 INFO taperegistry:62 - Registered processor: TapeFileNaming <CapturePortFilters>LiveMonitoring</CapturePortFilters> <TapeProcessors>BatchProcessing, Reporting, TapeFileNaming</TapeProcessors> <TapePathNaming></TapePathNaming> <TapeFileNaming>Bilal,_,[year],[month],[day],_,[hour],[min],[sec],_,[localparty],_,[remoteparty]</TapeFileNaming> <BatchProcessingEnhancePriority>true</BatchProcessingEnhancePriority> But still the wave files in this format: 20140128_164915_BAPL.wav What I am missing to be able to get the wave files in this format: Bilal,_,[year],[month],[day],_,[hour],[min],[sec],_,[localparty],_,[remoteparty] Please note that currently it is stored at: /var/log/orkaudio/audio/2014/01/28/16/20140128_164915_BAPL.wav What I am missing? Regards Bilal |

Ok, it seems to be a dialer based on Asterisk. No phone numbers are to be seen in SIP INVITEs from the Asterisk to the phones, so your best bet might be to contact the developer of the dialer and see if they can inject the phone numbers as custom fields into the SIP INVITEs. When done, it's possible to extract these custom fields by using the SipExtractFields configuration option in the orkaudio config.xml Henri On 20 January 2014 04:34, driver <dr...@op...> wrote: > This is a capture from the extension side. > Thank you, > Marcin > > W dniu 2014-01-18 00:06:33 użytkownik Henri Herscher < > hen...@gm...> napisał: > > Are you recording the extension side or the trunk side? > Could you please report what the SIP INVITEs that you capture look like? > (Use wireshark with filter "sip.Method == INVITE" and export byte as > printable text) > Henri > > > On 17 January 2014 06:53, driver <dr...@op...> wrote: > >> Hello, >> >> I'd like to use some dialer software inside my company, but I found a >> problem regarding this. >> All recordings are captured, but there is no remote party phone number >> present. >> Instead there is a dialer IP in this field. Are you recording the extension side or the trunk side? Could you please report what the SIP INVITEs that you capture look like?
