Hello All, We have recently setup OrkWeb and I was hoping someone can assist me with the following questions. After viewing several general calls in the logs, I am noticing that calls on both inbound and outbound calls are being labeled as outgoing calls, some recordings are choppy, some audio on our end eventually gets removed. We are using Sipxecs Phone Server and Audiocodes Mediant 600 Gateway. Hi Pablo. After some physical rewiring at the network switch, we moved th orkaudio server from a 100meg port to a second 1gig port. Our Asterisk server is on another 1gig port (no vlans used here), so there wouldn't be any inconsistencies. There hasn't been much change in the choppiness, so I'm attributing it to other factors like hard type (we're using non-RAID), maybe memory, etc. We're happy with the setup, however, since orkaudio was instrumental in improving many things. However, if the upcoming 1.0 has any improvement, especially with choppiness reduction, I'll upgrade to right away Anyways, I'll try to restart orkaudio often to see if it changes anything on my side. Thanks! Edward On Fri, Jan 30, 2009 at 1:41 AM, Pablo Casado <phm...@gm...> wrote: > HI Edward, > > I also experience choppy playback but only after a while. HI Edward, I also experience choppy playback but only after a while. The recordings are fine for a random amount of time, hours or days, and then they become choppy. It's not the load because it started happening last night when only a few calls were happening. I restarted orkaudio and recordings were fine again. - Pablo. |

Hello Frank, I find http://www.voip-info.org/boards/ to be quite helpful at times... I came across a very similar issue while working with someone at BCBS. The oreka community is growing fast; I'm sure someone will be able to address this before I finally can! btw; This is Kyle; we've met- I was involved in your "more expensive solution" install and configuration... How's Jason? Jon, With the Sangoma RTP tap, you will only have channel number, timestamp and call duration. Subject: [Oreka-user] RTP Tap & CDR Hi List, I'm looking for some clarification with regard to the Orecx software. If I'm using a Sangoma RTP tap on an ISDN30 line along with OrkAudio, can I use this in conjunction with OrkTrack? Will OrkTrack store CDR data for the call in the database (e.g. caller/callee, length of call, etc.) or is this only supported with SIP? Tielin, For G722, you need to compile the very latest code from the Oreka sourceforge subversion repository. Tielin, RTP type 9 is G722, you need to compile the latest source code for G722 support or wait for 1.0 release that should happen soon (no firm date). Subject: [Oreka-user] Sangoma Tapping & OrkAudio
Hi,
I have a Sangoma Tap (not RTP tap) connected between my ISDN30 line and my
internal phone system.
The tap is connected to a Sangoma A102 card running on a linux box and I've
been trying to get OrkAudio to record voice coming in through the tap but
getting nothing at all.
I've done all the necessary tests on the Sangoma wanpipe drivers and all
seems to be setup correctly so I can only put this down to maybe my orkaudio
config?
The config of OrkAudio is as follows:
<config>
<AudioOutputPath>/var/log/orkaudio</AudioOutputPath>
<CapturePluginPath>/usr/lib</CapturePluginPath>
<CapturePlugin>libvoip.so</CapturePlugin>
<StorageAudioFormat>gsm</StorageAudioFormat>
<DeleteNativeFile>yes</DeleteNativeFile>
<NumBatchThreads></NumBatchThreads>
<TrackerHostname>localhost</TrackerHostname>
<EnableReporting>true</EnableReporting>
<ClientTimeout>1000</ClientTimeout>
<AudioSegmentation>false</AudioSegmentation>
<AudioSegmentDuration>10</AudioSegmentDuration>
<BatchProcessingEnhancePriority>true</BatchProcessingEnhancePriority>
<VoIpPlugin>
<Devices>w1g1, w2g1</Devices>
</VoIpPlugin>
<GeneratorPlugin>
<NumConcurrentPorts>1</NumConcurrentPorts>
<AudioDuration>5</AudioDuration>
<AudioFilename>sine.8KHz.pcm.wav</AudioFilename>
</GeneratorPlugin>
</config>
Do I need to use some other type of Capture Plugin in order to record calls
coming into the Sangoma card?
I hope someone can help; I'm pulling my hair out now. :-)
Regards,
Jon Morgan

Gopal, For Sangoma RTP tap, you need to compile the latest subversion revision of Oreka. Also, if you run OrkAudio as a Windows service, you should not see any console Window. Subject: [Oreka-user] Oreka integration with Sangoma Hi, I was trying to integrate with sangoma TDM cards. Also installed the oreka software in a windows machine and the Oreka machine IP is pointed by the RTP settings in wanpipeX.conf files.
