I managed to make this work.  At the beginning I was not getting the file
name stamped with the IP address of the IP phone taking part in a particular
conversation.  Later I modified the configuration on my switch to monitor
the entire VLAN as opposed to the interface through which all traffic
passes.

I want to record conversations on one single IP phone so I modified the
<device> parameter in config.xml to match the one assigned to the phone.
Still I could not get the software to monitor just that single phone.

Any ideas?

Just started using Oreka built from trunk, and it works great! One thing I
can't figure out though is how to get the phone extension saved into the
OrkTrack database instead of IP addresses.

I looked through the documentation and past mailing list messages, but
wasn't able to find a solution.

Does anyone know how to do this?

in 80% of my records i can hear just local party sound, and nothing from 
remote party .

Maybe someone can help me with that ?

The binary on sourceforge has been compiled on Ubuntu Hoary. You need to
recompile on your precise platform.

Aman,

 

Make sure you can connect to your MySQL server by hand:

 

$ mysql  -u root -ptest

 

Also make sure that the oreka database does exist:

 

mysql> use oreka;

 

If not, create it.

I've installed the following prereqs on Windows 2003:

 

Apache Tomcat 5.5

JRE 5

MySQL 4.1

 

OrkAudio is running fine (is generating wav files).

 

When I try to login to orkweb using admin/admin, it tells me invalid
username or password.

 

I don't normally have exp with tomcat or java (incl the JDBC).  Perhaps I've
gotten the settings wrong in mysql.hbm.xml

Ihab,

 

RTP payload 4 is G732.1, the open source version of Oreka does not support
this.

i get mcf.orig files at the AudioRecording folder and i get this message in
the log file 

"Could not find decoder for RTP payload type:4"

what is the RTP payload type 4 and what is the codec i should use and how to
use it

 

Hi there all

 

Having an issue with Orkweb at the moment, where calls are displaying in
/oreka/log/orkaudio/2009/05 for all the dates of this month so far, but
I am unable to get them to show in Orkweb. We have had a look and the
database doesn't contact the files for May, have restarted MYSQL as well
as Orkaudio. Everything looks OK with the database that I can see.

 

If anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated.
