With that I also have to prevent it from mode changes, so I've put the following in /boot/grub/menu.lst, in the "defoptions" section: # defoptions=nomodeset With this in effect I can run TORCS reasonably well, unless there are many, big-size textures to load in a scenery. Hello there ! I'm tryng to develop a program to aumomate the use on an AI algorithm with torcs. But just today i discovered an issue, when I run torcs in command line the result xml file is not created, as it is when i run it in visual mode.
