I saw the pics on the new laptop. That thing is huge yet thin. A bit like
me, actually. :) Congrats to the new toy!

Splendid!
I've almost done the main buttons for the dialogs, the alternates
should be pretty easy from there. I got my new laptop this week, so
I've been busy migrating everything over. Expect some more toys to play
with during the next week... ;-)
Nice work Chakie!

As discussed on #civil: if you can do it easily please go ahead. Otherwise
we can make do just fine without them.

Ok, So, I'm *bad* for nicking OS X styling, but I quite like this, and it seems to work really well over the top of the new backdrop. Comments before I do the rest? I'm thinking of removing 'mover' variations of these new buttons -- we only used them for click events anyway, which don't need a lot of feedback. Is that bad? I could always do a subtle hue change for the 'mover' variants if you want them. Won't take long... I should be able to rattle out quite a few buttons tomorrow if you're ok with this. Then it's widgets to look at. I'll try and resist OS X'ing those as well... ;-) G |

Should have been this week, but I've been suffering with the flu and not really arsed to sit infront of my lappy for the last week or so... :) Hopefully, new buttons will dribble in over the next few days. I'm waiting for a bit of sun so I can take some of the photos I need for source material, but once that's done it should be fairly trivial. > I think the labels could be even bigger. I think Gareth has plans to replace the buttons too. So far the buttons,
editfields and checkboxes are from the old system.

I think the labels could be even bigger. We have very little stuff on the
screens, so why not use the screen real estate that we have?

As you may have seen, Gareth has added a new background for the new setup
dialogs. The new setup theme will be more neutral and not tied to any
specific theatre. So far I like what I've seen, as it makes it all much
lighter and looks less depressing. :)
Buttons etc may/will appear sooner or later. Anyway, do you have comments
on the layout and sizes of stuff? Where should labels be? Should they be
bigger or smaller? Larger font? New texts?
I have personally seen those setup dialogs countless of times, so I'm
pretty immune towards any problems they may have, both logical and visual.
Comments?

Gareth,
that new backdrop of yours is sexy! It shows a nice image without getting
in the way. Clean and elegant. Good work!
Civil itself looks quite "interesting" with the old background changed for
the new though... :)

Basically, you need to checkout the CVSROOT module from Civil's cvstree
and edit the loginfo file to call a script which generates the email.
Uwe used a slightly different script to the one SF seem to advocate, so
I used the same one as he chose. For some reason I couldn't get
syncmail (sf's preference) to produce emails that didn't include a
stonkingly large diff of the commit...
All in all, a one line edit, so it's pretty easy...

Nice one Chakie, only made a few changes and corrected a couple of
typos.

Heh, don't worry about this, I figured out what Uwe did and copied it
for SB. Apologies for the spurious CVS commit message you all got. That

I'll go through this tonight for you. :-)
BTW, can anyone point me in the direction of the magic voodoo that
setup the cvs mailing list on SF for Civil? I want the same thing for
SB.
