Thanks dear Andrew. It is working now :) Its a bit strange why this system cannot see folders. Recent acrobat reader versions permit handle directories and move files into the app quickly. For Golly will implies several individual files in root directory. Thank you! But running golly I cannot load these files. Are you saying you dragged directories (ie. folders) into the iTunes Documents area? That won't work because Golly is only looking for *files* in the Documents area and doesn't try to look inside any sub-directories. Hi Andrew, Thanks for you reply, Yes, I had used these options to charge the files in my ipad from itunes, selecting golly application. So, these directories are saved in my ipad. But running golly I cannot load these files. Do you have tested these situation in you ipad? Thanks a lot, Genaro On 15 September 2015 at 17:15, Andrew Trevorrow <an...@tr...> wrote: > Genaro: > >> I am trying to upload my personal files in Golly for iPad. Is here some kind of > solution? Golly for iPad supports file sharing using iTunes. The following info is copied from Help > Open Tab: Golly supports the transfer of pattern files and rule files from a desktop computer to your iPad (or vice versa) by using iTunes file sharing: https://support.apple.com/en-au/HT201301 A minor annoyance is that iTunes only lets you put files into the Documents folder and not inside the various sub-folders that Golly uses. But it's not really a problem because when you switch to Golly's Open tab or tap the Pattern tab's Rule button, Golly will check for files in the Documents folder and automatically move them into the appropriate sub-folders. Any files with extensions of .rule, .tree or .table are moved into Documents/Rules/. Any .colors or .icons files are ignored. All other files are assumed to be pattern files and are moved into Documents/Saved/. Note that any existing files with the same names as the files being moved will be replaced. Andrew |

Hi everyone, Just a short question please. I am trying to upload my personal files in Golly for iPad. I can save my folders/files from Golly app preferences. But, running Golly it cannot find these directories and files. Is here some kind of solution? Thank you very much in advance!
