This is a sweet story, but why is their bond rekindling so fast? They haven't met each other since high school, when Hitsuji used to have a crush on Hatoyama. But they somehow met again and tried to befriend each other, and Hitsuji tried to help with Hatoyama's life and stuff like that. Why would he help his old crush like that? And why would the delinquent guy have a kid with him when he's incompetent? If a parent is that incompetent while being the kid's only parent, the child protective services would already have intervened. And I think they probably would date and form

Well, where to start? The series is really good even tho it might seem weird, simplicistic and the main character perverted. Althought in some sense it's the truth, I still think that this series was created with an unique idea. Power system in this anime seems very interesting and original. I've really enjoyed main characters altough a lot of them were based on the same thing and idea, they still provided good experience and fun to the story. The main character seems stupid and well, he is, but I wouldn't necessarily call it a bad thing. Character design is very interesting and cool I'd say,

I'm not saying Pluto is bad, but it's just not for me. It's like there are parallel timelines happening together, and small segments of several timelines alternate showing up, so I don't know when they are and which one is happening in what order. The art style is quite realistic and has a 90s and 00s vibe. Which is cool. And I get that the author's writing skills are amazing too, but the story doesn't suit people who like a linear storyline or a story that doesn't alternate between two scenes using segments. The characters acted in a realistic way. And it's basically an alternate

Before reading the review below, please note that it does not compare this story with other "normal" stories. So, if you are expecting an interesting story that you can enjoy reading, you will be wrong with this one. This manhwa is purely for "fan service" and is not intended for a general audience.

It's definitely a good one!
It has its own drawing style and tells a story, balancing fun and history.
The characters are a good mix and their interactions are enjoyable. I can reassure you that it won't be boring.

It's a BL story about a quiet guy who actually likes metal, saving a neighbor, and trying to befriend them. The characters go to a few events, and there are some explanations of metal and its various subgenres. The story is not very memorable, and the story's pace feels a bit fast because it's a one-shot volume. It's been a while since I last read it, but still. Weirdly, two people can come from acquaintances to friends to dating and sex in just a year or two in the story's timeline. Soushi seems to be the type of cold, aloof loner who likes alt music.

this is a collection of three stories, two which are set at the same bar and the other an earlier oneshot in the mangaka's career which is tacked on the end. all follow three different couples and there's very little overlap even between the first two, just in location and the twins who run the bar. all three also feature age gap relationships, for people who might want to avoid that.
the first story is the strongest of the three, with great characterisation and a tangible bond between the couple. the second tries to tackle some interesting ideas around sex and internalised homophobia but it mostly ...

Very fun read. Fast-paced, funny, with mostly likeable characters. Probably the most popular series I can think of that feels similar is Gintama. Big difference in quality but same ridiculous fever dream vibe.
Fun as it is, the plot's kinda ass. I think the author just wanted to have have fun drawing a delinquent action/comedy, no serious writing required. Things don't make much sense and there's no real attempt at explanation. But honestly, if you're down to just enjoy the ride, the lack of plot is easy enough to overlook and doesn't drag down the experience much. I enjoyed it because I embraced the nonsensical nature.

**CONTENT WARNING**: general misogyny, familial abuse, and a certain degree of blackmail...especially in their first few chapters. Darker contents on later chapters, including drugging and male SA.
I recognize that this title comes from a very specific genre aiming for very specific catharsis tied to emotions like justice, recovery, vengeance, regret, forgiveness, and understanding. As a result, the storytelling tends to feature more deliberate and intentional creative choices to maintain the tension. At best they're controlled, at worst they're contrived.

A rather short but pleasantly sweet story about the struggles of loneliness, insecurity, and how opening up to one another (quite literally in this scenario) can change your entire perspective. Mayo, or Mahiru under his VTuber stage name, is enjoyably sympathetic and someone that’s easy to root for even if you don’t particularly relate to his situation. His struggle of wanting to be perceived and loved while simultaneously being terrified of any potential burns that may follow is certainly something many can at least feel for. The love he receives online as Mahiru isn’t something he can just avoid or turn off, even when it’s

Pretty standard romance manga, I liked it. The plot was fine, the only thing I really didn't like was the relationship between the little brother and flower shop owner, it struck me as odd and was rather uncomfortable to read. There's nothing wrong with showing a younger character crushing on an older character, my issue was it sort of seemed like they (the author) was insinuating it could be reciprocated. The characters were all unique from each other and the way they interacted made for a fun read, I specifically liked Shinbashi and his relationship with Sayaka. I didn't like him at first but as

Complete story that has a beatiful plot and art, the protagonist is cunning but also human. We get villains but as the name sugest the story goes agains the money and power of the world. Friendship goes both ways with heroes and villains but are they really the villains or do they have the right conections at the right moment. Even all that said the story has its ups and downs the characters have their own toughts so at this point is just to choose who will you cheer for and what can you learn about.

Hmm, where to begin? Well, Chainsaw Man was, for me, the first anime that made me want to read the manga. I never liked reading manga.
Firstly, Part 1 is a masterpiece, with a well-defined beginning, middle, and end—that's my opinion.
Then comes Part 2, which introduces Asa, a character who made me want to keep watching even more and made me love her personality. I know many people don't like her, but I really liked her. Not to mention Yoru—even though I hated her, deep down I also liked her.

This manga was pretty frustrating. On the one hand, the art is amazing and it is a very funny series. On the other hand, however, just like with Prison School, the author Akira Hiramoto always seems to experience major burn out with his works. At least with Prison School, which is much longer, there is a big chunk of the story which is amazing before the quality falls off a cliff, but this series does not have that luxury. Just as it starts to get super interesting and near the same level as the first 2/3 of Prison School, it just ends.

This was pretty good but I had some issues with it, mainly the fact that I am big stupid and don't really get a lot of the what the author was going for. He is too big brain for me and as someone who already struggles enough with reading comprehension a lot of it went over my head. I also didn't really like any of the characters. The art was pretty decent and the story was interesting enough to keep me engaged throughout. Overall I would say this is the kind of story you either love or hate, and while I wouldn't

Randomly caught up to Chapter 15 in 20 minutes, I noticed this manga got axed at chapter 29 so translated chapters are very late
Considering this series was out several years ago, it's just a 3/5 manga only. The MC protected by the goddess to become a OP Holy Knight decided to become a Dark Knight lowkey for her sake? The idea itself is all right, story wise it's not as good? The plot feels terribly simple plus the personality of the MC dude is cringey enough to interfere in the story?

Not sure if it's the actual story's problem or it's the translation problem, but the sentence structure is really hard to understand. Like, it feels like I'm reading some ancient text from the Renaissance or something. It's hard to decode what they're saying. I read actual novels from time to time, but if someone tries to translate a novel, the translator might make the story hard to read because of their skills. This is what this story suffers from and why I only read one chapter and dropped it. Just don't read it. And it's also unrealistic that a person would have 100 girlfriends. If

Quick review here;
The Stellar Swordmaster is widely regarded as a great manhwa, and it lives up to it's hype. At the point of me writing this review, there has been 114 chapters released, so either mine or the public opinion my change, but so far it's very promising.
Storywise one of the main reason why to read it, is because there has been no clear 'ending' or final goal set for our story, as our protagonist doesn't have a "destined ending". He does have a goal in mind, but I highly doubt completing it would make an end to this great manhwa. At least not ...

After reading the complete and final ending of Chainsaw Man, it left me and millions of other readers with confused and mixed feelings.
The truth is I always thought Fujimoto was an overrated and alright author, his style is irrational, spontaneous and random which is what gives life to his series abut also the death of it.

The manhua has a really interensting concept in my opinion and for the first 500 chapters you get to enjoy a story where the mc is gonna get to build his town progressively along with introducing tech to this new world and interacting with a roster of witchers with a lot of different personalities and habilities making this a nice read, however and i really want to emphasize this, this manhua has the most rushed ending i've ever read, if you found the anime interesting and come to this i recomend to DONT read it cause i can promise you its gonna be a huge

Before I explain what I didn’t like about ‘Mistress Fortune’, I will say I enjoyed the concept of this manga and I wish it was a lot longer. It was rushed and cramped together, but this had a lot of potential otherwise. I would’ve loved to have seen more aliens and other psychics collaborate with the main characters, and see history and futuristic events with the PSI Organization that recruited the main characters to begin with. I know Arina Tanemura intended to keep this as a short story, but it could’ve been better executed, especially without sexual elements.

It’s rare for me to call something “perfect,” but Monster comes incredibly close.
What starts as a relatively simple story evolves into a deeply layered psychological thriller. Naoki Urasawa masterfully connects past, present, and future, rewarding attentive readers with a tightly woven narrative where every detail matters.
The pacing is excellent—despite being dialogue-heavy, it’s very easy to read and hard to put down. The tension is constant, driven by well-timed reveals, cliffhangers, and the looming presence of Johan.
The cast is one of the strongest I’ve seen. Every character feels human, flawed, and meaningful to the story—even minor ones leave an impact. Tenma’s journey is compelling, and characters ...

Officially speaking, Spotted Flower is a standalone work. So I’ve read it as one, not being familiar with the story of Genshiken at all. And I can tell you that right off the bat it feels like you are missing out. Like the author expects you to fill the blanks, to already be familiar with the previous story of characters we are supposedly meeting for the first time, and the relationship they have with the other characters that we are also meeting for the first time.

A very mixed bag of short stories. There are good and bad ones, creepy and wholesome - you never know what kinda story you get next. I’d say half of them are good and the other half is kinda meh. The art, as always, is very nice though.
In terms of content warnings - it’s pretty tame, with minimum nudity, until at some point closer to the end suddenly the characters and pretty explicit imagery from Ryouki Keiji Marusai appear. So viewer discretion is advised. I got the impression that this part acts as an ad for that book.
I’d recommend it, but not strongly.

Simple, is it yuri? No, is it worth reading? Not if youre looking for a girls romance story. This is the classic "more than friends, less than lovers" and im sorry to disappoint but it never goes beyond that.

The beginning of everything that would become Tokyo Ghoul.
This one-shot functions almost as a "finished draft" of the work we know today. It's here that you can clearly see the foundations of the franchise, not only in concept, but also in atmosphere, tone, and even some of the dynamics between characters. And, honestly, it's impressive how well-defined it already was from this initial point.
Even though it's a short story, the chapter delivers a very solid overview of the universe that would be expanded later. The brutality is already prominently present, the moral conflict between humans and ghouls already exists, and especially that constant feeling of ...

A light novel that serves as a direct continuation of Naruto.
This work basically presents the same plot as the film The Last, so don't expect major narrative changes or new events. The story structure is practically the same, following the development of the relationship and the central events that serve as an important bridge within the Naruto universe.
Even so, there's an interesting point here: the reading experience. Unlike the film, where everything is already visually constructed for you, the light novel demands imagination. At first, I thought this manhwa was like other regression-system themed ones, where the main character gains an advantage from knowing future information and then becomes overpowered. But the story ended up developing in an unexpected way. The main character does have the advantage of future knowledge, but the story doesn’t always go according to his plans. This keeps the manhwa from becoming as boring as others with similar themes (system, hunters, dungeons, apocalypse) where the main character is overpowered. This manhwa gives characters other than the protagonist a role in the story. Conflicts aren’t all resolved by the main character alone—other characters also play

It isn't a funny manga, and it's not particularly charming or cute. It's about struggling to live with depression, and moves at a glacial pace. Some basic chores or the preparation of one meal can take an entire chapter, and there's no sense of accomplishment in doing what ordinary people do every day. All the main character has is a vague idea of "doing better" to cling to as she continues to live in misery.
Because that's how it feels. The struggle for mental wellness can seem insurmountable, and the baby steps you take to get there feel infantilizing and painful. This manga really captures this ...

This manga is supposed to be a comedy, but the humor just doesn’t land. Most of the jokes fall flat, so anyone expecting something genuinely funny will probably be disappointed.
The romance is cute and easily the most enjoyable part, but it’s not strong enough to carry everything on its own. There’s not much depth, and it doesn’t really make up for the other weak points.
The story also lacks a clear sense of direction, which makes it hard to stay invested. On top of that, the main character’s motivation feels pretty weak and unconvincing, so it’s difficult to really care about what’s happening or root for ...

Ao Ashi is a story about understanding a person's limitations vis-a-vis the world around them, about how people's experiences to their home countries overlap with their experiences with their immediate social circles. It tells a story about players struggling to contrast belonging to a rising footballing power - albeit by no means a leading one globally - with their own sense of ambition, and negotiating between wanting to rise and prioritize ambition - even if it means risking the alienation that puts a sense of distance between you and others - and alternatively staying back home and reforming what you can, even if it

Chainsaw Man opens with an absurd premise: devils walk among humanity, feared and weaponized in equal measure. What begins as a chaotic “what if” quickly settles into a tightly controlled narrative, defined by cinematic pacing, sharp thematic focus, and a compelling cast. It draws the reader in with irreverent humour and visceral action, only to unsettle them with an undercurrent of unease that grows more pronounced over time. Moments of sincerity are built with care, then fractured without warning. Its greatest strength lies in its ability to constantly reframe its world. Like stepping onto a ride that never stabilizes, it is as disorienting as

Love triangle with some angel demon lore sprinkled in.
It doesn't really explore the otherworldly aspects regarding angel/demon societal structures or magic systems, so their existence doesn't really add much to the series beyond strictly necessary narrative ties. It's there moreso just to stand out from other romance drama series.
That being said, even with the expectation that the setting is just fluff, I wouldn't say the characters or story are anything to write home about. The romance felt hollow and characters didn't pull me in, but I could see some people enjoying this.
If you like these sorts of stories, go for it. Otherwise, skip.

The artstyle is very good (it leaves nothing to complain about).
The characters are fun and I'm sure they will get more depth as the story continues but since the story is light-hearted anyway I don't see an issue in the characters not being 100% well-rounded.
Since only 27 chapters have been released at this point I cannot give a detailed review yet, but those 27 chapters were extremely entertaining and I just binged them in ...

The sequel to the grand Aincrad arc arrives with Sword Art Online: Fairy Dance, bringing a different approach, but still directly connected to the previous events. It was, in fact, one of the first manga I bought, so my experience with this work has a certain sentimental value that weighs on my evaluation.
Visually, the manga already demonstrates a clear evolution compared to the Aincrad arc of Sword Art Online. The character design is more consistent, clean, and pleasing, and the art in general is more competent, something that greatly helps with immersion. Furthermore, the fact that this arc is short, with only three volumes, makes ...

A light and fun short story to warm your heart and elicit good laughs.
This manga (if we can even call it that) revolves around a simple premise, but executed in a humorous way: a girl finally decides to confess her feelings to the boy she likes. So far, everything is as expected for a romantic comedy; the difference lies precisely in the absurdity of the situation. The boy also likes her, but there's a small (and hilarious) problem: he simply can't accept the confession… because she literally tries to buy him.
This comedic exaggeration is what sustains the story. The narrative plays with this contrast between ...

Looking for free dopamine?
Then go ahead and give this manhwa a shot.
The story is fun, entertaining and most of all, satisfying. We get to see the MC start his acting career and work his way up to top of the acting industry.
All of the characters are likeable and while the plot is not something extraordinary, it will still make you want to continue reading. +Bonus Point for the humor
The only thing that bothers me a tiny bit is that the MC was already overpowered to begin with due to his ”cheats”. Personally I would've preferred if he struggled a little more in the beginning, ...

The high score for this manga really confused me. I mean this is about as bad as isekai gets. It's boring as dirt slice-of-life with an overpowered MC who is basically a god. Everyone he meets instantly loves him. He immediately gets the required isekai slave harem. It's supposed to be based on a game but where is the strategy? All we get are status screens telling us how powerful he is, which is unbelievably lazy writing. It's meaningless action scene -> harem comedy -> meaningless action scene, repeat for a hundred more chapters. It's like the author is doing everything in their power to

This could have been a cute and somewhat dramatic manga if it had enough time and wasn't sent out with an axe ending.
I'm glad it didn't get an endless stretch like most romcoms do and yet 14 chapters were not enough :/ .
Considering that the story got an axe, it still had an okay ending! Let's see why. The main point of the story is Momiji being saved, while Miyato accepted his feelings and dated Momiji and of course the star of the story is Multiverse Miyato not only saved Momiji but also enjoyed the time he spent with her!

I can't believe that it is finally over. I remember being new to anime and trying to find new shows to watch when i stumbled upon csm and liked it so much that i completed the season in a single night. After waiting for 1-2 years for the reze movie, i finally decided to just read the manga and i am so glad that i did. Easily, one of the best mangas i have ever read. (granted, i haven't read that many). I do think that csm part 1 is one of the best stories i have ever experienced. For me, that is a 10/10

At first I scrolled past this manga when I was searching for something to read but for some reason I came back and read the synopsis and I was like, wait it's a yuri?? Since the synopsis was so interesting I gave it a try with no expectations at all but oh my god I am so glad I gave this a chance! I absolutely love the art style, every chapter kept me wanting more and kept me so intrigued by every character's backstory or getting more information on why they are the way they are. I enjoyed that the story was a mix of

Every time my best friend goes into his local manga store, he checks the used section for the shittiest looking BL he can find to gift me. Most of the time we spend our time laughing at the bad writing and awkward art, but sometimes we find gold.
The Vampire and his Pleasant Companions is a funny one, because it began publishing in 2016 but looks more like 2006. That's what drew the bestie's eye to it, after all. However, do not be deterred. Part of this is because the art in the actual manga looks better than the covers, but also because even if it ...

Best thing I've read in a while. I was glued to the screen and couldn't stop reading because it was so captivating. I went through the two volumes of the light novel and then devoured all 153 chapters of the web novel. Now, I feel the same emptiness you feel after following a show for years, only to reach the finale and feel hollow inside. I'm not exaggerating, that's how good this was. The emptiness I feel now is proof of that. This is truly one of a kind.
I've read and watched plenty of romcoms and gender-benders, but this is a first for me. It ...

The "scary" teacher is actually a new, shy, and really clumsy airhead.
Due to a series of unexpected events, the MC gets to see this side of her before the rest of the students do (and I'm not just talking about her personality).
With the MC's help, the teacher slowly improves how she teaches her classes, and the rest of the students start realizing she isn't as creepy as they thought—while panties are constantly being flashed, of course (since the cast basically turns into the MC and an all-female group that slowly forms a harem).
It's super ecchi. There are boobs and panties in literally every chapter, reaching ...
