Maru to Batsu is a short one-shot in Shounen Jump Plus comprising of 60 or so pages and deals with the issue of discrimination in society. As per the plot, people suddenly have a cross (batsu) or a circle (maru) on top of their head and this leads to the people with a cross on their heads becoming an oppressed minority class.
The art of the manga itself is not very polished but the writing and use of metaphors is very well crafted. Overall I feel the story was a bit rushed, maybe because it is a one-shot but the message itself is very clear ...
