death loop, what can I say? 9/10. Pure fantasy without any game system and overly exaggerated magic
premise - 8/10
a weak swordsman trying to become a knight seems impossible, but the mc gains the ability to reset the day if he dies. Would this help the talentless warrior to become a powerful knight or would it be a curse, repeating his death while his sanity slowly decay? It hooked me up, like any other death loop story would
world building - 9/10
unlike other medias, this manhwa doesnt take the title "knight" lightly. Not anyone that swings a sword gets to be a knight, which i really like about this story. The magic in this world also isnt just "i cast fireball". Not everybody can use magic. Magic in this world isnt treated as "standard weaponry" which is a really nice change
art - 7/10
from the cover you can already tell the art wont be dissapointing, and it didnt. Not sure what more i can say about it.
characters - 9/10
the dynamic between enkrid and his squad is nothing short of exceptional, and the chemistry is also very enjoyable. Its also shown that enkrid is nothing but an ordinary soldier, and the only reason he was able to become strong is through his power to reset the day, repeating hundreds of "today" just to master skills his talented squad could learn in a week
plot - 8/10
the story is going into a pretty simple premise of the mc trying to be a knight, but each time the mc faced a challenge that forces him into repeating "today" are written so damn well. Each wall the mc face are never repititive. The loop mechanic itself is used by the mc as a mean to train rather than a miserable attempt to escape the situation
overall, id say its a must read. Drop any slop garbage you're reading rn and try this manhwa out.
