One Piece

Barely surviving in a barrel after passing through a terrible whirlpool at sea, carefree Monkey D. Luffy ends up aboard a ship under attack by fearsome pirates. Just watch One Pace. Use the One Pace spreadsheet guide. Thank me later. One piece's anime biggest issue is it's pacing
/filler/padding (and frankly the exaggerated fanservice). Judt watch One Pace. They have come a long way. And watch the extended cuts for when they are available (at the time of this review just later arcs). The 150 hours is not worth it for a few extra decent secenes and an and insane amount of filler and padding.

Just watch One Pace.

Tbh I' just waiting for One Pace before I catch up.in the anime but i caught up in the manga once I had caught up ... in the anime and it was worth.

I cant describe how much i loved pre timeskip one piece. It felt like i was watching something born from real passion and feelings so seeing what one piece has deteriorated to infuriates me. Characters i loved reduced to shells of their fromer selves,the story turning to dogshit,the character designs are either goonerbait or uninspired and ridiculous. I wish one piece could turn back to the golden days like alabasta so that i could fall in love with it again. I miss it when zoro laughed,i miss it when sanji did something else other than getting a boner,i miss it when luffy was real and ... kindhearted,i miss it when smoker was on their tail,i miss it when the powers were creative and fun,i miss my one piece.

one piece is the most overrated piece of fiction that will ever exist in this timeline how popular and successful it is is borderline criminal it span through out 1000+ episodes/ chapters and it offers little stakes or 0 characters development ,luffy (he's the MC) of chapter 1 is the same luffy chapter 1050 ,the plot is always the same: luffy meet someone oppressed / in need of help on a island and he fight through out the arc to save them/help them with variations here and there , the other main characters/the crew are not that bad and are more interesting but with luffy ... spearheading the story like a baboon they have little weight to carry , the show got roughly 1200 characters only about 20 have impact on the story and 10 u gonna see regularly the overhaul story is as shallow as it gets luffy is the angelically good hearted protagonist helping others and beating the evil guy 0 depth 0 nuance no meaningful experiences ,only 2 characters ever dies in the wholes 1000 chapters and their death have little to none impact on luffy or the crew i watched hundreds of animes and i am not gonna exaggerate but i consider one piece is one of the worst
