Ok, I guess not... So, I applied the patch, and had to add two settings in the database by hand in the cacti/settings table: autologin_guest_user on guest_user guest The piece of patch for graph_header.php didn't apply for me, but I couldn't get it to read url_path from the settings table, so I just hardcoded: Welcome <strong><?php print read_config_option("guest_user");?></strong> (<a href="/cacti/login.php">Login</a>) (change /cacti/ as relevant for you). A rar is not a tar.gz; but that's how it is on windows; sigh. The files all look as expected, so I'm missing any clue right now. And the error message points to a file that is not changed by this plugin R. I have a data query based on the host mib to graph file system usage. It works well when add a device and create the graphs. But, if a file system is created after adding the server to the cacti, unless that file system is added, cacti will not graph. I know there is a script in cli directory to re-index all hosts, but is there a script somewhere to walk all these file systems and determine which is not graphing. Thanks for the reply. The Ubuntu machine has a file by the name 'cacti' under '/etc/cron.d/' directory and the entry within it is as follows: */5 * * * * www-data php /usr/share/cacti/site/poller.php >/dev/null 2>&1 1. I added 2 devices. 2. First, the local Ubuntu machine with IP 127.0.0.1 and 2nd, a Windows machine with its proper IP. 3. I chose the 'Generic SNMP template'. 4. For Ubuntu, it says 'SNMP error'. 5. For Windows, it detects the processor speed, Windows Family, etc, and also says 'Created Graphs'. However, no graphs are shown. I tried changing 'www-data' to 'admin' (the user that has full privileges and that which I login to Cacti as). Any idea, what else can be done? Marc, Thanks for your helpful reply. The thing is I have a shell script (to add data source) and will be passing parameters (template name, data source name, host ID, path to the rrd file, internal data source name and data source type) to this script via the command line. If check those checkboxes, then the program will compain and will not be accepting those parameters... Is it possible for you to please take a look at the code and see if I should change something and fix the issue? At this point, after running the script, "Data Source Type" and "Data Source Name" will be added to "data_template_rrd" table in cacti database, "Data Source Name" and "Data Source Path" will be added to "data_template_data" table in cacti database. The only thing right now, is that I'd like to see all the parameters on the data source page interface not only those two sections... I'll atatch the code to this email and would really appreciate any help. When you setup a template, each option has a
'Use Per-Graph Value (Ignore this Value)'
unless you check those, they will not show up for you to edit/change.
