America is a country of undoubted vast strengths—technological, economic, and cultural—yet its government is profoundly failing its own citizens and the world. Trump’s victory is very easy to understand. It was a vote against the status quo. Whether Trump will fix—or even attempt to fix—what really ails America remains to be seen.

The rejection of the status quo by the American electorate is overwhelming. According to Gallup in October 2024, 52% of Americans said they and their families were worse off than four years ago, while only 39% said they were better off and 9% said they were about the same. An NBC national news poll in September 2024 found that 65% of Americans said the country is on the wrong track, while only 25% said that it is on the right track. In March 2024, according to Gallup, only 33% of Americans approved of Joe Biden’s handling of foreign affairs.

At the core of the American crisis is a political system that fails to represent the true interests of the average American voter. The political system was hacked by big money decades ago, especially when the U.S. Supreme Court opened the floodgates to unlimited campaign contributions. Since then, American politics has become a plaything of super-rich donors and narrow-interest lobbies, who fund election campaigns in return for policies that favor vested interests rather than the common good.

Two groups own the Congress and White House: super-rich individuals and single-issue lobbies.

The world watched agape as Elon Musk, the world’s richest person (and yes, a brilliant entrepreneur and inventor), played a unique role in backing Trump’s election victory, both through his vast media influence and funding. Countless other billionaires chipped into Trump’s victory.

Many (though not all) of the super-rich donors seeks special favors from the political system for their companies or investments, and most of those desired favors will be duly delivered by the Congress, the White House, and the regulatory agencies staffed by the new administration. Many of these donors also push one overall deliverable: further tax cuts on corporate income and capital gains.

Many business donors, I would quickly add, are forthrightly on the side of peace and cooperation with China, as very sensible for business as well as for humanity. Business leaders generally want peace and incomes, while crazed ideologues want hegemony through war.

There would have been precious little difference in all of this with a Harris victory. The Democrats have their own long list of the super-rich who financed the party’s presidential and Congressional campaigns. Many of those donors too would have demanded and received special favors.

Tax breaks on capital income have been duly delivered by Congress for decades no matter their impact on the ballooning federal deficit, which now stands at nearly 7 percent of GDP, and no matter that the U.S. pre-tax national income in recent decades has shifted powerfully towards capital income and away from labor income. As measured by one basic indicator, the share of labor income in GDP has declined by around 7 percentage points since the end of World War II. As income has shifted from labor to capital, the stock market (and super-wealth) has soared, with the overall stock market valuation rising from 55% of GDP in 1985 to 200% of GDP today!

The second group with its hold on Washingtons is single-issue lobbies. These powerful lobbies include the military-industrial complex, Wall Street, Big Oil, the gun industry, big pharma, big Ag, and the Israel Lobby. American politics is well organized to cater to these special interests. Each lobby buys the support of specific committees in Congress and selected national leaders to win control over public policy.

The economic returns to special-interest lobbying are often huge: a hundred million dollars of campaign funding by a lobby group can win a hundred billion of federal outlays and/or tax breaks. This is the lesson, for example, of the Israel lobby, which spends a few hundred million dollars on campaign contributions, and harvests tens of billions of dollars in military and economic support for Israel.

These special-interest lobbies do not depend on, nor care much about, public opinion. Opinion surveys show regularly that the public wants gun control, lower drug prices, an end of Wall Street bailouts, renewable energy, and peace in Ukraine and the Middle East. Instead, the lobbyists ensure that Congress and the White House deliver continued easy access to handguns and assault weapons, sky-high drug prices, coddling of Wall Street, more oil and gas drilling, weapons for Ukraine, and wars on behalf of Israel.

These powerful lobbies are money-fueled conspiracies against the common good. Remember Adam Smith’s famous dictum in the Wealth of Nations (1776): “People of the same trade seldom meet together, even for merriment and diversion, but the conversation ends in a conspiracy against the public, or in some contrivance to raise prices.”

The two most dangerous lobbies are the military-industrial complex (as Eisenhower famously warned us in 1961) and the Israel lobby (as detailed in a scintillating new book by historian Ilan Pappé). Their special danger is that they continue to lead us to war and closer to nuclear Armageddon. Biden’s reckless recent decision to allow U.S. missile strikes deep inside Russia, long advocated by the military-industrial complex, is case in point.

The military-industrial complex aims for U.S. “full-spectrum dominance.” It’s purported solutions to world problems are wars and more wars, together with covert regime-change operations, U.S. economic sanctions, U.S. info-wars, color revolutions (led by the National Endowment for Democracy), and foreign policy bullying. These of course have been no solutions at all. These actions, in flagrant violation of international law, have dramatically increased U.S. insecurity.

The military-industrial complex (MIC) dragged Ukraine into a hopeless war with Russia by promising Ukraine membership in NATO in the face of Russia’s fervent opposition, and by conspiring to overthrow Ukraine’s government in February 2014 because it sought neutrality rather than NATO membership.

The military-industrial complex is currently—unbelievably—promoting a coming war with China. This will of course involve a huge and lucrative arms buildup, the aim of the MIC. Yet it will also threaten World War III or a cataclysmic U.S. defeat in another Asian war.

While the Military-Industrial Complex has stoked NATO enlargement and conflicts with Russia and China, the Israel Lobby has stoked America’s serial wars in the Middle East. Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu, more than any U.S. president, has been the lead promoter of America’s backing of disastrous wars in Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Syria.

Netanyahu’s aim is to keep the land that Israel conquered in the 1967 war, creating what is called Greater Israel, and to prevent a Palestinian State. This expansionist policy, in contravention of international law, has given rise to militant pro-Palestinian groups like Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis. Netanyahu’s long-standing policy is for the U.S. to topple or help to topple the governments that support these resistance groups.

Incredibly, the Washington neocons and the Israel Lobby actually joined forces to carry out Netanyahu’s disastrous plan for wars across the Middle East. Netanyahu was a lead backer of the War in Iraq. Former Marine Commander Dennis Fritz has recently described in detail the Israel Lobby’s large role in that war. Ilan Pappé has done the same. In fact, the Israel Lobby has supported U.S.-led or U.S.-backed wars across the Middle East, leaving the targeted countries in ruins and the U.S. budget deep in debt.

In the meantime, the wars and tax cuts for the rich, have offered no solutions for the hardships working-class Americans. As in other high-income countries, employment in U.S. manufacturing fell sharply from the 1980s onward as assembly-line workers were increasingly replaced by robots and “smart systems.” The decline in the labor share of value in the U.S. has been significant, and once again has been a phenomenon shared with other high-countries.

Yet American workers have been hit especially hard. In addition to the underlying global technological trends hitting jobs and wages, American workers have been battered by decades of anti-union policies, soaring tuition and healthcare costs, and other anti-worker measures. In high-income countries of northern Europe, “social consumption” (publicly funded healthcare, tuition, housing, and other publicly provided services) and high levels of unionization have sustained decent living standards for workers. Not so in the United States.

Yet this was not the end of it. Soaring costs of health care, driven by the private health insurers, and the absence of sufficient public financing for higher education and low-cost online options, created a pincer movement, squeezing the working class between falling or stagnant wages on the one side and rising education and healthcare costs on the other side. Neither the Democrats nor Republicans did much of anything to help the workers.

Trump’s voter base is the working class, but his donor base is the super-rich and the lobbies. So, what will happen next? More of the same—wars and tax cuts—or something new and real for the voters?

Trump’s purported answer is a trade war with China and the deportation of illegal foreign workers, combined with more tax cuts for the rich. In other words, rather than face the structural challenges of ensuring decent living standards for all, and face forthrightly the staggering budget deficit, Trump’s answers on the campaign trail and in his first term were to blame China and migrants for low working-class wages and wasteful spending for the deficits.

This has played well electorally in 2016 and 2024, but will not deliver the promised results for workers in the long run. Manufacturing jobs will not return in large numbers from China since they never went in large numbers to China. Nor will deportations do much to raise living standards of average Americans.

This is not to say that real solutions are lacking. They are hiding in plain view—if Trump chooses to take them, over the special interest groups and class interests of Trump’s backers. If Trump chooses real solutions, he would achieve a strikingly positive political legacy for decades to come.

The first is to face down the military-industrial complex. Trump can end the war in Ukraine by telling President Putin and the world that NATO will never expand to Ukraine. He can end the risk of war with China by making crystal clear that the U.S. abides by the One China Policy, and as such, will not interfere in China’s internal affairs by sending armaments to Taiwan over Beijing’s objections, and would not support any attempt by Taiwan to secede.

The second is to face down the Israel lobby by telling Netanyahu that the U.S. will no longer fight Israel’s wars and that Israel must accept a State of Palestine living in peace next to Israel, as called for by the entire world community. This indeed is the only possible path to peace for Israel and Palestine, and indeed for the Middle East.

The third is to close the budget deficit, partly by cutting wasteful spending—notably on wars, hundreds of useless overseas military bases, and sky-high prices the government pays for drugs and healthcare—and partly by raising government revenues. Simply enforcing taxes on the books by cracking down on illegal tax evasion would have raised $625 billion in 2021, around 2.6% of GDP. More should be raised by taxation of soaring capital incomes.

The fourth is an innovation policy (aka industrial policy) that serves the common good. Elon Musk and his Silicon Valley friends have succeeded in innovation beyond the wildest expectations. All kudos to Silicon Valley for bringing us the digital age. America’s innovation capacity is vast and robust and an envy of the world.

The challenge now is innovation for what? Musk has his eye on Mars and beyond. Captivating, yet there are billions of people on Earth that can and should be helped by the digital revolution in the here and now. A core goal of Trump’s industrial policy should be to ensure that innovation serves the common good, including the poor, the working class, and the natural environment. Our nation’s goals need to go beyond wealth and weapons systems.

As Musk and his colleagues know better than anybody, the new AI and digital technologies can usher in an era of low-cost, zero-carbon energy; low-cost healthcare; low-cost higher education; low-cost electricity-powered mobility; and other AI-enabled efficiencies that can raise real living standards of all workers. In the process, innovation should foster high-quality, unionized jobs—not the gig employment that has sent living standards plummeting and worker insecurity soaring.

Trump and the Republicans have resisted these technologies in the past. In his first term, Trump let China take the lead in these technologies pretty much across the board. Our goal is not to stop China’s innovations, but to spur our own. Indeed, as Silicon Valley understands while Washington does not, China has long been and should remain America’s partner in the innovation ecosystem. China’s highly efficient and low-cost manufacturing facilities, such as Tesla’s Gigafactory in Shanghai, put Silicon Valley’s innovations into worldwide use … when America tries.

All four of these steps are within Trump’s reach, and would justify his electoral triumph and secure his legacy for decades to come. I’m not holding my breath for Washington to adopt these straightforward steps. American politics has been rotten for too long for real optimism in that regard, yet these four steps are all achievable, and would greatly benefit not only the tech and finance leaders who backed Trump’s campaign but the generation of disaffected workers and households whose votes put Trump back into the White House.

The first step is face down the MIC. Classic econ logic, assume a can opener. The first step is end CIA impunity. Otherwise they’re just going to kill Trump, as they’ve threatened to do for eight years. When you take CIA’s get-out-of-jail-free cards away, a president can exercise his lawful powers. Once CIA’s arbitrary power of impunity is gone, their Izzie henchmen lose their clout.

This technocratic innovation bafflegab is standard US electoral bullshit. No one believes it any more. As a US economist, Sachs is indoctrinated with an idiosyncratic civic religion like the cargo cults. The entire civilized world has committed to the ECOSOC system, in which states allocate their available resources to human rights. Sachs cannot begin to fathom this. It does not compute. He lives in a dream world where Goldman Sachs does his central planning, and it’s perfectly normal to produce six million see-through office buildings and dump them on Wework fraudsters when they default. Or pay bonuses for COVID deaths.

The problem with esteemed, credible experts breaking ranks is that they’re all still brainwashed. They can’t imagine that the world consensus codified in law and institutions can exist. They’re blind to it. Russia beats their shit kleptocracy to a pulp and they can’t see why.

  2. “ballooning federal deficit which now stands at nearly 7% of GDP”

    ??????????????

current US annual GDP is c. $27,000,000,000,000, while

current FEDgov debt alone (never mind other .gov) is c. $36,000,000,000,000 and growing at a rate of c. $1 trillion every 90 days. So the total deficit to GDP ratio is c. 133%.

    presumably, Sachs meant annual deficit?

as for all the well-intentioned nostrums proposed by Sachs, Trump47 and his team of Zionist warmongers and Zionist plutocrats will do not a one of them. In most cases, they will do precisely the opposite.

You cannot, as in you never, EVER can, realistically or effectively serve the interests of “the poor,” so long as you keep on mindlessly, ferociously, malignantly importing MORE of the poor, and then *MORE* of the poor, and then MOREANDMOREANDMOREANDMOREAND*MORE* of the poor, forever, without a stop on the spigot.

What “ails” America is Jews. Not “right-wing” Jews or “left-wing” Jews. Not Republican Jews or Democrat Jews. Not “globalist” Jews or “nationalist” Jews. Not Zionist Jews or Communist Jews. Not religious Jews or atheist Jews. Not George Soros/MSNBC/NYTimes/big-media-monopolizing Jews nor Gad Saad/David Sacks Jews. Just Jews. Jews are the problem. Jews are what ail us.

And it’s been this way in literally every nation they’ve ever resided in – in every time and place in history. Their own bad behavior has served as the root cause of their expulsion from some 109 countries some 1030(+) times, but Jews (with zero sense irony or self-awareness) tell us that this is because everyone else is bigoted and hateful and jealous of their superior intellect, morality and status as G-d’s Chosen.

(Unfortunately, the gentiles buy this argument with apparently little thought or reflection. Why? Because the Jews control the media and therefore their minds? Yes … but also because questioning the Jews’ self-serving narratives will destroy your career. Thus many choose to stay quiet – or just not ponder such thoughtcrimes: I.e., their crimestop instinct kicks in. “Who are you going to believe, Goy? What we Jews tell you about your wicked ancestors or what your wicked ancestors tell you about us Jews?”)

There’s a phenomenon – a classic blunder – where some people (such as, apparently, Elon Musk) mistakenly believe that there are “good Jews” and “bad Jews” and that by allying oneself with the “good Jews” (the Zionist/”right-wing” Jews to whom Elon ingratiates himself) one can defeat the bad Jews (like Soros) and thereby save the West. History and experience, however, show that this doesn’t work.[1]

You cannot “wield” Jews. Jews wield you. Jews are like the One Ring in Tolkien’s The Lord of The Rings. It’s tempting to think that you can “ally” with them and use them for your own purposes, but you really can’t – not, at least, for long and certainly not against themselves. (The One Ring itself is an apt metaphor for the corrupting influence of power and bribery.[2])

In the books, the One Ring is ultimately one with Sauron. You cannot wield it against him. And so too are “right-wing” Jews one in spirit and will with “left-wing” Jews (Soros/Sauron). They’re all one Jewish collective – though they will often pretend otherwise: “We’re not some hivemind goy! As we Jews like to say: Two Jews, three opinions on how best to fleece the Goyim! – Wait. Hehe. I meant, just, ‘three opinions.’ Not that ‘fleece the Goyim’ part. Hehe. Oops.”

Allying with Jews to further authentic right-wing, nativist nationalist ends has been tried and it’s always failed. Churchill tried it. Rupert Murdoch tried it. Trump’s tried it. It doesn’t work. Trying to separate Jewish factions and and play one against the other (the “right” against the “left” or the “left” against the “right”) doesn’t work. It’s a classic trap, akin to … invading Russia.

Give the “right-wing Zionist” Jews everything in the world that they want – more money for Israel, the West Bank, more endless wars (against Germany or Iraq or Assad or Gaddafi), total support at the UN., total fealty at their wailing wall, etc. – it will never be enough. And they will never reciprocate

Jews always endeavor to control both sides. This is why explicitly anti-Jewish movements are the only kind that have shown any success against them and their agendas. It’s why movements which don’t see Jews as Jews, but as supposedly belonging to the separate camps or categories which they invent or infiltrate and pretend to belong to (and to which their allegiances are secondary or tactical anyways) always fail. Jews are Jews regardless of what they call themselves or dress up as. Every movement which buys into their wolf-in-sheepskin lies ends up inevitably being subverted by and destroyed by them.

Of course, being explicitly anti-Jewish isn’t sufficient and it doesn’t guarantee success. After all, Hitler didn’t ultimately prevail despite his initial successes due to the Jews arraying a coalition of useful idiots (the “Allies) against him – but it’s the only approach that has ever worked (109 expulsions).

If you try to wield “right-wing” Jews against “left-wing” Jews, or, conversely, “left-wing” Jews against “right-wing” Jews, you will find that you get very little utility out of your Jewish “allies” whereas they get tremendous utility out of you.

They spy on you – as does the One Ring. They influence you – as does the One Ring. They promise you powers and riches which they will never ultimately grant – as does the One Ring. And, in the end, whatever power or riches you may acquire you still end up a slave to them – a ringwraith – as did the kings of Middle Earth.

What did Britain’s – or Churchill’s – alliance with Jews in WWII (see: The Focus) do for Britain? Sure, they defeated Germany – in a largely unnecessary war which the British establishment (under Jewish influence) themselves provoked – and then what? What happened post-War? What happened to the British Empire? What’s happened to their country since? Did the Jews show their gratitude by helping ensure that Britain retained strong borders and the demographic integrity of its isles (as the Jews jealously guard Israel’s demographic integrity)? Or have the Jews worked, at every turn, to undermine the ethnic integrity and demographic continuity of Britain? Or, have the Jews worked to undermine the sense of ethnic pride of the British people? Much of Britain is unrecognizable today. London is minority white British. By virtually every conceivable metric Britain would be vastly better off if the Germans had won, even if (as the fever dream hysterics claim) “we’d all be speaking German today.” So? At least Britain would still be white and British. What would Churchill think if he could see Britain today? What would the men who stormed Normandy beach think? Unfortenaly, Churchill, in the end, let himself become a ringwraith for ZOG.

(To illustrate Churchill’s thinking, he, in 1920, wrote an article called Zionism versus Bolshevism,[3] where he argued that there were two groups of Jews. The “good” Zionist Jews and the “bad” Bolshevik Jews. Churchill then goes on to argue that “good” Zionist Jews should enter into an alliance with the British against the “bad” Bolsheviks. Well … how’d that all work out in retrospect? The Zionists got basically everything they ever wanted (and so did the Bolsheviks for a time) and where are the British today?)

What did Roosevelt’s alliance with the Jews (through his heavily Jewish cabinet) do for his nation – America? What does it look like today? Demographically, it shares the fate of Britain and it looks like, increasingly, its empire is going the same way, and in large part due to interminable Middle East wars which serve just one interest: Israel. In Roosevelt, again, we find a ringwraith: a man who sold out his soul (and his nation) for power … or perhaps a Denethor-like character who was under the control of Wormtongue Morgenthau and Harry Dexter White.

What of Rupert Murdoch and his business empire? Steve Sailer has related a story wherein an acquaintance of his mentioned Murdoch saying privately that in order to do business in America (paraphrasing) “one needn’t befriend all the Jews, but one must befriend at least one of two factions of Jews.” Meaning, essentially, one must either submit to the Zionist “right-wing” faction or the anti-white/anti-American “left-wing” faction (which controls most of the balance of traditional that Murdoch doesn’t). Clearly, Rupert chose to ally with the “right-wing” Zionist faction. And what has that done for the American right? In what way has the “right” in the U.S. actually been served by Fox? All it does is lose on every domestic social issue year after year. It’s in constant retreat.

Thanks to Fox News, all of the healthy, natural, nativist, ethnocentric and patriotic energy of an authentic right-wing which might actually serve core white Christian America is being parasitically channeled away from protecting its own borders and demographic majority to protecting Israel’s borders and … not just their demographic majority … but their project of erecting a supremacist expansionist land-hungry apartheid state.

White Christian America has gotten nothing from Fox News – or any “right-wing” media, be it Breitbart or The Daily Wire, etc. (all of which are just Zionist fronts), but Israel, on the other hand, has gotten everything it could ever dream of.

Murdoch has become another ringwraith. A king reduced to a ghostly Zionist pawn.

What of Donald Trump? Did he actually close the border and build the wall in his first term as he promised in every campaign rally he’d do for eighteen months straight? No. Did he deport illegals in appreciable numbers? No. Actually, he carried out very little in his populist agenda to serve the interests of the core demographic which voted for him. Instead he basically carried out Jared Kushner’s agenda which served primarily to benefit Israel – oh, and he pardoned a bunch of Jewish fraudsters and black felons.

Trump was, and probably still is, just another ringwraith pawn of the Jews.

Now what about Elon? Is he another ringwraith? Destined to become one? Judging by virtually everything he’s written (and retweeted) on X since he had his little oopsie last year and told the truth about the malign influence of Jews on whites, and then had to be lead around Auschwitz like a dog and go kiss Bibi’s ring, Elon now shows all the signs of someone who’s turning into yet another ringwraith. Elon also presumably believes (falsely) that by “allying” (or bowing) to one group of Jews (“right-wing” Zionist Jews) he can fight against and defeat the other group of Jews who are destroying the West. He’s wrong. At least that’s what all precedent says. You can’t wield “right-wing” Jews any more than you can wield the One Ring. It wields you, and it will turn you into its slave just as it has done to so many others. The only solution is to destroy the Ring – to destroy Jewish power. That’s how you save the West.

I still hold out hope that Elon will change his mind on this or that he, in some sense, secretly already knows or understands what I’ve written here and what a problem Jews are and that, perhaps, he’s just playing the long-game – perhaps hoping to “out-Jew the Jew” or something, but even that being the case, there are only so many time one can put the Ring on before it fundamentally compromises and corrupts you and you end up just another slave to ZOG.

[1] One also sees this with the “anti-Zionist Jews” like Finkelstein and Blumenthal. Their true function – whether conscious or unconscious – is to subordinate and lead the “anti-Zionist” movement thereby neutering it. See, for example, how in Finkelstein’s case, he attacks Zionism’s most effective critics, like John Mearsheimer, as an anti-Semitic conspiracy theorist who propounds Protocols-like conspiracy theories of Jewish subversion of the American political system through the “Israel Lobby.”

(There’s various names for when Jews employ false dialectics where they seem, superficially, to oppose each other, but they’re actually furtively on the same side: E.g., The Kosher Sandwich, or the Esau Gambit, etc.)

…lobbyists ensure that Congress and the White House deliver continued easy access to…assault weapons.

And isn’t it the truth? Why, just the other day I went to the local gun store to buy an M16, but the guy at the counter said that because of the continued easy access, all his automatic assault rifles were sold out. But he offered to put me on an ‘easy access’ waiting list, and then showed me a ‘one shot at a time’ varmint rifle, that looked pretty scary.

Trump’s purported answer is a trade war with China …

Trump announced he is to charge Mexico, and Canada a 25% tariff on all products and will charge China ‘an additional 10% Tariff, above any additional Tariffs…

…is the latest headline. Tariffs can be an effective trade tool if used rationally. However Trump’s ostensible reasoning is that these countries are responsible for both illegal drug use and invaders immigrants coming into the country.

Memo to Orange Man: Mexico and China are not responsible for securing US borders. That is the job of the US. To blame Mexico, Canada and China for America’s internal problems, and hence the need for tariffs, is absurd.

Most drug and border problems could be eliminated quickly, sans tariffs: 1) build the wall (like Trump campaigned on, last go-around) and deploy armed border police, with instructions to shoot invaders; 2) mandatory jail sentences (with hard labor) for any employer that hires invaders; 3) along with a draconian crackdown (death penalty) for drug traffickers; 4) mandatory Chinese Democracy style ‘reeducation’ for users.

But those solutions would put the onus for solving problems back on the US, and it’s easier to blame others. After all, blaming others for one’s problems is the womanly thing to do. And with our feminized sensibility, such measures would be too harsh, and obviously ‘discriminatory’ against minorities. We can’t have that now, can we?

“What Ails America – and How to Fix It”

    Reality fact (1):

The government ( Trump , Biden or whomever), can/will fix _NOTHING!_.

Government is the problem,_NEVER_ the solution!

Government solutions to problems (_ANY_ problem), never work. Never have, never will. Government “solutions” always cause even more, even bigger problems. (See book “Why Government Doesn’t Work” , by Harry Browne).

Reality fact (2): “Because they are all ultimately funded via both direct and indirect theft [taxes], and counterfeiting [central bank monopolies], all governments are essentially, at their very cores, 100% corrupt  criminal scams which cannot be “reformed”or “improved”,simply because of their innate criminal nature.”   onebornfree

Given these 2 reality facts, the only non-idiotic thing to do is  to either :

    1) ( my ideal- world, utopian preference):

Eliminate all the federal and state and local governments  etc entirely and replace them with : _nothing_.

    2) Given the impracticality/ impossibility of (1), ( because most people are preconditioned, mind controlled slaves who do not want to be free)……..:

at the very least eliminate all of the 1000’s of entirely unconstitutional federal agencies ( eg CIA, FBI, DoD, Social security, Medicare , Medicaid, FDA, FEMA, EPA, the Pentagon, etc. etc. ad infinitum), close all foreign bases, repeal the Federal Reserve Act and repeal all legal tender laws, thus returning the federal government to it’s original constitutional limits , functions and size ( ie 95% smaller than at present).

N.B. However, that 95% smaller federal government  would _still_ be a 100% criminal entity, merely because of its funding methodology ( ie direct + indirect theft) and it’s (then) constitutionally authorized “solutions” to any problem would still never work. 😏

Trump isn’t stupid, but he is lacking what George HW Bush (senior) called “the vision thing” when Bush lost reelection. Innovation is a bullshit buzz word. Fantasy – the economic system can stay the same but because of “innovation” everything will fine. Reality – China graduates 600,000 engineers per year, the US 125.000. Of the American engineering graduates, it is estimated only about one fourth end up doing actual engineering work. We can see where this is headed. China is about to do to Boeing, what the Japanese did to the US auto industry. In China, BYD now makes the lowest cost electric cars in the world. This is because their factories are fully automated. Our economic system as constructed will lead to lower incomes for most Americans. Should we enjoy this ride on the Titanic? The system is broken.

You’re right about the necessity of government.

Government is absolutely necessary to bring the world to the brink of nuclear war. Without government that would be impossible.

Government is necessary to siphon off the labor of the world’s people to create weapons system after weapons system to then purposely create the conditions that cause these systems to annihilate each other to be able to show the necessity for the next weapons system, while laying waste to infrastructure that took decades to build and to kill the very people that voted for their own demise.

Government is necessary to support a phony money system called ‘national currency’ that every government uses to cheat their own people at a predetermined rate of, in the case of the US, 2% per year and the gov’t knows their people are so stupid that they can openly brag about it.

Government is necessary to employ shit for brains people like the author of this peace, an economist, that only has a function because gov’t exists. Economists are the whores for gov’ts and bankers to come up with the theories to sanctify the blatant fraud of a fiat currency system. In an honest money system no one needs the bullshit economists spout.

Government is necessary to run the education system to guarantee that the bulk of the population remains generally stupid, just smart enough to be their human farm animals to run the factory machines and vote like trained seals for the next iteration of government.

Government is necessary to maintain government in a never ending cycle of conflict, death and destruction on a scale individuals would never be capable of or even think of initiating.

However, you don’t go far enough. Keep supporting the low in intellect in a 1st world society and you keep creating more ‘poor’ because they are too stupid or lazy to compete and raise themselves up. By supporting them with welfare and numerous programs designed to allow them to be fruitful and multiply, you create the conditions for an expanding stupid society that will eventually overwhelm that society’s capacity to provide and innovate which is where the US is now.

The ‘poor’ are the mentally inferior or lazy. Neither should be coddled by endless ‘free stuff’. They should be made to work the menial jobs that are the current dirtbag magnet drawing in the invaders that want to work. The US has enough native low end to fill every possible job but ‘free stuff’ allows them to not only survive but thrive while producing less than they consume.

Gov’t schools, I won’t call it education because it isn’t, Hollywood and sports promotion should be enough to convince anyone that wants to see that the gov’t wants an endless supply of ‘poor’ to shovel into their military death machine and to take the more vicious and make them the civilian police.

The article is a pretty good analysis of what ails the deranged soul of America, but the proposed therapy (other than the excellent one of putting the boot into the Israel lobby) is largely the standard technological salvation fantasy.

No amount of AI or automation in themselves will benefit the majority. They will simply further enrich the oligarchs. Technical development could be a boon to almost everyone if the gains from increased efficiency were spread among all classes. Henry Ford supplied a rare example when he used some of the profit generated by the assembly line to pay his workers a living wage. No similar example comes to mind.

Without a top-to-bottom change of values — a “we’re all in this together” spirit — no technical innovation can fix a crooked system. Chances are serious reform will have to be won by those currently economically oppressed, because it won’t be voluntarily given by their masters.

One thing I cannot stand is people calling people dumb, or lazy just because of their low status in life or that they get gov help. My mother when I was a kid had to get gov assistance. Especially since she still worked, but it wasn’t enough, she still had to get help from the gov. AIPAC is a lobby for anti-Christ Judaism as a nation state.

At best it is a racist state of exclusion based on some highly various claim to Jewish ancestry.

But they are not ‘Israel’ as Paul has made clear in Galatians 6 that born again Christians are the Israel of God.

Ancient ‘Israel’ was destroyed in 70AD due to its rejection of Jesus Christ (see the Parable of the Wicked Husbandmen Luke 20) and did not exist again as an anti-Christ nation/state for 1,878 years until 1948.

This restoration of the Jews (anti-Christ Judaism) to Palestine is largely a British heretical and political construction (Pappe).

It was done without any regard for the people Arabs/Palestinians already living there.

Thus we have anti-Christ Zionist lobbying to keep the United States endlessly involved in supporting mass murder and genocide with gigantic expenditures to keep the lies, propaganda and murderous insanity ongoing.

It is even worse with the lies and heresies of ‘Christian Zionism’ afflicting the American people.

The U.S. government is consumed with bribes and corruption by the AIPAC criminality and then the likes of Jeffrey Epstein beyond it in extortion shittyworld.

The only solution is to destroy the Ring…

    From a good Wikipedia article:

The Ring’s primary power was control of the other Rings of Power and domination of the wills of their users. The Ring also conferred power to dominate the wills of other beings whether they were wearing Rings or not—but only in proportion to the user’s native capacity. In the same way, it amplified any inherent power its owner possessed.

Sam rescued Frodo from Orcs at the Tower of Cirith Ungol. The hobbits, followed by Gollum, reached Mount Doom, where Frodo was overcome by the Ring’s power and claimed it for himself. At that moment, Gollum bit off his finger, taking back the Ring, but, gloating, he and the Ring fell into the fires of Mount Doom. The Ring and Sauron’s power were destroyed.

Trump was allowed to win because he’s the one that Israel wants for their expansionist campaign. We’ve gone through many years of the media demonizing him to the point that we have people with actual Trump derangement syndrome- they can’t make a comment on any article on the internet without bringing up Trump. There were so many times that the media teased the American populace with Trump’s possible and probable demise. The amount of times that people on the left were led to believe that Trump was hanging by the thread and on the ropes, just one step away from being thrown into jail until he is nothing more than a corpse. They were played over and over again like Charlie Brown and the football. And every time they were salivating, thinking that this figurehead that they were encouraged to hate was just about to get his just comeuppance and then some.

But Time after time, it never happened. The results never materialized, no matter how bad it looked for Mr. Trump.

The way he basically threw the 2020 election was incredibly suspicious- it seems like he was just going through the motions and not even making much effort, A complete contrast to his campaign in 2016. It was almost like someone promised him that he would once again be in the office if he just kept his mouth shut and allowed the other side to win.

Even if he wasn’t about to be thrown in jail for life, he would obviously be disbarred from ever holding office again, or so the media told everybody with the litany of charges that he was accused of.

But yet again, it never materialized.

The way that Biden was thrown aside by his own party and how Harris was shoehorned in without a primary or any debate was also suspicious.

Harris, who had stayed out of the limelight for most of the presidency, was all the sudden pushed on everyone, and people on the left we’re supposed to get passionate about her in a few months up to the election.

To me it just felt like the fakest election that we’ve ever had… It’s like the entire system, not just Trump, was going through the motions.

And does anyone find it strange how Biden was able to get more votes than Obama in 2008 when he ran in 2020? Something like 10 million votes that all of a sudden disappeared when Harris was running 4 years later. There was mysteriously no ballot stuffing, antifa, or black lives matter.

The biggest clue though, was how the media treated Trump’s victory- it was like a complete 180 to the way that they had treated him in the past, and all the sudden they weren’t encouraging everyone to hate him and pull their hair out, even when many programmed liberals took this path and wondered why they were complaining alone without any media support.

The whole election felt so slapped together last minute, so contrived, and so low effort that it didn’t even feel real.

Israel needed Trump for their foreign policy, and all this talk about sacred democracy and the voice of the people had no part in his selection.

And how did his so-called attempted assassin get a gun into his rally? That was never explained to us.

The majority of the audience on this site, at least those who post, seem to be intellectual, well read, and thoughtful. That’s why it’s hard for me to understand why you keep offering up these authors who claim that Trump is some kind of anti-establishment figure who somehow luckily gained the system, just somehow outsmarted the apparatus that controls most of the western world.

    It’s actually getting really insulting.

We’re supposed to get Kabuki theater, and all we get is some half rate, half-Ased attempt to get us in line and believing that Trump is actually going to change anything.

You might be interested in two books:
    1) Bruce Bueno de Mesquita, ‎Alastair Smith; The Dictator’s Handbook: Why Bad Behavior is Almost Always Good Politics; 2011.
    2) Martin Gurri; The Revolt of the Public and the Crisis of Authority in the New Millennium; 2018

de Mesquita has managed to find a structure of human politics that is demonstrably used (he actually has convincing data) over a very wide range of human organizations (all governments and apparently all corporations).

Gurri is an ex-CIA analyst who has managed to find a pattern in recent history that includes the 2024 election of Trump as US President. Put very briefly, contemporary government in industrialized countries has claimed almost superhuman powers to avoid the “human condition” of suffering, starting with the attempt to create the “New Soviet Man” and continued through the New Deal and the EU. Contemporary government has utterly failed in industrialized countries. Not only that, but the WWW, to include unz.com, has informed everybody about the failures. Government realizes that it is bluffing with a busted fist, that its experts have been badly wrong every time and will continue to be so, but cannot conceive of any alternative to its continued power, and regards its base population as incapable of ruling. The base population is therefore overthrowing its governments in a string of cases starting with the Arab Spring of 2010, continuing through Spain, 2011 ( https://english.elpais.com/society/2022-05-02/15-m-how-spains-outraged-movement-spawned-political-change.html ), and including the Trump election of 2016 and 2024.

My addition: To make matters worse, government is genociding its base population, forcing total fertility rate (TFR) down to far below below replacement TFR ( https://www.statista.com/statistics/226292/us-fertility-rates-by-race-and-ethnicity/ ). Mean TFR, US, all ethnic groups, is ~1.6, replacement TFR is in the {2.1; 2.2} range. That government forced drift towards extinction why populations are in revolt.

The drift towards extinction does not even seem to be government policy. It seems to be an utter failure to understand complex systems coupled with claims of governmental omnipotence that result in genocidal policies.

To take one example, a controversial one, abortion is held to be morally a “woman’s right”, and functionally a social necessity. Yet two out of every three abortions are coerced, against the woman’s will. The result of “open abortion” has been to empower men to walk away from women they have gotten pregnant, and thereby reduce pair formation (marriage) and reduce TFR.

As you point out, voting for a living is yet another failed policy that reduces TFR. Turns out that you can’t make people well off by simply giving them money.

I agree with Gurri that resolving government delusions of grandeur will take decades of strife, my estimate: 3 decades minimum, perhaps as long as the transition from Christendom AD 1500 to the modern Enlightenment AD ~1648. And I agree with de Mesquita that he has found a basic form for human politics. So what comes out of all this has to fit de Mesquita’s basic form, but shed governmental delusions of omnipotent grandeur. Not an easy mix.

And here’s a satire of another institution that thought it was forever:

    Thank you for the information.

The declining birth rate is highlighted as a huge issue by those looking at the details and warning that demography is destiny. Nicholas Eberstadt has done some fine work in that area. I understand where he/they are coming from, but it’s only a problem for the gov’t control freaks and their Ponzi schemes. Fewer human farm animals working for gov’t is a problem for the gov’t overlords, but no problem at all from the average person’s perspective if there were a free market.

It’s because of gov’t theft (Social Security, taxes, fines, fees, misapplication of funds, wars, etc) that rob the working class of their rightful income over their entire lives that is the average person’s problem in old age. It’s because there is no free market that people are trapped in various gov’t systems for their income and that income dwindles when there aren’t enough new dupes to pay for the upkeep of the older generation. The problem isn’t a declining population but the theft schemes gov’t has instituted and people are trapped in.

In a free market with a reducing population, housing would cost less due to over supply, for example, instead of the case now. People are purposely not having children because they see that they can’t afford to live the life they want for themselves, never mind adding the tab for child care for decades, due to gov’t theft. People are reacting to negative incentives and gov’ts are trying to kill off those taking from the system (genocide) in any way they can to extend the life of their Ponzi schemes and their power.

WW-III is a fine way of killing off lots of people and pointing at the ‘unfortunate’ war as the reason for future austerity that the brilliant minds of gov’t officials will do their best to oversee. The oligarchy will spin death and destruction to maintain their perks and the voting morons will go along.

Yeah, myself, as an “economic realist,” it is disappointing that Sachs doesn’t mention Big Tech or the Administrative State. Of course the interest groups he mentions exist, but the article reads like it was written in 2004. He is still trying to revive a basically dead ideology.

Military spending is ~1.4 Trillion, and some poli sci people I have talked to say you can defend the US with about 800 billion, even less. I not saying you must keep military spending the same, I am saying People like Sachs over estimate military spending by a factor or 2-3.

TOTAL gov spending for fiscal year 2025 is about 12.8 TRILLION.

As a good macro econ guy, I do not distinguish between “discretionary, nondiscretionary, federal, or local spending,” and plot the “entire pie.”

  58. Biden’s reckless recent decision to allow U.S. missile strikes deep inside Russia, long advocated by the military-industrial complex, is case in point.

This decision was not reckless but tactically appropriate and long overdue. It is basically independent of the US military-industrial complex or the Israel lobby and therefore should not be attributed to either. Note that Trump has expressed no public disagreement with that decision to allow Ukraine to defend itself from longer range missiles striking its civilian infrastructure and population that were launched from Russia.

The following article, which appeared a few hours after the Dutch head of NATO met with Trump in Florida, explains why we should not anticipate Trump expressing his disapproval toward Biden’s initiative; it’s all about obtaining negotiation leverage:

    Atlantic Council
    Inflection Points

Biden’s Ukraine moves are a gift to Trump

    https://www.atlanticcouncil.org/content-series/inflection-points/bidens-ukraine-moves-are-a-gift-to-trump/

Trump has also not objected to discussions that would allow Ukraine to possess nuclear weapons, which it gave up in exchange for the 1994 Budapest Memorandum, which Russia clearly violated. It has been Putin who has repeatedly made reckless decisions; it would be naïve to not expect measured responses by NATO to Putin’s aggressive provocations.

The author clearly has great difficulty blaming Putin and Russia’s military-industrial complex for the ongoing war, which has lasted for over a thousand days and could be ended by Putin at any time by ceasing military hostilities and withdrawing from Ukrainian territory. Proof of this delusion is the following contrived assertion two paragraphs after the prior quote:

“The military-industrial complex (MIC) dragged Ukraine into a hopeless war with Russia by promising Ukraine membership in NATO in the face of Russia’s fervent opposition, and by conspiring to overthrow Ukraine’s government in February 2014 because it sought neutrality rather than NATO membership.”

The ongoing war was actually intended to be a quick three-day military coup of Kiev’s national government, accompanied by a subsequent occupation of the entire country of Ukraine, plus adjacent Moldavia, in case the so-called special military operation went smoothly. It was Putin’s personal refusal to acknowledge that his primary objective had failed that dragged both Russia and Ukraine into this “hopeless war“, so it is not unlikely that he will ultimately be usurped as a consequence.

In February 2014 Ukraine’s government met to formally remove their corrupt leader, Yanukovych, who had already fled the country after he realized that he could not win the early elections that he had just agreed to a few hours earlier, because he had lost the support of his former party allies. Also, contrary to the author’s claims, the change in leadership came as a result of protests that had spontaneously erupted three months earlier, eleven years ago, due to Yanukovych having reversed his earlier position (upon having been bribed and coerced by Putin) to sign an agreement with the European Union that entailed stronger economic ties. NATO membership was not even an issue because Ukraine was not entitled to join anyway.

What is in evidence in this article is the the deceptive practice of embedding blatantly false and misleading Russian propaganda narratives – which cannot really even be characterized as opinions because they make no sense – within an essay encompassing a broad scope of topics and making some valid points about those other themes. Readers who fall for the appeal-to-authority fallacy being triggered might thus tend to believe the lies as well, especially if they have been poorly informed and tend to agree with non-objectionable aspects in the overall presentation.

    Hear, hear!

No one likes to be audited (as I have been; I was fined) but legions of American businesses, especially small businesses, have persuaded themselves that the IRS is nasty and, therefore, that business has a moral right to cheat on taxes. In business, even a little cheating confers a big competitive advantage on the cheater—unless the IRS catches and fines the cheater, thereby leveling the playing field.

Tax audits by the IRS are about as popular as final examinations are in college. A tax audit feels rather like a root canal. Keeping honest, accurate business books is no more congenial than keeping a weight-loss diet is. Such activities are as unenjoyable as they are necessary.

They are literally voting themselves into an ever increasing servitude by supporting the deep state candidate of both parties. They have been propagandized to almost have no mind of their own.

Indeed it may be said with some confidence that the average man never really thinks from end to end of his life. There are moments when his cogitations are relatively more respectable than usual, but even at their climaxes they never reach anything properly describable as the level of serious thought. The mental activity of such people is only a mouthing of cliches. What they mistake for thought is simply a repetition of what they have heard. My guess is that well over eighty per cent of the human race goes through life without having a single original thought. That is to say, they never think anything that has not been thought before and by thousands.

The average person has an us against them attitude with corporations, not realizing that gov’t controls absolutely every corporation and uses corporations as a hidden tax collector. They scream – ‘make corporations pay their fair share’ not realizing that corporations never pay a penny in taxes they haven’t first collected from the rubes too stupid to understand the system.

Our highways are unbearable. We’ve transferred shipping from rail to semi trucks which hog the roadways while pulverizing the pavement and underlying roadbed. One of the first things America could do is build a parallel interstate road system which would serve only commercial traffic. This would put people to work while simultaneously alleviating congestion and frustration.

I am both an idealist and a realist. I see the world as it is and as it could be and know enough about how things are built and operate to offer practical solutions. Most of what we hear today comes from people who have no education in the way things work so their proposals are too abstract.

Much of life is actually about solving tangible problems with tangible solutions. The nitty gritty, the not-sexy job of moving stuff from one place to another, forming it into usable shapes and installing it in an orderly fashion. It’s not about tech wizardry, though obviously, electron-info systems aid us in design.

Robots have to be built and installed precisely. As of today, robots don’t self replicate. Humans design them and install them. They are extensions of our powers. I don’t know in what world AI can single-handedly design society’s systems because AI is not equipped with human longings, needs and frustrations. Perhaps a simulacrum of these can be programmed in but alas, its heart isn’t in it because it doesn’t have a heart. Nor do machines have the yearning for wholeness that characterizes consciousness. Machines have no sense of gallantry or honor or sacrifice. So, sorry, count me out of your grandiose plans for a Brave New World—another Utopia conjured up in the minds of planners which when imposed will torture its population in unbearable Procrustean-bed style adjustments to their natural way of doing the world.

Ironically, Democrat ideology puts them at war with their natural selves. This had its roots in Marxist’s communism, which denies that “biology is destiny”. For Marx and his followers, we are consciously and bodily the products of our technico-cultural environment—the means of wresting a living we have devised. There is no place for the understanding that humans may not be in control of their own destiny, that Life has a purpose for us of which we may not entirely be aware. Rather than accept their prescriptions, I believe I’d like to leave things a bit more open-ended and live with some ambiguity, cluelessness and curiosity—the preconditions of progress.

We did not choose to be here and we do not choose to die. Our Fate precedes us. We follow its path and evolve as we do so. How do we know what lies beyond the next bend? How do we know that Fate or Destiny or God does not have a purpose for us which is utterly different than the ones which occupy our daily affairs and take up all our mental energy in solving? This is what Spinoza—today’s Jews are always going on about their god-man-Einstein-of-his-day Spinoza but he was merely restating what Greeks had said long before him—was fundamentally saying. We do not know the ultimate purpose for which Destiny molds us.

This means we should have a bit of humility and maybe not murder those who disagree with us. Murder is final, but plans change. Understanding grows—hopefully—and along with it, tolerance. Meanwhile, let’s work to solve real tangible problems with real tangible solutions and have Faith that we evolve in accordance with our long-term Destiny in a reasonably harmonious way. I believe our forebears called it The Way.

  74. Dear Professor Sachs,

It is perhaps relevant to understand that in order to achieve what you dream, it is necessary to understand that the United States needs to join that economic system, which is America’s heritage, the American System of Economics, by joining those countries, the BRICS, which chose, with the New Silk Road and Belt and Road Initiatives, to follow the option laid out by Lyndon LaRouche.

Of course it was LaRouche who was the first world figure to forecast the collapse of the Soviet Union and it was LaRouche who understood that the United States and Europe were the party that was equally collapsing into what Rosa Luxumborg had outlined recognizing capitalist collapse into imperialism and war relative to collapsing profits.

The issue of collapsing profits is due to the fact war ultimately is about gaining spoils, i.e. primitive accumulation, or of defending a system of spoils already in place.

The solution to the tendency of capitalist profit collapse, yes while found in innovation, was found through that economic analysis called roughly “Raw Material Economics” and which is not part of academia, which demonstrates the problem, but had a major impact on American policy, and as it was once common sense, that if you underpay raw material production, then you are losing “earned income” potential in the economy, that multiplies wealth through the economy, because such “earned income” paid on commodity production is invariably spent as a matter of course into the economy, such that that free economy, is free because it is not forced to borrow money in order to keep going.

One of the roles of the government is to ensure that everyone is working with a 100 cent dollar as Congress is sanctioned by the Constitution. In 1933 FDR initiated the Agricultural Adjustment Act (AAA) which codified Parity for Agriculture, which means that the dollar for agriculture should match, be in parity with, manufacturing and service. The parity coefficient was based off of government records that found that between 1910-14, just before the Fed and WWI, a period known as the golden age of agriculture, the farmers dollar was on par with the rest of the economy.

Now the problem with FDR’s approach was in how parity was to be achieved, unfortunately by destroying farm commodities and production capabilities, something shot down by the Supreme Court, where the answer came, due to the crisis of the WWII, was insuring a ground floor pricing at 90-110% of parity. Because strategically one can not win a war if farmers are going bankrupt.

Note that the ‘Raw Material Economists” was the Raw Material National Council, lead by a farmer Carl Wilken, who with some astute academics, business leaders, etc. found that for every dollar earned in Mining, that dollar could be measured to increase on a rate of 5x at the national level, and for Agricultural raw materials, the agricultural dollar multiplied by a factor of 7x. And where it is noted that Wilken was considered to be the person what had testified more than anyone to Congress in later 1930-40’s

Thus underpay raw material production and you are cheating the economy as a whole, and thus the reason that there was a post war boom and end of the Great Depression was because democratic capitalism was ensured to work.

Wilken’s 1947 book, Prosperity Unlimited demonstrates how to have a capitalist economy without depression…For anyone interested.

The only solution is to destroy the Ring – to destroy Jewish power. That’s how you save the West.

I agree, but the question is this: what is the source of jewish power? What is their “Ring”? If you listen to the jews themselves, they will tell you what it is:

God has granted us, his Chosen People, the gift of the dispersion, and in this which appears in all eyes to be our weakness, has come forth all our strength, which has now brought us to the threshold of sovereignty over all the world.
Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion (nr. 11)

Many empires have tried to destroy the jews: Egypt, Assyria, Babylonia, Greece, Rome. But all they did was disperse the jews, which had the exact opposite effect they wanted: with this dispersal, the jews only became stronger. This “dispersion”, the Diaspora, is the main source of jewish power. All those empires have disappeared, whereas the empire of the jews now extends its rule over all the “West” and much of the world (even out here in the periphery, Brazil).

The jews have ensconced themselves as parasites in all of our societies, hiding in the shadows behind their crypto names and nose jobs. And only very few of us can see these fifth-columnists working relentlessly to undermine each of our countries, but you can be sure they are there: you only need to scratch the surface of apparent power a bit and a bunch of jews will come out from underneath scurrying about like cockroaches.

If the jews had been a normal nation since ancient times, confined to a specific territory, they would have never achieved the power they have over so many countries as they do now: they would have to field a regular army and wage war like a regular nation-state as the rest of the world does. But that’s not how it played out: it is by deception that the jews do war, by insidiously infiltrating each and every enemy nation like a cancer. And every nation on earth is the jews’ enemy and they parasitically gnaw their hosts out from the inside, relentlessly seeking their destruction.

And that’s why the jews have been expelled from so many countries so many times all throughout history: when people realize that the jews are a parasite working to tear apart the very fabric of society, every sane country will just get rid of them. But the jews, unfazed, just go on their merry way and become parasites somewhere else. Unfortunately, the most powerful country in history has been driven insane after being infiltrated by the jew parasite: the United States has become the crown jewel within the universal empire of the jews, and the power base from which the jews expect to eventually dominate the whole world.

And does anyone find it strange how Biden was able to get more votes than Obama in 2008 when he ran in 2020? Something like 10 million votes that all of a sudden disappeared when Harris was running 4 years later. There was mysteriously no ballot stuffing, antifa, or black lives matter.

    Are you really this stupid?

The 2020 election was held during a global pandemic when everyone was sitting at home watching TV, and watching Trump shit the bed in real time in his response. Of course more people voted. And none of those Biden votes were actually for Biden. They were all against Trump.

In 2024, Biden was a cognitive catastrophe who completely demoralized the Dems, not only because he was a disastrous candidate, but because the status quo was/is a disaster for working Americans. Inflation, housing, illegal immigration, foreign wars, etc. And he was then replaced at the last minute by an installed DEI candidate, who incidentally was one of the worst presidential candidates in American history.

Basically, voter resentment caused by Trump’s handing of Covid was nonexistent this time. And almost all of Trump’s negatives were overwhelmed by the state of the economy for average Americans.

And let’s not forget the staged ‘assassination’ attempt, the raised fist, and all that nonsense.

The fact that Kamala even got close to winning just proves what an asshole Trump is. Any other candidate would have won in an actual landslide, as opposed to the 1.5% margin and sub-50% of the popular vote Drumpf received.

With core members Richard Perle, Paul Wolfowitz, James Woolsey, Elliot Abrams and Robert Zoellick? No, let’s not mention that, it looks too… “ethnic.”
It is the MIC that’s responsible for dragging Ukraine into a hopeless war with Russia by promising Ukraine membership in NATO, Sachs tells us, and by conspiring to overthrow Ukraine’s government in February 2014… Victoria Nuland must have been in the pay of the MIC and so must be Blinken.
There are other, smaller lobbies, he says, like Wall Street, Big Oil, the gun industry, big pharma, big Ag, and, last of all, the Israel Lobby. Don’t ever ever say “Jewish Lobby,” folks, say “Israel lobby” because it makes its interests more “regional” and external to US, and Israel is really just Netanyahu, remember that.

Boris Johnson’s sabotage of Ukraine-Russia peace talks in April 2022 is conveniently swept into the memory hole.

There are no reliable accounts of what occurred, just rumors and accusations. We do know that the ground rule, set in advance, were that “nothing” is formally agreed to unless everything has been agreed. We also know that there was a consensus on some key issues. However, the fact is that negotiations conducted under threats of military annihilation are not a good idea because any agreements reached under those conditions are not legally binding anyway.

Apparently Russia was not willing to withdraw its troops, so one could reasonably conclude that any further negotiations were not really sincere and therefore pointless. Blaming everything on Boris Johnson thus appears to be just another convenient propaganda narrative with little credibility. There is nothing of substance to sweep into the memory hole. A rational default position would be that the Russian side subverted the talks by making unreasonable demands and persisting with military pressure.

The most important thing that can be done to fix America , is to abolish the unconstitutional zionist privately owned communist Federal Reserve aka the communist central bank that is totally owned by the zionist banking kabal, which in 1913 took the money creation away from the US government and gave it do the zionist communist banking kabal along with their graduated income tax aka the IRS.

The zionist communist central bank , the FED and the graduated income tax the IRS are 2 of the 10 planks of the communist manifesto and when the zionist communists saddled America with these, then came the wars , starting with WWI and right down to the wars in the middle east for Israel and the war in the Ukraine, which were all zionist provocateured for the profit of the zionist banking kabal and are the causes of 10’s of millions of deaths and unpayable debt , which is owed to the zionist communist banking kabal.

Abolish the FED and the IRS would return the money creation back to the American government and out of the hands of the zionist banking kabal, as it was prior to 1913, this betrayal of our America by Wilson and congress, gave America over the the zionist communists and taking back this power of money creation would cut off the money life line to the communist zionists, and then any debt would be owed to ourselves and this would save America.

This would put people to work while simultaneously alleviating congestion and frustration”

Unfortunately this doesn’t go far enough upstream, or to put another way you’re addressing a symptom, and not the disease.

The increasingly massive need for over the road (OTR) cartage and 2 miles long freight trains is in large part do to the deliberate elimination of our localized manufacturing base. Obviously not every aspect of manufacturing can be localized as there are a multitude of materials (oil, coal, certain metals) than are not available locally, but clothing, tools, and most house/office goods could be made locally but instead we import them from the other side of the world.

I was also in the intermodal logistics business for 10 years. The US is actually railing more freight now than ever (there is often a shortage of rail cars and the rail infrastructure (train tracks) is in as poor or worse condition as the interstates), but the simple fact is OTR haulage is the fastest way to get a unit from point A to point B. As we continue to import the dregs of humanity, the demand for goods has become even more immediate.

What ails America is not “Jewish control” that brings on long list of ailments, but Imperialist capitalism under which individual capitalists are, by their entitlement to the ownership of all the resources and means of production, enabled to control for their private use by their titles to property the material resources required for producing the necessities of life whereby they can compel the vast propertyless masses to submit themselves to the control of the owners of the means of production to work for them to produce the goods and services the community needs to survive at prices commanded by the owners whereby they reap the benefits of the value workers create that exceeds the cost of the necessities the owners must provide them that they need to survive and keep producing, and who by controlling the means of communication enables them to generate a false consciousness among the working masses that blinds them to how they are being controlled by how the capitalist owners pull the strings of the supposedly invisible forces of the marketplace.

How effectively the public has been blinded by how they are controlled by the supposedly invisible strings of the marketplace that are supposedly beyond anyone’s control is revealed by how Powell, the chair of the Fed. Reserve has disdainfully dismissed Trumps threat to fire him as the head of the supposedly Federal Serve System (Bank).

How is it that the President is required to appoint the head of the Fed Reserve that by its name implies it is just another agency of the federal government the President as head of the federal control but whom he cannot replace.

As G. Edward Griffin put it at the beginning of his book, The Creature from Jekyll Island, :the answer [to what is the Federal Reserve] may surprise you. It is not federal and there are no reserves. Furthermore, the Federal Reserve Banks are not even banks. The key to this riddle is to be found, not at the beginning of the story, but in the middle. . . The subject matter is not a curriculum to be mastered but a mystery to be solved.” (In unnumbered page of Section 1).

It was set up that way by the Federal Serve Act that created it that merely made it appear that the organization created by Congress was in fact a federal agency under the control of the federal executive but that is actually a private orgnaization owned by its shareholders who are federally chartered banks. It is at the outset unconstitutional because nowhere within the power conferred on Congress to enact laws is there a section that authorizes it to charter any private organization.

That the import of government chartering private organizations and conferring on them powers beyond that exercise by individuals was well understood at the time is revealed by how Adam Smith viewed such chartered organizations as conspiracies against the public good that was impressed on the consciousness of the colonists by the operations of the Royally chartered East India Tea Company. Thus had the founders of the Constitution intended for Congress to be authorized to charter private corporations, they would have expressly conferred that power on Congress. Their failure to do so shouts a warning it is not so.

The obvious reason they said nothing about it directly in the Constitution is that confer such “royal” power on the Congress with all that it implied as reflected by the operations of the East India company would have sounded the death knell for the document. But hey, the real founder knew that slight of hand and implied powers would be the hidden trick that would make it all possible.

But hey, why bother with such legal niceties when their are flocks to be fleeced by creating a private banking carter and authorize it to print money where by the Congress handed its coinage powers to the banking cartel.

And all this has been well hidden from the public by all who knew or should have known and kept it from happening.

The biggest fraud and hoax that is perpetrated on the public is the massive public debt that is supposedly crushing the American people.

This debt, in fact, is mostly an illusion.

Let me describe how this debt is financed. The US Treasurer wakes up one morning and realizes he will have funding shortfall of say $1 billion [trillion insert your figure.] Oh, my god, he tells himself, how can pay the govt’s bills. Then realizes, “wait a minute, let me call up the Fed and ask if they can tide me over. Upon reaching the right number, he tells them his woes he need a billion (trillion) by next Friday.

No problem, he is told, send us a US Bond for a $Billion (trillion) in whatever denominations you like and the money will be in the Fed’s US Treasury account you can use for paying checks you issue up to that amount.

Oh great, what a relief, I almost thought we couldn’t ciover our bills.

No problem. Pleasure doing business with you. By the Way, the interest on the 30 year bonds you are sending us to cover the loan will be 6% year payable on such and such dates.

Thanks for your help. Of course, we’ll pay it. No problem.

And where, might you ask, did the Federal Reserve get the money that they “lent” the US govt at 6% a year interest to boot?

If you have to ask reveals you have fallen hook, line and sinker for the scam they have sold you about how the Fed finances the US debt.

It is mostly created as an accounting entry by key strokes of computers housed in the Fed Reserve bank next to the White House. Its location tells you all you need to know about who is pulling whose strings. They just made it up by computer key strokes that put an extra $1 billion [trillion whatever] in it in the federal govt’s account at the Federal Reserve..

    It’s that simple.

    It’s a swindle

If you believe or want to believe that swindle, be my guest.

The most important issue about which Sachs can be faulted in his description of what ails America is his failure to address the Fed Reserve swindle and how that impacts everything else and the lives of all Americans.

    The rest is window dressing.

I agree wholeheartedly. You’re correct in that I assumed that globalism is here to stay. I condemn it but my vote doesn’t count. At the very least, the vicious bastards who imposed this overcrowding upon us could take some realistic measures to ameliorate the worst consequences.

When I was a young man I drove a van on Northeastern interstates as part of my job. In some areas it was not uncommon to be just one of a handful of cars on the road. This just isn’t the case anymore. Trucks are ubiquitous and increasingly, one sees terrible driving. Used to be, with unionized drivers, it was rare to see a big truck running off the pavement or hogging the passing lane for minutes on end. Not so anymore. Half the drivers don’t know the rules of the road.

Driving now is torturous. Where have the beautiful parkways gone? Used to be mown regularly. Now, not so much. So create a parallel system for us, car drivers, and leave our battered interstates to the truckers. They messed them up, let them live with the broken, heaved pavement which was never designed to handle 80,000 lb. loads, much less the 100,000 lb. loads commerce is lobbying for.

Gurri cannot quite figure out why there should be a revolt of the public. The people revolting, at least in the West, are generally wealthy by world standards and are generally middle income (“middle class”) who have advanced degrees and come from families with a middle income. These same rebelling people want to tear down the system from which they come, the system that they are prepared more than most to be a part of.

What is worse, to Gurri and to the governments that are attacked, is that the rebelling public will not say what it wants except in the most general terms, such as “Social Justice” or “A revolution in ethics” or “Fight !” The rebellion is not towards some better form of social organization or some better form of government, it is instead a revolt against something vague.

Gurri points out that Pres. Obama, who exercised dictatorial power after his “pen and phone” speech, presented himself in all his speeches as a tireless fighter against the government and population that had (sort of) elected him, presenting himself as just as much a victim of the US government as any other US resident. Why did the public approve of this rhetorical device?

I propose that the US population is simply going extinct, and that the US population does not want to go extinct (morituri nolumus mori), but realizes that it is going extinct, and dimly realizes that government has something to do with the driving the extinction. Substitute “genocide” for “extinction” if you want.

The comment chain of my original post has concentrated on bad governmental policies. My point is that Trump’s election by an inchoate majority, despite a billion dollars spent by Harris, is due to the public’s realization that it is dying, and that this same realization answers Gurri’s “what do they want?” question. The US MAGA public wants themselves and their children to live, or, perhaps more accurately, they want the government to stop killing them and their children, and they don’t care what it costs to avoid this ultimate disaster. They don’t want more or less than that.

And, again, government can’t give MAGA what it wants. Contemporary government projects always fail. Government has no idea of how to stop killing its base population, and it is panicking. So far, the only coherent governmental response to the MAGA revolt is to say that the “deplorable” MAGA public, composed of “trash”, deserves to die and be replaced by morally superior murderers and rapists from elsewhere. You have to admit that this response does address the problem of silencing MAGA’s revolt, and is something that government has demonstrably done before, so it’s OK except for the sign error — the genocide was supposed to be slowed to zero, not accelerated to infinity. That is, the “deliberate genocide” program is typical of all governmental programs since the Ukraine Starvation, or for that matter Mao’s Great Leap Forward, or the US “War on Poverty” (see videos of tent cities in 2024).

The populations of the ‘west’ believe that their decades of exertion are being undermined as a matter of policy, and they are correct. Because they are relatively well off, they want to not lose what they’ve gained; they believe they’ve worked too hard to have it slip away. I don’t think they compare themselves with those not so fortunate elsewhere or even comparing their situation with their next door neighbor. I think this is a more personal realization and a large part is fear, a primal fear of having an external force severely impact their lives that they have little to no control over. In the extreme, becoming homeless and wrecking their family situation has to enter people’s thoughts as they see it’s happened to others and there doesn’t appear to be any remedy on the horizon. Things are getting worse. I think Trump is going to be a monumental disappointment to the entire west.

The recently well off in China are in the same boat IMO. They invested in over priced real estate and that bubble has popped. Their economy is in trouble and likely to get worse with orange jesus mucking about with his tariff threats that will hurt everyone. The worldwide covid psyop and the associated currency creation was the last straw that led to the current situation.

The ‘social justice’, trans, climate change and other nonsense was manufactured by the oligarchy to provide something new to argue about for people with nothing better to do, especially ones with basket weaving degrees or no higher education at all. These things are not a real concern for the majority of the population but the media amplifies these issues as though they’re important and there’s lots of money to be made for those properly positioned.

The US election was 100% theater from my perspective and the voting reflected the audience’s reaction to the presented story. Trump knew he was going to win way back when his legal troubles started. He was holding up too well after being attacked from all sides for it to be legit. I don’t doubt that the lawyers going after him were serious, but they were never going to succeed as the fix was in. Then the staged shooting(s) added a bit of drama and no one seemed to notice that Trump raised himself up above his security detail to present a better target twice and that offered the Iwo Jima style photo when any normal person would lay low when the survival instinct kicks in. Biden as cadaver in chief was replaced by a halfwit without any of the usual process. Her campaigning was a farce. Trump was elected by the deep state with Vance and Tulsi as his minders.

I think the underlying cause for all the current strife is the fiat money system everywhere. Too much debt that can’t be repaid honestly and gov’ts need an excuse to reset that system while still keeping them in control. I’ve likened the major governments to mafias because that’s what they’ve become. The US and NATO country mafias, for example, wanted and still want to steal Ukraine’s resources and an upstart Russian mafia decided that taking over the better parts of Ukraine is a twofer by stealing wealth and rustling tax cattle simultaneous with denying them to the west. It’s about the Benjamins and Rubles.

What the world is witnessing is the various mafias getting squeezed due to their own profligacy and they want to plunder their way out of their own situation using typical criminal means of theft and violence. The people, as usual, are just collateral damage since no gov’t gives a shit about even their own human farm animals, much less ‘the other’.

There’s evidence to suggest that the world’s mafias always telegraph their intentions well in advance but most people don’t pay attention. The Georgia Guide Stones stated that the owners of the world want to reduce the world’s population to 500,000,000 and now that evidence is destroyed. Technology is now at a point where much of the blue collar work is either no longer needed or is subject to mass automation. A manufactured pandemic response, manufactured war, manufactured food shortages, manufactured fuel shortages, etc are designed to kill off large numbers of people. Digital currency and feudalism 2.0 is the goal worldwide.

I spent about 50 minutes today reading this article then writing a long detailed post only to have a bizarre message appear claiming I needed to include an email. Once I touched the area my long post was completely deleted and it returned here. I do not have the time to rewrite everything but once again Mr. Sachs fails to mention that the Jews created the military-industrial complex by first “transforming” our tax system to massively tax the middle class. That same military-industrial complex could not account for $21 TRILLION (see my post in the other article featured today for details and references) and has apparently not only been overcharging us but also giving us inferior JUNK compared to what other nations are spending and what they get. https://www.forbes.com/sites/kotlikoff/2019/01/09/holding-u-s-treasuries-beware-uncle-sam-cant-account-for-21-trillion/

Wall Street. big Pharma (Perdue, Teva) Big Agriculture (Monsanto Jews: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monsanto_family) and the Israel lobby are all Jew controlled entities for the most part as well as I had originally detailed the evils they have done to Americans and the world with impunity.

Sachs also keeps claiming that neo-cons and Israel are two separate entities regarding the Middle East which is simply not true as the neo-cons making the plans were almost ALL Jews including the “Project for a New American Century” and the “Clean Break Stategy which gave us 9/11 and endless war in the Middle East for Israel. Even Israel’s own paper will tell you who the neo-cons are: https://www.haaretz.com/2003-04-03/ty-article/white-mans-burden/0000017f-e398-d804-ad7f-f3fa5d520000

In conclusion Jeff seems to pretend that Jews are just a small part of the problem when in FACT they have been the major source of ALL of problems. Exposing what JEWS have done is the MOST important and necessary step to RAPIDLY fixing America and justifying their immediate removal and the outright extermination of Israel for 9/11 and all Jews have done to us and the world.

  129. @RedPill Boomer

The polls are accurate. The reality the respondents are reacting to is not.

They are reacting to endless coverage of rare spree killings, when the stats continue to reflect that you or your family members are still most likely to be killed by your own gun. Gun control starts at home.

But through Jewish media’s reality inversion, the solution to gun violence necessitates banning guns for everyone else.

My sense of intuition these days is permanently skewed such that if the solution involves banning something for everyone, I assume Jewish lightning is involved.

For 30 years the internet was a chill place where people got along without the mandatory involvement of (((therapists and lawyers))). Now all of a sudden we are compelled to ban free speech because “feelings” have become a casualty. There is a common denominator here.

  130. Megoy says:

The Jews of Wall Street also stole an estimate $22 Trillion or $70k from EVERY US tax per with their big lie in the 2008 Jew created “financial crisis”: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-08-13/the-financial-crisis-cost-every-american-70-000-fed-study-says

So there you go. $21 TRILLION missing from the Pentagon. $22 Trillion from Jew Wall Street lies and schemes. $15+ Trillion by the Greenspan scam to steal social security “surplus”. Jews owe Americans a minimum of $48 TRILLION and we want it NOW….or else.

Problem is that we are human, and there’s nothing we can do about it because we are human. The solution therefore will come from the ultimate results of our own mistakes and/or from external factors and forces that could create conditions for a revolution or a total collapse and reset of “civilization”. Anyone who thinks they can prescribe and then execute-actualize a plan that will miraculously transform the system and replace it with a glorious utopia is deluded. It’s just that the delusions of some, like Jeffrey Sachs make more sense and are more thoroughly reasoned-supported by evidence than those of others.

  137. Anon[363] • Disclaimer says:

Many business donors, I would quickly add, are forthrightly on the side of peace and cooperation with China, as very sensible for business as well as for humanity…American workers have been battered by decades of anti-union policies, soaring tuition and healthcare costs, and other anti-worker measures. In high-income countries of northern Europe, “social consumption” (publicly funded healthcare, tuition, housing, and other publicly provided services) and high levels of unionization have sustained decent living standards for workers. Not so in the United States….Trump’s answers on the campaign trail and in his first term were to blame China and migrants for low working-class wages and wasteful spending for the deficits.

This is a perfect example of the major blind spot of these leftist (mostly globalist) sorts of writers. He acts as if it is possible to have high levels of open trade with Asian countries, while having unions and high wages for workers, while having our economy stay in tact. This is just not all going to work.

The reason the industry went to China (and other countries) is precisely because of the unions. American companies, to put it bluntly, cannot compete with the companies of other countries. We will never make products as efficiently. It is not just about quality. It is about price. The consumer would infinitely rather buy a good that is Chinese made if it is 5 or ten times cheaper.

Why are the non-American goods cheaper? Well, take a look at the incomes of factory workers in China, Thailand, Vietnam, India, Mexico. It’s literally 1/10 as much as a unionized American worker. In such an environment, American goods cannot compete.

So how, then, can we make money? And, further, how can we avoid bleeding out all of our wealth in our massive trade deficts? We can make money with financial games. We are very good at that. We can maybe make money with big tech (with a great deal of help from immigrants). But Big Tech is a bit of a risk, since China and any country can firewall it and develop their own tech. And, as we’ve seen with TikTok, auto manufacturing, etc., there is no guarantee that China’s incubated tech industry might just outstrip us at some point in the future.

You might ask, how then does it work in Northern Europe? Easy. N Europe is more protectionist, and less globalist, than America. I know it is shocking. We are used to the idea that leftism = globalism in the USA. But it just is not so much that way in Europe.

Notice, that the economic strategy of Sachs is heavily dependent on importing the “best and the brightest” from around the world so that the USA can keep an edge in “innovation.” He mentioned innovation in his article:

The fourth is an innovation policy (aka industrial policy) that serves the common good. Elon Musk and his Silicon Valley friends have succeeded in innovation beyond the wildest expectations. All kudos to Silicon Valley for bringing us the digital age. America’s innovation capacity is vast and robust and an envy of the world.

The dream of Sachs is for the USA to be an “immigrant nation.” No wonder, given his background. The immigration is key to the innovation. There is simply no way in heck that the USA can be more innovative than the Asian countries that are more dedicated to high-achievement if we do not import them.

The consequence of this importation is the following: we will have, and already have, a racial caste system, with heritage American people basically around the bottom of the status hierarchy. We will not have great wages for workers unless the Tech and Finance folks spread a lot of their wealth. Is our emerging Asian upper class is going to be willing to do that? IDK, but their politics in the OWN countries is opposed to high wages for workers. So, that might give a clue into their political leanings.

In any case, even if heritage Americans get better suburban homes, the fact remains that people need dignity to be happy, and that it is hard or impossible to have dignity when you are a racial underclass. The importation of a racial overclass is obviously not good for the heritage Americans, no matter what happens to wallets, TV screen sizes, home sizes, etc.

You have to wonder. Perhaps the purpose of importing a non-American overclass is precisely to humiliate the American people? It is always a good possibility, that people want to humiliate those that they HATE. Given that Sachs is a Jew of the left, he likely hates any white majority. Does he want to humiliate whites by putting them underneath Asians? We all have this mean-spiritedness in us. The only way to ensure that we are not acting on it, is to listen to others’ needs, and make sure that we meet them.

Does Sachs listen to the American people’s hatred of immigration? Does he care? Is he listening to the needs of others? Does he see the viewpoint of his political adversaries, who are not diaspora globalist elites like him? He blasts people for not being able to empathize with Russia, but from my perspective, he is not much better! If he could see the other side, he would see how frustrating and painful and undignifying it will be for white Americans to be trampled under these waves of immigration.

We have been hearing that story about how, if and when the dollar loses its world reserve status, something terrible will happen to America. First of all, how do know this is true? What’s the case and the argument?

Secondly. if this is true, why aren’t we doing something about it, meaning build some kind of an economic firewall against the consequences we will suffer if it does happen?

Seeing nothing being done, it makes me wonder if it is just a scare story to get us to support something politically that we would not support is knew the facts about it. I don’t see how even Israel is strengthened by a debilitated America population. Right now, we couldn’t raise a military bigger than twice what we have already. That’s not enough to fight a land war in Europe or Asia.

As income has shifted from labor to capital, the stock market (and super-wealth) has soared, with the overall stock market valuation rising from 55% of GDP in 1985 to 200% of GDP today!”

In his reasons for this there is not a mention of the fact that historically a primary determinant of the level of wages is the supply of labor! As though the huge Third World immigrant presence doesn’t, hasn’t, kept wages at very low levels for the last decades.

And as though the de-industrialisation of America (and the West) in China’s (India’s & et cetera’s) favor through the destruction of trade barriers at the behest of (((Wall Street))) hasn’t had the same impact on the dramatic decline in ‘Labor’s Share’.

No wonder he fails to penetrate into the reason for the existence of the main part of Trump’s base and in true elite style regards it as a fixable aberration within the present globalist settings.

The people, as usual, are just collateral damage since no gov’t gives a shit about even their own human farm animals, much less ‘the other’.

Part of the squeeze is a real shortage of raw material, world wide.

Another part, from Dictator’s Handbook, is that dictators tend to retain power longer than elected officials. Consider that Obama has had, effectively, 4 terms in office. Two were official, one was as “opposition” to Trump (2016-2020), the other was as a puppeteer to Biden. During that time he greatly diminished the influence and power of his enemies: the Jewish coalition and the Whites in general. He may have been almost as influential in US history as was FDR.

Still, I have to reiterate my basic point — the population of the US and even the EU and UK (or Canada, for that matter) are not in revolt over any particular policy (not even Obama’s policies), but rather because the population of the US is being genocided, with a mean TFR of ~1.65, down from a {2.1-2.4} range needed for even a stable population. Only the Pacific Islanders in US Territories are reproducing at over 2.1. The US population does not know how to reverse its own extinction, although it is objecting to its replacement, and is reduced to electing a reformer like Trump. Next step, should Trump fail, would be simple destruction of current governmental forms, something that Obama has already accomplished in US urban areas.

And the rest of the industrialized world is in as bad shape as the US, with similar TFR and resource scarcity. That is the PRC’s chief problem — they are not autarkic, and need oceanic trade, but have no blue water fleet to protect it. Trade is starting to decrease. The US no longer supports oceanic trade, and has no capacity to support trade: Suez canal is largely closed, and the US. US has no more expeditionary capability for either naval or ground forces, and control of the air has effectively been lost thanks in part to a botched F-22 system (Musk: F-22 failed on the requirements level) and an over-emphasis on manned combat craft. Swarm tactics have been the optimal way to run drone fleets, and this has been known as a research result for some 40 years, but only applied by desperate countries such as Iran, Russian Federation, and Ukraine.

So, we are looking at a transformation of government to an obvious “failing mafia” type. Russia finally takes Europe (as the Romans took Greece) and is captured by Europe (as were the Romans by the Greeks), the US splits, and we get the start of a new Dark Age in the rest of the world, possibly with a new civilization in one or two millennia. Not what I’d hoped for, but probably better than WW III.

And the industrial country populations realize that they are dying and are thus in revolt [1]. If you want a slogan for the rebellion, you might try “Stercus! stercus! stercus! Morituri summus!”
    **************************************************
1] The women realize this even more than the men. Wild animals are notoriously difficult to breed in captivity — female mammals wont have offspring unless they are reasonably sure that they can raise the offspring to maturity. The “mouse utopia” population failed because male mice were unable to defend their female mice, who were prevented from raising litters by gangs of bachelor mice who had defeated their guardian. Consequently even the young mice that survived were not taught “how to be mice”, and ended up as “the beautiful ones” that were not interested in females.

Government, trying to display omnipotence, has been dictating both family structure and family formation since the 1960s, with much the same result as in the mouse utopia: children who do not know “how to be human” when they grow up.
    See: https://www.apa.org/news/press/releases/2019/03/mental-health-adults

    Two points about the women:
    (1) Women tend to have severe depression after an abortion; it is not, for almost all women, the “liberation” they were promised. https://www.psychiatryadvisor.com/news/one-third-of-women-experience-post-abortion-depression/
    (2) A bit over 2 out of 3 abortions are coerced — the abortions benefit the coercing men rather than the coerced women. https://lozierinstitute.org/study-many-women-who-had-abortions-felt-pressured-by-others/

Women have their own wisdom, and they realize that that they have been tricked to their own destruction — the “abusive husband” scenario by an abusive government/uniparty. As with many abusive husbands, the woman have Stockholm syndrome. That used to be adaptive, back when women could not “marry the government”.

The easily accessible minerals have mostly been consumed and in the process there’s been a large amount of land and water degradation and pollution that will never get cleaned up manually. Most people are unaware of the largest oil spill in history in the Gulf of Mexico that started years ago and is ongoing to this day. No one intends to cap that well properly because the company that caused the spill has been fined and therefore gov’t is satisfied. The oil is heavy crude that water pressure prevents from surfacing to any significant degree so out of sight, out of mind as far as those always trusted ‘regulator’ are concerned.

The TFR is a choice made by individuals and as such I can’t call it part of a genocide at least not in the strictest sense. No contemporary gov’t I know of wants to reduce their birth rate with the possible exception of parts of Africa. China is desperate for people to make new tiny slave labor units, cannon fodder and police but their people aren’t cooperating even with incentives.

The west uses the tax code to incentivize procreation and most people see this as a benevolent gov’t act when in fact it is gov’t breeding their human farm animals one step removed. Gov’ts are desperate to keep the input side of their various Ponzi schemes supplied with new dupes via a sufficient birth rate but it’s not happening and is why they have to reduce the output side of those systems to slow the flow of funds by killing off recipients or in other ways curtailing what is owed.

A low TFR is no problem at all for the average person and could be a benefit to those currently unable to afford housing, get a job, etc, but to gov’t it is a distant death rattle should their Social Security, medical, pension and other bogus schemes unravel due to low TFR. The ‘continuity of government’ is the oligarchy’s highest priority and they are going to kill as many people as necessary to attempt to square their own book. War is just one way of killing their own while stealing those ever more valuable natural resources via new land acquisition. Anyone that thinks Putin started his war because of the Russian speakers in the Donbas is seeing things through the cloud of propaganda his whole life represents.

The push for gun control in the US is there for what the oligarchy sees as a future liability should gun owners decide to use them once their monthly gov’t checks no longer purchase even the most basic necessities of life. Gov’t killing their own people in large numbers will be reported as unfortunate pandemic consequences, blaming the other side for their war dead, criminalizing more people as a result of new laws written for the purpose so as to make more of the population untermenschen that don’t count, etc.

The Falklands skirmish should have signaled the fact that all surface warships are obsolete thanks to the evidence presented by Exocet. The scum in the various navy’s knew they were an anachronism going forward, but all the funds allocated for new floating coffins and morons to man them was too much to give up. The current situation with the US’s aircraft carriers moving to stay out of range of Yemini goat herders missiles apparently has no impact on the thinking processes of the average US voter and as such won’t prevent more money allocated for new surface ships to replace the ones about to be sunk.

The US population does not know how to reverse its own extinction, although it is objecting to its replacement

Patriotism, nationalism, love of country, etc are undiagnosed mental disorders. No intelligent person should give a shit about ‘their country’ because their country is the oligarchy that sees them as the human farm animals they actually are. That most people are stupid and thoroughly propagandized to revere gov’t created bullshit is to be expected given a nation of 99 IQ bible thumping halfwits in the case of the US.

No person should be concerned with the TFR except to the extent that it will terminate their gov’t checks from the various Ponzi schemes. Anyone that wants to work toward increasing TFR is in actuality rooting for the breeding of a new slave to support him in his retirement because that’s what Social Security actually is. Gov’t stole all the SS money workers put into the system long ago and all payouts are the result of the theft of young workers labor. The hint that social security is a scam is to recognize that Otto Von Bismarck invented the scheme.

The ‘west’ has a trivial supply of conventional weapons due to shoving their stockpiles into the Ukraine fiasco. I expect Putin to take out some British military property to make his point that the west is SOL unless they use nukes. If I were Putin I’d take out the British navy’s ships while they are floating in British harbors to provide a visual the Brits can’t deny. Although just another scumbag, Putin should aim at removing all US bases in Europe and the ME and dematerializing NATO. The US will object and that disagreement will usher in a nuclear war.

I saw this coming 20 years ago and is at least part of the reason I’m outside anyone’s target list.

That variations in climate can do much harm is obvious and there’s nothing anyone can do about maximally natural processes that are clear for anyone to see in the climate record. That record shows swings in climate long before mankind’s appearance on the planet and clearly shows temperature rise hundreds of years before CO2 starts significantly increasing.

The increase in CO2 concentration in the atmosphere is a result of heating, not the cause of it. The oceans are a CO2 sink and heating causes CO2 to out gas from the oceans as temperature rises. Water is a phenomenal heat reservoir and it takes centuries for the world’s oceans to start liberating significant amounts of dissolved gasses of which CO2 is but one.

You have been taken in by climate frauds, since there are no climate scientists. There are climate data gatherers, climate computer modelers, climate neophytes, climate priests, but no climate scientists worth the designation. If you make a claim like that then you ought to back it up, which should be easy if it were actually true. Please produce credible links to statements by two participants (one for each side) in which they both assert that all issues had been agreed to, as opposed to most points of contention.

  157. First of all, I am “FOR” capitalism – that is, capitalism with the necessary and needed safeguards (regulations) that are needed to protect Joe Blow from the excesses of the banksters, the financial “industry” and the corporations. Like “Truth Vigilante,” “RoatanBill” (and probably “Durruti), I am FOR eliminating about 80% of the federal government and all of the UNCONSTITUTIONAL agencies that have been formed. I am also in favor of repealing every unconstitutional law that has ever been passed, as well as EVERY unconstitutional presidential “executive order” and “signing statement” that was ever “enacted” by any president of either political party, since these “orders” and statements are completely unconstitutional. According to the U.S. Constitution, the president has NO POWER to effect laws; only Congress has that authority.

Congress has the authority, indeed, the obligation, to nullify ANY law that is unconstitutional and also has the authority to over-ride ANY U.S. Supreme Court decision that it deems unconstitutional. This includes the unconstitutional formation of the “Federal Reserve System” and the unconstitutional collection of PERSONAL income taxes. But no one in Congress is about to exert that authority, as they are ALL at the “trough,” getting richer themselves.

I have done a fair amount of studying concerning the history of the United States, its founding, and also the REAL HISTORY that is behind the wars. After World War II, the United States was the pre-eminent manufacturer and the world’s largest CREDITOR nation. Now, in the 21st century, the United States is the world’s largest DEBTOR nation.

After World War II, when the unions actually had some power to improve things, not just for union members, but for ALL American workers, our standard of living was rising. In the past 3 or 4 decades, our standard of living has stagnated or has actually falling. But after World War II, when the EFFECTIVE TAX RATE of corporations was at its highest, that was the time period when peoples’ standards of living were rising and there was money available with which to support our country’s infrastructure.

Please don’t tell me about how corporations “do not actually pay taxes; taxes are passed on to their customers.” I am well aware of that. What we now have in this country, with the reduced EFFECTIVE taxation of the corporations, are record numbers of millionaires and billionaires. Meanwhile, our infrastructure is crumbling right before our own eyes. Along with the record numbers of millionaires and billionaires, we have record numbers of homeless persons and record numbers of both personal and corporate bankruptcies.

Also, please don’t tell me about the “corruption in the unions.” I have done extensive studying of unions and I am very much aware of that. But if it weren’t for the fact that businesses have had a long, sordid history of exploiting its workers, unions never would have been formed in the first place. Being a former member of the United Autoworkers Union and a retired U.A.W. Journeyman Electrician, I am very saddened by the fact that unions have become so corrupt. But they are no more corrupt than that of the U.S. government and ALL of its elected officeholders.

Being 73 years old now, I doubt very much if things here in the USA will ever get any better. I believe that our only hope is to get back to constitutional government, the abolition of every unconstitutional government agency and the nullification of every unconstitutional law that has been passed, including the presidential “executive orders” and “signing statements.”

I have read G. Edward Griffin’s book, “The Creature From Jekyll Island” and I saw nowhere in his book where he proposed a solution for the unconstitutional “Federal” Reserve System. He stated that if the power was removed from the “Fed” and given to the government, that nothing would change. I believe that if the Fed was abolished and that if an HONEST government were to assume the role that the Fed now has, things would be much better.

The entire U.S. economy is based on FRAUD – the creation of fiat money, created out of thin air, with absolutely nothing to give it any value and the loaning & paying back of money, WITH INTEREST – that is, on money which never existed in the first place. The American public is being SWINDLED by the banksters and they HAVE been made into debt slaves.

I do not think for one minute that Mr. Trump will effect ANY meaningful change to our country or will attempt to make things better for the average American. If he tries to do this, (they) will simply KILL HIM.

    Thank you.

    1) I, also, am outside of anyone’s target list, and executed that at about the same time you did, because we both anticipated the broad outlines of the present situation and what it is likely to devolve into.
    2) I agree with all of your facts and observations, even to the assertion that contemporary Western governments are much like the Mafia, except without the emphasis on excluding women and children from men’s fights. Putin got that one right.

Putin described the attacks on Trump as beyond gangsters since they “don’t target women and children but leave them alone.”

He continued: “It’s men that fight with each other. But these people did target [the family]. It’s just vile, another clear sign of the moral decline of the current U.S. political system.”

    https://www.newsmax.com/politics/putin-trump/2024/11/28/id/1189720/

    3) However —

Gurri has pointed out a failure of government that I think you might not see, and is worth seeing.

Trump has been elected by over half the popular vote. I don’t see how this could be a political trick — I think that Trump was actually not a part of the pre-election dominant governmental coalition, the “uniparty”. The government that I’ve seen is just not that smart or that well controlled.

    4) What is happening?

    a) Gurri points out that government programs are modeled after Taylorism.

To solve a problem, the manager first roughly defines it, divides it into more or less isolated sub-problems, and continues this (perhaps with the help of staff) until the sub-problems all have a solution. This thinking gave rise to the transfer line and the assembly line, which are the what made mass production cheap. Taylorism was applied to almost every industry, and even today remains the basis of production.

Taylorism was also applied to government; government was supposed to be like industry, except the transfer line solution was to be replaced by experts guiding bureaucrats, and the items produced were spending plans and government agents with missions.

Taylorism did win WW II for the US, largely because the Progressive Era had constructed very many factories equipped with capital goods (machine tools) and experienced personnel, so that the US was able to swamp enemies with capital equipment. This advantage carried over into the Cold War and its “strategy of technology”.

    b) However, Taylorism utterly failed when applied to social programs, and did so worldwide. Gurri cites the Ukraine starvation and the mass purge of Russians (“We will have fewer, but better, Russians”) that nearly genocided the Russian base population.

I cite the New Deal and the Federal Reserve, which between them actually extended the US Great Depression, and the subsequent Great Society, which severely depleted the descendants of the WW II generation, destroyed the industrial plant and the social groups that had built and operated it, and, eventually, gave the US the Obama coalition (and yet another instance of the Jewish Golem myth).

    c) Taylorism in government failed because the “decompose problems to a manageable size, then implement solutions” method fails utterly for a very wide class of problems. I claim that the rationality of the Enlightenment is not applicable to remaining governmental problems.

Consider the problem of the future. It now appears that much of the future cannot be predicted, which implies that much of the future cannot be controlled. Consider this:

We get closer as soon as we start thinking in computational terms. Because then it’s natural for us to think of successive states of the world as being computed one from the last by the progressive application of some computational rule. And this suggests that we can identify the progress of time with the “progressive doing of computation by the universe”.

But does this just mean that we are replacing a “time coordinate” with a “computational step count”? No. Because of the phenomenon of computational irreducibility. With the traditional mathematical idea of a time coordinate one typically imagines that this coordinate can be “set to any value”, and that then one can immediately calculate the state of the system at that time. But computational irreducibility implies that it’s not that easy. Because it says that there’s often essentially no better way to find what a system will do than by explicitly tracing through each step in its evolution.

    https://writings.stephenwolfram.com/2024/10/on-the-nature-of-time/
Wolfram’s approach implies how a future best described by probability distributions, but with the distributions unknown until after data is observed can be generated by a deterministic process.

And here’s another example, this one very practical:

    https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=california+burning++self+organizing+criticality

Note the paradoxical nature of the NPS “solution” to large forest fires: small forest fires. That is totally indigestible in Taylor’s methodology.

    d) The importance of TFR (Total Fertility Rate) https://www.statista.com/statistics/226292/us-fertility-rates-by-race-and-ethnicity/ is a measure of happiness of the human population. TFR is best predicted by the number of babies that women say they want to give birth to, as measured by polls. A TFR of below ~2.1 means that women estimate that they can’t bear a generation that conserves at a mean of 3/4 of their genes. This generally means unhappy women, and unhappy men as well.

That is, TFR is a proxy for the “revolt of the public” that Gurri describes.

    e) If you assume that governments do not want structureless revolts of the public such as Tunisia, Egypt. and Turkey during the “Arab Spring”, the recent rural English riots, the anti-immigration sentiment in the EU and Ireland, etc., which do not demand government spending or patronage jobs, then the existence of these revolts is necessarily outside of government control. If the government could control these revolts then the revolts would not happen.

    f) The public in several different countries is unhappy about being driven to extinction, wants government to “do something” (MAGA? AFD? Putin? ) to end the drive, but any attempt by a government using Taylor’s methodology will only make the drive stronger [1].

    g) CONCLUSION:
The public revolts (by a revolting public, as H. Clinton says?) are against government programs (which will be Taylorist and thus drive the resident public closer to extinction), but government response to revolts is to add government programs.

This explains why MAGA emphasizes and end to many government programs, and a reversal of recent immigration and birthright citizenship. However, it does not say that MAGA will succeed. Uniparty spokesbeings (?) are already pointing out that establishing an anti-illegal immigration force is a government program, and the same is true for DOGE. It may be that the industrial population of the world is trapped into a no-win Taylorism death spiral.

This is very similar to your estimate that:

What the world is witnessing is the various mafias getting squeezed due to their own profligacy and they want to plunder their way out of their own situation using typical criminal means of theft and violence. The people, as usual, are just collateral damage since no gov’t gives a shit about even their own human farm animals, much less ‘the other’.

and is also consistent with de Mesquita’s description of politics. de Mesquita’s description of politics applies to dictatorships, liberal democracies, corporations, and, of course, the Mafia, and the old Tongs. It even applies to small businesses, such as yours, or social standing in a rural community, which is my ongoing problem to solve.

  159. @Brad Anbro

Oh, so you are for eliminating all those impediments that limit the ability of capitalists to turn propertyless workers into peasants and serfs condemned to toil for the benefit of the owners of property.

Since you are in such a moof fdr eliminating all those barriers to capitalists subjugating workers by their ownership of property, I am for eliminating all titles to property and providing everyone free access to all the material resources they require to produce the necessities of like it is for all other species on earth.

Indeed, that is the key provision of the Constitution that does not, in any way secure titles to property from being annulled without compensation. You see, the Constitution only protects property, but to be property requires that a title to it be issued to a person claiming it for themselves. So there is no property without a title for it having been issued.
And who is the issuer of those titles? God, perhaps? .

    B y no means.

You see, your dear the Constitution only protects property from being seized without compensation, but it does nothing to protect titles from being annulled.

The reason for that is simple. There is ample precedent for the king to seize property to annulling titles to it. King Henry VIII did it to the church, and then parceled the seized lands to his nobles rather than simply keeping it for himself knowing full well had he done so he would have instantly lost his crown and his head to the jilted nobility who would have carved him up for stealing the land from the church.

So let’s by all means declare ourselves to stand for freedom. But the only real freedom to be had in the world is unencumbered access by all to the resources required to produce the necessities of life that can be realized only by eliminating all artificial restraints titles create that enable title holders to bar access to the resources others need for producing those necessities for themselves that truly gives no person artificial advantages over others that titles create advantage that enable its holders to keep others from using the material recourses without limitation.

Otherwise, titles are nothing but artificial barriers holder impose to bar the property owners from accessing the resources they need to produce the necessities of lfe.

So by insisting on the rights of property owners to have their titles to property, you are not really an advocate of freedom for all, but only the freedom if the title holders to subjugate and submit to the enslavement of the property less to the title holders those without property where the only way they can acquire the necessities of life is submitting to being enslaved by the property owners.

So let’s be clear. You are not an advocate of freedom, but for the freedom of property holders to enslave the property less and their being forever obligated to submit to their overlords by accepting the fiction that those titles are divine rights that mere mortals must accept without question.

I have another idea. Let the expropriators be expropriated by stripping them of their titles to resources and the means of production as King Henry VIII did to the church. That would simply be updating the confiscation Henry practices when the source of all real wealth was the land needed for producing food and all other useful objects produced by labor from natural resources of the land.

If that was okay for him, why not update it for ourselves today and really produce freedom for all, rather than for only the few expropriators.

Once upon a time, there were two groups of people: the good guys and the badguys. The badguys (pox upon them) were unbelievably bad, and the goodguys were real people, who cared for everybody except the badguys. The badguys had taken everything, and the people (an inert mass, neither goodguys nor badguys) were in great distress. Then the goodguys, like me, took everything the badguys had in a final expropriation, and kept it, doling out what the goodguys saw that the people needed.

And the people were happy, and there were no more badguys. The people became even happier when their population was reduced from 8 to 0.5 billion during the next several decades.

But even if your contention were true, it doesn’t disprove my original refutation: JFK was not “the last president actually elected by the people.”

Well for one thing, it was noted at the time how batches of voters kept coming in from the two places, with downstate votes giving Nixon the lead and then Chicago votes returned it to JFK that kept going on for a while. It was even noted in contemporaneous accounts how the two sides were trying to hold votes back to see what they needed to win, with Daily holding out to bring in the last batch.

At least, that’s a the story I remember.

So I just checked the story – and that was the claim about the election, but was never proved by either side.

And strangely enough, the goodguys would all be kept alive in the 0.5 billion, and keep total control of everything in the same manner so that the badguys will never, ever, ever come back. We have the goodguys’ word on that.

A bit harsh, maybe, and not unlike ants or termites, but better than letting the badguys continue to expropriate everything. We have the goodguys’ word on that, too.

And the system continues for a bit over a billion years, until Earth becomes uninhabitable, and everybody dies. ( https://www.livescience.com/planet-earth/how-long-will-earth-exist ). The goodguys take over, then almost everybody dies (8E9->.5E9), 15/16ths of humanity vanishes, slowly or quickly, and eventually the remaining 1/16th dies, and it’s good because the goodguys say so.

The main reason for WWII in Europe may have been the fact that Adolph Hitler opted out of the international system of finance and instituted a German currency which pulled Germany out of the Great Depression without the usurious creation of money solely as debt, the mechanism which ironically caused the Great Depression in the first place with an over-creation of debt-based money that fueled a Roaring Twenties spending spree! And earlier, American intervention in WWI was due to pressure by elite Jews on the Wilson Administration in exchange for a mandate of a Jewish State in Palestine by Great Britain (the Balfour Agreement). You are 100% correct and right !! Governments are evil, all governments of the whole world since the state was invented, have been really organized-legalized mafia cartels with the main objective of stealing the wealth of all countries.

But most people are mind-controlled slaves like you said, people are very loyal to the way that they have been educated, and the way that most humans have been educated is to be statists, to support states, burocracies, upper classes authorities governments

But the real solution for this world (most people are not aware of this) is really a world anarchist revolution. I was a social-democrat, then i evolved into a trotskist (who are still statists) and then lately i have been evolving into an anarchist.

Because like you said in your post, governments, states are the real problems of this world, the US government itself is a terrorist mafia-cartel organization of 25 million employees, that’s crazy. We must abolish the whole US government in order to see a free USA without a government. And the solution for Palestine and Israel is really a no-state solution.
