I tested several blocks from different modules: new information is immediately displayed in the blocks, suggesting that no cache is present. Module cache does work (when chosen in the general preferences). Please your analysis ! Category: Core - Core Group: XOOPS 2.3.x Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Neurophyre (neurophyre) >Assigned to: D.J. (phppp) Summary: Adding smiley with colon+forward slash breaks all smileys Initial Comment: When I add a smiley (smile) icon with a forward slash in the code, all smilies are broken across the entire site. The problem is resolved as soon as the smiley is deleted. I've only tested this with a smiley code of :/ and on XOOPS 2.2 with the 280705 hotfix applied. It appears that the forward slash is causing the URL of the :/ smiley icon to be inserted into the URLs of every smiley, thereby breaking them and rendering the images unviewable and leaving chunks of HTML splattered about where the smilies are supposed to be. I'm going to paste a code snippet with things working right, and then with a :/ smiley in the database. Please note that the nonstandard names of my smiley icons (not following the smilxxxx.gif pattern) are because I inserted them into the database by hand en masse because I didn't feel like uploading 30-40 smileys one by one, but as far as I can tell this has nothing to do with causing this bug. The bug appeared when I'd inserted the smiley as above, and once again after I deleted it and uploaded it using the smiley management interface in XOOPS administration. Correct: ouah ouah ouah With the :/ smiley, uploaded through the interface and saved as smil42f22465869e1.gif: ouah ouah ouah <img src="http/salamanca.evernex.com/uploads/blink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http/salamanca.evernex.com/uploads/drunk.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http/salamanca.evernex.com/uploads/guilt.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http/salamanca.evernex.com/uploads/dance.gif" alt="" /> ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: anderssk (anderssk) Date: 2009-04-03 17:20 Message: This is still a problem i 2.3.3 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: D.J. So you get <img src="http/whatever_smiley_url.gif"> instead. Because of this, only a smiley with :/ as the smiley code will cause this bug. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=430840&aid=1251945&group_id=41586 |

Category: Core - Core Group: XOOPS 2.3.x >Status: Closed >Resolution: Fixed Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Herve Thouzard (hthouzard) >Assigned to: trabis (trabis) Summary: system_homepage.html Initial Comment: By default this new template (system_homepage.html) contains this code :

Change the content of this template to fit your needs.

It displays nothing (visible) on the homepage but when you have a hompeage without any content (just blocks), and if your content is styled, you can see an empty space (for example a square). And if in your theme you have something like this (to avoid to display an empty block when content is null): <{if xoops_trim($xoops_contents) != ''}> Then the test become useless because there is something in the content (something useless). This template should be really empty by default. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: trabis (trabis) Date: 2009-06-12 11:57 Message: Done, thanks! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=430840&aid=2730373&group_id=41586 |
