Christmas Card Club. Challenge11: Christmas Carols

Good Morning Everyone.  Hope you are all enjoying this beautiful weather.
Today it is my turn to host the Christmas Card Club Challenge 11 and I would like to see a card with Christmas Carol theme.  I chose this one because my earliest memories were singing carols in Sunday School at a very early age.  Hope you all enjoyed making your card and like me it may hold some lovely memories too.
My own card was based on years ago and I tried to give it a vintage feel, by using quite frugal embellishments, most were made by my own fair hand. I really like using air-dried clay for a lot of my craft projects and NOEL was created from it using the beautiful fonts by Katy Sue. The little pine cones and berries were made using bits from my stash. Cinnamon Stick was part of a wreath from many moons ago.  Looking forward to seeing all the cards my teamies have created. If any of you lovely crafters would like to join us every two weeks, just let myself or any member of the CCC know and we will put you in the right direction.  Take Care everyone and enjoy your cardmaking.   Hugs Rita xxxx

Vintage Birthday card & gifts

Hello Again.  Just to let you know the reason for most of my absence from blogging is that I was asked by Fiskars to join their wonderful team as a permanent member. So I have been busy behind the scenes if you like. To say I was thrilled to be asked just won't cut it,  I was doing a happy dance for days.
It was Annies birthday on Thursday and here are the gifts and a card that I made for her day.

This was her card and as most of you know she loves all things vintage..  Hope you like them as much as Annie did receiving them.  We spent the day with Annie and Ronnie and had lunch and drinks in the garden, so all in all twas a Lovely Day.   Hope you are all well and making the most of the sunshine.   Hugs Rita xxx

CCC Challenge 10: Snowy Trees

Hello Everyone.   Well once again a fortnight has gone by since our last challenge and this time round our lovely member Christine has chosen Snowy trees for her challenge.   Very hard to get your head round whilst the sun was shining and lovely blue skies too, however, here is my offering for Challenge 10.   I have had these SB dies for so long and cant remember if they are called Deckle edge Ovals or not.   However I cut the card doubled and added a red frame on top of the image and glittered it with Diamond Snow, then added Glitter Snow texture paste around the card. I took the picture before it had dried properly and the snow has dried much harder and more realistic now,  but I was too impatient to wait.  So I hope I have the theme to suit Snowy trees.   Hope you are all enjoying this long awaited sunshine too.  Was in the garden most of the week, pulling weeds and sorting out the pots etc.  Hugs Rita xxx

Christmas Card Club. Challenge 9. Poinsettias or Angels

Hello Everyone, Sorry I am a wee bitty later with my card, but here I am and managed to finish it.  Vellum poinsettia coloured with Festive Berries and Aged Mahogany. Beautiful satin ribbon and a sentiment to finish it off.  Waiting on visitors arriving, but I promise to be back soon.   Enjoy your Day.  Hugs Rita xxxx
