I'm still alive! I have work tomorrow and I've wanted to go to sleep for about two hours now. But then my phone showed a notification. I couldn't believe my eyes: it was a notification from SingleH saying that they had accepted my friend request! I couldn't sleep, so I rushed to the computer and tried to remember my password.

As for why my profile is inactive... Simply put, I'm not convinced that I can currently write something I'd be happy with. Surely, after a year and a half of reading and writing on Letterboxd, my skills must have improved. And yet, my MAL account has always been special to me; it's a place where I can be authentic. With a job that I've had for over a year and a university course that I'm trying hard to finish with honours, I have no free time to dissect my mentality and project it onto anime. I had time for that in 2023, when the only remedy for me came in the form of depraved escapism, but I don't have time for that nowadays.

Also, I'm a bit sceptical about whether anyone is even interested in reading my stuff here. I still haven't written any reviews!

lol, that's exactly the kind of laugh-inducing fetish scene I would expect from Jellyfish. It hasn't been that long (wrote some prelims and at least 1-2 big seasonals last year), but I haven't reviewed much lately. I juggle so many series or periodically lose interest in what I'm watching to the point that it's hard to get around to reviewing any of them. Will probably do so for Frieren S2.

Haha, likewise. Something like Bocchi is pretty tolerable, but this one was nauseating. :'(

It is just an amazing followup to the original anime, it has amazing character moments, the animation goes absolutely crazy and the OST is chilling. One of the most unique and mindblowing anime movies out there!

I don’t know, this website is so popular, yet has such blatant design flaws, mainly how episodic animes are treated the same as movies, and light novels the same as mangas, there’s also how weird the rating system of reviews is and the impossibility of commenting a review directly under it
