I'd like to believe in progress as a steadily growing phenomenon, but it seems a lot still depends on geopolitics. I mean, we're at the beginning of the 21st century, but people have become more polarized between right and left than ever before. At least within reasonable limits, because I think even a fatalist wouldn’t want another leaden 70s.

Well,would be poetic considreing I came back to it last year to see the last one alongside Binan having one last go as well it seems regarding the parody on that franchise or rather the way episodes go even if the last third of the Binan 2025 is basically the Ikemen guy being builded up as the big baddie over the time as he disturbs bonds not only for the main 5 good guys but also the main 3 bad guys..So Egao in backlog then alongside Muri Muri?

Great..I do wonder how episodic structure of Golgo 13 prepares you for something like Patlabor where the serious stuff is like twice in the TV series regarding arc structure an then obviously few other times when it's for dramatic purposes I guess...Though Cowboy Bebop/Samurai Champloo already had that in it as well as the next gen sort of series but being only 2-cours each.

Actually not really..it has that pseudo-battle shounen feel you you get from these early 00s titles..but mostly it's the S2 that ends up anime original that goes that route as that's when the end point is more straight forward than the rather episodic like structure S1 has..or if I recall well since that one was definitely better than what Twin Star Exorcist as promo did overall in 4-cours as well xD

Sadly for BONES when I look at the projects they're thrown into It's hard to make proper judgement for what they would do sequels for because all the 3 titles that lacked sequels aren'ŧ serialized in mainstream line of work at all by todays standarts..and 1st they need to run out of promising JUMP+ products to promo from this decade lol.If SBR is going to be better than 90% of the seasonals for the spring lineup then we're doomed at this point but easier for you to know what to pickup from that lineup xD I'm sure winter lineup even with non-sequels it's easy to do even if some below 7 rated stuff doesn't look good shoveled in there..

Well,if the drama stuff makes you tone down the score for the manga to 7 or even 6 in the end is going to be interesting to see..I still think Golden Kamuy was overall the best YOUNG JUMP that got serialized in 10s ..even if Tokyo Ghoul,100-nin no Kanojo or Shadows House are hella strong as well to me.Kaguya-sama obvously as well and special mention to Innocent as well even if the sequel got serialized in cousin mag Grand Jump where his next work is also still being serialized till now :-)

It's not that it was terrible but just like Ghost Game and its episodes some hits more and some just less since Boruto anime had a lot of anime only stuff because manga had its own tempo as monthly manga and still is until now.Didn't watch it but the fact that it aired during the plagued of fillers in-between canon stuff in the last saga before the Sasuke vs Naruto conlusion arc didn't help either to make me pick it up lol.

Ahh ye..how the stuff was done here early on was mostly for the ''plot'' so it makes sense so far why they did it even if it was off-screened.Still half of these Isekais are more of something you would watch on weekend morning slots with the mentality levels they have or start off with early on..xD

Well,At least Reborn! is on for you now..not sure how you divide that 4 years run that the anime had..like do the 1st saga before the Future one which starts at like ep 74 or split that ''checkpoint'' before that into 2 parts as Varia arc starts at ep 34 but it's your call in the end I guess xD Also the landscape of gaming is pretty much online gaming if we take triple A First-Preson Shooters into account :S Unless you're into Indie scene and their shooters which are more aften awesome or not and some more quirky ones are also interesting to play..

I'm doing great! Since the last time we talked, I got to meet my young niece for the first time IRL, as well as some friends I hadn't seen in a while for one of my good IRL friend's birthday. I also got the help of an employment councilor and with their help, managed to redo my CPR license since I was quite overdo for it, as well as participate in some workshops and do some networking. Strangely, by a twist of fate though, I got through my own power (applying and doing the interview directly) got a new job last month, so I'm pretty excited to start that, once training and the paperwork are done!XD

How about you? Hopefully you're doing fine and got to watch lots of great shows and read great books in the last year, lol!XD
