NHK ni Youkoso!

Twenty-two-year-old college dropout Tatsuhiro Satou has been a hikikomori for almost four years now. In his isolation, he has come to believe in many obscure conspiracy theories, but there is one in particular which he holds unshakable faith in: the theory that the evil conspirator behind his shut-in NEET (Not in Employment, Education or Training) status is the Nihon Hikikomori Kyokai (NHK)—an evil and secret organization dedicated to fostering the spread of hikikomori culture.

NHK ni Youkoso! is a psychological dramedy that follows Tatsuhiro as he strives to escape from the NHK's wicked machinations and the disease of self-wrought isolation, while struggling to even just leave his apartment and find a job. His unexpected encounter with the mysterious Misaki Nakahara might signal a reversal of fortune for Tatsuhiro, but with this meeting comes the inevitable cost of having to face his greatest fear—society.

Welcome to the N.H.K. can be a hard watch if you struggle with 2nd hand embarrassment, i put the show on hold half way through just because i couldn't handle it anymore, but after some cooling of i finally finished all episodes and damn am i happy i did.

Welcome to the N.H.K. blends more lighter and fun, comedic moments with darker and more serious topics about mental health really well and makes it so the show has a really good balance and feels natural. Given the 24 episode format the show also has a really nice flow that allows for a lot of character building ... which suits this anime well. All the characters have a lot of emotion and is realistic in how those emotions are portrayed, maybe a little overdramatic but it fits well in the emotional scenes and makes you drawn into the action. In a way you can say you really feel what they are feeling. The story is really well made and interesting.

But Welcome to the N.H.K. does have a lot of 2nd hand embarrassment, especially in the first half and it can be a bit much but it also helps you feel connected with the characters in a way.

Great anime that i HIGHLY recommend, if you are someone who have gone through some stuff involving mental health and feeling alone you will get this anime, and i am sure you will like it.

Mixed Feelings

This show is really fucking weird. I expected something completely different going in so I was a bit apprehensive starting off with the first few episodes but the show has a certain vibe which kept me coming back. A lot of the moments in the show are "cringe" and genuinely are hard to watch, there is no privacy given to the characters especially Sato. We know his every thought and every shameful action every embarrassing moment is put out on display. I think however this makes the emotional moments hit really hard as it shows that these characters struggles are real, struggles one might face ... in their daily life. I don't think I would've enjoyed the show much if the OST didn't hook me on a lot of the emotional moments, it just creates this mood and environment which I find to be absolutely irresistible. I wish there were more "serious" moments and Sato is a difficult character to watch at times. I wish we got more insight on Misaki's character. This is certainly a story which I find myself wanting **more** of and I will be checking out the manga and LN. I'm giving it an 8 mostly because vibes alone carry a lot of the show. Its hard for me to recommend this to people as I don't think most people would click with this show. It's a hard watch at times but I think its worth it.

This is the most overestimated anime that i ever seen, the score 8 is simply a collective delirium, the anime have some good point, but this wont make a good anime, i will enumerate in three lists

Good points;
the soundtrack are really good

yes, are just this, i am thinking about for 10 minutes and i dont get any other good point

razoable points;
caracters: some of them are really good like yamazaki, he is a human that definily exist in some place in the world, some of them are strange to think about like misaki, but the satou is simply the devil, and i am not talking ... about the hikikomori he is, or the lack of social habilities, he is the worse people in the world, everyone are tryng do help him, but he cant take one corret decision about what to do, and it cannot be just "part of the anime proposition", he doesnt grow naturally and some other problems, like how deal with schizophrenia

the art; doesnt are bad, but its not a masterpiece or something like that

Bad points;

the story are really slow, and have like, 12 eps that just doesnt need to exist, this anime you can wacth in 3.0x speed without any problem, and just ignore 10 episodes, because nothing happen, and when happen its just a like piece of shit, the arc of island or the video game should be a joke, because they are really bad, and not make sense, the peoples that thinks that have a good stories are lying to yourself, because "cult people" think that a storie are good just for deal about complicaded topics

the MC i think that i spoke enough about him

and for last, the comedy is not comic
