Audit Log Notifications

You can be alerted with notifications when all or certain actions is performed in Opsera. Using the Notifications module, set up alerts based on your requirements for specific Pipeline, Tasks or Tools. For example, you can set up triggers for your crucial pipelines, to be alerted when the pipeline configuration is updated.

Opsera supports alerts for all types of actions performed. You can choose specific actions (Example: Create, Update, Ownership Transfer) and more, as you set up.

Note: To set up notifications, the user must have view/edit access for the Pipeline/Task/Tool.

Audit Log Notifications for Pipelines

To configure audit log notifications for Pipelines:

  1. Login to Opsera, and navigate to Notifications.

  2. Click +New Policy Notification.

  3. In the Create New Notification Policy popup, enter the Name, Tags and Type.

  4. Choose for which pipelines you want to be notified.

  5. Choose the Notification Method as Pipeline.

  6. Choose based on which action or actions, the notifications needs to be triggered.

  7. Once done, choose the type of notification you wish to receive. Under Notification Configuration, choose Email, Microsoft Teams, Slack or Google Chat and configure it by entering the platform details to receive these alerts.

  8. Click Create.

For example, if an email notification is set up, an email will be triggered when a specific chosen action is performed. The email will have details such as

  • Target: Pipeline Name

  • User: Name of the user

  • Action: Action made on the Pipeline

  • Time of Activity

Audit Log Notifications for Tasks

To configure audit log notifications for tasks:

  1. Login to Opsera, and navigate to Notifications.

  2. Click +New Policy Notification.

  3. In the Create New Notification Policy popup, enter the Name, Tags and Type.

  4. Choose for which pipelines you want to be notified.

  5. Choose the type as Tasks.

  6. Choose the list of task for which you want to receive the notifications for.

  7. Once done, choose the type of notification you wish to receive. Under Notification Configuration, choose Email, Microsoft Teams, Slack or Google Chat and configure it by entering the platform details to receive these alerts.

Audit log notifications for Tools:

  1. Login to Opsera, and navigate to Notifications.

  2. Click +New Policy Notification.

  3. In the Create New Notification Policy popup, enter the Name, Tags and Type.

  4. Choose the type as Tools. Choose for which tools you want to be notified.

  5. Choose the Notification type as Tools.

  6. Choose the Notification Trigger, and add addresses to which the alerts are sent.

  7. Once done, choose the type of notification you wish to receive. Under Notification Configuration, choose Email, Microsoft Teams, Slack or Google Chat and configure it by entering the platform details to receive these alerts.
