Lineaje Tool Registration

Configure Lineaje Tool Registration

  1. Login to Opsera, and navigate to Tool Registry.

  2. Click + New Tool.

  3. In Step 1, select the Lineaje Tool from the listing.

  4. In Step 2, enter the basic details for the tool and set the Access Control by defining the users and the access type. Once done, click Create.

  5. In Step 3, enter your Username and Password.

  6. Click Save.

  7. In Step 4, the tool connection will be tested.

Note: In case of tool connection failure, click Try Again to re-enter the tool configuration details. To proceed with the tool creation and set up connection later, click Skip to Tool Detail.

Your tool will be successfully configured in Opsera.

Add Policy to Lineaje Tool

Add policy to the configured tool. This way, the policy can be used in your CI and CD pipeline workflow in Opsera.

To add Policy to Lineaje Tool:

  1. Open the registered Lineaje tool in Opsera's Tool Registry.

  2. Click Policies tab > + New Lineaje Policies.

  3. In the Policy Name, assign a unique name (e.g., Supply Chain Security).

  4. Select Policy Categories from the left menu and configure the details.

  • Vulnerabilities: Select the Severity Levels, Count and Action. Example: CriticalBlock if count ≥ 10.

  • License: Select licenses and assign them with a Block or Warning action.

  • Geo Provenance: Select countries/regions and assign them with a Block or Warning Action

  • EOL (End-of-Life): Action: Choose the level, EOL count and assign a Block or Warning

  • Dubious Origin: Use this to block packages from non-official sources. Select the level, count and action (warining or block)

  1. Click Save Policy.

Once saved, link the policy to your pipeline workflows in Opsera.

You can start using the tool in the Lineaje Pipeline integration workflow.
