Register and Set Connection for Apigee Tool

  1. Login to Opsera and navigate to Tool Registry.

  2. Select +New Tool. In the tool wizard, configure the tool.

  3. In Step 1, select the Apigee Tool from the listing.

  4. In Step 2, enter the basic details for the tool and set the Access Control by defining the users and the access type. Once done, click Create.

  5. In Step 3, configure the connection.

  6. On choosing the version as Edge, enter details for Version, Zone, Username and Password.

  7. On choosing the version as Hybrid, enter details for the Project and upload the Service Account Details. Using this Apigee Hybrid support, users can seamlessly develop and manage proxies in the hybrid environment.

  1. Click Save.

  2. In Step 4, the tool connection will be tested.

Note: In case of tool connection failure, click Try Again to re-enter the tool configuration details. To proceed with the tool creation and set up connection later, click Skip to Tool Detail.

Add Product

Using the Products Tab, developers can manage their API Products. Connect your API proxies in the Apigee tool to scale your APIs. Your APIs are discoverable by the other developers in the organization.

  1. Open the configured Apigee tool.

  2. Click the Products tab > + New Apigee Tool button.

  3. Enter the details for Name, Display Name, Approval Type, Attributes, Environment and Proxies.

  4. Click Create.

Add Developer App

Give developers access to API testing, discovery, and usage within your organization. The Developer App tab in the Apigee tool lets you choose developers from a list and examine the apps they have created. This associates an app with a developer, associates the app with an API product, and generates an API key for the app to utilize.

  1. Open the configured Apigee tool.

  2. Click the Developer Apps tab.

  3. Choose the Developers from the dropdown.

  4. Enter the details for the API product, Attributes, and Callback URL.

  5. Click Save.

You can start using the tool in the Apigee Pipeline integration workflow.
